Fabulous Experience
As a costumer, you'd think I'd want to make my own wedding gown. But actually, I wanted - and got - the full bridal couture experience at Weddings by Debbie and couldn't be happier. They're not cheap but they are fun, and my recommendation is to do your research first on designers, costs, accessories, and alterations and budget accordingly. Although, there were dresses several times more expensive than my own I was never made to feel any the less for choosing the one I came in for, the gorgeous "Essex" from Sottero and Midgley. I knew what I wanted and am most delighted with their staff, and alterations teams for helping me realize a long-cherished dream. I may not be 25, but even for mature brides, you should definitely allow yourself this luxury. It was a blast!

The best wedding salon
First of all, whatever Debbie and her daughter have going on at WBD, KEEP IT UP! I have never been so thankful for two humans. My dress was perfect from the minute I tried it on. Also, Mrs. Jan helped me into my dress AND wrote me a thank you card for shopping with them! How kind! I will refer all friends there, and the employees were just as excited as we were for finding my dress as well as picking it up for bridals and my wedding day. I love the family here, and can't wait to go back for try-ons with my new friend!

The most amazing bridal salon!
I visited several bridal salons in the Houston area and was disappointed at every single one. Upon recommendations from MULTIPLE friends I scheduled an appointment at Weddings by Debbie! They were amazing from the start! They called me ahead of time to discuss what I was looking for and learn a bit more about me. The visit was amazing and they found the exact style of dresses that I was looking for! They were open and helpful about everything. Our appointment was amazing and I found the dress of my dreams within a reasonable budget! The staff were phenomenal in communicating any changes or questions! It was super easy to reach them as well. Loved the dress, loved the team and loved the experience! Will highly recommend to anyone looking for a wedding dress of their dreams!

I had a great experience getting my wedding dress from Weddings by Debbie. During the initial appointment, my consultant helped me find quite a few dresses that were my style (at least 10) and was enthusiastic the entire time. They have an incredibly large selection of dresses, more than any other shop I went to. I was able to find the perfect dress for my style and body type. After my initial try on with my sized dress, I decided that I wanted to add cap sleeves to my sleeveless dress. The seamstress was able to find the perfect lace to match the rest of my dress and add the sleeves. The sleeves fit great and it looked like the dress was made that way, she did an incredible job. Weddings by Debbie was able to accomodate many of my requests with the dress and I ended up with a perfectly fitted, stunning dress!

"THE" dress

Weddings by Debbie is amazing! I got my wedding dress and veil here. Lina was my consultant and she was an absolute gem to work with. I have never really tried on dresses before and had no clue where to start. She was patient with me and helped me figure out what style of dress I liked. We then found a dress that I fell in love with!
Weddings By Debbie also did all of my alterations. I could not thank them enough for all of their amazing and hard work!! They added some fabric to make the dress more modest for me, built custom sleeves, and filled in the open back. By the time all of it was done - I couldn’t help but cry with excitement. It was definitely a dress out of a fairy tale!! I highly recommend Weddings by Debbie to anyone looking for their wedding dress!!

Great Dresses!
Weddings by Debbie was the third and final stop of a day of dress-shopping. They did require a credit card when one of my matrons of honor booked our appointment, but it’s because if we hadn’t shown up it would have been a $50 fee. It was rather crowded when we got there, and we waited for about 15-20 minutes before our consultant took us back. TO BE FAIR, it was a Saturday.
My consultant was very helpful and allowed my matrons of honor and I to do the picking--she wasn’t pushy like other consultants I’d had that day. Once we went back, we were almost overwhelmed by the selection! There were specific areas that had certain price points, which was helpful. My dress ended up being the fifth or sixth one that I tried on- a Maggie Sottero gown. Though I didn’t purchase any accessories, they had plenty to choose from and I was able to try on my gown along with similar accessories to what I was already planning on wearing in order to get the entire picture.
I ordered my gown that day after getting measured, on October 27th. They told me it’d be about March before the dress came in, but they called me January 5th telling me that the dress was in whenever I’d like to come in and try it on. It was easy to make an appointment to try it on that worked with my schedule. I went in and tried it on with my accessories, and then made an appointment for alterations to begin. They were apprehensive about starting alterations so early and had me sign a waiver, but they did allow me to start alterations in March for a November wedding. My alterations were completed in April so that I could take my bridal portraits in June before I moved across the country. When I took my gown for the bridals, there was a $70ish charge for steaming prior (which was optional, I chose to have it steamed because of the style of the dress) and (because I took my bridals outdoors after it had rained) I did pay to have them clean it afterwards. However, they stored and steamed my gown free of charge before my mother picked it up the Thursday before the wedding! They also recommended a cleaning/preserving service and if I use them, I can get a certain amount off.
Overall, I was very happy with Weddings by Debbie and I absolutely ADORE my dress!

