Exceptional caterer for our wedding!

Amber, Lexi and the entire JDK team were awesome from start to finish!

We had an absolutely amazing wedding and weekend!

My husband and I loved having you guys be such a big part of the wedding! The food and service and efficiency and everything from start to finish was absolutely awesome! Communication was great, which is so important! We had so many compliments from other vendors as well as family and friends alike after the wedding day. We also loved that we found an extra whole meal of all of the components of our day in the fridge that we enjoyed a few days later! That was an awesome touch!

We tried to thank everyone on site and recognize the staff before they left on wedding day, but please pass along our sincerest thanks and appreciation for the amazing service and food! The wedding day was everything we had hoped for and then some!

Best caterer EVER

We had JDK Catering for our wedding on 5/28/26 and it was amazing! From the early planning stages through the year and up to/including the event they made sure we had everything we needed.

About 90 days before our wedding, JDK held an event for all their wedding couples. They had complimentary appetizers and entrees for everyone. The Executive chef had several buffet stations around the room and he tried to pick entrees that all the couples had on their menus. Plus, each couple had their own sweetheart table that was decorated in the theme of their wedding.

We worked with Sydnee and I could not recommend her enough. She was so accommodating and was there on our wedding day to ensure everything ran smoothly. No matter what silly questions I had, or when I had to email her a week before the wedding for some changes, she was always so sweet and responded quickly.

We were assigned a server to us for the entire night named Joanne, who was such a delight. She brought me appetizers to my bridal suite and made sure I was tucked in with napkins. She brought us cocktails while we took our photos and brought them for our wedding party as well. All night she would check in with us to make sure we had anything we needed/wanted. Half way through dinner she even brought us fresh drinks and insisted we were had to be spoiled. She was such a sweetheart! She even helped get a bug out of my dress during photos!

I also greatly appreciate how much the staff cared about allergies. I have a celiac bridesmaid, and they constantly checked in with her to make sure she had only gluten free items. The staff also went around to all our tables and asked if there were any allergies they weren't aware of.

When we went around the room to say hello to all our guests I only heard rave reviews from everyone about the food. Every single guest asked me who catered and I was more than happy to give them JDK's information. We could not be happier with the service we received.

Delicious!

We were told over and over again by many vendors and planners how amazing the food at JDK is! Let me tell you - they were right! The food was unbelievable and still has my guests talking about it! The buttermilk chicken breast was to die for. They also nailed my hors d'oeuvres preferences - grilled cheese bar and pierogi station! And the night was complete with our build-your-own ice cream station. The service was impeccable and the staff was all so kind. Even the bartenders were fantastic and did amazing jobs with our signature drinks and beyond. I will say that we went over budget with JDK but don't regret it one bit - we absolutely got the delicious food and quality service that we paid for.

The best day of my life

JDK is the reason my wedding was the best day of my life. I hired JDK's venue, catering, and florals team and they handled EVERYTHING. The venue (The Bond) was beautiful, the florals were stunning, and the food was unmatched. Lexi was our event producer and she was so lovely and excellent throughout the ENTIRE process (even before I hired the JDK team). She was so patient with me and provided thoughtful suggestions as we went on. Colton & Brooke's floral team enhanced the space, was cohesive, and EXACTLY what I was looking for. I was even taking photos and I took a photo with my bouquet and without, and my overall look was visibly elevated by the flowers. I gave them an idea of what I was looking for and they not only executed my vision but exceeded it. Overall, all of the JDK teams I worked with were so professional, efficient, and amazing at their jobs. I trusted their team and knew everything would be taken care of. I had 0 stress the day of the wedding because I knew I had the JDK behind me.

The most amazing experience. I was beyond happy with my table center pieces and the food. I picked JDK for flowers and catering.

The flowers were fresh and just what i was looking for. The center pieces consisted of baby's breath and candles. Beyond beautiful. The food was amazing.

Wedding 4/18/25

Let me start with Tara, she was the one who I mostly worked with through this entire wedding process. JDK was the 3rd catering tasting we had and boy did they knock it out of the park. Tara sat with us to go over each individual detail to make sure it was everything we wanted, and the service from the chef during our tasting was phenomenal. (We had one more tasting already set up after our JDK experience and wow we had high expectations, the decision wasn’t even a question to choose JDK. Tara reached out to me more than enough times throughout the last year to perfect everything. She is so kind, caring, helpful and really makes you feel like you’re leaving your wedding day in good hands. To the bartender and the kitchen crew, my guests cannot express enough how amazing the food and service was. They were kept fed, hydrated and happy. I would give Tara, and the entire JDK crew 200/100 stars. Thank you JDK!!

The BEST team!

JDK Catering and Events exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding day. We cannot thank them enough for all the time and effort the whole team put in to make our day absolutely magical. Abby was always available to answer any and all of our questions throughout the planning process and helped us plan every part the day. She was with us every step from initially booking to the wedding day ensuring the day ran as smoothly as possible without any issues. Brooke and her team made our floral vision come to life exactly how we envisioned it. She was always so prompt with answering my emails and making any last minute changes that we wanted. Best vendor decision we made!

The JDK Group was our best vendor decision we made during our wedding planning process. We have had so many of our guests tell us on our wedding day, and continue to reach out to us that our wedding was the best wedding they have been to. So much of these comments, were because of the JDK Group. We worked with Lexi, and she truly made our wedding perfect. She listened to what we wanted out of our day, what was most important to us, and what was not top priority. She revisited pieces that we brought up in our initial meeting later on in the process to ensure all of our details were taken care of. We worked hand in hand with JDK for both food and flowers. Lexi and Colton (with JDK florals) were able to have meetings together, which really helped us as we were traveling out of town. We gave them a few words, a few pinterest photos we liked, and some colors. We walked into our detail meeting (which was so helpful to have together with both catering and florals), and together they created the most beautiful place setting options that we could see in person. The cohesive design for both catering and florals was more helpful than I knew.Lexi stepped away from the process for maternity leave (congratulations Lexi!!). We started to work with Ashley from JDK, and Ashley never missed a beat. It felt like we never changed event specialists because of their communication. Ashley was so thorough and made us feel 100% confident and comfortable with the rest of the planning process. She took the details that we discussed with Lexi and made our wedding day happen. Our wedding day was perfect. Because of our planning process with JDK, we had full trust in their team. From arriving to the venue until we left on the bus, we had the best day. Shannon was the staff lead made our wedding day happen. The transitions from ceremony beverages as guests arrived, to cocktail hour, to dinner, to late night snacks all happened without us even thinking about it, because of Shannon. All the details that we had shared with Lexi and Ashley happened for our guests because of Shannon and her staff team. Sandy was the staff member who took care of my husband and me. She greeted us at the end of the aisle with our favorite beverages, communicated with us throughout the day to ensure we were taken care of, and even ensured our parents were happy. It was important to us that my grandparents didn’t need to visit the bar, and we communicated that with Lexi and her team. Not only did my grandparents never visit the bar, but Lexi and Ashley understood the importance and ensured that neither of our parents did either. The entire staff team was beyond wonderful. The bartenders were provided by JDK. We wanted flavored Moscow mules, and my goodness were they delicious. The setup at cocktail hour and dinner was perfect, and we never saw a line at the bar. When we booked vendors, we booked them for our wedding day. But we really booked them for the entire process leading up to the day. JDK was a vendor that checked in on us, listened to us, and one that we went to for overall wedding planning advice because of their expertise. Thank you to Lexi, Ashley and the entire JDK team for making our wedding perfect and one that we will continue to reminisce on forever.

