Valerie was completely invaluable in making our wedding the weekend of our dreams. My wife and I managed comms with our suppliers so Valerie offered a tiered service where she would support predominantly in the 6 weeks prior and completely oversee the big day with her team on the ground, which worked perfectly. Despite Val’s responsibilities kicking in later in the process, we had regular check-ins and she stayed on top of all updates to our plans. She was the perfect consultant, knowing Sitges inside and out and helping us with suggestions and contacts for a day before welcome drinks and day after party. We also benefitted from her superior experience when it came to wedding flow, how guests would be feeling at different points, and how to make everything make sense on the day.
We had the wedding of our dreams, and at no point felt even a smidge of pressure or worry that we didn’t have a plan B, or being rushed. Everything was designed to fit, and it was then managed superbly - even a calmly suggested change to push our best men speech to after dessert once Val saw how energetic it was, and didn’t want people to sit back down for dessert and lose momentum. All handled and communicated perfectly.
We simply could not recommend a better wedding planner! -

We would highly recommend Val to everyone, but especially to those planning destination weddings in Sitges, because Val's local knowledge and vendor connections were truly invaluable throughout the planning process since we weren't very familiar with the area. We had our wedding in October 2025, but we started working with Val in November 2023 and she was such a calming presence and a huge help throughout the 2 years of planning, making it less stressful and more fun all around. We knew we could trust and rely on her to be on top of things and have everything handled.
She is one of the kindest and most caring people that we've had the pleasure of meeting and she makes you feel so comfortable and supported from day one of planning through until even after the wedding day is over! We felt like she really got to know us and was so great at handling the vendor coordination, and even standing up for us to some of our more difficult family members when they tried to change / add things to the decor and timeline on the day of. Many of our friends and family also noticed how wonderful she was and raved about her organization and clear experience in running not just the wedding day, but all of the events throughout the wedding week too.
We even had a last minute need to book buses for a winery tour day during our stay at Almiral de la Font in the days after the wedding, and even while she was out on a family trip to London, she was so kind to fully arrange the transport for us in just a few hours, making things so smooth and easy for us and all of our guests. She just goes above and beyond in all aspects!!

We got married on May 15, 2024, in beautiful Sitges, Barcelona, and thanks to Val, our wedding was truly beyond perfect. Choosing to use Valerie to help plan our wedding in Sitges in November 2024 was the best decision! We came to her with the timeline of wanting to have our wedding in about 6 months, and she was confident that she'd not only be able to pull it off, but it wouldn't be an issue at all to plan in such a tight timeframe! And she was right! Valerie was with us each step of the way, understanding our vision, providing recommendations for each aspect- from venue, to catering, music, lighting, etc! We were unable to visit the venue or attend the tasting, so she stepped in and took care of all the in person items on our behalf.
On the day of the wedding, the weather wasn't exactly cooperating so she had multiple plans in place and consulted with me, but ultimately made the right decisions for the day without adding any stress as I got ready and prepared for the day!! She helped us with our welcome party and day after party as well. Everything was absolutely perfect and I 100% recommend Valerie if you are planning a wedding in Sitges. -

You can't go wrong!
Val and her team were the reason why my husband and I were able to have our dream destination wedding in Spain! If it wasn't for them, I'm not sure we would have been as comfortable in planning such an event so far from home. Val and her team are full of so much information that you will automatically know you're in the right hands after speaking with her for 5 minutes. Communication is 10/10, you will never be made to feel annoying or silly for asking as many questions as you need. You will always feel important with Val as your wedding planner. We also gained a friend for life in Val and she is such a special part of our beautiful memories. Our wedding truly was the highlight of our lives and Val and her team had such an extreme hand in making it happen. We cannot recommend Weddings Via Val enough!! -