Weddings by Debbie is great! I purchased my wedding gown here and had them do all the alterations. Leena was my consultant and she was an absolute dream to work with. She called me a few days prior to my appointment to get a feel of what I was looking for (at that time I was open to anything since I hadn’t tried on dresses before) as well as my budget. Once my mom and I got to the store on my appointment day, we did a brief review of everything and then we were able to pull dresses. We were clearly told where dresses were located that were in our budget, and we were able to pull whatever we liked. Leena also grabbed a few that she thought might work for me.
The appointment flew by, and I ended up buying the first dress I tried on. The checkout process was fast, and everything was explained to us in great detail. Once the dress was delivered I was able to come back to the store to make sure it was correct and that it fit – it did! After that I scheduled my alterations appointment.
The first appointment was the longest, just because it was the appointment with the most alterations. The 2nd appointment was to try on the dress with the first set of alterations, and then to proceed with the bustle. The 3rd appointment was to check the bustle, and to show my mom how to put it up. They took their time showing her what to do and even let her do half of it so she would be familiar with the process.
Picking up the dress for my engagement photos was easy. I was able to drop it off afterwards and they cleaned and pressed it for the wedding day. They even found a few tears in the tulle from my pictures and graciously fixed them with lace appliques that matched my dress for no charge. Pickup for the wedding day was similarly easy. I would highly recommend Weddings by Debbie to anyone looking for their wedding dress!

My daughter had a dress picked out at another bridal shop. We had even gone over there 3 times to try it on. The last bridal shop we went to was Weddings by Debbie. The only thing that kind of turned me off was they wanted my credit card number to make the appt. I almost said forget it but glad I didn't. Needless to say, that is where she found her dress and said YES to the dress. They were very professional and acted like Nicole was the only bride in the store. They understood what she wanted and delivered. Even though her veil was super expensive, it was simply gorgeous and matched perfectly with her dress. We bought it in September, 2017 and it came in March, 2018. We went in for a few fittings and picked it up the week of the wedding. Scheduling the fittings was super easy and the dress was perfect. I also got my MOB dress there. You definitely have to make an appt here if you are shopping for a wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses or MOB/MOG dresses.

I had the absolute best experience at Weddings by Debbie, choosing my wedding dress & my bridesmaids' dresses. My dress appointment was with Lina, who was the absolute sweetest & did not make me feel rushed at all. She accommodated my party size (5 guests) & allowed me to walk around the store too, picking out options she & I thought I would like. She also steered me away from the areas in the store that would be over-budget, so I didn't even have to see those gorgeous gowns & be disappointed in knowing I couldn't afford them. After my initial appointment, I had a difficult time in choosing one gown because I couldn't see it in the color I wanted. A few weeks later, she called to let me know that that particular gown would be discontinued in a week, and so if I wanted to purchase, I needed to come in sooner rather than later. I'm not sure if that is a norm in the wedding dress industry, but I thought it very thoughtful that she would reach out to me about that type of information. When I went in for the second appointment to decide if I wanted that first dress or not, Lina pulled a few other options that were similar to style, beading, etc., to see if I liked any of those. Of course, one of those options was my dream dress! Lina will forever be on my mind when I think of my dress, because of her excellent talent & observation on my style and feelings.
I then can back a few weeks later with my bridesmaids to purchase their dress. This appointment was with Jennifer. I don't know how she does it, wrangling in a party of 7 women all looking at different styles and colors, but she was absolutely wonderful. Overall, we found the perfect dress that fit everyone's body types, &Jennifer found a swatch on the color burgundy by the same designer, so I would be assured it was the correct color I wanted for the girls.
AJ, Jeanette, &Jamie were also the absolute best to work with in alterations and pressing as well! I would write more but I ran out of room. :(

