Gene was an absolute dream to have working for me. Cheap land 3 different wedding for me due to family issues. in the end we ended up having it on Mackinac Island which Jean did everything in her power to make happen and even changed all the way to Michigan to make sure everything went off without a hitch. she wasn't just really good at her job but she was very personable every time I had and if you I could call her up and talk to her and she would talk me through it. We loved working with Gene and wood highly recommend her to anybody and everybody.

Jean was the absolute best! without her I would of been a mess on my big day. She was so helpful and the biggest help I could ever ask for, without her my wedding would not of been met my dream vision.

Jean was awesome! Helped us plan, coordinate and pull off the wedding of our dreams. Jean is well networked in the Dayton and was able to connect us with some awesome vendors as well (Floral V, Childers Photography, etc.). Jean was very accessible, and easy to work with. Highly recommend!!

Jean is great to work with. She is interested in making sure the couple's wedding is all they want it to be. I found her to be very patient and calm at a time when all of us need to work to stay calm! She is great at giving options to you for all vendors and facilities and decorations. Her contacts and advice is great.
She is very kind and understanding of budgets and keeping on target!

17 years ago, I married my best friend. Our wedding was a complete success greatly due to Jean Neuhart and Weddings from the Heart. We both got a really good feeling about Jean at our initial meeting with her and our instincts were completely accurate. She helped us plan our Ohio wedding from the East Coast. She scheduled all the visits with florists, DJs, caterers, etc. so that we could meet with them back-to-back during our trips to Ohio. She helped us pick out the perfect invitations for us while helping us stay within our budget. And she was absolutely indispensable on the day of our wedding, making sure that the entire day flowed smoothly, that events took place as scheduled, and that we even had a chance to eat despite a busy schedule with photographers, etc. She made our wedding day the best celebration of our lives. Hiring Weddings from the Heart was one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding and we would recommend her to anyone getting married. Thank you, Jean!

IF I ever plan to get married again - I will be happy to book Jean to help me with the planning ALL OVER AGAIN.

I live in Florida and wanted to get married in Dayton, OH where my family was. I contacted Jean out of the frustration (and luck I think) about needing a planner as I couldn't be there to handle details. She was quick to respond, creative and flexible as we had to change our date after hiring her. She thought of things I didn't consider, she was crafty about putting some things together for me as well. She was such a pleasure to work with and helped me keep it all moving so things happened on time when they should have.

I couldn't have done it without her. Seriously.

I could not recommend her enough to ANYONE who is getting married. She is the reason I will highly advocate for people to get a wedding planner for their wedding.

We found Jean last minute for our wedding ceremony and it helped myself and my husband out tremendously. Jean was extremely friendly and positive, in addition to making us feel at ease with planning a wedding in a different stated than where we lived. She helped us through our rehearsal and made sure that all of our vendors were on track and on the same page. Jean also made sure that all the chairs were set in place and everything was set up for our outside ceremony. I would definitely recommend Jean to be your coordinator of your special day.

Jean was amazing! Such a sweet lady and helped me so much. I couldn't have asked for a better planner. always responsive and always had an answer for all my questions. never had to stress about one thing.

Working with Jean was great! I love how quickly she responded to my emails when I had questions or concerns. Her professionalism was wonderful. I love working with someone who is prompt to meetings, very flexible with scheduling, and who has nice ideas. Jean eliminated my stress because I knew she would get the job done. Jean was fabulous. She brought pivotal information to the process of planning my wedding. Her knowledge of local vendors helped me put together an incredible team that made our wedding day perfect. And the day of the wedding her and her assistant took care of anything that came up. We had an outside wedding on our farm which meant there were a lot of vendors and details to deal with that day. She moved chairs, converted our alter to an outdoor bath counter with hand sanitizers and other toiletries. And finally she handled packing up linens and vendors equipment at the end of the night. I can't recommend her highly enough. She is a gem.

At first my husband was against using a wedding planner. To be honest I wasn't so sure it was necessary either. However, Jean Neuhart, from Weddings From The Heart, changed both of our minds. Without her help our daughter's wedding would not have been as beautiful or stress free as it was. It was well worth it to have Jean along side us. Both my husband and myself are so grateful for her wonderful help.

Jean did a wonderful job connecting us with DJ, photography, reception site, cake and limo options that fit our budget and style and were trusted based on her past experiences with them. I am not from Dayton so this was extremely helpful. Jean was also an asset on the day of the wedding to keep everything running smoothly. I recommend her without hesitation!

Weddings From the Heart helped us with our wedding planning. They kept us on schedule in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and provided us with information on vendors that were top notch. We had some local vendors that we wanted to use, and Jean was very accommodating. She met with them and just jumped right in and managed the process. Most important to us, Jean and her staff were there on the wedding day to deal with all the details and to handle a couple of minor issues that came up. As the mother of the bride, I was able to fully enjoy the wedding day knowing that Jean was there attending to all the details. For me, that was invaluable.

When it came to choosing a wedding planner, Jean was the perfect fit for my husband and me. We were planning a wedding from out of town with me in Florida and him in England. Jean was there throughout the planning process to coordinate vendor meetings, manage contracts and keep us on track with our checklist! She was very responsive to phone calls and emails on issues big and small. She introduced us to some great vendors--especially Jessie at Sherwood Florist and Willow Winds Transportation. We were really impressed with how well Jean ran the rehearsal. We were in and out in an hour--which is saying something given the size of our family! On the day of the wedding, she brought breakfast to my room, provided a great emergency kit and made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be when they were supposed to be there. And she did it all with a smile! I would recommend Weddings from the Heart to any bride and groom. She is fantastic!