My wife and I live in California - FAR from Spain. We decided we wanted to get married in or near Barcelona and hired Valerie about a year out from the wedding. In that year of planning, we did not visit Sitges once. Valerie managed to put together one of the most spectacular weddings I had ever been to. Our guests still tell us how incredible everything was, and it was all down to Valerie’s hard work. For a year, she was in constant communication with us via WhatsApp, handling all of the planning while dealing with our incessant questions and anxieties.
From day one, Valerie addressed every single one of our needs. She found the perfect venue for us, did the food tasting on our behalf, organized the live band and DJ, handled the flowers, the transportation for all our guests, the hotels, literally everything. She would offer us her ideas and gently steer us in the right direction when our opinions weren’t feasible, and still made sure that everything was exactly how we wanted it. On the day of the wedding, Valerie and her team ran around making sure everything was perfect. She was everywhere and managed to calm my nerves and anxieties so much.
In addition to the wedding itself, Valerie organized reception drinks at a restaurant on the beach the night before the wedding. In the week that we were in Spain, she took care of us in whatever we needed. She organized taxis for ourselves and our families, personally drove my family members, gave us food suggestions, she even rushed over to our AirBnb when my wife’s steamer broke. She has personal connections with so many vendors and venues in town that it felt like she could conjure up anything we needed.
Valerie and her team did so much for us that it’s impossible to describe everything. The only way to properly explain it is that she organized the perfect wedding WEEK in Sitges, and we barely lifted a finger. So many people have told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended. It was the most fun I have ever had, and it is all thanks to Valerie. She is incredible, and we cannot recommend her enough. -

The best of the best 🤍
My husband and I got married just a few weeks ago near Sitges and we had the best weekend of our lives thanks to Valerie. We always knew that we wanted to get married abroad and we managed to book a beautiful venue just a few weeks after we got engaged. At the time, we naively thought we wouldn't need a wedding planner but on the recommendation of the owner of our venue we set up a meeting with her favourite planner, Valerie. After one phone call, we knew we had to book Valerie to plan our wedding.
Upon speaking with her, we realised there was so much more to take into account than we had initially thought and we knew it would be important to have someone with plenty of expertise and experience to guide us through the process. It was also lovely hearing a fellow Irish accent on the call and having someone who would fully understand the needs of our wedding guests :)
From start to finish, Valerie was relaxed, helpful, patient and organised. She thought of so many little things that never would have occurred to us and made so many useful suggestions that both we and ultimately our guests really appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed every step of planning our wedding because Valerie took all of the stress of it away from us.
I never would have expected to feel so relaxed on my wedding day and that was all down to Valerie. We knew we were in such safe hands and that she would take care of any issues. She made so many good calls on the day (in the face of a thunderstorm!) and every decision she made just added to the day. All of our guests loved her and commented on how smoothly everything was organised and how relaxed her and the lovely Sachi were throughout it all.

Planning a wedding, no matter the size, is a daunting task. When we finally decided we wanted an intimate, bespoke Indian wedding in Sitges, the first question we asked ourselves was “How are we going to pull this off?” A brief internet search revealed no shortage of wedding planners in Sitges/Barcelona! After multiple interviews, our decision was made simple when we spoke with Val. Val was eager to take on the challenge of planning our multi-day Indian wedding, which comes with many cultural nuances and details. She was very willing to work with all of our needs, both in terms of budget and vision for the events. Not to mention, she is a HUGE fan of pugs (dog-mom to the adorable Carlino) and recognized our own pug sleeping in the background of our first meeting!
In the months leading up to the wedding, Val and Sachi were very accessible via Whatsapp, email and video chats despite our time difference. We always looked forward to our chats with them! One aspect of working with Val we loved the most was that she made the decision-making process stress-free and was always asking us questions that truly made us feel comfortable in her hands. Whether it was recommending entertainment for cocktail hour or coordinating transportation for our guests, Val was always thinking ten steps ahead. There was never a doubt she was diligently working to make our wedding as seamless as possible. It was during these months we realized that we could not plan this wedding on our own as there are so many minute logistics that we weren’t thinking of - and Val was.
Val’s familiarity with Sitges is one of many reasons why choosing her is a no-brainer. Her personal and professional connections helped us in selecting some very special vendors that were genuinely enthusiastic about our wedding. Sachi was able to introduce us to an incredible mixologist, whose creativity and passion became the life of our party. Other vendors, such as photography (Andreu), lighting (Suit & Music) and decor (Paradiso Barcelona) came personally recommended by Val. Every single vendor was stellar. Val worked effortlessly to execute our desire to have authentic Indian food at the wedding. This involved working with a restaurant in Barcelona (Out of India, who were out of this world!) while also hiring waitstaff (Esteban and team) for the event. There were many pieces to juggle, but Val and her team were brilliant.
During the wedding events, Val and her team were professional, timely, and did everything in their power to ensure that we had nothing to stress about. Even the most well-planned wedding will have moments of turbulence - when they came up, Val went out of her way to right the ship. Our guests had nothing but praise for her, Sachi, and the vendors that were recommended. We learned from other friends and family that it can sometimes be hard to enjoy and be present at your own wedding. However, we can say with complete confidence that we had a blast at our own wedding because of the incredible work from Val and her team. It was an unforgettable experience and we are so thankful to have found new friends in Val and Sachi to help us along the way. -

