Every detail about our ceremony was crafted to perfection by Scott. The last thing I wanted was a stuffy and rigid ceremony, and he managed to take our story and tell it in an exquisite way which made people laugh and cry. His candor and professionalism made us feel comfortable and definitely helped with the nerves. Communication was flawless, and his preparation helped guide us in making the best choices for us. Outstanding. Highly recommend!
Scott was outstanding!! He was very professional and had a great sense of humor. He brought positive energy and relieved the stress planning the wedding, as well as during the ceremony. He was very organized, and knowledgeable. He made sure we (as the bride and groom) were prepared and had several great reminders that we overlooked. He helped layout our ceremony space to make it look perfect. Scott came up with creative ideas to personalize our destination wedding. The script he prepared for the wedding ceremony was far beyond what we expected. Scott perfectly outlined our love story while mixing in a great sense of humor. Also, without being asked he held the train of my dress while I grabbed food and brought us water throughout the hot Florida day. We worked with George at Weddings and Wellness and he did an excellent job officiating our ceremony! He met with us several times over Zoom and in person leading up to the big day to learn our story as a couple and ensure that the speech felt personal to us. He listened very carefully and understood what we wanted & needed. It all culminated in many happy tears and laughs from us, our families and all our guests. George was also very professional and a huge help in keeping us on schedule, ensuring we knew where to go/what to do, helped us write our own vows, etc. Thanks for everything, we will cherish the memories forever!Weddings and Wellness's reply:

Scott was absolutely amazing. I didn’t know where to look for an officiant. I looked on the knot and he had great reviews. I got on a call with him to see if it would be a good fit and he blew our expectations out of the water. He is very detailed and was very easy to talk to. He went over everything! When it got closer to the wedding we got on a call and went over how my fiancé and I met, how we felt about each other, and went over exactly how the ceremony would go before it happened! Our ceremony was everything I could ask for and more! He made our ceremony fun and you could tell our friends and family were very engaged. Scott stayed after the ceremony which was something that doesn’t go unnoticed. He could have just left after the ceremony but you can tell how much he cares. My husband and I have nothing but kind and positive things to say with our experience with Reverend Scott. He was very accommodating and flexible when meeting with us to discuss the ceremony. He also made the time and effort to personalize the ceremony to fit our personalities, values, and love story.
Additionally, he took the initiative to connect with the wedding coordinator to discuss the timeline and layout of the day for the ceremony. He went above and beyond when he noticed that my husband and I were so caught up with taking photos with family during cocktail hour and grabbed us some appetizers and drinks. It really shows he extends his care beyond the ceremony to support the couple. His attentiveness and kindness towards us from planning the ceremony to the day of was phenomenal and we are so happy that we chose Reverend Scott as our officiant!!Weddings and Wellness's reply:

Scott officiated our wedding on Sept 13th. From the day we spoke with him months before, he made us feel comfortable with him and his abilities. We were chatting and laughing like old friends within minutes! He took the time to know us and our story to put together a ceremony that was perfectly us. Scott was not only friendly, but he was also professional, timely and accommodating. We had a lot in our ceremony (guest vows, regular vows, rind exchanges, hand fasting/binding, and a sword ceremony) and he handled it all flawlessly and worked with our requests and made it all very natural. From the initial contact of me leaving him a voicemail, he texted me as soon as he could to let me know he was about to step into a wedding but wanted to talk to us more, instead of just ignoring us until later. He spoke about our wants and needs and who we were, and once booked with him, he also made time to do a relationship "check in" with us and just see how we are doing, etc. and offered a lot of really good tips and perspective on ourselves and the relationship we hadn't realized before. He made sure we were happy with the plan for the wedding, the verbiage, etc. He was very thorough. They ceremony went great and while we were worried it would see like we had too much going on, it was natural. And I'm glad it didn't just speed by. He helped us while we were getting our pictures taken and got us or held whatever we needed then. He even filed our certificate for us, which was very helpful! 10/10 recommend!Weddings and Wellness's reply:

