    Tre Posti Wedding

    Working with Jim and Darlene was an absolute pleasure. Their services were incredibly helpful, from using Social Tables to make planning our seating chart easier to the many details they handled on our big day. They were highly organized and supportive throughout the process. I would definitely recommend them for your wedding needs—they are true professionals!

    We hired Darlene to be our Day of Coordinator and honestly could not have dreamed of a better person (or team because her husband Jim is also part of the package) to oversee the operations of our wedding! Our family is very vocal about everything, and from the very first meeting Darlene handled them with the appropriate tone and level set how this relationship would work. My father-in-law was very negative about hiring a planner in general and walked away from that meeting thrilled that I chose her and knew she was the perfect person to handle anything that came up. What I absolutely loved about working with Darlene and Jim was that they treated my husband and I like family. Jim's level of detail for table layouts was spot on and they were open to other ideas that we felt suited us better. Darlene even suggested things that I wanted and worked it out with the venue so we could have and at no additional expense. She is a rock and a must have for a bride! They protected us from whatever issues were happening around us and they followed our wishes to make sure our day was perfect. I HIGHLY recommend Weddings by Darlene, you are getting way more with them than just a planner!

    Best in the Business!

    Working with Darlene and Jim was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very first conversation, they made us feel seen, heard, and completely at ease. Their attention to detail, warmth, and genuine passion for what they do radiated through every step of the process.

    They didn’t just plan our wedding—they brought it to life. Every vision we had was thoughtfully executed and elevated in ways we never could have imagined. On the day of, Darlene and Jim created a calm, seamless environment that allowed us to be fully present, knowing that everything was in the most capable hands.

    Our wedding day was nothing short of magical, and so much of that is because of their tireless work behind the scenes. We are beyond grateful for their guidance, kindness, and the personal touch they brought to every moment. We truly can’t recommend them highly enough!

    Officiant Jim Forbes

    I had the honor of having Jim as the officiant of my wedding. From the start, his professionalism and thoroughness were evident as he walked us through the entire process, from collaborating on the ceremony script to writing our vows to obtaining our marriage license.

    Jim also made the effort to drive down to the Bay Area, showing how important it was for him to get to know us personally so he could create a ceremony tailored for us. He was easy to reach whenever we had questions and happily accommodated any suggestions we had, often helping us come up with even better ideas.

    Jim kept a great pace, inserted humor appropriately without going over the top, and ensured the ceremony was the right length to keep everyone engaged.

    Jim was wonderful to work with, a true professional, a kind man, and a fantastic officiant. We were truly happy to have him officiate our wedding.

    Amazing dream team!

    We hired Darlene and Jim for both partial planning and officiant services and they went above and beyond to make our vision a reality. They are the sweetest and easiest to talk to while also professional, prompt, and very knowledgeable. They were able to figure solutions and ideas to save us money with vendors, offered ideas to make the big day even better (without feeling like they're pressuring us), and executed the day of without a hitch. We loved their humor and easygoing candor too. If you want a Napa expert on wedding, hire them!

    I really enjoyed working with Darlene. She is an expert on Napa weddings, works frequently with many of the caterers and at a variety of venues. She is super professional and has great ideas to resolve any issues you are working through.
    Her pricing and availability were excellent. She makes herself available whenever you need. She has been doing weddings for 20 years and is truly an expert in all kinds of weddings from super formal to very casual.
    I would recommend her to anyone.

    Darlene and her husband work together on weddings and have been doing wedding coordination for a long time. I heard good things about them from vendors and we had a great first meeting with them. They also were also a good value.

    I expected more responsiveness, especially as I was planning a wedding from long distance. Jim was very professional and was helping during the rehearsal and day of. Everything seemed to run smoothly on the day of and I have no complaints there at all. As any bride knows there is lots of to do any many vendors won't even work with you until the last minute. It took a lot of time to get my first wedding timeline and rehearsal scheduled (how can you plan a rehearsal dinner with no rehearsal information?). The seating chart was a disaster- I asked repeatedly for the seating chart to fill out, I then said I was traveling to the wedding and that I needed the chart and would have no access to a printer on the road- still no response. Then they send it the night before the rehearsal (you have a few things going on at that point) but I couldn't check my email and I had already written a made up chart on scrap paper. I had everything already organized when I arrived at the rehearsal, except for their seating chart (which I still didn't know they even sent). While I was doing other things the coordinator actually started badmouthing how I hadn't done the chart in front of the groom and a few bridal party memembers! There also was an issue of the table numbers getting bent up in my moms car on the way over, the Forbes gladly said they would smooth them out. They were still bent on the day off. Darlene was cranky during rehearsal and hardly spoke to me. Things could have gone worse but I would have appreciated more professionalism!