JDK is the best of the best!

The JDK provided the food, florals and rentals for our wedding this weekend and exceeded every single expectation. The team (Tara, Colton, and everyone else) was a master of their craft. We hosted a 72-person wedding that featured a 5-course tasting menu centered around personalized menu that tasted like a Michelin Star restaurant. The service and team were professional, friendly and made the day so enjoyable by handling every detail. I cannot recommend JDK enough!

Beautiful wedding

We chose to have our daughters wedding in our back yard. JDK created a beautiful meal for our guests. We have had so many friends and family reach out about how amazing and hot their meal was at he reception. Tara was great to work with, and we would use them again for any event. Stop Shopping Around—JDK is IT.

Picture it: January 20th, 2024. I stumble my way out if the cold and into the King Mansion in Harriaburg, PA, with a chill in my bones and a wild request. Due to a very happy but very unexpected chain of events, my (now) husband (!!!) had to relocate for a job and our wedding planning timeline was reduced to 3.5 MONTHS.

But, for JDK, this was no problem. Abby LaBar, Brooke Maier, and the entire team executed our day with nothing but professionalism, kindness, and a level of panache that is, frankly, unmatched. The food? Incredible. The bar? Spectacular. When gusts of wind threatened to rip the veil from my head and send it sailing over the Susquehanna, I had no fewer than FOUR people blocking me from the wind and making sure I didn't get Dorothy Gale'd into the stratosphere and become a tragic (but funny) story on the 6 o'clock news.

Over all, I cannot say enough good about my experience working with JDK, and my wedding day was absolutely wonderful because of their hard work!

Delicious food and Amazing team!

JDK was incredible to work with, and not only that but the food was incredible. We decided to go with a dual entrée, Beef Tenderloin and the Fried Chicken... yes you heard that right! Both were INCREDIBLE! All our guests made it known to us that it was one of the best wedding dinners they have had. The staff was great on our day, my husband and I did not go a minute without food or drinks being offered to us. Which was super helpful running around!

What really stood out about JDK was my main contact, Lexi Leech. I was in contact with JDK a long time since I booked my wedding early so I had so many questions and my mind changed about 100 times before my actual wedding. Lexi Leech was there for it all, she was prompt, kind and flexible. She showed me numerous options, and truly seemed to care about making my day what I hoped for. My day would not have been as beautiful and perfect without her help.

Wedding Catering and so much more!

My wife and I booked The JDK Group to cater our wedding and it was such an amazing decision! We worked with Ashley and she helped us with EVERYTHING! Ashley helped us pick out some of the best food we've ever had. From first contact, to the tasting event, to picking our wedding food and place settings, and most importantly, the big day: Ashley made sure everything was PERFECT. The entire experience was absolutely perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better catering company, and catering specialist, for our wedding. Ashley was such an amazing and kind person who helped in any way she could, even for things not related to catering. If you are on the fence about JDK, book them! You will not regret it.

JDK creates delicious food with perfect service!

JDK helped to create an amazing wedding weekend for me and my wife! They catered our rehearsal dinner / cocktail hour and reception all at an offsite venue and everything was to die for! Tara helped us plan everything to make for a flawless event. She helped us build out an amazingly personalized menu and helped us adjust after meeting the team at one of their tastings. During the weekend Todd made sure everything ran perfect and is great to deal with. The rest of the staff was the absolute definition of professional and attentive. I wish I got more names to personally thank them. But I highly recommend JDK if you want a wedding where the food is delicious, memorable and the staff will ensure everything runs perfectly!

Colton was wonderful!!

Colton and his team did an amazing job with our wedding florals! Colton was very easy to work with, flexible and personable. He was patient with my ever-changing mind and really saw my vision and ran with it. The florals were absolutely stunning and better than I could have ever envisioned! Excellent all around!

Yum! We were married three months ago and we’re still getting compliments from our guests about how good the food was. We knew JDK had a great reputation and we were excited to select them for our wedding - their proposal was really straightforward and told you exactly what you were paying for which we know is not always the case with caterers. The servers and bartenders were also absolute gems, as was Lexi who we primarily worked with to plan the menu and other details. In addition to the truly delicious food, we also appreciated some of the little touches they added - when we came down the stairs after the ceremony, a server was there with two glasses of champagne and a small tray of hors devours that we took with us back to the bridal suite during a quiet moment before the cocktail hour. Overall, we had a great experience and would (and have!) recommended JDK to other couples.

Our Food was Amazing

We chose a JDK wedding venue, so they were our caterers. We chose to have dinner stations and ended up with a chef assisted pasta station, make-your-own taco station, make-your-own cheesesteak station, and a salad station. Everything was so good. Our guests enjoyed going to eat whatever food they wanted (and could get seconds and thirds of) everyone told me they loved everything they tried. I definitely recommend JDK.

Beyond Expectations

We had nothing short of an amazing experience with Lexi and the JDK group/decorative group. Our guest are still raving about the 5 star quality of food: everything was cooked to perfection, along with the beautiful decor and attentiveness to details and designs.
We ordered the short ribs and salmon as the main dish and the Beef melted in your mouth with the blue cheese accompaniment that was to die for!. Salmon was spot on!.
The decor was beyond how we envisioned it: simple, eloquent and the attention to detail with design was sport on.
Lexi (head coordinator of JDK) was very flexible, accommodating and a simple joy to work with through out our whole process. The entire JDK crew went above and beyond expectations. Special shout out the the Head of the JDK catering crew at our wedding at The Booking House 10/1/22: We learned afterwards you discovered one of our guest had allergies we were not aware of, and you went out of your way to help them with having staff specifically accommodate them with there food choices. We can't say how much we were touched by that attentiveness.
Thank you everyone who played a part of our special day and going above and beyond. You really made our wedding day beyond special and everything we could of dreamed of.

We could not speak more highly of JDK. JDK catered our wedding reception at the Historic King Mansion. We had a bit of an unusual request- instead of a seated dinner, we had passed and stationed hors d’oeuvres and food stations for dinner. Julianna was amazing in helping us realize our not-so-traditional vision. She was with us every step of the way, was prompt about responding to calls and emails, and kept all the trains running on time day of the wedding. We love Julianna! The food was amazing and our guests raved about everything! The favorites were the chicken and waffle cone appetizer and the flank steak, which was part of the carving station. We also cannot speak more highly of the entire staff. When we arrived at the reception, my husband and I asked for a few minutes alone before we greeted guests. JDK had a plate of appetizers and glasses of champagne waiting for us in the bridal suite. We had servers making sure we were taken care of throughout the night. Highly recommend JDK!

JDK also did our floral designs for both the church and our reception space at the King Mansion. Colton was amazing to communicate with leading up to the wedding. He responded almost immediately to every email that I sent to him. He also reviewed all of the pictures I sent in preparing and adjusting our quote. The day of, Stephanie did a fantastic job! Our vision came to life, both at the church for our ceremony and at the reception space. The bouquets and boutonnières were exactly what I wanted and definitely enhanced our photos. The centerpieces were stunning and we received so many compliments on everything.