Living in Ireland and planning a destination wedding in Spain - Impossible. Yes, impossible without having Val and her team. Never could have imagined how stress free (and how much fun) it could be planning our wedding in Sitges earlier this year. Val organised wine tasting, food tasting, venue viewing, budget planning, guest accommodation recommendations, guest transportation, flowers, hairdressers………… pretty much everything we could ever think of and more right down to late night toasties to soak up the alcohol. We had the best possible wedding experience - not only is it a day that we will never forget but we had so much fun we’d love to do it all over again. Ahh where to start with Val’s support ..! Over the 18 months that we were planning our wedding Val meticulously thought of everything, pulled everything together, gave us honest & experienced advice on how things would look and work in practice, put us at ease, and made the whole journey so enjoyable. Where do I even begin!? We just had our wedding a week ago, and I am still on cloud 9! We started planning our wedding 2 years ago, and Val has been with us every step of the way. Planning a destination wedding is not for the faint of heart (we are from the United States), but having Val helped ease so much stress and anxiety. She helped us with logistics, regarding our guests stay and transportation to/from our wedding venue, she helped me coordinate our welcome dinner at a beautiful beachside restaurant, and she was a rock star on our wedding day (with the help of her assistant, Sachi). Val was extremely accomodating with us for meetings and phone calls, especially considering the time difference. Val was vital to the success of our wedding day! Val - The Queen of Weddings!
Wow - what a lady Val is ! We actually miss catching up with her over zoom and having our life so organised 😂!
From our initial meeting with Val, we knew straight away that she was the planner for us.
She is so organised, experienced, friendly, and efficient.
Val helped us with the planning of our special day from abroad (initially all the way from Thailand!), and at every moment we were at ease as Val always knew what should be done, be doing, and be done next!
On our arrival to Spain, Val met with us personally to go through last steps, allowing us to relax and enjoy our day before and leading up to the wedding day - we were so relaxed, the groom and best men were in the pool still about an hour before the photographer was due to arrive!
It was from this moment, we knew working with Val was the one of the best decisions, and very much worth it! Val in planner mode is a force to be reckoned with! Everyone knows what they are doing, when and with who! The whole day was seamless and everything done right to the T. We were asked “did anything go wrong/not as expected?” By a few people and our answer was No! We know Val played a huge part in this.
Our guests commented how “on it” Val is with everything, whilst actioning one hand to their ear and one on their hip (on the radio), but also how she would blend into the background but then appear super quick when something was needed.
A huge thank you to Val for everything you did for us to make our special day what is was and allow us to have the amazing memories we have.

It was a pleasure working with Val and her team to make our destination wedding dream come true! We're based in Detroit, MI (USA) and although had traveled to Barcelona several times, planning an international wedding seemed like a hard task. But from the first call with Val, we knew were n safe and capable hands. We had a good idea of what we wanted and Val did an amazing job of honoring our vision while also giving us different options and new perspectives to consider. Her planning process was very organized and we shared a google spreadsheet so that I always had real time updates on the status of various tasks.
When we visited Barcelona pre-wedding to finalize the big items (venue/caterer), Val made sure that we covered all of the bases, even bringing us mini-cakes to our hotel for a tasting since the baker she highly recommended was unavailable for a tasting that day (and we loved all of them lol!).
Val and her team really shined during our wedding events. They have a great eye for detail and being able to trust Val allowed us to really enjoy each moment without worrying about any planning details during our special day. She even helped us pack gift bags for our guests for our welcome reception! We felt truly supported and definitely give Val 5/5 stars! Wedding planning is her gift and we feel so honored to have her share he skills with us. -

