Terry was wonderful! She was very quick to respond and allowed us to fully customize our ceremony script and provided a surplus of pre-written examples. She showed up early to assist with the marriage license and explained everything we needed to know. And an incredible bonus, she happily accommodated our 6am sunrise elopement including a sandy and humid location. I highly recommend her to anyone, especially those eloping! -

Terry was kind and always got back to me the day of to answer my many questions. She gave us so many sample scripts to choose from and was always willing to help assist us. We couldn’t have asked for a better officiant! -

In spite of my procrastination, the wedding was a huge success. I waited until the last minute to fine an officiant, I gave her the script for the service the day before the wedding and we decided to forego a rehearsal. However, Terry was great and was very professional. I definitely recommend her. -

She provided the most beautiful/perfect script that allowed a moment to honor my dad, who has passed away, in such a meaningful and gentle way. Terry is a very sweet and understanding officiant! She showed up for our rehearsal the day before our wedding on time, and helped prepare us for the ceremony. We did our ceremony rehearsal at our rehearsal dinner since our venue was unavailable the night before our wedding. It was a stressful situation due to the restaurant's lack of organization and flow with the dinner service, but Terry handled it well and kept everyone on track. She gave a beautiful ceremony for our wedding at Sweeney Barn on October 4th, 2025! Absolutely lovely and stunning. I really loved Terry's speedy responses to my questions and her flexibility with the script that she was to use on our wedding day. Terry really cares about making her couples happy and goes above and beyond to make that happen. Our completed marriage license was mailed/returned to the district court on time (within 5 business days of the wedding) and we were able to pick up our marriage certificate shortly after. I also liked that Terry was respectful of the fact that we did NOT want a religious ceremony. You want someone who is versatile to marry you, and she definitely is! Highly recommend her to officiate your wedding! :) -

Reverend Terry was so kind and thoughtful providing valuable tips on how to have the service go smoothly and how to manage the marriage certificate process.
The guests mentioned how great she was with the ceremony; well spoken, not rushed, easily heard and it was conducted solemnly but with a nice touch of humor.

Terry was professional, sweet, and perfect for our non-religious ceremony
Terry provided superb service for a great price! As soon as we contacted her, she responded in a quick and professional manner. Our civil ceremony was a non-traditional, non-religious ceremony. Terry sent many different scripts for us to help craft the best wording for our special day. We came up with a custom script which she used for our ceremony. Before the ceremony started, she made sure to ask us how to pronounce our names, which I really appreciated since we both have unique names. Also, since Terry arrived early before the ceremony, she wasted no time in filling out the marriage license form beforehand. Little details like that go a long way. We both highly recommend Terry! -

Terry Was an Absolute Angel – Rain or Shine!
We truly don’t have enough words to express our gratitude for Terry, our incredible wedding officiant. She was so much more than someone who guided us through the ceremony – she was calm, warm, professional, and brought such a genuine sense of love and joy to our day.
And let’s talk about the RAIN! Yes – our wedding ended up happening in a full-on downpour, and Terry didn’t miss a beat. She stood with us, smiling through every drop, completely unshaken, and made the ceremony feel just as magical (if not more!) than if the sun had been shining. Her grace and presence during that moment turned what could have been chaos into something deeply beautiful and unforgettable.
She spoke with heart, intention, and authenticity – our guests are still talking about how moving the ceremony was. Terry helped us feel grounded and connected, and she truly made the experience feel personal and meaningful.

Wonderful officiant
We loved having Terry as our officiant! She was flexible with figuring out our rehearsal and very informative about wedding information and what to expect! She was professional and friendly and did an amazing job with the script we chose. I would highly recommend! She really fit perfectly into our wedding! -

Terry was so wonderful and lovely - she has the perfect demeanor for this role. Someone even complimented how lovely seeming our officiant was... I found Terry on one of these websites and after one call with her I was sold - she is very sweet and was very professional on the day. 10/10 would recommend, hopefully I'll never have to use her services again (for a wedding!) but would definitely recommend. She helped run the rehearsal like a real professional, she travels too! Note - she did jump out of the pic for our first kiss, it's just this photo I posted (our teaser photo) was taken from an angle.. -

It was so great having Terry officiate our wedding. So was so professional to beginning to the end. She provided templates of different ceremonial ideas for us to begin the brainstorming session. She was flexible making our edits and providing feedback on our additions. We made a HUGE mishap and forgot our wedding license for the ceremony. Terry was able to still perform the ceremony onsite for us and took time out of her personal day afterwards to meet us and sign the paperwork. She was very caring and sweet to work with. We highly recommend her for your wedding needs! -

Terry was amazing! She was there on time, she made the process easy by sending in our marriage license for us and we didn’t have to think about it. She was professional and perfect for our special wedding. Not only did the bride and groom enjoy her being there but also did the guest. Our original plan was to elope at the courthouse, but then our parents a some other family that knew our plan wanted to come for it. So my now husband, wanted to get a small venue for the ceremony so it was more private. I didn't think I would be able to find a place, but that's when I was so lucky to find Terry. Not only was she a highly-rated and experienced officiant, but she had a small venue that worked out PERFECTLY for us. We got married at Terry's home. She has a beautiful house and wedding ceremony setup in her backyard. We ended up having 10 adults and 2 children at the ceremony and everyone said the wedding looked like we had planned it for months (really it was more like 3 weeks). Anyway, Terry and her husband prepared the backyard so that it had furniture and tables for people to talk before the ceremony. The ceremony area had a pagoda that they draped with tulle and flowers, benches for the guests and a speaker where they played music before and after the ceremony. The property is backed by woods and it's very private. We had a photographer and she loved the property since it had beautiful trees, flowers, and greenery all around that made for very nice pictures. Terry also has a pretty gazebo in her property that we could have also used for the ceremony, but instead we used it for pictures. Terry also opened her home and let us use one of her bedrooms and bathrooms for me to finish getting ready before the ceremony (and hide out). For the ceremony itself, Terry sent us many samples and options for us to look at. So, the ceremony was exactly what we wanted and Terry did a fantastic job delivering it. Honestly, this was above and beyond what we could have hoped for. Thank you Terry for hosting our small wedding and giving us such a perfect day!! -