High Quality Food & Florals

Colton and his team did an AMAZING job with our wedding florals at The Bond in York, PA - the pops of color and touches of boho, all within a moody and romantic palette, was executed perfectly. I definitely wanted some color brought to the gray industrial space, with but with a relaxed elegance. We really couldn't be happier with the tone the florals set in the reception space. Our ceremony florals were equally as gorgeous, delivered to St. Joseph's in York, PA. I planned my wedding from afar, and Colton was so easy to work with - spot on, very professional, and the florals/design was affordable. Our JDK venue coordinator, Lexi, was incredibly helpful after a staffing transition - she swooped in about two months before the wedding and helped place the finishing touches on our design, including finalizing our linen colors, ordering chargers and velvet napkins. It was so helpful to have JDK handle those rentals instead of outsourcing another vendor myself. Lexi was thorough and made sure our personal decor was set up perfectly at the venue. Our ceremony was offsite, so it was such a relief to arrive at The Bond and have everything set up and looking gorgeous. I finally want to note that the food is fantastic - our guests are still raving about the brussel sprout lollipop butlered hors d'oeuvres, the handmade guacamole station at cocktail hour, and our margarita signature cocktail. The venue, food and esthetic did not disappoint! Highly recommend JDK Catering and Weddings by JDK for your wedding at The Bond or elsewhere!

Amazing work by Weddings by JDK

We were extremely satisfied with the service of Weddings by JDK for our wedding at the Farm at Eagles Ridge in Lancaster PA. Molly in particular was just so great and she was truly so easy to work and communicate with. She helped custom-tailored our menu to fit our vision perfectly. Our guests raved about the food for both cocktail hour and reception. The staff was wonderful on the day of the wedding and always kept us fed.

Extremely impressed

Wow! From the start I knew I didn’t have to look any further for our wedding caterer. Lexi kept in touch with me every step of the way and answered my million questions in a very timely manner during the planning process. We were drawn to them because they offer a Raclette station (hard to find). When we tasted the food, we were blown away. It was the best tenderloin I’ve EVER eaten. During our event, we were extremely pleased with how efficient the staff were. The staff members ensured we had anything we needed. The bartender was very kind. They offered to bring decor for their tables, and even worked to help the other vendors! Would 10/10 recommend

September Wedding at King Mansion

We worked with Abby (Planner) and Colton (Florist) for our September 2021 wedding at King Mansion. I can not say enough good things about this fabulous and professional team. As with many pandemic era weddings, there were many bumbs (postponement, last minute ceremony venue change, self imposed COVID requirements, etc.) Both Abby and Colton went above and beyond in their respective areas to ensure our wedding day was beautiful and well executed.

And it goes without saying, JDK’s food is unmatched and their catering staff well trained.

Winter wedding

The JDK team, especially Molly, exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Molly and I were in contact for two years planning my dream wedding. Being a super type A planner, my standards were set pretty high. I came to the first meeting with a list of questions and Molly patiently walked me through every little thing putting me at ease. The food, OMG, there are no words. Our guests are still raving about everything a few weeks after the wedding. The JDK team was beyond reproach the day of our wedding. They were attentive to our guests and us! We left the ceremony to have a customized plate of appetizers and beverages brought to us before we went into cocktail hour. The added decor that the team brought was beautiful. Molly took the time to look through my pinterest page to make sure my vision came to life. I wish I could do it all over again! JDK is the best company and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

The Best!!

I cannot say enough great things about JDK and their team. We worked specifically with Molly through the whole process and she was amazing!! Molly was so responsive, detailed, organized, and so flexible when we asked to meet in person or over the phone. She made sure to answer all of my questions thoroughly and made sure we had everything in order before the big day! The food was amazing and JDK goes above and beyond to meet your needs. Absolutely top-notch from our initial
Conversation with JDK up through, and even after, the wedding day. We used JDK weddings for catering and floral design.Molly U (catering) and her team executed our wedding vision above and beyond what we ever thought was possible! We had so many guests come up to us and comment it was the best and most beautiful wedding they had been to. The JDK catering team accommodated very last minute extending the cocktail hour. Molly and her staff were attentive, extremely detail oriented, professional, and just an all-around joy to work with. We cannot recommend them enough!

Colton and the JDK floral team absolutely knocked it out of the park! Colton was so accommodating after I had changed my floral visions for the wedding day a few months prior. He was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I was blown away by the attention to detail. He and his team were amazing at repurposing the florals and working within our budget to create truly spectacular arrangements. The florals were one of my favorite elements of our big day. I can not recommend Colton and his team enough.

Wow wow wow!

The Bond is an absolutely BREATHTAKING venue & exactly what I was looking for when I was trying to find the perfect industrial venue. The space is perfect for any size wedding and easy for guests to navigate around! You also get MORE out of the venue with all of the beautiful murals in the surrounding area. Besides what you can easily see - working with The Bond/JDK Team was nothing short of a phenomenal experience. Emma is an absolute ANGEL jumping in as our coordinator right as things started to re-open and right from the start she was completely on top of everything. I know how crazy busy the wedding industry is right now but Emma made me feel like the most important bride every time we spoke. She listened to every detail and made sure to keep in constant communication on her end. Emma we will forever be grateful for all of your hard work and dedication to our wedding day & making it the most PERFECT day ever!! We also have to give a shoutout to Jamie & Sam from JDK! I met with Jamie for our final details meeting and she & Sam helped run our rehearsal. They were the sweetest gals to work with and the same thing as Emma made us feel like we were the most important couple in the moment, giving us 100% of their energy to help pull off our vision. Jamie even texted me one week out just to say happy wedding week! Sam was there setting up when we arrived and made sure to take care of absolutely everything and helped Danielle, our coordinator, make everything look perfect. I will never be able to thank them enough for everything they did! And the service/FOOD OH.MY.GOODNESS.....I am drooling at the memory of our wedding food. I don't think there was/is ONE person who could say anything but amazing things about dinner. The consistent line we keep hearing is "that was the best wedding food I've ever eaten...not even just wedding food...FOOD in general!!" Molly and her team at JDK are simply the best! We are so happy we chose them for our wedding day. Throughout our entire wedding planning process they were responsive and literally catered to all of our needs. Everything the day of our wedding was exactly as planned thanks to Molly orchestrating everything. She went above and beyond her role, even adding extra decor to enhance displays. Just amazing!