Words cannot do justice for the most perfect wedding Val created for us.
She constantly went above and beyond, was extremely attentive, even helping us find creative ways of encorporating our little quirks (pugs) into the finer details.
Not only is she extremely professional but she has the most amazing personality that allowed us to instantly gel. We raved about her so much that by the time the wedding came everyone talked about 'our val' as though she was part of the family. We have the most beautiful video of my dad hugging her mid speech which just speaks volumes to the amazing woman she is. We felt straight away she really got our personalities which she was able to reflect in the vendors she introduced us to.
Val has a wealth of knowledge and has evidently invested so much in her role that she has developed a repertoire of amazing vendors, caterers, venues, musicians etc. This meant there was always an option that best suited our style.
We trusted Val so much that we happily booked our destination wedding before physically visiting the venue ourselves because her advice always matched our vision. COVID restrictions impacted our ability to fly over and when we managed to get the last minute clearence to travel Val pulled out all stops ensuring we could visit the venue, meet the florists, photographer , have the most breathtaking tasting and see the church all within a few days.
Leading up to the wedding everyone kept asking if we were nervous or stressed and everytime we replied 'no because we have Val' she took away all stress and we trusted she was always in control meaning we didn't have to worry about a thing! As seome who typically controls and plans everything I can happily say I was surprised to find on our wedding day I was an extremely relaxed bride, knowing that every part was perfect thanks to val! -

The Best of the Best!!!
It is hard to put into words how wonderful Valarie and the team at Weddings Via Val were. After a bumpy start in our wedding planning process (that spanned 3 countries and 2 previous wedding planners) we finally landed in the safest hands we could have ever hoped for. Val listened to our every want and desire (no matter how wild they were), including a fully vegan caterer, the request for a local brewery to supply the beer for the whole week, a wedding band that would not play ABBA and a venue that would hold all of our friends and family for some fun and frivolity. She absolutely nailed every single part of the brief and made us feel comfortable and at ease that everything was going to be perfect…in our way.
The level of detail, understanding and organization shown by Val, blew all of our expectations out of the water (which through no fault but her own - were already exceptionally highly). Val managed to perfectly understand us and our vision (which was not an easy one) from day one. She never said "No" so our slightly unorthodox requests she always said, "ok let me find out how we can make that happen". She also never tried to over-stylize us or direct us in a particular way that would better suit her aesthetic. She empowered us to be in the driving seat and she simply made everything magically happen.
Val was exceptionally communicative, and relayed pricing, vendor information and obstacles to us whenever they arose, and she quickly found solutions and work arounds. nothing was too much to ask and she was so proactive that we barely needed to.
Some honorable mentions go to Val for partaking in her first ever vegan tasting with us, trying craft beer at 10:30am in the morning (she's not a beer drinker), helping us relay our incredibly prescriptive playlist to the DJ and negotiating a full vegan menu at a seafood restaurant for our rehearsal dinner. Val was our guardian and partner through the entire process and her knowledge of and contacts within Barcelona are limitless, her solutions are creative, and her wit and warmness are infallible.
We genuinely had the best day of our lives ( I know all couples say that, but we actually did) and I cannot imagine anyone being able to match up to Val's professionalism, creativity, charm and can-do attitude. We got everything we asked for and she provided it within budget and without issue. Our wedding planning process, was stress free, easy and fun, what more could we ask for?
We couldn’t recommend Val enough, in fact we already have.

