  Sandy and her team were AMAZING! I was super nervous about planning a wedding from the states to have in Vieques and she made it beyond easy. Her confidence was comforting and made me relaxed with my decisions. I can't express our gratitude to her and the team. The wedding day trumped all our expectations and everyone was blown away by the decor, food, and service. If you are looking for a wedding planner Sandy is WONDERWOMAN! I would recommend her without any hesitation.

  There is no question that you should hire Sandy for wedding planning services. Even though we had everything taken care of, last minute issues came up. We reached out to Sandy each time and she fixed them immediately, keeping us in the loop the whole time. Sandy has great relationships with everyone we came in contact with on the island and everyone was more than glad to help her fix things for us. Sandy is outstanding!!

  Sandy Malone is a true magic-maker. She was accessible and information from beginning to end and beyond. She takes the angst out of planning a wedding in paradise and reassures you that it will all be as you've planned. She's a alpha-female who just gets it done. Our arrival baskets were simply amazing and so comprehensive. We went from the obtaining of the marriage certificate to a couple massage in our honeymoon suite. I really had nothing left to do but walk down the aisle to my love and dance the night away. Truly the only choice when getting married in Puerto Rico!!! ??

  It was such a pleasure working with Sandy and her crew from the day we met on the island to the day after the wedding. Every event from the welcome party, beach party/rehearsal dinner, to Bio bay tours was perfectly organized with no problems! My daughter’s wedding was flawless! When we arrived in Vieques, everything was organized and ready to go. I seriously never worried about a thing, Sandy had everything under control. Her interns and crew were also fantastic. I would HIGHLY recommend her and the island of Vieques to anyone. When we arrived back in Texas and were asked how the wedding was the only answer I have given is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT, it truly was!!!!!

  Sandy, her husband and the team at Weddings in Vieques met any expectation I could have ever had for a wedding planning service. All events were well executed, and they made our wedding week in Vieques a worry-free vacation. Even when I had an unfortunate accident while in Vieques, they helped us navigate the PR medical system and get the medical resources that I needed at that time. I would unconditionally recommend Weddings in Vieques to anyone looking for an event planning company in paradise.

  When we decided to have a destination wedding, we knew right away that we would need some help - my husband and I are both in surgical residency programs and work 80+ hours a week, not to mention we live in different states and nowhere near Vieques! Sandy was fabulous when it came to working with our hectic schedules to find time for planning calls. We didn't get to see the majority of the decor until the day of the wedding, but between emails and phone calls describing exactly what we wanted, she managed make our dreams into reality. Once we were on the island, we were able to relax and enjoy our wedding without a worry in the world, since Sandy had everything taken care of - even the weather! (It rained on our wedding day right up until the time of the ceremony, but I didn't even get anxious... Sandy and her team reassured me that my beach ceremony would be beautiful and it was; it wasn't until after the wedding that I found out her team was tracking the storm with radar and found the perfect break in the rain to make our barefoot-on-our-favorite-beach dreams come true! :)

  Sandy and her staff were not only fun but very professional. We were pleased with the way they all pulled the wedding off in the most perfect manner. I mean it's a wedding and we all want those to go well right? She smoothed out the bumps that we didn't even knew we had. Just a great team of people to work alongside! I would recommend them to anyone getting married. In fact, I would encourage folks to get married in Vieques, Puerto Rico just for the experience!

  BEST WEDDING EVER!!! This is what my husband and I were told throughout the entire night from our 40+ guests at our destination wedding in Vieques, Puerto Rico. Sandy and her team at Weddings in Vieques by far exceeded our expectations. I was a little apprehensive to leave our wedding in someone else’s hands, especially having never visited the island before or meeting Sandy in person, but I can say without a doubt those worries disappeared the moment I stepped foot on the island and Sandy was there to greet us. Upon arrival, Sandy was there every step of the way to make sure I wasn't stressing too much and was also there to assist with the logistics of transportation arrangements for some of my friends and family arriving late the evening of our welcome party. She was always prepared to help with anything we needed, which certainly came in handy for a couple of small requests we had to call her about during our stay at the villa. She immediately came to the rescue. Even from the early planning stages of our special day Sandy was very detailed and organized and was one step ahead of things. The whole process flowed nicely. She offered nothing but the best the island had to offer as far as choosing the venue, photographer, caterers, DJ, etc. With all choices made, her and the team executed the most fun three day event for us and our guests. She also had other great activity suggestions for our group to plan during our free time. Vieques is small, but it truly has a lot to offer. The gorgeous beaches and the infamous bio-bay speak for themselves...pictures alone do not capture the beauty of it all. If you're nervous like I was about having someone help plan your destination wedding, don't be, enjoy the experience and take it all in! Sandy really knows the area and understands the business, and she will give you the perfect wedding that you'll want to do all over again! I can’t thank her and the team at Weddings in Vieques enough!

  Weddings in Vieques helped give us the best day of our lives. Choosing to do a destination wedding and get married on Vieques was the best decision we could have made. We had a large group attend, so just seeing our guests so happy was a wonderful thing. From beginning to end, Sandy and her team were professional, always going the extra mile to ensure things ran smoothly. My wife and I are still receiving compliments from our guests that this was the best wedding they've ever attended. That really says a lot about what Sandy and her team can do. I am very pleased with the whole experience and look forward to going back to Vieques someday.