We hired JDK for catering and florals and it was the best decision ever!! Food was absolutely delicious and the floral arrangements were so beautiful! Forever grateful for Abby and her team of amazing people! Abby was such a huge help from the very start. She was responsive and patient throughout the entire year of back and forth emails. This was the first wedding of our venue so there were a lot of unknowns and firsts but nobody would have known. They did such an incredible job adapting and preparing for our day and it really showed. It was perfect. The food was incredible - we received many praises on the food - and the JDK team was professional and dedicated to their work but also very fun which we loved! A huge thanks to Abby and her JDK team for making our magical wedding weekend a dream come true. Colton’s floral arrangements and displays were AMAZING! I am seriously so amazed at his work. It was exactly how I imagined and beyond expectations. It was such a pleasure working with Colton - he is so positive and fun to talk too. When we were looking for a caterer for our wedding, every other vendor in the area recommended JDK, so we knew we had to go with them! After visiting JDK’s Camp Hill office and meeting with Molly, we decided to hire JDK for both catering and florals/design — best decision ever! Everything turned out even better than we expected! Molly and Colton were so helpful and amazing to work with. Anything we asked for, they made happen. Every little detail was perfect, and our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was! Working with Molly and the JDK team was one of the best decisions we made! We always intended to have a longer engagement and booked JDK in 2019 for our April 2021 wedding. Over the course of the next couple years, Molly helped us more than we could ever imagine with planning out the details of our meal as well as the flow of the evening. She was always available for any questions or concerns, especially during this past year of uncertainty in the pandemic. The JDK team was extremely professional and the service was impeccable. The Best of the Best

My husband and I got married on July 25th, 2020 at Allenberry Resort. Trying to plan a wedding amidst a pandemic is stressful to say the least, but our coordinator Molly and the rest of the JDK group could not have been easier to work with. Molly kept us in the loop with any new developments and changes, and did everything they could to make sure we had the perfect day. Not only was it extremely hot that day, but it poured a couple of hours before our ceremony. Right when it finished raining JDK was out there drying off chairs and provided water to our guests before the stsrt of the ceremony. We had barely finished walking up the aisle after saying our vows and JDK was standing there waiting to hand us our drink of choice. The whole night could not have been run more smoothly. Guests were seamlessly moved from the ceremony space to cocktail hour to the reception space.
Even an unexpected last minute change didn't perturb Molly, and she quickly handled our request. Everything was decorated beautifully and the food was superb. It is definitely not your typical wedding food! We still have people telling us what a great time they had at our wedding. My husband and I truly felt so spoiled by both JDK and Allenberry. Everyone did everything they could to still make sure that we had the perfect day amidst a pandemic. We could not have been more pleased with our day!

Must have for your wedding day

JDK Catering was more than I could have imagined. The food was delicious. We had so many guests come up to me and say when they go to weddings, they expect subpar food, and they were shocked at the quality of food with JDK. Due to Covid, our contact person switched in the middle of planning and Emmalee was able to jump in and pick up right where the previous staff member had let off. She kept me updated with Covid related protocols and made Covid not affect our day! The staff was professional and amazing! The bartenders were friendly and quick! Susan is a must have for your wedding. She was in charge of making sure my groom and I had drinks all throughout the night and she also made sure we ate throughout the night. She had two drinks waiting for us as we left the aisle and she never let us down the whole night! I cannot recommend JDK enough!

A dream come true

We had to find a new caterer when we changed our big wedding to a small “micro” wedding due to COVID-19. We were nervous about all the changes but JDK came highly recommended by our planner. From the moment we met Molly on their team we had such an incredible feeling about everything. JDK worked so wonderfully with all our other vendors and frankly went above and beyond the role of just a catering company. They accommodated all of our requests and needs without hesitation from day 1. They truly care and take great pride in their work. Our families could not and still cannot stop talking about how incredible the food was at our “micro wedding”. And my vegetarian meal was incredible. We can’t be more grateful for JDK helping us have the most absolutely breathtaking and unforgettable night.

Wedding of my dreams

My husband and I married on 2/22/20 at The Bond. We had our catering through JDK and the food was AMAZING, the best wedding food I have ever had. That comment has also been repeated by our guests.

We had our floral done through JDK by Colton as well, and again beautiful. Every space in the venue was touched with magic and was beautiful.

Our venue coordinator changed last minute due to staffing changes which was incredibly stressful. However, our new coordinator Molly came with her boss Abby and Colton the very next day and new our wedding plans better than we did all a week before our wedding. The entire night went flawlessly.

There are details that were thought of by JDK that could not have come across my Pinterest crazy controlling bride brain! I had a staff member Juliana following me around with food and drinks during cocktail hour and pictures. She made me feel like a princess. Also, every single staff member at our venue spoke to me. Anytime a staff member passed by my husband and I they would say something encouraging or offer help. While my family was busy partying the big boss was helping me bustle my dress; and she was happy to do it.

The Bond itself is a blank industrial chic canvas and should be considered highly for any bride and groom to get married in. It is easy with the bridal suits, cocktail area, ceremony spot, and reception space. One stop shop with JDK.

Hearts are Overflowing!

Our hearts are still overflowing with gratitude for the entire JDK team! We have struggled for months to try and find the words to properly display how grateful we are and the incredible work they did to make our wedding more than we could ever dream of. Months later, and our family and friends are still exclaiming how it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to - from the design and details to the delectable food and service, everything completely exceeded every expectation!

This magic created was not just reserved to the day itself. The entire process of working closely with their team was a stress-free dream. Being in the event industry myself, I thought I had an inkling of certain things to expect that I could take care of, but I was wrong. Getting to work closely with Molly was the greatest blessing I could hope for. She took so much pressure and stress off my plate by guiding me through every detail and coordinating how all of the moving parts of our celebration were going to coincide. We threw in a little challenge by having our ceremony and intimate dinner with just family in one location and then a vibrant dancing reception afterwards at a house we rented on Air BnB. We wanted to have different styled menus in each location that would relate to the guests that would be attending those different functions. Molly helped walk us through different options and provided guidance on what might go over well in those different locations based on the vibe we were going for. We were so appreciative of these suggestions and they all went over very well with our guests!

The service was welcoming and top notch. All of the staff were so welcoming, professional and personable with our family and friends. Despite the wind and cold temperatures that day, we never saw a smile leave their faces! We even had a special team of servers follow us with food and beverages during photos after the ceremony - that meant even following us into the depths of the Caverns we got married at where we were taking photos. Several guests commented on how helpful and kind all of the servers, chefs, and bartenders were. And we have to make sure to provide a huge shout out to their hard working rental team and the endurance of everyone on setup! Our ceremony was setup outside the entrance into a cavern and to get there you had to trek down 71 steps - that meant that their rental and setup team had to trek up and down these 71 steps many times to setup and breakdown this area. Again, despite this additional physical challenge we faced them with, smiles continued on everyone’s faces!

And the food! Numerous guests have asked for recipes of multiple items on our menu - I swear the roasted cauliflower soup is going to go down in history as a top favorite with our family based on how many comments we heard about how delightful it was! We cannot remember how many times we heard, “This is some of the best food we’ve ever had!”
We have a feeling these comments will continue for years to come! We are eternally grateful to the entire JDK team for their constant support through the planning journey and making our wedding day one of the best days of our lives!

Delicious Food

Amazing service all around

We used JDK for our catering, florals, and event design. Everyone that we worked with was overly accommodating and helped to create everything that we could have ever imagined for our wedding day. Emma made every change and addition asked of her by myself and my parents, down to the very last minute before the wedding. The food was outstanding and some of our guests even mentioned "life changing." Colton truly listened to each and every detail that we wanted and created a design that was rustic yet elegant, warm and cozy yet classic. JDK did an amazing job with our 175 person wedding!

