One thing I can say about Patti she really touched my heart with everything she did for my big day. From the consistency with her responses to me to the heart felt email she sent to me the night before my wedding it brought tears to me. She is amazing and made us both feel so comfortable. I would recommend her to EVERYONE and the price was great it wasn’t too much.

Fabulous job
I would recommend Patti to do any wedding. She was very polite and I got her at last minute. Due to certain circumstances that happened. Patti did a fabulous job and has a great sense of humor.
Patti traveled a long ways for my wedding and we truly appreciated it.
The cost wasn't bad at all. She fit right in with our group.

Such a pleasure!
Patti is absolutely amazing! Very professional and so sweet and kind! When we called her she spoke with us for at least 45 minutes and made us feel very comfortable and happy about picking her to be our officiate. She communicated wonderfully through email and text when I had several different questions, even after we spoke over the phone. We were so pleased with her and would recommend her to anyone! Patti was absolutely amazing! She helped us keep everything smooth sailing even with changes we had to make as last minute as the week of the wedding. She gave us a copy of what she was going to say for us prior to the wedding and let us make changes as we wished (even though it was a perfect sum up of our relationship, so we didn't have to!). Patti made our ceremony very enjoyful for not only us but our guests had some laughs in there as well. We are extremely thankful for her taking the time to get to know my husband and I so she had the perfect script to share for us.

Her voice is very calming and she brought the energy when needed! She made our ceremony go smoothly and perfectly. Many of our guests have told us how great she was! The ceremony was delayed a year because of the pandemic, and Rev. Ruhala stayed in touch with us throughout. It was also especially helpful as Rev. Professional Low Key Chill Kind
Reverend Patti was exactly what we were looking for. It was sort of last minute. The courthouse cancelled our original wedding day. So I called Patti and she made the trip to Ann Arbor. It was freezing cold, outdoors, 8 people or so, in the middle of the pandemic. And she showed up on time, communicated very well, was a good sport about being outside in the middle of winter. It was a lot of fun.

You’ll be thrilled with Reverend Patti!
Reverend Patti was our wedding officiant in summer 2021. She was amazing! You could tell she had a lot of experience as she guided us through how the ceremony usually goes. She knew what questions to ask and was there to support us.
Our rehearsal was very rainy but the Reverend came with a smile, walking us through what to do.
Our wedding turned out great and you can tell she really cares about you as a couple. You will not regret going with Reverend Patti!

Covid Bride
As many covid brides know this year did not go how we expected! I had to downsize my wedding and a few weeks before the wedding my pastor suddenly passed. I was left frantically looking for an officiant. When I reached out to Reverend Patti she was so quick to respond!! I feel so blessed that I found someone so patient and knowledgeable. Patti did an amazing job at writing up our wedding ceremony. She listened to our love story and took it and interwove it with the way she ministered our wedding. There was not a dry eye in the house at the way she included my children in the ceremony. Also she is a positive light and a big comfort on the day of the ceremony when nerves were running high.

Planning a wedding during a pandemic is well, awful. All of the not knowing what will happen and trying to keep hope alive that you will still have your special day is difficult. Having Rev. Patti in our corner the entire time certainly helped me keep my hope alive. She was kind and positive and always very responsive! Our day came, and it was HOT and HUMID and rained! But even with all of that she kept a smile on her face as well as ours and made everything so special! I cannot recommend her enough to anyone! She is sweet and funny and just an overall joy to work with! Thank you again for making our day perfect. :)

Patti is a Pro!
Patti did a wonderful job throughout our wedding process and at the ceremony. She was always responsive, checked in with myself and my mom on how things were going, and made the rehearsal and day of the ceremony go very smoothly yet still had fun and joked with us and my bridal party. It is very important to have a great officiant- I have attended some weddings and wondered if the officiant was more nervous than the couple! But she knows what she's doing! Our ceremony felt intimate and personal yet still light and happy. I would definitely recommend Patti to anyone for their big day!