Professional, personalised service that delivered the wedding of our dreams
Val worked with us for over 2 years - through Covid cancellations and amended plans - to create a wedding experience in Spain that we or our guests will never forget.
She spent time with us to understand the type of wedding we wanted - as a same sex couple who also wanted to incorporate some elements from part of our West African heritage. Outstanding
It is impossible to put into words how outstanding Weddings By Val was.
Our wedding planner Africa was literally an angel who worked magic.
Not only did she constantly think ahead, put forward ideas and recommendations but also at last minute changed all the planning due to bad weather.
Being the bride I was obviously devastated by the turn of Mother Nature showering my outdoor destination wedding, however Africa took all the stress away and completely turned the wedding around within hours.
It almost felt as though the wet day filled with twinkle lights and candles was meant to be.
Africa is so easy to talk to, extremely quick with responses and whatever your dream may be she will organise.
I will definitely be using her for my next wedding :)

Where to even begin to describe all of the ways in which Weddings Via Val made our engagement and wedding day unforgettable? Having lived in Barcelona (now based in the Uk), I was aware of (more like in love with) beautiful Casa Felix albeit uncertain if we would be able to pull off a bilingual French-Scottish wedding in Spain! Stumbling upon Valerie’s portfolio via a spectacular wedding blog, I contacted her about 3 days after getting engaged and from our very first email exchange knew that the process of planning a destination wedding was going to be absolutely epic and wonderful. Not only is Val kind, creative, diplomatic (!) incredibly hard working and fantastic company, but her first-hand knowledge of our venue and close working relationship with vendors across the region is unparalleled.
She made every aspect of the planning feel like a fun event, letting us relish and enjoy every bit of the process - including multiple brilliant trips to Sitges…not to mention a dreamy 1000 course menu-tasting worthy of an Ancient Roman banquet! She made us feel like the only couple she was working with (I still don’t know how she manages to do this - so quickly getting to know our personal tastes and remembering every detail of our plans) and took onboard every request and idea we had with such enthusiasm (like helping us find a bilingual celebrant and piece together a live band supergroup of our dreams). She thought of absolutely everything - helping us create welcome bags of local treats for our villa guests, breaking down the timings of the day so that everything would run smoothly to the minute and making suggestions like where to sit guests so that they wouldn’t have the sun in their eyes during speeches - she is that good!
On the Wedding day itself, lovely Valerie, Africa and Lisa were an unstoppable team! Being able to wander about the property watching everything unfold and get set up around me, in my kimono and slippers, completely worry-free was not only priceless peace of mind but allowed me to spend time with loved ones in a way I never would have been able to had we been trying to manage everything ourselves. It was so so special seeing everything come together in real life from our imagination, getting to greet different lovely suppliers as they arrived, having met and spoken with them for months and months in the build-up to the big day! The seamless timing afforded Anthony and I an emotional “first look” together while our guests got seated, and I got to have a really memorable grand reveal with my dad - all without skipping a beat in the timings as the planning was so spot-on. Words can’t describe the atmosphere and how beautiful everything looked, from the stunning ceremony area and spectacular long table festooned with flowers and greenery to the absolutely breathtaking desert table that Val and Africa put together for us. They went beyond anything I could have imagined (which is saying a lot) and cutting our cake (with a sword!) surrounded by cheering loved ones in a twinkling, candlelit dreamscape like something from Romeo & Juliet will stay with me forever.
Val was not even phased by the concept of a 1920s themed next-day Jazz Picnic BBQ (which was, amazing!!) and helped us create a completely magical second day event for our guests complete with a live Jazz band making cocktails from their piano converted into a bar.. !
There are clearly not enough superlatives in the dictionary for me to convey how positive our experience with Weddings Via Val was, but suffice it to say that I will feel grateful for the experience I had in planning our wedding with her for the rest of my life. xxx -

