Ashley and her team were incredible from the beginning. I was impressed with the level of detail she had throughout the entire process. Everytime I had a question or concern, she addressed it fully and brought my vision to life. Especially my bouquet, it was huge (exactly how I wanted it) and was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Towards the end of my planning process, they rolled out rentals! This eased my pain quite a bit, as I had no chargers planned, no where to put the sip and be seated glasses and needed coupe glasses for our champagne tower. She had all of this and more and it saved my so much stress! You need Weddings by Lavenders. Thank you for everything, Ashley! - Jessica Green -

Awesome to work with!
We were very impressed with Weddings By Lavenders. They put together an incredibly detailed Floral proposal and she seamlessly understood the floral vision that we were going for. Even though we had a good understanding of what the floral plan was, we were blown by how everything came together and that is a huge testament to the Weddings By Lavenders team. -

Highly Recommend!
Ashley and her team did a WONDERFUL job on the flowers for my wedding day. It was SO beautiful. Everyone keep telling me how beautiful the flowers were on my wedding day, especially the head table! Would highly recommend Lavenders to any bride needing flowers for her wedding day!

Solid floral vendor!
If you want super elaborate floral, then my review won't help you. Because I had my wedding at a stunning venue (Bell Cavalli), I didn't feel the need to have a huge floral budget. I wanted greenery and white flowers, and bouquets with a lot of texture. The one thing I appreciated most about Ashley was that I told her my budget and what I needed, and she met it! Not a dollar over. I didn't have the same experience with other florists. The floating candles coming with the greenery table runners were a huge plus too. Additionally, her ideas for repurposing decor were appreciated and saved money. Ashely was easy to communicate with, and although she was not there the day of the wedding, it was all set up and decorated nicely. -

Most Beautiful Wedding Floral
Ashley created the florals of my absolute dreams for our wedding! She is so kind and so easy to work with and we have nothing but great things to say about her. We recommend her to everyone we know getting married! We received compliments all night long on the florals she created for our reception and on the bouquets. She went above and beyond to create exactly what I was picturing! Ashley and her team saved us on our wedding day by creating extra boutonnieres after they had left the venue and we were SO thankful they did! I will forever be singing the praises of TR Floral and Ashley!! -

We hired Ashley for our wedding in November 2020. She was flexible and understanding when we made changes to our original plan due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on our chosen colors and a few inspiration photos, Ashley created the most beautiful centerpieces and bouquets for our wedding. All of our guests and vendors complimented on how stunning the florals looked. We are forever grateful to have Ashley and TR Floral be a part of our special day. -

Ashley was SO easy to work with, was super willing to work within my budget, responded quickly and even was able to do some last-minute additions when I suddenly realized my boutonnière count was off. I sent her a few inspiration photos and she immediately understood where I was going, returning a proposal that I didn't have any edits on! When the weekend came, she texted me a photo of my bouquet in progress and asked for feedback --- super appreciate that, though I really didn't have any! I was very happy with the bouquets, our table bud vases and the flowers on the cake were such a good touch. Highly recommend Ashley and TR Floral! -

Ashley is AMAZING!
We moved our wedding from Cabo to Dallas with only 2 months to go. Ashley responded so quickly and worked with our budget! I sent her our vision and she seriously knocked it out of the park!! She sends you a very detailed package of what she is going to do and I LOVED that! If you are looking for a florist for your wedding, Ashley is your girl! -

Ashley is amazing! TR Floral worked with our budget for our small wedding when most florists turned me away. After being turned away by others I didn't think I would have the beautiful bouquets or flowers other brides have and at one point resigned to doing them myself and the thought of adding that on my plate made me feel uneasy. My Matron of Honor found Ashley with TR Floral and immediately sent me pictures and info. After talking with Ashley about my vision and my budget she said no problem. She quickly sent me back vision boards that took my breath away and were exactly what I wanted. Her artistic nature and attention to detail are superb. Ashley is friendly, prompt, and very responsive, I never waited long to hear back from her. Everything she made for my wedding was absolutely gorgeous. I strongly recommend TR Floral for your wedding floral needs. -

Exactly what I wanted for a great cost
I was trying to stay in a budget for our wedding flowers and were only looking for people flowers and for the flowers for the alter. I tried everywhere and kept getting high prices and told I couldn’t use the flower colors I wanted. She was my last contact for the flowers and she pulled through. She was so flexible with my order - I kept having to add. And what she did with the flowers was unbelievable! I gave her pictures of what I was looking for as far as style and she nailed it! Especially our alter! I was beyond amazed and happy! -

T Sent on 03/24/2018A friend lost her teenage son this January, so I wanted to brighten her day. I specifically wanted tulips and ranunculus, knowing that they were in season this month. Ashley, with That's Ranunculus, was quick to respond, helpful in offering beautiful, large blooms in colors that I wanted and sent me a photo before delivering it. On top of all of that, the price was very fair and I loved the arrangement, as did my friend. Highly recommend using That's Ranunculus!

Teena Sent on 08/14/2018There is no reason for you to look anywhere else. Trust me. I have done the research and contacted close to 10 other top rated florist. That’s Ranunculus is the best. They are affordable and their work is amazing! This is the one vendor I would push on any of my soon to bride friends. Ashley, is really easy going and flexible. I had so many ideas and changed my mind so many times and she was really patient. Thank me later!

Tiffany Sent on 07/26/2018I found That’s Ranunculus when I was searching wholesale florists to DIY bouquets and boutonnieres for my wedding. Ashley was very responsive to my questions and ideas, and the prices were extremely reasonable. In the end, I paid the extra small fee for her to assemble and deliver the bouquets. She arrive promptly on the morning of the wedding with boutonnieres sorted and bouquets in water. Some flowers were a little droopy due to the high heat and travel but otherwise they were exactly as we had discussed. I would highly recommend for any Houston brides!