I order my wedding dress here and the staff was incredibly helpful. I chose a strapless wedding dress but I really wanted to lower the back and add straps so the owner came out to review the dress just to make sure it was possible. They were super helpful every step along the way and especially since I lived in San Antonio and had to drive in for my fittings. My dress turned out beautiful and I received so many compliments on it. I highly recommend Weddings by Debbie if you are looking for your dream gown for your wedding. Incredible staff, a HUGE selection of dresses, and am overall amazing experience.

I went to a few other store before going here. I was very impressed by the look of the store inside so many dresses. I found an amazing dress and the staff went above and beyond to handcraft the lace design on my veil. Both the dress and veil where amazing!!!! I would say it is on the higher end of things but it was so pretty it was well worth the money.

What can I say about the place that made me feel like I belonged and that know matter what dress I choose they would make sure I was beautiful in it! My wedding planner (Kristina- Ultimate Events Unlimited) set up my first appointment because I was so nervous about the process. Wedding dress shopping while being blessed up top and and having hips/curves didn't seem like fun so I waited well over a year to start shopping. Let me tell you what!!! Lena will forever hold a special place in my heart as well as all the other ladies who assisted me. Earlier I said my planner booked my first appointment well, that should have told you I went to other establishments, mistake. Some of the alterations ladies needed help, but AJ was always there to make sure I was taken care of. I loved my experience with Weddings By Debbie. I called the morning that I wanted an appointment and they had me in the salon that afternoon. Alicia helped me, and she was patient to let me try some things on that I thought I wanted but when I finally asked her to choose some for me, she chose my wedding dress. The store is beautiful and the seating area where my mom and sisters were was beautiful and comfortable. My dress was affordable and they offer to store it and press it for me. Amazing and stress free experience. Plus, I got 10% off since I bought my dress on my first visit.

One of my friends had recommended WBD to me. I was a little hesistant to go at first because I lived all the way in Spring and they were all the way in Katy, but boy was I glad I went. When you get there it's literally like the bridal shop you've envisioned walking into. It's so girly and you just walk into a sea of beautiful dresses. I loved it! I was helped by Kaycee. I went in with the intention of buying this dress I had like at another shop, but I wanted to buy it from WBD because they hold your dress in the shop until right before your wedding and they have an alterations dept. Most bridal shops make you take the dress home once it comes in and I didn't like that. I tried on that dress and even though I liked it I didn't love it. When I was about to say yes to this dress, this other bride walked out in the perfect dress. I asked, Kaycee if I could try on that one last dress. When I put on that dress it felt right. I felt beautiful and elegant. My mom even started to cry and she hadn't cried with any other dress which confirmed it even more that it was the perfect dress. So I ordered my dress in Nov 2014 and it came in late March 2014. Which was a lot sooner than expected. Their alterations dept was amazing too. I lost 20 lbs so the dress needed to be taken in quite a bit. I was concerned the dress wouldn't look the same, but it looked the same if not better. I was pleasantly pleased. Yesenia was the one that helped me with my alterations and she was super sweet. The staff is amazing, they are all willing to helped. Never once did I feel rushed. They really take the time to make you look the best. I liked them so much I recommended them to two other friends and they also got their dresses here. I also bought my veil and belt/sash from here. They have a whole section for accessories. It's pretty awesome.

I was so happy to have found this boutique! They have a huge selection and little did I know at the time, several other stores that I called in the area did not have the dress I wanted, but they had it no problems! The place is elegant and beautiful inside. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. At the time they also offered 10% off if you pick your dress the first time you visit. They were a far drive for me since I was living in the Woodlands, but it was totally worth it!