Beyond amazing
There are simply not enough words to thank Val and her amazing team for all they did for us. From the initial point of contact, to the wedding day itself, and even the days following when guests were still around, Africa went above and beyond in every detail no matter how big or small. We really don’t know how we’d have done any of it without them. As a fond planner myself, we felt dubious if we had the budget for the “luxury” of a wedding planner, but this “luxury” soon turned into a necessity when we realised just how much Val and the team were helping us achieve our dream wedding and within budget. We simply couldn’t have done it without them. Words cannot describe how incredible our experience was with Val & Africa. The moment we were introduced to them, we immediately felt comfortable and knew that they were the team for us. As we live abroad, Africa Skype'd us on numerous occasions to get to know us personally in addition to sorting out the finer details of the wedding. It was a truly personal service and we felt that everything we wanted for the wedding was being put together and more! We felt 100% confident in Africa & Val's planning as they have vast experience in the region and knew all of the best suppliers personally having worked with them over 100 times. On the lead up to the big day, all communication was super clear and we were ready. The 24 hours before and the wedding day itself.....no words can describe how incredible Africa & Val were. The day was like a scene from a movie and it was incredible to see how all of our Skype calls & conversations came to reality. Wonderful wedding planners
Val from Weddings Via Val was amazing in the planning leading up to our wedding. From the first phone call I knew that Val was the right person for us, she saw our vision and lots of her recommendations matched things I knew I wanted, before I’d even mentioned them to her. Val had lots of wonderful recommendations, and helped us find the perfect suppliers for our special day. I genuinely felt I could be completely honest with Val and she helped me map out the most amazing wedding weekend.
Africa was brilliant in the lead up to the wedding, and was invaluable on the day itself. She had every aspect covered, and wouldn’t let me lift a finger on the day itself. Everything I went to do she had already covered. Her energy and enthusiasm was endless, and I loved having her there.

Valerie and Africa were amazing, friendly, patient, trustworthy, meticulous, confident, competent, efficient and no question would go unanswered. Planning a wedding in a different country seemed easy as they did all the hard work, finding vendors, negotiating with them and not afraid to give you their opinion. They are worth their weight in gold and take everything in their stride. I come from an event planning background so I can be hard to please but I knew from the first time I spoke to Valerie, we were in the right hands. The day went amazing, I constantly looked around looking for the finer details and they were there..plus more that I didn't even think of. Africa saw my vision, knew exactly what I wanted and created it. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Flawless service from Val and her team!
This is a shamefully long overdue review.....sorry Val! We wanted to have a destination wedding from the moment we began to plan things. The idea of paying tens of thousands of pounds for a single day in the UK just never sat well with us having been to so many friends weddings the vibe was always that before you knew it, the party was over and everyone was drunk and jumping in a taxi home. We just wanted to prolong our celebration and perhaps hope to guarantee some sunshine along with it. We had a browse online and found a couple of amazing venues near Sitges so booked flights to head out and see them. We loved both venues but my now wife, being a catholic, fell in love with a venue called Casa Felix as it was almost next door to a gorgeous old church. We flew home full of energy and we were convinced we would get married in that church and spend a week at Casa Felix to build up to and celebrate the wedding......then i guess the penny drops and you start to wonder whether this whole dream is even a viable option. My wife is a teacher and i'm a plumber and it seemed we wanted a movie stars wedding so maybe we couldn't have it all. We reached out to two wedding planners who the owner of Casa Felix; a lady called Jane had put us in touch with. Now the important part.....we met Val, at first over an e-mail conversation but then shortly after, an arranged Skype video call. I can honestly say that when we finished that call, we knew that everything we wanted and dreamt about was going to be possible because Val made it feel real. She has so many special qualities which make her perfect for the job she does. I've never heard an Irish person speak another language, never mind flawlessly fluent Spanish! We went through everything we wanted, including the build up, the big day and the after party/reception. She took every single detail on board and shaped the entire week to be the single best week of our lives. There were so many hurdles along the way, such as finding us the right caterer for our budget who also served the right food and many more. Val thinks of so many things you don't even consider, which seems a bizarre statement given that women tend to cover every last detail of their own wedding day, but honestly, so many amazing touches that add to the warmth of the big day. 'Touches' aside, without her passion, organisation and skill we wouldn't have stood a chance getting married in Spain. She brought the whole thing together and took the stress and strain off me and Lizzie so we could enjoy our week and moreover our wedding day. We couldn't have done it without you Val and Africa! Almost a year on our guests still talk about what a legend you were. You gave us the best memories we will hold onto for a lifetime and when we visit Sitges we will be in touch and hopefully meet on the beach somewhere for a glass of wine. Creating your wedding vision with ease
Having a destination wedding is no easy task, though if you have amazing guidance and advice from Val and Africa from Weddings Via Val, you will not have to worry about a thing. They created our magical and fairy tale Spanish wedding in Sitges at Casa Felix. I can be quite controlling and OCD, even maybe worse as a bride, though their organization and attention to detail put me at ease as they created my vision. (My family and friends told me they expected bridezilla yet I was strangely calm through the wedding weekend). I wanted extravagant flowers and color with a romantic feel--Val and Africa captured the Spanish vibes, the weather, the many international guests, and the love that was shared. They are extremely knowledgeable, forward thinking, tri-lingual! and they truly understand brides (and how crazy we can be!). They and all the vendors they recommended, have a calming effect on the wedding which allows you to know they have complete control and grace to ensure you have the most epic wedding. They work perfectly together, so trust their recommendations on vendors, venues and scheduling. I have no idea how we could have ever pulled off our wedding in 6 months without their professional guidance and planning. It was truly amazing day because of Val and Africa (and team). If anything went wrong on our wedding day, I still have no clue because they took care of every detail. Thank you again for making our wedding the most memorable day of our lives. Valerie and her team helped plan our wedding in Catalonia in early October 2018. From the very first Skype call to the last interactions on the weekend of the wedding it was simply a pleasure and a privilege to work with and get to know Valerie.
I know most people will surely think of their wedding day as one of the best days in their lives and so will find it hard to say anything negative about anything to with the experience, the occasion and anyone involved. But even with all that in mind, we cannot think of having had anyone else involved in the wedding but Valerie and the girls.
We were at home in Ireland while WeddingsViaVal did the organising in Sitges. We spent the day at ease without needing to organise one single thing. We laughed and cried the whole way through.
The ultimate testament is in the guests - most of whom told us it was the best wedding they'd ever been to. The food, the ceremony, the simplicity (Weddings Via Val never forced added expense to our wedding which could have been beneficial to them - they simply listened to want we wanted and made it happen) and the organisation.
We will never forget this very special day and never forget Valerie and the team for all they have done for us.