We hired JDK after our previous caterer went bankrupt and left us high and dry. We were hesitant to trust another caterer, but JDK alleviated our fears almost immediately! They did everything they could to accommodate our needs and make up for all that we had been through. Through the entire planning process Lexi and her staff were extremely thorough and flexible, they changed the menu numerous times as our preferences changed and we figured out exactly what we wanted. Lexi constantly offered suggestions and solutions to meet our needs and also make sure everything would logistically work the day of the wedding. We were very relieved and excited to be working with JDK before the tasting, but after the tasting we were over the moon! Their food is DELICIOUS, UNIQUE, AND APPEALING! The day of the wedding the food was just as good, even though they were serving 175 people! The service was excellent and the staff was attentive to our every need!! Our guests raved about how good the food was and how many unique varieties there were! I had asked JDK to serve dinner during speeches so that we could hurry things along to have plenty of time to dance, and I was shocked at how quiet and professional they were able to get the dinner out to our guests. We couldn’t be happier that we chose JDK to cater our wedding and I thoroughly enjoyed working with them through the entire process!!!

Wedding 8/10/19 - Definitely Recommend!

JDK was amazing! In planning for our wedding, we knew people remembered the food they ate (for better or worse) at a wedding and we wanted to prioritize that. We couldn't have asked for better! The food was delicious. We received so many compliments from our guests. From the food to the staff, everything was flawless! They were very accommodating with two tastings beforehand until we got what we wanted. The quality of the food did not disappoint. The appetizers were flying off of the trays and the combo steak/fish plated dinner was perfect. They made sure we had drinks in our hand throughout the evening and even kept our food warm (bride and groom) while we were taking pictures. They left us a "take-out" bag with two of everything including our appetizers/dinner and cake for us for the next day!!! We worked mostly with Megan and she made it very easy to move forward and make our wedding a hit! They were awesome and we would definitely use JDK again in the future for another event!

Best day ever!

JDK was pleasant and easy to work with from the start. They were all incredibly organized and took care of all my many questions and concerns. We worked primarily with Lexi, and she was the greatest! She listened to everything we had to say and ensured that our big day would run smoothly. Lexi and Mary were on site for the big day and they followed through on everything. Decorations were executed flawlessly; everyone knew what was going on and where to be and both my family members and wedding party were taken well care of in addition to us! The setup and cleanup were a huge selling point for us booking JDK, and they did not disappoint. The food was amazing, and guests RAVED about delicious everything was. We couldn’t have pictured our big day going any better, and that is thanks to all those from JDK working as hard as they did!

Absolutely incredible work!

Colton and his team at JDK exceeded every one of our floral and design expectations for our December wedding. If we had to identify a single best decision in the wedding planning process, it was hiring JDK. From our very first meeting, it was obvious not only that Colton knows his stuff and is passionate about his work, but more importantly that he truly cared about understanding and achieving our vision. We had a very general idea of what we wanted -- an intimate, candle-lit, evening Christmas wedding -- and Colton listened carefully to our ideas, asked questions to pull out opinions and preferences that we wouldn't have thought to offer, and worked with us to generate a proposal within our budget. The end result was incredible. The winter-inspired bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces were stunning. The custom arbor for the ceremony brought tears to my eyes. And when my husband and I first entered the pavilion at our venue for our own private sneak peek of the reception space, our breath was taken away. The team even added finishing touches that we didn't know we needed (delicate string lighting to enhance the centerpieces and the bouquets on the head table, for example), which pulled all of the elements together. We kept saying that the night was like a dream, and our guests have raved that it was the most beautiful wedding they've ever attended. I cannot thank Colton and JDK enough for making our wedding day so perfect. And I can't wait to plan another event with this team. Hire JDK -- you will not regret it!

November Wedding at Historic Ashland

We used JDK for catering and decorations and will never be able to fully express how incredible they are! Molly and Colton were so enthusiastic, organized, encouraging, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. Not only did they perfectly execute everything we wanted, they added beautiful touches that we didn't know we needed! We were blown away by how thoughtful and flexible they were every step of the way. So many of our guests commented on how perfect our wedding was, and to be honest, it would have never been that way without their expertise! It can be so hard to relinquish some control over such an important day, but we never once worried. They are the epitome if professionals, and we highly recommend their services to any other bride and groom!

I can't say enough great things about JDK! We worked with David and Molly to plan the catering for our wedding. The communication was great from the beginning. All of my questions and concerns were addressed in a very timely manner so I was never left stressing about the details. They took care of so much more than just the food. We were really blown away at how much planning and extras were put into our day. The staff that was at the wedding was also fantastic. One stop shop for all your wedding needs!

My husband and I went with JDK for catering as well as flowers. They really were a one-stop shop! It made planning our wedding so much easier, especially since we did not hire a planner and did everything on our own. We worked with Emma and Lexi for food and drinks. They really helped with the planning process! They were prompt to answer any questions we had and did annual phone calls to check up on us which was very helpful. The food was delicious. Our guests loved our unique menu and I still dream about our food from that day. JDK went above and beyond (Lexi even ran out to pick up razors for my husband the morning of) and I could not rave about them enough!

Fantastic!

I was blown away by how great the food was. We kept getting compliments on how delicious everything was, from the hors d’oeuvres to the main course and the cocktails were blended so well! The beef was by far the best option on the menu. The braised beef on mini potatoes and the cordon bleu bites were practically heaven. Overall we were thrilled to have them. The staff was beyond professional and worked well together in making our special day go off without any issues.

It was truly a pleasure to work with David and Molly from WBJDK from the start and they helped to make everything about our wedding day absolutely perfect. I appreciate all of their advice and suggestions they provided me with throughout all of the planning. They really take the time to get to know you as individuals and also as a couple to help you really envision your dream day. I still remember sitting down with David the first time and he asked me some random questions about my style/home decor, etc. I knew from the start that he is the best at what he does and I had no doubts about working with him to make all of our wedding dreams come true. There really are not enough thank you's for us to truly show our gratitude for all that WBJDK have done. THE BEST! Molly and Colton! Dream Team! We planned a wedding at a newish venue at the King Mansion on Front Street in Harrisburg. Molly (from JDK) and Michelle (from the Historic King Mansion) were sooo helpful. We met Molly on a chilly day in March and married on a stunning day in Oct '18. Then menu options are really fun and most importantly the food was soooo good! I'm a chef at at private club and have done over 30 weddings myself so I had high expectations. Our tasting was in July at their Camp Hill location. The hors douvres were great as well as our surf and turf. The chef was open to adjusting our vegetable and was friendly to work with. They were also happy to note important allergies and special requests for my mother. They also do kids food that was attractive and adorable!!! During our tasting, we also discussed linens, chairs, bar set up ect. I really, really enjoyed working with them, they really do take care of so many details!
Flowers!! We also met with Colton from JDK while we were there. He is so great. We had trouble nailing down our color scheme and was he was so pleasant and helpful. My bouquet was stunning!! He made beautiful flower crowns for our flower girls as well as corsages for the moms and our nieces and boutonnières for our dads and nephews. When we arrived at the mansion, he had everything neatly packaged and carefully labeled to avoid any confusion. He is a true professional.
They also provide you with a list of suggested vendors. We used the list to secure Mixed up Productions for our DJ and Couture Cakery for our cake. We chose a different photographer and we are thrilled. Jenna Brianne is great!
We are forever grateful to Molly, Colton and the team at JDK catering!!!!! They are the BEST!