This bridal boutique is the ONLY ONE YOU WILL NEED TO GO TO! I walked in and before even seeing the dresses fell in love with their salon. It is so gorgeous and neat. They have a beautiful area to try on the dresses and they have such an amazing selection of gowns. After trying 4 or 5 other salons I am so happy i finally found Weddings By Debbie! The staff is so kind, supportive, and attentive to details. The alterations I did within the store and they were done before the expected date. The women who do alterations are also very helpful and they know what they are doing and have specialized in wedding dress alterations for many many years. Ladies, don't go anywhere else! My daughter found the perfect dress for her wedding. It was expensive and the alterations add up as well, but Debbie's did everything to make sure the dress was ready for the bridal portrait and the wedding. The dress needed a creative bustle and Debbie's did not disappoint. The bustle was very sturdy allowing my daughter to dance the entire evening without anyone stepping on her dress or tearing it. After photos outside, the wedding, dining and dancing, there was only minor soiling near the hem.

I only had about 6 months to plan my wedding, so the first day I went to try on dresses I knew that I had to order it that day. The staff was so nice and my consultant was so helpful. They had so many beautiful gowns, it was hard to pick one. WBD also offers a great range of prices. They have a lot of styles that could fit any budget. Process of elimination was the key! Years ago, I also bought my quinceanera dress from their WD Prom selection. I knew I definitely had to go back for my wedding!

I had a great experience looking for my dress at Weddings by Debbie. My consultant was Paula and she pulled some fabulous dresses for me to try on once she started getting a feel for my style. I went on a Monday morning and the place was empty so I was able to bring 5 family members with me which is more than they usually recommend but I was so happy to have them all with me! I tried on a ton of dresses and never felt rushed or like I had overstayed my welcome. We were there for a few hours trying on different gowns and I finally found one that I fell in love with. I told them I had to think about it over lunch and they said that was fine, I went to lunch, tried on dresses at another store, headed back to Weddings by Debbie and purchased my gown that evening. I received the first visit 10% off which was a nice bonus and got a gown that I love. I recommend taking a little more time to select a veil that you really love because it is automatically tacked on to the bill at the end (thankfully I loved the veil that was picked out) just watch out for that! My dress came in early and I will be picking it up closer to the wedding to take it back to NY for alterations so I will not be having Weddings by Debbie do the alterations. Overall a wonderful shopping experience!

The experience here was everything you ever imagine and want it to be. The staff at Debbie's make you feel warm and special and they are there for you every step of the process. They went above and beyond helping me get my dress on time when I only had 6 months to order and get the alterations done. It was very tight but they put me at ease and made it all happen flawlessly. They worked to discount the dress and veil for me to meet my budget needs as well. I felt like a princess there. Their bridal salon is as beautiful as it gets. This was the one and only bridal shop I went to and it was amazing. My bridal consultant picked the dress I ended up buying. It was the first dress I tried on. After that none of them seemed to make the cut. She was very helpful and really made me confident with my decision. I also want to say that everyone was helpful. The bridesmaid dress consultant was very friendly and made sure I got the right color that I wanted for the bridesmaid dresses. I had some alterations that needed to be done pretty close to the wedding and they did it. My dress was perfect. I definately recommend this place. Everyone in that store made me feel welcome and was very helpful. Every department is ausome. The wedding floor is very spacious and nice and you will not feel rushed.

My experience with Weddings By Debbie and the entire staff there could not have been better. First of all, the inside of the building is breathtaking...and there are so many dresses. Every designer you can imagine, and prices ranging from under $1,000 to well over $7,000 and on up! Beautiful, beautiful selection of dresses. When I tried on dresses here for the first time, my consultant did not make me feel pressured at all. Usually, I feel like the salespeople are just trying to get me to buy something - anything - but at WD trying on dresses was actually relaxing, and fun! I ended up choosing an Allure, which they had to special order. I got a better price on it than anywhere else in Houston (and believe me, I did my research). My dress came in quickly, and I was able to come in right away to try it on. It did need some alterations, since I am 5'3 and about 100 pounds. I had about 3 inches taken off on each side, bra cups added into the dress, a french bustle, and I had the petticoat sewn into the dress. The dress looked perfect, and the alterations were done quickly. But MOST importantly, I did not pay a fortune to have them done. WD's pricing for alterations, while not "cheap", are extremely reasonable. I even decided to have the hips taken in a little more ONE WEEK before the wedding, and they were happy to do it! They didn't even charge me a rush fee, even though it was totally my fault for waiting so long to decide. I also got my headpiece from WD (they have beautiful headpieces, veils, and accessories), and since I bought it off the shelf, I got a major discount. Overall, my experience with Weddings By Debbie was incredible and completely stress-free. If you live in the Houston area, you MUST check them out! Just be sure to make an appointment!