Myself and my wife got married in Sitges in Spain in May 2018. Been from Ireland we were a little nervous about planning our wedding abroad but as soon as we got Valerie and our team on board it was plain sailing .
From first contact Weddings Via Val were brilliant. Val Mireia and Africa were so friendly and professional and put us at complete ease.
They recommended and organised great venues, caterers, music, florists and absolutely everything that we needed. In the months leading up to our wedding everything came together so well. Any enquiry we had was dealt with promptly and we were kept up to date with emails , phone calls and video calls .
We got married in the the Church of Sant Bartomeu and had our wedding reception in Casa Felix. Val and her team were with us throughout the whole wedding making sure everything ran smoothly. Our guests were blown away with the attention to detail at our wedding and I can safely say that we couldn’t of managed it without the brilliance of Weddings Via Val. If your planning your wedding in Sitges, I cant give any better advice than to get Weddings Via Val to be your wedding planners.

Ria Sent on 09/01/2018June 2017 we viewed the beautiful Almiral de la Font in Sitgest, we fell in love with it instantly and as well as finding our dream wedding location, with bumped into Valerie whilst on our viewing - and it all went from there.
From the minute we met, Valerie made us feel so at ease and in totally safe hands, despite having a complex and slightly quirky brief, nothing was too much of an ask.
From booking Valarie straight after meeting her at our viewing, our expectations were surpassed time and time again, from helping with every inch of our vist in November 2017, even down to Resturant bookings, to attending both tastings (which was where we first met Africa) Valerie was charming, calm and shared in the excitement with us every inch of the way, almost asthough we were her only wedding of 2018.
From then onwards we were gifted Africa who helped us custom design, organise and manage our wedding. Over the course of the year we spoke weekly, and towards the end daily.
Africa’s creativity meant that we could bounce ideas around freely and fearlessly push boundaries.We didn’t want a traditional wedding, we wanted colour, food stations, free seating, and numerous music acts.
All of this Africa bought to life for us and it was magically in every way.
We feel incredibly lucky to have bumped into the lovely Valerie on our visit to Sitges back in June 2017, I truely believe that the wedding of our dreams could not have been achieved without these ladies.
Our wedding was 6 weeks ago now and we already miss our weekly/daily emails, Skype calls and text messages. We didn’t just meet 2 wedding planners that are world class, we made friends which is priceless.