I hired JDK for catering and florals and couldn't be happier with both. Emma was so helpful during the planning process in getting me organized, and on the day of the crew helped me set everything up, which was the only way we got it all ready in time. Everything was set up beautifully, and my guests were all raving about the food! I've been to so many weddings where the food was subpar, but the food from JDK was a huge hit! And Colton did an amazing job with the flowers - I absolutely loved them! I never wanted to put my bouquet down - I even took it to my after party! I didn't have any specific requests for the flowers, so I just gave Colton my color scheme and some inspiration photos that I liked, and he created something completely magical. I cannot begin to express the gratitude I have for the wedding that David's and team at JDK produced for me and my husband. It was by far the best day of our lives. My wedding vision was completely manifested into reality and in large part thanks to the dedication JDK showed towards us. David was so responsive, understanding, and genuinely excited to be a part of our day. It makes a world of a difference when you have vendors that you actually enjoy being around and working with and we had such a fun relationship with him and his team. As soon as our guests arrived to the reception venue, our guests were greeted by JDK servers with our signature cocktail and appetizers so guests didn't have to worry about finding the bar or food station. As soon as my husband and I and the whole bridal party arrived to the cocktail hour, we were instantly fed and handed drinks. Waited on hand and foot! David personally made sure I ate throughout the night. The food was incredible. The service was so professional. They hold themselves to a very high level of quality and it showed time and again. I deeply wish that I could give a million plus stars for JDK and team! They were truly remarkable beyond words! I have been working overseas and my mom was the one to find a caterer for my wedding in the area where my fiance lived- about 2.5 hours from my mom's house and in an area that she had no idea about. She was only successful because of David and team's willingness, communication and complete professional yet personal nature. My fiance and I were planning a 9am brunch wedding in the middle of a field and JDK caught the vision and grew excitement with each conversation to make our wedding beyond what I could even dream! Starting at the initial communication point and all the planning, changes, challenges- nothing became too much for the team. David was a true joy to communicate with and work alongside. I am so grateful for how he made us feel so personally cared for throughout the whole planning process. David came out to our venue to talk over things and help envision and prepare for our wedding day- he went through every detail and it was amazing! We had the tasting and it also blew us away! The setup and the food were so good and the chef worked with us to make the food what we wanted! We also appreciated how David worked with his staff as a team and he seemed to really respect them and work well together.
Then when it came to the final implementation, it was beyond perfect- I could have burst, it was so so lovely! The staff was so kind and helpful and professional. The wedding guests commented to me about how they found the catering staff to be so helpful and kind. My wedding would not have been what it was without the hard work and support of JDK team. There was nono stress on me, my family or wedding party because David's team was on time, organized and professional. While it’s hard to put into words how completely satisfied we were with JDK for our daughter’s wedding, and in particular David Everett but I will try. From the moment David and I spoke on the phone, without even meeting, I knew he was the one. David is a visionary, a perfectionist and truly the best of the best. He became not only our caterer, but helped guide us at every turns and was available every time we needed him. He cared about our wedding as if it was his own daughter’s. The night before the wedding, we had a serious family medical emergency withy father and having David facilitate the wedding day, allowed me to not stress or worry but most importantly, focus on the most important thing of the day, my daughter. I knew he would be sure everything was exactly how it should be and not only am I and my husband beyond happy with his services ((along with his amazing, hard working staff ) but I feel I made a forever friend. He was there every step of the way on what will forever be one of the most special days of our lives. And oh yes the food... simply amazing. If you are looking for an elegant, fine dining experience for your family & friends, this is the caterer for you. The minute the speaches & prayer was made, the salad were served. The filet and salmon were amazing, everyone raved over the extensive hor’dorves during cocktail hour and all this was created under a tent for over 200 people at the beautiful Moonstone Manor. Booking JDK as our caterer for our wedding was the best decision we could have made! We sampled a few caterers in the region who all served high quality food, but made the decision to go with JDK because of the polished quality they bring to their events. They do not simply cater delicious food, but also contribute to the overall feel of your wedding according to your vision. We hardly had to bring any decor ourselves because they were able to provide all candles and other decor items that perfectly fit our vision. Even our geometric centerpieces came from JDK! The finesse of the decor (so many small touches) and professionalism of the staff are unparalleled. The hor d’oeuvres and entrees were all simply delicious and we received so many compliments about the food. It was not your mediocre surf and turf but high quality and TASTY food. Our signature cocktail Peachberry Mojito was a hit too!

We worked with Emma and Sarah, who were very organized, helpful and communicative.

We also highly recommend booking your florals through JDK. While it is a separate contract, the departments worked seamlessly together and there were many extra flowers thrown in here and there. Erika (florist) was immediately able to grasp our floral vision after just one meeting and was upfront about cost with us. Our bouquets and the floral decor at the church and reception looked magical, and all within our budget!

I worked with David and JDK Group for a recent wedding in Mifflinburg, PA at One Barn Farm, and I must say the service, from corresponding through wedding planning, to the week and day of the wedding, David and his team truly blew myself and my team away. I am a wedding planner based in NYC and of course we hold our events to an extremely high standard with the constant pressure to make each event even more perfect than the last. Well I had 0 stress when working with David and what was delivered on the wedding day was well beyond the perfection that I already expect. Our daughter completed an internship with JDK while in college, and although we did explore several area event planners & caterers, there was NO way we would choose anyone except JDK. Living in Williamsburg, VA with our daughter's wedding in Elizabethtown, PA, as parents of the bride, a priority for us was the ability to rely on JDK to work with us long distance. They were outstanding working with us long distance in planning this major life event. We were blessed to work with David Everett, Senior Event & Wedding Producer. This man not only knows his business, but also is true to his word and has an incredible calming presence. I had heard that JDK was very expensive, but I intensely disagree with that statement, When you explore other companies, you will find that every plate, tablecloth, bartender, waiter & even the event clean up fee is an extra charge. All is included in a wedding with JDK under one price per person. I encourage you to check this out, add up all the fees from other vendors and you will agree that JDK is the best choice for a major event. Plus, you get the highest quality for your wedding day that includes the food and service from the staff. Our daughter's wedding theme was "Enchantment in Literature in a Garden Theme," & JDK worked with our daughter to create the vision she envisioned. Weddings by JDK did both the catering and flowers for our wedding at the Bond in York, PA.

Erika and her flower team went above and beyond with their decorations and beautiful flowers. I was blown away with how wonderful the centerpieces and head table decorations turned out as well as all of the small touches of decorations throughout the venue. Our bouquets were well made and held together great throughout the entire day. Erika was a pleasure to work with and took our scattered ideas and pulled together one beautiful cohesive look that we just loved.

Our wedding guests can not rave enough about how wonderful the catering and food was for the reception. After our tasting we asked the chef if he would modify his menu to serve steak and scallops to our guests, which was not an original pairing option. I am so glad we made this choice because the meal turned out absolutely delicious. All of our guests loved the pairing and the food was cooked just right. JDK is the caterer that Linwood Estate works with and we could not be happier with the services they provided to us on our wedding day, Oct 29, 2017. My husband and I believe that JDK offers the best wedding menu we have ever had! We were invited to a lovely tasting event about eight months before our wedding, where we got to have a drink, taste selected hors d’oeuvres, and dinner selections. Everything we had was absolutely delicious and the chef was there to talk about other options. We selected the braised short ribs and fried chicken for our main course. One of the best things about JDK’s meals is that they provide two meat selections for everyone. It is a lot of food, but it is amazing for guests to be able to have some of everything. Another great thing about JDK is they allow you to provide your own alcohol and my husband and I also did signature drinks, which was really fun! When you are able to provide your own alcohol, you can be more creative with options and also save a lot of money! The servers and bartenders at our wedding were energetic, friendly, and efficient!