From the moment we spoke to Scott on the phone we knew we found our guy! It felt as if we had known him for years. I initially reached out to him based on his reviews I was seeing and they were all right. Scott dove in to ask all the important questions to get to know us. Something which was just magnified as it got closer to our day with our multiple emails, phone calls and our final Zoom chat. He was able to capture the pieces of us we wanted and also allowed room for us to add our final touches to make it all authentically us. Between all the nervous emails and texts, Scott went above and beyond to ease my mind and remind me that everything is going to be beautiful. Even the day of, when each of us met Scott in person, he was there like a cheerleader/coach/bestie on the sidelines reminding us to breathe and a to take a minute to remember each moment and take it all in. He was even like my Man Of Honor, fixing my dress and handing my bouquet off! We couldn't be happier with our choice in selecting someone to bring us together on our special day. Scott was great! He went above and beyond our expectations, working with my husband and I on pre martial counseling. We had fun, and he helped us dive deeper into our relationship emotionally and through different problem solving techniques. I really feel like I grew closer to my husband through these zoom calls with Scott.
A week before the wedding we dropped off our wedding certificate to Scott, he met us at Iceburg Cold plunge in St Pete to sauna and cold plunge with us! Before the wedding he asked us questions I did not even think about that we needed to consider before wedding day. He sent us the whole script ahead of time for us to review and let us pick out the Bible verses we wanted to incorporate. He stated our story about Alex ( my nowhusband ) so well! He made it funny and sentimental at the same time. Truly amazing how he incorporated crowd emotion into the ceremony. EVERYONE SAID IT WAS THE BEST CEREMONY, the way he delivered the speech, got the crowd involved and made it the perfect not too long, not too short.
I would 100 percent recommend Scott to be your wedding officiant! Do a couple of counseling sessions and you wont regret it!!!

Rev. Scott is INCREDIBLE!! - Where to even begin!! My husband and I were super nervous trying to find the perfect officiant for our wedding since we were going very outside the norm of a traditional ceremony. Also we lived in CT and we’re getting married in FL so trusting someone that we wouldn’t meet until the day of, was very scary. - We came across Rev. Scott on wedding wire and was blown away by how many styles of wedding ceremonies he has done and offers. We set up a zoom meeting to discuss what we were looking for and to simply get to know each other. After that meeting, we knew we were in great hands. From there he sent us a page of questions for us to fill out individually to help tell our story from both of our point of views. He was super organized and answered our emails/texts in such a timely manner. - Then the big day came and since we were having a more relaxed wedding, (jeans, a vest and cowboy boots for the men), Rev Scott was nervous about what to wear haha. But let me tell you, he won “outfit of the day” from everyone and was just an all around joy to have at the wedding. He truly went ABOVE AND BEYOND! He was even bringing max and I beverages and passed hors d’oeuvres while we were doing picture. He was just the perfect fit for our wedding and we could not have picked a better person to tell our story and share our big day with. Thank you so so much Rev. Our Officiant Scott Made Our Big Day Pure Magic.
We cannot recommend our officiant Scott highly enough! He made our wedding absolutely magical and went above and beyond. From our very first meeting, Scott took the time to get to know my husband and I on a personal level and provided thoughtful premarital counseling tailored to us. During our 4 sessions prior to our wedding, he helped us realize things about our relationship that we didn't know existed. We learned a lot from Scott during those sessions leading up to our wedding.
On our wedding day, Scott delivered the most touching, heartfelt ceremony about love and commitment I could have imagined. He told the sweetest story about how my husband proposed to me and how we met, weaving in personal details that made our guests laugh and cry. He had everyone so wrapped up in our love story, you could feel the emotion and joy in the room.
Even after the ceremony ended, Scott stuck around during our entire photo session, holding my shoes and bringing us drinks, cracking jokes while my husband and I took pictures on the beach. He felt like part of the family and his presence made everything more fun and relaxed.
Scott's warm personality, professionalism and genuine care for our relationship as a couple made our wedding ceremony unique and unforgettable. If you want an officiant who connects with you personally and creates magical moments, Scott is simply the best. Scott was a life saver for us on our big day. My dress had a loop pop and it took us over an hour to fix it, which of course delayed our ceremony. However, Scott helped smooth things over by keeping guests up to date and our ceremony went on like the wait didn't even happen. I could not say enough great things about Scott’s performance and at our wedding and his help getting ready for our wedding! He was definitely one of best things about my wedding and I got SO many compliments about him. He made our ceremony into a love story! Rev. Scott! I don’t know where to begin with everything - you played a MAJOR role in our wedding. And me being the person I am it was hard to let go and have faith - When my now husband came to me and said I found this guy you gotta give him a chance - I was like we will see - I wanted a bilangual speaker. But, I seen his pictures I was like he has a nice smile - he seems funny I’ll give him a shot. So, our first conversation I was SUPER quiet - I didn’t know what to say I’m like of course he’s gonna tell us everything we wanted to hear. But, then I began to open up and he was asking me questions and as we finished our call he let us know what to look for even in an officiant - we said we’d talk about it and give him a call back. After that call me and my husband looked at each other and immediately knew he was our guy. Although, we still wanted to take into consideration others, but the strive that you here in his voice. The light you see in his eyes when talking to you shows that he genuinely cares! He informed us of literally EVERYTHING you can think of - you may think you know everything but you don’t… He wanted the names of everyone he was going to be meeting - made sure to tell us what questions to ask - how to make sure things are getting done. Our expectations from everyone even the DJ who was not apart of our ceremony. Just to make sure our day was as special as it was. He is someone who genuinely cares about your day and how it goes. Whether he is going to be there to enjoy that part or not. I got so many compliments from everyone about how great he was. Thank you! You literally put the cherry on top of everything for the day of our wedding and we are soo grateful we had you as our officiant. Oh and the wooden bow tie I got all the compliments for you lol. Scott had us write our love story by answering questions about our relationship so that he could get to know us. We really enjoyed answering these questions together because we got to reflect on our relationship and share our feelings and thoughts about each other. Rev. Scott then used our answers to those questions to write our ceremony. The ceremony he wrote us was exactly what we wanted – the perfect mix of seriousness and humor. He told our love story in a way that helped everyone learn more about us as a couple. We’ve had so many people ask us how we found Rev. Scott, and they can’t believe we haven’t known him for years. Every person we talked to at our reception told us how beautiful our ceremony was and how much they liked Rev. Scott.
I didn’t think about it before our wedding, but your officiant is in the background of all your ceremony pictures. Rev. Scott has an awesome personality, great speaking voice, and is a nice dresser! His wonderful personality shines through our wedding pictures – just look at mine! Rev. We chose Scott for our wedding at Railto Theater in Tampa, FL in January 2022. We knew from our initial consulting conversation that it was an easy decision to go with Scott - his energy, flexibility and experience gave us confidence he would give us exactly the ceremony we were looking for. My wife and I are high school sweethearts and Scott offered a "storytelling" ceremony approach which we thought was perfect for us. Scott truly made our wedding day special. From our first communications with him over the phone we immediately clicked. Scott is extremely personable, in fact, you feel like you have known him your entire life. His attention to detail was greatly appreciated and noted not only during all communications but also during the rehearsal as well as our ceremony. Leading up to our wedding Scott sent over example ceremony ideas, scripts, and a sheet that guided us through writing our own love story. Scott utilized the details of our love story to beautifully incorporate it into our ceremony, it was SO VERY personalized. He sent the script of our ceremony over a few days prior to our big day for review…I cried reading it. For someone to put that much effort into making our ceremony so personalized, it was touching. We met him for the first time in person at our rehearsal and boy am I glad we scheduled a rehearsal with him! He made everything make sense and really made us both feel so much more comfortable leading up to the actual big day. It rained on our wedding day Scott rolled with it, we ended up not being able to have our ceremony in the original planned site but that didn't stop Scott from a perfect execution at the new site! Rain or shine he would have made it happen without flaw! Our guests raved about Scott! They loved how fun and personal our ceremony was. During our first kiss Scott graciously moved out of the way for photos. This is a small but notable detail when looking into an officiant for your big day. Scott was even so kind as to bring us waters! Ron and I are so grateful to have met you, Scott! Thank you so much!