  I searched google for a wedding planner in Puerto Rico (where I live) because I wanted a beach wedding. Never thought I would end having a spectacular wedding in Vieques island! I found Weddings in Vieques and since the beginning I got the feeling that Sandy paid attention to what I really wanted and was there to try to make it real. Sometimes when I asked for things that seemed impossible, she would work around my idea and come up with something excellent I didn't think of. She made everything stress free for me and was always making sure that I had everything on time: dress, invitations, favors, blood tests, paperwork, etc. She took care of everything and I took care of my dress, hair, makeup, invitations and the favors. The price was more than fair for what I got. The ceremony was intimate but elegant and well done, the cake and the food were to die for, and the pictures are excellent. Everything I mailed in was well taken care of and arranged beautifully. I loved the ceremony and the brunch, my husband enjoyed everything with minor stress as well and both families were happy about the way everything turned out. It was really a memorable moment and I think it couldn't have been better than it was. I am really grateful we did everything the way we did it and that we chose Sandy as our wedding planner.

  From the moment we were engaged, we knew that we wanted to be married in Vieques. When it came down to actually making that dream a reality, we entrusted Sandy & her team with the task. I spent a little over a year planning my wedding with Sandy. A year is a long time to spend with someone through conference calls & emails but Sandy made it effortless. Every step of the way, she guided, reassured, then reassured again. I am, personally, not good a handing over the reigns &relinquishing control to another person, but I always knew that I was in good hands. This became more true than ever when we needed to change our reception venue in the months leading up to the big day. Instead of dropping the bomb, & letting me worry, Sandy came to me with the news... & the solution. Her recommended fix turned out to be better than we could have imagined (&an opportunity that never would have come about without her help). Fast forward through many more productive calls & emails to the wedding itself. Our wedding festivities opened with a welcome "happy hour" at a local bar. When the bar staff proved too lean to accommodate our crowd, Sandy put in a call to the owner who was onsite to support within minutes. The next day we had our beach party & Sandy & her team executed without fail, even making beer runs to replenish the beverages. The true test came on our actual wedding day. The forecast called for rain, and lots of it. We did not plan for nor anticipate our BEACH wedding getting rained out (especially considering the island had been DRY for months leading up to our big day). Sandy followed my requests and waited until the last possible minute before informing me that we needed to execute Plan B. Luckily, Plan B went off without a hitch. Our wedding was fabulous, beautiful, and the best time of our lives. 2 months later & people have been raving about it ever since. I wish this allowed me more space to share every detail of my experience but I have reached my word limit :(

  My husband and I are from Iowa and we thought a destination wedding to Vieques would be perfect for us. We had never been to the island and knew nothing about Vieques other than it was breathtakingly beautiful. We decided to get married at the W Retreat and Spa - without a wedding planner. As suggested by the W, we chose Sandy Malone to provide flowers for our special day. Our flower was the ivory mini calla lily and Sandy made beautiful bouquets and boutineers wrapped with ivory lace.   One month before the wedding I contacted Sandy because my husband and I were having trouble figuring out how to obtain a marriage license in Puerto Rico. For MONTHS we did research, contacted locals, and called the demographic office searching for answers that were seemingly impossible to find. I finally threw my hands in the air and asked for Sandy's help. Sandy knew exactly what needed to be done. She had an easy-to-understand list of all the documents we needed to bring with us to the island in order to get married, she found us a minister, and after many weeks of dealing with the demographic office (which was to be closed the week of our wedding) she set up an appointment for us to pick up our marriage license. As if that wasn't enough, Sandy picked my husband and I up at the resort and drove us to the demographic office; along the way she taught us about the island! So now you're thinking about how awesome Sandy Malone is, but WAIT! THERE IS MORE! Because of Sandy's connections, our paperwork was done immediately and we were able to bypass the line. While our paperwork was being processed Sandy talked and laughed with my husband and I, which made the trip to the office enjoyable.
  Both Sandy and her team are amazing! As my mom says, "Sandy Malone: Extraordinaire!"

  My husband and I are from Iowa and we thought a destination wedding to Vieques would be perfect for us. We had never been to the island and knew nothing about Vieques other than it was breathtakingly beautiful. We decided to get married at the W Retreat and Spa - without a wedding planner. As suggested by the W, we chose Sandy Malone to provide flowers for our special day. Our flower was the ivory mini calla lily and Sandy made beautiful bouquets and boutineers wrapped with ivory lace.   Sandy and her team were awesome! We were able to relax the 3 days before and I was confident everything would work out perfectly, which it did. Having the peace of mind ahead of time was worth every penny. The officiant she chose for us was perfect, the planning guide and travel tips she provides are very helpful, the flowers and cake were both amazing and the interns and Bio-bay trip were also amazing! Dying to go back there for a visit! Also highly recommend Jillian and Elliot Anderson's photography to any brides interested!

  Sandy came to our rescue in planning our daughter's wedding after we fired the first planner. Sandy and her team's professionalism, energy and great attitude was noticed by all who attended the wedding. She took complete control of organizing the events, and allowing the host (mother & father of the bride) to enjoy the evening worry free. Sandy constantly asked how she could assist us with any issues or challenges that we were having. She even scheduled a flight for our son, who missed his original flight (and she did it with a smile). I have participated in and attended manny weddings, and I must say Sandy is the best planner I have met.
  
  I highly recommend Sandy to anyone who is looking for a stress free wedding.

When Sandy agreed to take over planning the wedding, we were relieved but still had doubts things would work out. There were so many details and ideas to execute in such a short time. Little did we know that no job was too difficult for Sandy Malone to take on as she seems to welcome challenges. In less than three months, Sandy and her team managed to succeed in turning around what would have been a huge disaster. She is truly the best in the business!