Erika Hegedus is the florist who works for JDK. She reached out to me about eight months before our wedding and met with my husband and I at the JDK tasting event. She asked about our ideas, colors, and what type of vision we wanted for our big day. She even asked to see my Pinterest page and asked a lot of questions to see what type of flowers and décor we wanted. She was considerate of our budget and offered other suggestions that we did not initially think of, which I loved! I feel like Erika truly went above and beyond for our wedding day. When I arrived to the venue and saw my wedding bouquet, I got goosebumps! The flowers were out of my dreams. It rained heavily on our wedding day Oct 29, 2017, so the wedding we originally had planned outdoors had to be moved into the Linwood Estate Appalachian Ballroom. Erika totally blew me away with everything she did for us!! She is so talented!!

JDK did both florals and catering for our wedding.
Florals: Erika did an absolutely amazing job making our wedding come to life!! When I first met with her, I knew very little about what I wanted in terms of florals. She asked a lot of questions to get a solid picture of what I was envisioning for the wedding as a whole, and went to work from there. The proposal she created was spot on! From there, a few things changed as the months passed, and she was always available by email if I ever had questions or concerns. When our day finally came and she arrived on site, the first thing she did was bring my bouquet up to the bridal suite. It was the most stunning bouquet I had ever seen! It was everything I had ever wanted. And from there it just kept getting better. She created a custom crystal and flower curtain to hang as our backdrop during the ceremony, crafted amazing centerpieces for our reception space, executed and amazing sweetheart tablescape, and just sprinkled a little perfection wherever she could! I could not have asked for better. It was absolutely stunning! Thank you Erika and team!!

Catering: JDK catered both our rehearsal and wedding dinners. Both meals were absolutely outstanding, and totally different! Their versatility and execution is unmatched. Our rehearsal was a more casual picnic style, with several made-to-order stations and desserts. The Buttermilk Fried Chicken is a MUST! Our wedding dinner was a bit more formal, but our guests loved the dual entree option. The passed hors d'oeuvres were also phenomenal. The staff was exceptional - very friendly and helpful. The girl assigned to us made sure to always have our drinks and food within arm's reach, no matter where we were or who we were talking to. JDK helped make our wedding a truly phenomenal experience, both for us and our guests. Thank you!!

JDK is truly amazing and exceptional to work with!! We worked with David and Molly and I cannot say enough great things about them! They produced and executed our event perfectly and our guests are still raving about how much they loved the design, the food, and the exceptional service (and I have a feeling they will continue to talk about it for years to come). We mainly worked with David through the planning process and he is exceptional. He always responds to emails in a timely manner and lays everything out perfectly so that I was never a stressed bride. He took many of my ideas to the next level and always knew what I was looking for when I didn't even have the words to describe it. I would have been lost without him. I would highly recommend JDK for all of your wedding planning, catering, bar-tending, and even floral needs. They do it ALL flawlessly!! Wish we could use them again and again!! Working with Emma and Sarah from the JDK Group was a God sent for my September 2017 wedding! They made the wedding planning process easy. The food was fantastic! The wait staff were attentive. David Everett and his team did an amazing job for my daughter's wedding. We worked together for over a year getting the food and ambience orchestrated for her rustic, farm-to-table-style wedding. Everyone raved about all aspects of the food served, and the presentation was superb. Our wedding was in Lancaster, Pa, and multiple people just assumed the caterer was from mainline Philadelphia because they were so good. JDK team offered great professionalism, creativity, and listening skills as we molded and shaped our theme through the many months that preceded the wedding. People will be talking about the catering at our wedding for years to come.

I recommend JDK and David (and Molly!) to everybody who is getting married in the area. They are simply amazing and really make you feel special and go above and beyond to help you execute your vision. They are not just a caterer, they are much more than that. All of my guests could not stop raving about the food. Also, Erika was amazing to work with on florals. She created a custom arrangement for me for the head table and I was just blown away. Worth every penny -- they are truly professionals and I could not be more happy with our experience working with them.

OK so this review is 5 years late but I can't not share how wonderful our experience was with JDK. My wife and I got married in 2012 and we were blown away with the services that JDK offered. We worked with David and Emma but my opinion is that we would have been in good hands with anyone we met with during their open house. Every one of our requests and needs were met, and our expectations were exceeded. And that was before we had to change our wedding date to a month later due to a family medical emergency! I picked up the phone, called Emma and David, shared what was happening, and within hours, everything was taken care of. Beyond what we could have expected and so thankful we picked JDK to be there and be part of this momentous occasion.

July 2017 makes 5 years of blissful marriage and to celebrate, I wanted to surprise my wife with a mini recreation of our reception. Nothing massive like 5 years ago, much smaller and intimate, but still the same result. I reached out to Emma and David via email, and again, within hours, we were planning away. I knew my expectations should be high considering what they've done in the past for us but somehow they were exceeded AGAIN! They preach "flawless execution" and they deliver on that statement!

I never write reviews, rate products etc, but I feel compelled to share the experiences we've had working with this fantastic company. You really need not go anywhere else to plan your wedding after you connect with JDK and please consider this the highest recommendation and seek them out if for nothing else, they offer a service to put your mind at ease the week prior to the big day. You can't go wrong.

JDK and David did an outstanding job catering and orchestrating our wedding party at the Farm at Eagles Ridge in July 2017. The process was smooth from the start. David and his team were quick to respond to emails and phone calls, very detail oriented, and flexible with our (very short) time frame, budget, and guest count. On the day of the party, the dinner was well-staffed, and the food was served promptly and without error. But, with JDK, the service goes above and beyond catering. David orchestrated all the details of our day that an event planner normally would, offering input on all those pesky details I was oblivious to, particularly as we do not live in the area. The event was a huge success. Big thanks to David and the rest of the team!

David – Leading up to our wedding, David and Molly were such a pleasure to work with. We went through rounds of revisions and David gave us so much advice and guidance. He truly treated our wedding like his own and we felt so taken care of in his hands.

The day of our wedding, seeing David was such a joy. He continued to give us advice and the best tips. His staff was fantastic – he even had two servers assigned to me and my husband while we took our photos. Walking into the barn actually took my breath away. I’m not the girl who grew up dreaming of her wedding, but David helped our wedding become so personal to us. He helped us coordinate getting a cake from our own neighborhood bakery (3 hours away) and serve cookies (3,000+ cookies) made by my grandmother that we transported to the farm. David, you are amazing! Our guests raved about the food and we could not have been happier to have chosen JDK.

Erika – When I mentioned to David that I didn’t have a florist, he suggested I speak with Erika. From our first conversation, Erika felt like a great fit. I had specific visions for our wedding, but knew very little about flowers. Erika worked with me to create the most gorgeous designs. She gave me great guidance and is so, so talented. When the flowers showed up in the bridal suite, I was so stunned. They were exactly the size and style I envisioned, but were more beautiful than I could have imagined. Erika simply knocked it out of the park. I could not recommend her more highly – she is amazing!

