Don Goodrum will work with brides and grooms to create a unique ceremony that reflects their hopes, dreams, personalities, and commitment to each other. Don trained at the Midwest Baptist Theological Seminary and was licensed as a Southern Baptist minister in 1984. In 2002, he was ordained through the Universal Life Church.

Don is passionate about helping you craft a wedding that feels right to you and your partner. From traditional vows on the beach to Star Trek-themed ceremonies, this officiant has done it all. Your vows can be customized to your desires, or you are welcome to use a template. As someone who considers himself to be God’s representative in your wedding proceedings, Don does ask that you acknowledge Him on some level during the celebration. Weddings As You Wish also serves as a registered premarital counselor.

Best Wedding Officiant We Could Have Asked For
Don made our ceremony absolutely perfect. It was the most special, memorable aspect of our wedding day that we will never forget. All of our guests are still commenting about how great of a job Don did, how beautiful it was, and how he truly spoke to my husband, myself, and our entire family. The words were meaningful and sincere and it was everything we could have wished for.
We chose not to have a rehearsal, but the day felt just as smooth as if we had. Don was a critical part of this and delivered a perfectly customized ceremony and executed it flawlessly.