Top notch customer service. I tried on SO many dresses but it didn't matter to my dress helper (wish I could remember her name, but they were all so sweet to everyone). I didn't find a dress the first time I came in, but I tried again because they have such a wide selection you're bound to find the dress that is perfect for you. Purchasing, altering and picking up the dress was seamless and I would definitely recommend Weddings by Debbie to anyone looking for a wedding, mother of the bride, bridesmaid, prom or special occasion dress.

Paula was my salesperson at Weddings by Debbie, and she was friendly and helpful. Originally, I wanted an A line lace dress. After trying on several dresses that met this criteria, Paula suggested that I try on a dress that was a totally different style. I ended up purchasing her suggestion! Luckily, it was in my size, so I was able to buy it off the rack. That saved me a couple of hundred dollars.

I purchased my dress from Wedding by Debbie. They whole process was great. The ladies dedicate there time to you and only you. They have a wide selection of dresses, so no matter what you are looking for they have it. I was able to make a decision the first time I went. And they offer 10% off your whole purchase if you find you dress on your first visit. Beautiful dress salon by the way!!

This was the most amazing experience I have ever had. I was reluctant to do the bridal thing in the first place, but Weddings By Debbie turned my attitude right around. At no point did I feel like I wasn't spending enough money, and I had one contact person throughout the entire process. If you want a "Say Yes to the Dress" moment, shop here!

My dress buying experience at Weddings by Debbie was everything I hoped it would be. The space is beautiful and feels special. Our consultant, Paula, was so enthusiastic about helping me find a dress and made the process run really smoothly. The alterations department made it easy to schedule appointments after work hours and did a great job making the dress fit me exactly!

We tried this place because it was close to my home. We did read other reviews that did not do this place justice. We had a wonderful time here! Lina was amazing, kind and patient! This was the best experience I had while I was dress shopping. Not only was my fitting fun from my family and I but each time after for alterations was fun as well. The seamstress and the receptionist were both amazing, both caring, and very knowledgeable. I loved how the seamstress was on site and that everything must be approved before it is even allowed to be shown or leave the store. My dress was absolutely stunning, and the bustle that they made for it made it that much more beautiful the day of. I can't wait to go back to get it altered when we decide to renew our vows. Thank you so much!

Jean listened to me and FOUND the dress for me. i wanted Old Hollywood and fit and flare and she found exactly that. She KNEW the dresses they had and KNEW what I wanted. Susha the manager helped with my veil and picking my shoe height and just about everything else I had questions about. Alterations, jewlry, shoes, hair lenght... TH WHOLE NINE. The whole staff is great and they take time with you. I NEVER felt rushed like I did other places. And the shop is BEAUTIFUL. i wanted to find my dress there because it was so pretty. Not dingy, crowded and tight. Spacious, pretty, clean and sparkly!!!

I was very happy working with Wedding's by Debbie. I thought that all of the staff members that I worked with were very professional and helpful. I only had a few months before my wedding to get a dress and I found a beautiful one that fit me perfectly and i was able to purchase it right off the rack. The cleaned it up fabulously and I had no trouble with the alterations. I was more pleased with them than anyone I've every worked with as a bridesmaid.

The consultants here really go out of their way to make you feel like a princess. I went in there not knowing anything about styles or what I wanted, and after about ten dresses my consultant was able to pinpoint what I wanted and we hit "the dress". It was something I never would have picked for myself, but she was able to figure out what I hadn't even figured out yet. Going through alterations was a breeze, and it was very helpful that they were open late on some weeknights so you can schedule appointments after work. I highly recommend going to Weddings by Debbie to look for your dream dress.

I found my dream dress here! Leslie was so patient with me as I tried on dress after dress, until I found "the one". It's true what they say - when you find it you know it instantly. It is so important to dress shop at a place who is patient. Amazing, personable customer service - you don't feel like just another sale. I also had my alterations and dress pressing done here - everyone in each department is incredible. Thank you all!