Rev. Patti took on our wedding in a very short notice and within that time we communicated all we wanted apart of our wedding day and she listened to what we wanted and gave feedback when asked and even gave suggestions that we really liked. She did an outstanding job, we couldn't have gotten the quality of such an important and special day without her. She brought everything we asked for together making it a most beautiful ceremony. She traveled an hour away and her price was very reasonable for the quality she put into it, were others we looked into (and there were many) they wanted twice the amount and nothing compared to her quality and authenticity and sincerity that she gave. My husband and I could not have been happier with our choice to work with Rev. Patti. She was very responsive and supportive through the whole process. She helped us to put together an awesome ceremony that really fit for us, and had some great suggestions about other things that we could add in to make the big day our own. On top of all that Rev. Patti genuinely cared about making our ceremony perfect down to the detail and took her time to make sure that everything was in place, as well as spelled and pronounced correctly. She even helped me with a minor dress emergency the morning of the wedding, and sewed the little hook that keeps the zipper closed back onto my dress! If you are looking for a stress free experience, and to work with a kind, caring officiant Rev. Patti will be a prefect choice.

Patti was great very helpful in deciding how to do our ceremony. We got married at an apple orchard and I was unsure of how a non-traditional ceremony works. Sharing our wedding planning experience with Rev. Patti was such a treat. Although officiating weddings is something that she likely does every weekend, she's very cognizant of the fact that it was our first time and was very careful and kind enough to walk us through the process completely- step by step. We had a mixed culture wedding (my husband is Japanese) and Reverand Patti in her own time researched Japanese weddings and came to the table with some of her own ideas to add some Japanese flare to the ceremony. She also helped ensure the rehearsal as well as the real day went flawlessly. Truly a professional.

Patti was an excellent addition to our wedding as she was fun, caring, and very organized. We found Patti last minute but that didn't stop her from being excellent at everything she did. We chose the best officiant by far and I would recommend her to anyone!

Rev. Patti Ruhala did above and beyond what we expected! My husband and I had a movie themed wedding and she really helped bring that to picture ??. She was patient with us while we made decisions, was more than willing to meet us more than once before the wedding, and with last minute time changes she had no problem with them. I recommend her for any wedding because you can tell she loves what she does! To have a person you just met make you feel like you've known them for years is a great, trusting feeling. Patti did it all for us. She didn't make the service too long and boring. We had a quick wedding and we planned everything within 2 weeks and she was great! She was on time dressed professional and available on such short notice! Thank you so much Patti for your services!

I originally planned on using a friend. Something came up and I found Patti. I am so glad I did. My daughter's wedding would of been a disaster with out Patti. We tried to do most everything ourselves. We lost control a bit at the end. Patti stepped in, first helping with some emergency pins on a last minute bridesmaid switch and then quickly changing the ceremony when we forgot the candles. My friend would not have been able to help like Patti and her fee was more than worth the services she performed. My mother said seems like she has saved others before. Everything was so perfect in the end. I am amazed at how quickly she made changes to create the beautiful service for us. She also gave my daughter so many options on her service and ensured she had the wedding of her dreams. Thank you Patti!

Whenever I had a question, she always responded right away, and when she didn't know the answer, she was sure to find it for me. She was very friendly, funny, easy going, yet very professional. I had many compliments on how beautiful my ceremony was! I highly recommend her!

Patti Ruhala was very helpful, accommodating and professional. She took the time to make sure the wedding ceremony was done without a hitch (and yes it was). She gave us ideas for interesting ways to incorporate the kids and family. She gave us the idea for a sand ceremony and handing flowers to the mothers of the bride and groom.

My husband booked Rev. Patti for our wedding after just one phone call from her. We are currently living outside of the state where our wedding took place, which made it difficult to find officiants. She was able to meet all of our needs and willing to conduct our wedding planning over the phone. She tailored our ceremony to meet our needs, allowing us to choose reading and add in our own special words to each other. She was very accommodating during our rehearsal when some of the bridal party arrived late due to traffic and allowed us to run through multiple times. On the day of the wedding she was right there with us making sure things ran smoothly. I was so afraid I would forget everything we went over during the rehearsal, but it was ok if I did because Rev. Patti was right there! She did a wonderful job of making our wedding day perfect!

Reverend Patti was wonderful to work with. She was very responsive to any questions I had, and the ceremony details. She even printed out the poem for my daughter to read.
She has a super personality, and truly wants the best for your wedding, down to every little detail.
Our ceremony was short, light hearted, but yet heartfelt. Just as we wanted it.
Reverend Patti was perfect, and I highly recommend her.

We contacted Patti at the last minute and she was able to squeeze us in to be our officiant. Her responses were almost immediate and she was very professional. Although she was about an hour late for our rehearsal, the wedding day came together great and almost flawless. We did find her prices a little bit higher than other places around.