My husband and I organised our wedding from overseas but we were extremely relaxed in the lead up to our wedding and that was because every moment had been thought through by Valerie and her team. I'm not the most organised of people so I really needed the help and guidance of a wedding planner. The team went above and beyond to make sure the day flowed perfectly.
My parents went and did the meal tasting in Spain before the wedding as myself and my husband live in Australia. Africa took my parents to the venue and went through everything with them and was very welcoming and accommodating towards them.
We wanted our wedding to be a relaxed and fun occasion which it was and Africa's recommendation for our music was loved by all who attended, we have even been asked to provide details of the band for a friends wedding in Spain.
Our magical wedding day would not have been achievable without Valerie, Africa and the rest of the team.

Finding Val and her team was the best thing that could have happened for us! From our first meeting we felt relaxed and reassured by their knowledge of local vendors and amazing suggestions. From helping us to choose our photographer, videographer, caterers, band... (all of whom we loved!) to finding us the perfect stylist who brought our vision to life, they were a complete godsend and made the whole planning process so straightforward. On the wedding day they took care of everything (we didn't have to lift a finger!) and made sure the whole day ran seamlessly.
I know everyone loves their own wedding - but, for us, our wedding was completely perfect! The Weddings Via Val team truly gave us the best day of our lives.

With friends and family traveling from all over the world to Barcelona/Sitges, we knew we wanted to make everyone's time worthwhile and put on multiple unforgettable events. After chatting with a few local wedding planners, we went with Valerie as she has the local expertise, the experience, and we wouldn't have to worry about a language barrier. Valerie quickly understood my sometimes vague or complicated visions and always found us multiple vendors to perfectly execute! Planning all this from the US was daunting, but Valerie always answered our many many questions and put us at ease through the planning process. Finally arriving in Spain, it felt like we were meeting up with an old friend. All the venues and vendors are exactly what we expected or even better. She found us the perfect venues to host our guests throughout the week. The wedding day was more than I could have asked for and the moment we arrived at the venue and saw the dinner set up, I was overwhelmed with just how perfectly executed it was. While we ran into a few hiccups during the wedding week with procuring the exact alcohol we wanted, she was on top of it and assured us she would do everything to fix it and did! After spending many months constantly chatting with Val via email, skype, and whatsapp, it was SO sad to say goodbye at the end of our wedding night! Everyone in the small wedding planning community in the area had great things to say about Valerie and her team and we can see why. She really went above and beyond to help us plan the perfect week. Other than the obvious wedding planning details, she was so helpful with details I was stressed about, whether it be accepting package deliveries, helping us with down payments, and explaining many very complicated food allergies to various catering teams. We couldn't have done it with out Val and her team!!

We can not thank you all enough. I don't feel I can do Val and her amazing team justice through writing a post but guys you made our day everything we wished for and more. The service provided whilst exceptionally professional is undertaken with the care and concern as if it were being planned for a family member. The ladies excel at interrupting your “vision”, manifesting your snippets of info into a Pinterest worthy creation. Val & her team are in high demand; this you would never know based upon the round the clock service, apparently these ladies do not require sleep!!
Val seamlessly phased into assume the position of control, stress levels immediately dissipated. She is an expert, an experienced pro who anticipates any road bump before it arises, a plan B always up her sleeve. One takeaway from our day – we didn’t spend any time with Val or Africa – it is at this stage they affect the role of Ninja, elegantly affecting invisibility as they swing into action of delivering the perfect day. I guarantee by the time you make it to your wedding day you’ll want the girls to attend as guests but in your heart you know they’re needed elsewhere. And it was perfect…despite the logistical nightmare we created for ourselves. Irish couple, living in Melbourne, getting married in Spain, rolling in 70 disorganised Irish. Luckily we found the lady who accepted the challenge, taking on our muddle and making it into something beautiful. Val’s efficiency is not diluted by her ability to develop personal relationships with those who have so heavily invested in your day; at one point I feared for Val’s identity as my mother and father aired the option to adopt…they have five daughters as it is (and one son) however thought Val might just complement the tribe, posing as the daughter they never had!!
Ladies we cannot thank you enough – you came, you conquered, you left. We will forever be grateful for the memories made.