Nova Sent on 09/04/2018Ashley put my mind at ease leading up to the big day. We had thrown around ideas I saw on pinterest when we first booked everything. She gave me estimates and just asked for my top priorities on what I wanted to include. I think I changed my mind several times about the number of corsages or centerpieces. In the end, she was super flexible and adjusted my invoice every time I had a change. There were no issues in adjusting at all. The prices I felt like were very competitive and I stayed on budget. I wanted lanterns to be adorned and to get a better fit for it she had the lanterns picked up the weekend before from my house and had them delivered ready the night before the wedding at the venue. She coordinated this with my venue coordinator so i didn't have to worry. I didn't want extravagant bouquets to steal away attention from the gown or my bridesmaids so they turned out perfect pleasant and still beautiful. Unfortunately, my photographer I believe didn't capture my centerpieces as well as I thought they looked in person. The eucalyptus leaves used looked a little dry in some pictures but in others looked nice and green.

Ashley is very responsive and made the entire process so easy. She was really awesome to work with and accommodated last minute boutonniere additions quickly. The majority of the flowers were gorgeous (corsages, bridesmaid bouquets and boutonnieres). Unfortunately, my bouquet did not turn out like I had envisioned. We discussed inspiration photos and examples were provided for a large cascading bouquet. However, on the day of, my bouquet arrived short and nothing like my examples. With the rush of the wedding day and getting ready, I wasn't able to really look over anything before they had left. I was disappointed in my bouquet but would still recommend them for your other wedding day floral needs. -

Floral Disappointment
My wedding was almost a month ago, and I've grappled with whether or not I should leave this review. However, I feel that I must share my honest experience with TR Floral. Firstly, my husband and I were engaged for two years and I planned our entire wedding. I booked all of our vendors about 1.5 - 2 years out. TR floral was one of them and had awesome reviews. I will say Ashley’s customer service was awesome and she responded quickly, and answered any questions I had. Also she updated the invoice with any changes I made with no issue (I had quite a few).
One of the most important florals on the invoice for me was the floral chandeliers. Long story short, I really wanted a floral chandelier to hang over the dancefloor, but the venue we booked didn't have any existing rigging points. So, the venue compromised and allowed me to hang florals/greenery from the existing chandeliers in the reception space. My husband and I increased our floral budget quite a bit so that I could have everything I envisioned on our wedding day.
The day of the wedding, I was greeted by a member of Ashley's team and was told she was out of town (later found out she was at another wedding). About 2 hours before the ceremony started my day-of-coordinator pulled me out of the bridal suite to tell me she had bad news. She stated that the florist opened the bag full of all the greenery required for the chandeliers, bar area, and antler reef and all of it was dead. My heart dropped and instantly had to fight to hold back tears. My coordinator did, however, try to comfort me and told me that I still had two options. Either a refund or that they could use a different type of greenery instead (ferns). I made it clear that a refund was not an option because these items were of the utmost importance to me and the florals I was the most excited to see come together on the wedding day. I confirmed that the ferns could be used instead. Also, I want to add that the floral team was nowhere to be found during this conversation and never offered an apology.
After receiving this news I decided I should probably take a look around the venue to insure that there were no other floral issues. Unfortunately, to my surprise it was not the only issue. I noticed some of the arrangements were starting to wilt, as if they were made way too far in advance. The florals that were provided for my cake and other statement florals were completely the wrong colors and did not go with my wedding colors (hot pinks and purples). I had clearly stated in emails that I only wanted white and soft pink florals. Sadly, though I was furious, I knew at this time there was nothing that could be done so I bit my tongue.
The ceremony was about to start and my bridal party and I were beginning to line up. As we walked out of the bridal suite into the reception area. I noticed nothing but a few pieces of wisteria hanging from the chandeliers, and the bar florals weren't what I expected as well. Truly felt like my florals were just thrown together, and the floral team was just trying to make something happen at this point. At the time, I figured they just hadn't finished yet, and were going to hang the ferns during the ceremony. When the reception started and my husband and I were finally introduced into the reception space I was extremely disappointed that not a single fern was added to any of the chandeliers, even though I was promised that in lieu of the dead greenery. Confused and overwhelmed with frustration and sadness I had to push through to still enjoy my wedding. Though all of the floral mistakes were an eyesore for my husband and I the whole night.
Again, I assumed that I would be hearing from Ashley to receive an explanation or an apology for the services/florals she did not provide. Three days after the wedding, I had to reach out to Ashley, while on my honeymoon, to express my disappointment and hurt. She did respond quickly and tried her best to find a resolution. She refunded me for the work she did not provide. However, as I expressed to her I will forever look back on my wedding day and be saddened by what was “supposed to be” and never happened. How I spent two years of over analyzing every detail, anxiously awaiting the big reveal of all of my hard work coming together. Sadly my wedding was not what I envisioned after 2 long years of planning, and I can't ever go back and redo my wedding day.
I truly trusted that TR Floral would provide everything that I paid for and bring my vision to life. To say I was underwhelmed with the florals is an understatement. Florals are a very important piece of any wedding, and there is no excuse for the issues that occurred on my wedding day. Arriving with dead greenery and wilting florals is unacceptable. Especially considering the thousands of dollars that were spent on them. No bride should ever experience the heartbreak that I felt the day of my wedding when it came to my florals.
I have provided pictures as well of what was on the invoice and what was actually provided the day of.
I know this is a long one but felt I needed to fully express my experience and explain my low rating. To future brides, I recommended finding a florist that is committed to you and your day only before booking. Or a florist that can handle more than one wedding in a day without cheating you or another bride out of what you paid for.