I'm not sure where to start-Jean was WONDERFUL! From the inital contact, she was professional, timely, and very respectful of my needs and budget. We only did a DOC package, and she was still VERY helpful in everything leading up to the big day. Despite a small reception and a pretty DIY setup, Jean and her team made it absolutely wonderful. She even thought to record our first dance and thoughtfully sent it to us after the wedding-how amazing is that!?

Without question, I recommend Weddings from the Heart. She helped my wedding day go smoothly and allowed me and my family to relax and enjoy ourselves. Thank you!!

My daughter's wedding went off without a hitch and I have to say that Jean had a HUGE hand in that. Our arrangements had a big bump along the way (our venue got canceled just 3 months before the day) and Jean got right to work arranging appointments and gathering information on new venues. We booked a new place in just 3 days. Jean may be quiet but don't let that fool you. She was very much in charge which allowed me the pleasure of just enjoying our family's big day. We worked side by side in the wedding details by my choice but I am sure she would plan a beautiful event even if you left it completely in her hands. Jean is very detail oriented and organized. I would recommend Jean to anyone!

My wedding was not only out of state but also in a city I had never been to. It would have been impossible for me to have pulled together what I wanted without Jean. I actually did not have a care in the world on my wedding day because I knew that Jean had taken care of everything. She found my venue, planned and executed everything.
I had some odd requests, one being I wanted an intimate wedding set in a barn. Jean found the most incredible horse barn with an amazing view. She sent pictures of everything since I was in another state during the planning. She communicated with me so well and made sure that we had everything I wanted.
Even better, Jean made my small budget go a long way.

Jean was great! I pushed my wedding back a year....and she was able to work with all then vendors on my behalf. She listened, and guided me through my big day....recommended the florist (fantastic above my expectations for the price) and make up artist (also fantastic...I did not want to wash my face)....I was on a tight budget yet it turned out wonderful....

Weddings from the Heart was the best value for the dollar of all our vendors. Jean came in especially handy on our wedding day when the hotel we had chosen decided to be less than friendly for us. She helped us put together the type of wedding we wanted, never telling us we had to do things a certain way, while providing advice about etiquette and tradition. She even helped us find a last minute officiant (when ours cancelled a month before the wedding) that was a perfect fit to our chosen ceremony. We had a really fun time with her and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding coordinator!!

Our wedding planner, Jean, from Weddings from the Heart was terrific! She is a very kind and warm person. She listen to what I wanted for my wedding and gave a 110 percent in helping me have my dream wedding. She was very creative and made great recommendations in regards to vendors. We had just about everything, but someone to marry us and as we all know the most important part of the wedding is having someone to marry you otherwise well kind of defeats the point. Jean recommended Terry and he was terrific. She made sure all the vendors were paid so I did not have to worry about that. I am so happy that I met Jean and she was not just my planner, but it felt like more of a friend. I would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding and want someone creative, responsible, and very personable.

Jean did a fabulous job making our wedding go smoothly and her manner was calming and caring, while working with us. She was flexible, helpful, and a great listener, so that ideas came together. Jean coordinated all the important details and worked well with the other vendors, too. My daughter, the bride wanted Jean's help, so that the family would be free from the set-up and take down activities on the busy wedding day to have more time to enjoy the event. It worked! I live in Maryland, but got married in my home town in Xenia, Ohio. I found Jean on the internet. After our initial phone conversation, I knew immediately I had found the person who I could trust to be my eyes and ears, since most of the planning and preparation activities would be executed in a different state. Since Jean lived in Ohio, she stood in for me by driving to Xenia to meet with my pastor to plan out the decor for our church ceremony. She also met with the staff at our reception site to plan the details of our reception (decor, seating, menu selections, placement of the DJ and photographers, etc.). She recommended and secured our DJ and photographer. All this was going on while I was in Maryland, but I never felt like I was left to wonder how things were going. Jean and I talked all the time. She always made herself available to me, even when she traveled on her vacation she took my calls assuring me all was in order. Instead of sending my wedding and reception gowns to my family, I sent them to Jean’s house. I had the upmost trust for her and literally felt like I could place my wedding in her very capable and competent hands. After months of preparation, a wind storm occurred the day my husband and I flew to Ohio for our wedding. The electricity went out at the church and the reception site was no different. In the very throws of this unbelievable act of nature, Jean sprang into action and immediately helped to establish Plan B; an outdoor wedding and reception. Literally, I was numb and crazed at the thought of not getting married in my grandmother’s church; the one I grew up in. Under fire, Jean stayed poised and focused. Performing the required due diligence, to take an indoor wedding outside in less than 48 hours. Somehow, Plan B was developed and ready to go if the electricity did not come back on. The day of our rehearsal, the electricity came on and the rest is history. My husband and I are forever grateful to Jean for her many hours of laboring in love to make sure our day was perfect. I truly believe Jean was sent as a gift from God. She will forever be in our hearts. We are most grateful to have had her as our wedding planner.

"Weddings from the Heart" made our special day absolutely perfect! Our guests were raving over our wedding and so much of the hard work could be contributed to Jean. She goes above and beyond for her couples and really makes your event carefree and most memorable.

Jean did a good job for our very elaborate wedding at the Dayton Art Institute in Dayton, Ohio on Oct. 2015. She handled the vendors and got us a great rate on catering. We were very pleased with her responsiveness and professionalism. She was a pleasure to work with.