I absolutely LOVED my dress! I would wear it everyday if I could because it was so gorgeous! And it was a Maggie! I received great customer service and the staff was friendly enough to give me suggestions on the type of jewelry I should try to find and what type of veil would look best with the dress, even though they knew I was not going to be able to afford one from their store, they gave me other suggestions which was really nice of them.

I was treated in a very professional way since I first made a call to schedule an appointment till the very last communication I had with them. I already knew what gown I wanted but still tried on others. At the end I ended up purchasing the one I had my heart and mind set to it. My consultant was very nice and helpful. My gown came in way earlier than the expected arrival date. They were good about calling me once it came in. The gown was not damage in any way and was more beautiful than I had last seen it. I didn't get alterations there either or the complimentary steam because the location it is very far from were I live. I didn't purchase no extra items at the boutique such as veil and hair accessories because I thought they were too overpriced. As for the petticoat I thought the price was very reasonable. Alsom I thought the dressing rooms were a great size. Not to small not to big. Overall I highly recommended to go give this boutique a try. It will be a nice experience.

I went to four different bridal salons before I found "the one." Weddings by Debbie was the last on the list, and I pretty much had decided from the beginning that they too would not have what I was looking for. My bridal consultant was extremely helpful, attentive, and wanted to make sure that I got the dress of my dreams. I told her that my fiancee wanted a dress that would show off my figure with a plunging necklne and back. I wanted a dress that was mermaid or fit-to-flair. I was convinced that like the three other salons, this bridal consultant would have me try on many pretty dresses, but none that met all of my criteria. Boy was I wrong. The last dress she had me try on was a dress she selected. I was very reluctant to try it on, but as soon as I did and stepped out to look in the mirror, I just knew that this was it!!
Once I said yes to the dress, the store manager came over and congratulated me and assited me in picking out a veil, a matching jewelry. Each time I went back to the salon for my fittings adn to pick up my dress, the staff were incredily friendly and always helpful.
Weddings by Debbie ie reasonably priced for alterations and will house your dress onsite until your are ready to pick it up. They offer one free pressing and charge a small fee for additional pressings.
My mom also purchased her mother of the bride dresss and I purchased the dress for my rehearsal dinner.
I highly recommend this place for wedding dresses, mother of the bride dresses, and dresses for rehearsal dinners!!

The team at Weddings by Debbie was incredible...from the actualy dress shopping to the alterations, everything went smooth and was wonderful. I especially appreciated the indiviudal attention by alterations, specfically Lupe and her team. They did an excellent job and addressed every concern and detail with professionalism.

I had Lina at Weddings by Debbie and she was so sweet and helpful. She knew everything there is to know about wedding dresses. I didn't feel pressured or that she was trying to make a sale right then and there. She understood that buying a wedding dress is a big decision and even extending the discount for buying your dress the same day. The alterations dept. was great and made sure my dress fit perfect!! You won't be disapointed with LINA so make sure you ask for her when making your appointement!!!

The consultant I had was very helpful! It only took me saying that I liked the look of a dress I saw in there that was wayyy out of my budget and she brought me pretty much a replica of that dress in a different designer and for much less! She pulled all of the dresses that I had looked up online as well and then still brought me dresses that matched my taste that she thought I would like. The business itself is amazing as well. I loved that they dont allow children in the store, I know that may hinder some people but it was actually refreshing to be able to enjoy that moment with my bridesmaids with champagne and all without a bunch of kids running around like they have no parents. They just remodelled and the store is so beautiful! They also have bridesmaids and mother of the bride section as well as a whole prom section. Very pleased with my experience.

I loved this place! Too bad I never plan on buying another wedding dress. Their new location is beautiful inside. The staff made it a very pleasant and easy experience. My dress was perfect! And, after the wedding, they were very helpful in supplying dress preservation resources.

Such a wonderful array of bridal gowns. I wsn't expecting to fall in love with a dress so below my budget. It was half off! The alterations department were WONDERFUL!! They are angels with a needle! They were able to take in my dress, add buttons down the back (the designer forgot to add), hem, the bussle. in three days! I had to pay a small rush fee.