Hiring Weddings by JDK for our wedding on May 19, 2017 was one of the best decisions we made. It was an absolute pleasure working with David and his team to make our wedding dreams come true. Weddings by JDK provided so much more than just catering - they really helped bring our vision to life with their added decor and creativity. If you work with JDK you definitely want to have Erika do your floral arrangements. We debated working another florist, but we are so glad we decided to work with JDK directly. So many people at our wedding commented that we had the most gorgeous flowers they've ever seen. The planning process was really smooth and organized (and fun!) which helped alleviate any pre-wedding stress. The staff that worked the day of our wedding was amazing- everyone was professional and personable! They also were extremely careful in handling dietary restrictions - one of our guests has very severe food allergies. We highly recommend JDK!!!

JDK and David were unbelievable amazing. Our wedding was an absolute fairytale, and JDK had a huge part in making it so seamless and beautiful every step of the way. Weddings by JDK is an absolutely wonderful company to work with! I worked with David Everett and Molly Unangst for food, decor and rentals. I worked with Erika Heeds for my florals (and also decor). All the work they did completely exceeded my expectations! My wedding was like a dream all thanks to them :) My husband and I chose my parent's house as the venue for our ceremony and reception so, needless to say, JDK had never produced and executed a wedding there before but WOW! Everything was flawless :)

Where to even begin! We worked with JDK and the Vineyard at Hershey for our wedding. From the moment we toured the venue we knew that is where we wanted to get married and working with JDK's team from that point forward was nothing short of amazing. Emma Trautman is the sweetest, most down-to-earth event planner you could imagine and was there to answer all of my questions and calm my concerns any time of day. Working with her took a lot of the stress out of planning such a big event! On the day of our wedding Emma was there to ensure everything was set up exactly as we discussed and worked seamlessly through the curve ball of it raining for our outdoor ceremony. Once the reception started Ralph took great care of us, making sure my husband had water all night and handling everything we threw at him with such professionalism. The bartenders were amazing - Adrian was a standout and took great care of my mom! Ester was also a stand out for the catering staff - so sweet! We cannot thank you enough for all the hard work everyone at JDK did to pull off our big day - ourselves and all of our guests had the best time! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The professionals at JDK made our reception at the State Museum of Pennsylvania more amazing than we could have imagined! The food was exquisite, and the staff was friendly and responsive. David's guidance took the pressure off during the planning process, and his expertise gave us exactly what we wanted for our reception - and then some. Erika in JDK's floral department helped us get exactly the floral arrangements and bridal bouquets we wanted while staying within our budget. Ashley from JDK was on hand during our reception and executed our year's worth of planning flawlessly. We have received so many compliments following our wedding. LOVED JDK, best decision we made surrounding our wedding! Emma was great to work with. She communicates well, is fun and knowledgeable, and just made it a wonderful experience. I spoke to Emma on the phone and we went to one of their taste tests and wow, the food was phenomenal. After receiving our proposal, we decided to book them. I cannot stress how happy I am that we made that decision. We served 5 awesome apps- cheese display and butlered-maple chicken waffle cones, (my fav!) pork belly tacos, basil watermelon skewers, and shrimp and grits. Our duet entree was crab cakes and braised short ribs (tons of guest compliments!) They are professional, accommodating, fun, and friendly. I highly recommend you work with JDK, you will not be disappointed. They also provided quite a few wedding decorations and filled in the empty spaces so that helped with budget; I didn't have to buy a bunch of stuff that we'd never use again. Beautiful, it was the nicest wedding I have ever been to so I am thrilled that it was our wedding!

My husband and I worked with Emma and her team to plan our picture perfect wedding day. She was so attentive and easy to talk to - and she listened! My husband is a chef, so food is extremely important to us in all celebrations, but especially on this monumental occasion. Emma took our feedback from the tasting and worked directly with her chef to ensure that we were over the moon about our food. She assisted us with our ceremony to ensure that all of our hard work played out in every detail, and her team paid close attention to our requests at every turn. Given that both my husband and I work in hospitality and a large portion of our guests are also in the industry (event planners, catering sales directors, hoteliers, chefs, etc.) we were delighted to hear that a great time was had by all - and the comments on the service from Emma, Sam and their team were endless! I can't gush enough about how easy it was to work with Emma - if ever given the chance, I hope to work with her again someday.

I don't even know where to begin with this review. There is no words to describe how AMAZING Weddings by JDK was to me. I specifically worked with David and Molly. I was really really lucky to have found them. I worked with mostly David through all the face to face meetings, phone calls, and emails. He always got back to me in a timely matter too which when planning a wedding is key.
When planning the wedding and going over my own style and vision, I would say what I would think and David would take it to a whole other level that I didn't even know was possible. When I walked into our cocktail hour and reception, I could not believe it was "my" wedding. Everything was done to a T. There was so many little details everywhere. The staff at Weddings by JDK that worked my wedding was amazing. I had so many guest come up to me stating how amazing everything was and how nice and professional the people were. I am so happy that guests were able to enjoy themselves.
As for the food....that was definitely the most talked about thing at our wedding. The way it was presented to guests, the favors it had, and the portions! We selected the Family Style meals for our guests and they absolutely loved it. All the bars at the wedding were serviced very well too. There was never really a line and we always had 2 bars open so guests could always get a drink if they wanted one.
David was with me every step of the way through my wedding. If I had a "little break down" he would promise and ensure me that everything would be perfect. (and coming from a person that needs control of everything that was hard to hear but I trusted him).
I am so sad that my wedding planning is over. It was truly an honor to have worked with Weddings by JDK. If you are reading this review, I would highly recommend booking them or at least schedule a time to meet their staff. They are truly an amazing team and my wedding wouldn't have been perfect without them.

JDK has an exclusive catering agreement with our wedding venue – The Bond. At first we were a bit nervous about not having the opportunity to choose our caterer, but it turned out that we were very happy with the services we received from them. We really enjoyed the tasting event that JDK organized, as it helped us to refine the menu we thought we wanted. Throughout the planning, the chef was very willing to accommodate our guests’ dietary restrictions and preferences. Our guests have raved about the food – many of them told us it was the best meal they ever had at a wedding. The steak and salmon were excellent, as were all the sides and appetizers. We offered late night snacks too, with soft pretzels, sliders and fries – they were so delicious, and very well received by our guests after several hours of dancing and drinking. JDK also staffed our wedding - the servers and bartenders at the reception were all fantastic. Overall, we were very happy with JDK, and, if I were to have another big event, would choose them with or without the catering contract. I would highly recommend them.

JDK was one of the best decisions we made when planning my daughter's wedding. From the moment we met with David Everett we felt like he had wonderful ideas and he was going to be extremely helpful in organizing the special day. Once we hired JDK, I never questioned our decision again. From the tasting, to the planning, to the "styling" the day of - David and his team had everything under control. Sam was a gem to work with the day of the wedding - he was on top of everything, stayed organized and had such a wonderful demeanor. One of the best parts of hiring JDK, the price never changed from the original pp quote. No matter what we asked for, what "extra" things they needed to do, i.e.; fill 90 mini vases with water for escort card table, repurpose ceremony flower arrangements into the reception room and style them in several different areas, etc., the price never changed. You have to love that when many other caterers would start nickel and diming you! This team is so professional, so buttoned up, so AMAZING! Thank you JDK for an awesome wedding!