He contacted us the day before our wedding and used past experiences to give us the best experience ever. Rev. Scott married my husband and I this past February 2020 in a perfect rooftop ceremony at the Westin Tampa Bay. He was extremely comfortable to speak with, prompt in getting back to us and did all that hand-holding through the whole process that help ease nerves! He was super professional, lighthearted and did a phenomenal job with our ceremony. We opted to do a few marriage counseling classes prior to tying the knot and were glad we did. We had to postpone our wedding ceremony due to Covid-19 and he married us privately with out parents present and will be marrying us again For our postpones ceremony at a later date. Rev. Scott is truly passionate about weddings and it shows! He is so charismatic and friendly. He was responsive throughout the entire process and really worked with us to create a ceremony that reflected who we are as a couple. I was worried at first that my very religious and conservative father would disprove of anyone other than a pastor, but from the moment he met Rev. Scott - he was completely at ease! Scott created a personal ceremony for us that was not only touching but memorable. He preformed our rehearsal and ceremony. He also does all the other important things to file your marriage certificate. We felt comfortable with him and he has a warm ease about him. We don’t have a church pastor so it was important to have someone who made us feel comfortable. I can not recommend Scott enough! We didn’t meet Scott until the day of our wedding and, after an initial phone conversation with him before hiring him, we had primarily communicated over email. He provided us some example ceremony scripts, and was happy to piece different portions of them together for us, as well as customize a portion that we wanted to include to recognize both of our parents’ long-lasting marriages. On the day of our wedding, he arrived early and spent some time practicing the script on his own while we all waited for the ceremony to begin. He executed perfectly! Scott has a lovely voice and demeanor about him. We got several compliments from our guests about how good he was and asking where we found him. There were 2 things in particular that stood about about Scott, that sound so small but are SUCH important details. The first, he asked our guests to be seated when I arrived at the altar (it’s so awkward when the officiant doesn’t address this in weddings and guests stay standing when the ceremony begins). Second, when he announced us as “husband and wife” and we went in for our first kiss, he stepped completely out of the way so that he wouldn’t be seen in the background of our photos. I hadn’t thought of this, but after receiving our photos, I am so grateful for this small but oh so important consideration. Thank you so much, Scott!Weddings and Wellness's reply:
