Don Goodrum was the best wedding officiant we could have ever asked for. We are so happy we found him. From our first conversation over the phone we knew we wanted him to be a part of our special day. We were immediately impressed with his responsiveness to our emails, guidance, and professionalism throughout the entire experience. He gave us some great feedback while planning our ceremony and had many templates and examples for us to work off of. He allowed us to make the ceremony custom to us and our relationship. He also offered pre-marital counseling and I know my husband and I will continue to take advice and input from that session throughout our entire marriage.
Don made our ceremony absolutely perfect. It was the most special, memorable aspect of our wedding day that we will never forget. All of our guests are still commenting about how great of a job Don did, how beautiful it was, and how he truly spoke to my husband, myself, and our entire family. The words were meaningful and sincere and it was everything we could have wished for.
We chose not to have a rehearsal, but the day felt just as smooth as if we had. Don was a critical part of this and delivered a perfectly customized ceremony and executed it flawlessly. He far exceeded our expectations. Don has a warm and calming presence about him that you can feel when you’re around him. We can’t express how pleased we were and how thankful we are to have found him to officiate our wedding. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! -

My officiant dropped out last minute and don could not have been more understanding and accommodating for us. Despite getting just 2 days of notice he did our rehearsal and our ceremony and he did a fantastic job. He has great stage presence and really knows how to speak to a crowd.

Words cannot express how perfect Don made our wedding ceremony. We wanted a very simple and intimate destination beach wedding with only our two teenage kids as guests. Mark and I are from New Jersey and we chose to get married in 30A in Florida. We planned our wedding in one month and we were lucky enough to have been introduced to Don through our Wedding Coordinator Jasmine. Don was able to meet with us via phone and walk us through the process and made sure we had everything we needed for our BIG DAY. He even guided us on what to focus on if we chose to write our own vows - to remember this is a promise. I am Filipino and I wanted my traditions honored at our wedding and Don was very accommodating and did such an AMAZING job the day of our wedding!! He made our day very special! His choice of words for his ceremony, his attention to detail made every moment feel just right. You can feel the love he had for what he does and his belief in marriage and the choice for 2 people to come together. Our ceremony was a small ceremony on the beach with just Mark, myself and our kids- I have 2 boys and he has 2 girls. Don’s light hearted spirit and welcoming presence made everyone - even our children feel special that day. I would highly recommend Don as an officiant for your wedding!! -

Don was so great and we are very happy in our decision to have him marry us! From the beginning, Don was very responsive and helpful. He has examples on his wedding website to mix and match for your ceremony, and will work with you to personalize them if needed. He was very professional and kind. He went through everything with us on our rehearsal night and made that night so stress-free and funny. On the day of the wedding, he was very well spoken and professional. We wanted a short and sweet ceremony, and he was able to accommodate that with ease. After the wedding, he took our marriage license and filed it for us, so we could enjoy being newlyweds and not have to worry about it. Great job by Don, so thankful for him! -

Don came recommended by 30aglow. From the beginning Don was so helpful, patient and very knowledgeable. He was quick to respond to us, very professional but yet very personable. He gave us great advice in writing our own vows. He offered to include a sand ceremony, which we had never heard of before. It truly made our vow renewal ceremony that much more memorable. We eloped 20 years ago and didn't have a typical wedding ceremony. Don made it feel as if we were getting married for the first time. We feel that Don went above and beyond to make it that much more special.

Don officiated our elopement and I couldn’t have asked for someone better. I reached out to him by email and got a response immediately. He was informative, helpful, kind, and very reliable. He dressed nicely (which all brides know is important for photos). He walked us through getting our marriage license because we were from out of state. I can not express how thankful Steven and I are for the absolutely amazing ceremony Rev Don officiated. He is so easy to work with, quick to respond, flexible, knowledgeable, professional, comforting, and all around helpful. I was extremely nervous to stand in front of everyone during my ceremony but Rev Don made my husband and I feel so comfortable. His ceremony was beautiful and felt so true to our relationship. Our parents and guests raved about how incredible the ceremony was. He guided everyone flawlessly through the few steps we had to follow and we already received our marriage license after returning from our honeymoon. -

We have been vacationing in PCB for about the last 10 years. A couple of weeks before this year’s September vacation, we decided we would get married while we were there! Even though we wanted to keep the ceremony simple (no guests), we still wanted a Christian minister to perform it….not just an officiant. So glad we found Rev. Don! He was just what we were looking for and he was willing to drive over an hour and a half to meet us at St. Andrew’s State Park. He was quick to respond to my emails leading up to the wedding. We found him to be friendly, personable, and easy to work with. His price was very reasonable, as well. Since we had no guests, he even took a couple of pictures for us after the ceremony! Don was introduced to my husband and I through a mutual friend that went to a wedding he officiated prior to ours. She was very impressed with him and told us about him. Don was great. He assisted with answering questions we had. He was available when we needed to touch bases. He was reasonably priced. Great personality. He has positive energy and we feel he really cared about assisting with making our day special. He completed the marriage license filing process for us, allowing us not to stress about it.
