Great experience!

Ryan was incredible to have capturing our wedding! We were super happy with both of the cuts we received. It has been so much fun to get to look back at all of the little memories of our wedding day. Ryan made us both feel very comfortable. He was great at getting the footage he needed, but didn't make us feel like he was all over us or there was a camera in our faces. Ryan is a super nice guy and we were so happy we went with him!

Ryan O’Connor videographer!

Ryan O’Connor is an absolutely incredible wedding videographer! He made us feel so relaxed throughout the day! His footage is incredible and he gave us a phenomenal 5 minute “highlight reel” as well as a full length video! Highly recommend Ryan! Ryan was the best videographer we could have chosen!

Ryan captured our wedding this past summer, and the videos we got back from him were so much more than we could have asked for! He captured all the small moments that had gone unnoticed or forgotten about in the busyness of the day. He also gave us all the raw footage in addition to the videos he made, which we are so happy about. We got to choose all the music for our videos, which made them so special and meaningful to us. He also has a hilarious sense of humor and incredible editing skills. The videos he made were the perfect mix of heartfelt and goofy, making us laugh and cry. We couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. Ryan also made a point to get to know us ahead of our wedding so we were totally comfortable with him on our wedding day. We would highly recommend Ryan for any videography needs!

The best videographer this side of the Mississippi!

Ryan captured our day to perfection! His ability to film while somehow remaining out of site and out of mind is just what we wanted for our wedding day. The only way I can describe Ryan’s style of editing is “WOW”. Our entire family has loved watching both our trailer and full-day edit, even getting laughs from some of Ryan’s unique add-ins. Fantastic Videographer!!

Working with Ryan/Wedding Video by RJO was fantastic from start to finish. We received his info from a friend who used him at her wedding, and after speaking with him I knew we need not look any further. He was our easiest vendor to work with from day one. He was so quick to answer my questions during the entire wedding planning process, and was always willing to make suggestions. He even goes above and beyond. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to do the question add on, so he said “let’s film it and if I feel like we get good content, I’ll let you know and you can decide then.” The day of the wedding he was timely, fun and so nice. I joke that he must be really good at his job because once the day started going, I don’t remember seeing him or the camera(s) other than to check in, but he truly captured every single moment!! We were blown away by the content we received and it beyond exceeded our expectations. He lined our songs up with moments/things that were said during our day, which was such a nice touch. If you’re looking for a videographer, hire Ryan. He takes pride in what he does, communicates very well and delivers exceptional content!!!! Thank you SO much, Ryan. We will treasure these videos always.

Can't recommend Video by RJO enough!

Ryan has now been the videographer for mine and my 2 siblings' weddings, and there's clearly a reason for that. His work is amazing and allowed us to relive the little parts of our day that slipped our mind through the craziness of a wedding. Not only is Ryan so talented, but he is an absolute joy to work with. As an event planner myself, I'm very picky with vendors and he exceeded all my expectations. He's communicative, kind, gifted, and really cares about his clients. Videography for our wedding was a must, and hiring Ryan was a no-brainer. We are so grateful for how he perfectly captured our day!

Wedding videography

Ryan was the videographer for my sisters wedding back in 2018. I loved his work then and love it even more now! Ryan did such an amazing job on our wedding trailer and full wedding video! He even sent our trailer a week prior than we expected which was such an awesome surprise! If you're searching for a videographer for your special day Ryan is the guy! He was very personable and super fun to work with! We are so grateful for Ryan and can't thank him enough for perfectly capturing the best day of our lives!

Amazing Talent

I can not say enough about how thankful we are that we got to work with Ryan. He is a great person with amazing talent. His sense of humor and calming manner made our day that much more comfortable and smooth. He was able to go with the flow and was professional. He’s quick to respond and is so kind. We love our videos and watch them all the time. I love being able to relive that day whenever I want! We’re so blessed to have these because let’s face it, the day of goes by so quickly and you are not truly able to capture it all yourself. Simply amazing!

Ryan was absolutely wonderful. He was professional, personable, easily accessible, and talented. Ryan’s videography perfectly encompassed our wedding day. We watch our wedding trailer CONSTANTLY and we still just can’t get enough of it. Ryan was so kind during our whole hectic day and remained calm throughout. Loved Working with Ryan!

Ryan was recommended to us by our wedding photographer, and we're so glad they pointed us in his direction.

Working with Ryan was wonderful from the beginning. He was incredibly responsive via e-mail, answering any questions we had and working through the details and timeline of our wedding day. He made it clear what information he needed from us, and was really flexible and responsive to any questions or needs we had.

The day of the wedding he was there to capture everything, with us barely even noticing! I attended another wedding over the summer where the videographer's attempts to capture moments at the reception were actually very distracting. Ryan got incredible footage of every part of our day, without impacting the experience of us or our guests.

He had our wedding trailer completed earlier than we expected - We got married in early November, and had the trailer by Thanksgiving, so we could share it with our family at the holiday, which was great. And we just finished watching our full video last night, which was BEAUTIFUL. Ryan captured each part of the day artfully and honestly. We loved watching different special moments from throughout the day - speeches of course, but also the moment we met up with our dog for pictures, and candid moments between my husband and I, and even between us and our bridal party.

Working with Ryan was wonderful from start to finish, and I would highly recommend him. Choosing him as our videographer was one of the best choices we made for our wedding, and we're so thrilled to have these video memories of our wedding to enjoy for the many years to come.

Beyond my expectations

I cannot say enough good things about Ryan! We just received our wedding trailer and it instantly gave me chills. The amount of details that were captured is outstanding. My husband and I both agreed that you will not even notice or realize Ryan is there , yet somehow he managed to capture our wedding perfectly. Best Choice We Made!!!

I cannot say enough about how amazing RJO Photography was! I am SO incredibly happy that we decided to hire a videographer, it was honestly the best choice we made about our wedding. Ryan's work is ridiculously good and he is SO affordable. Watching our wedding trailer is like reliving our wedding day - it's absolutely irreplaceable. Our full day DVD is definitely one of our most prized possessions! There are so many moments on your wedding day that you miss or just can't remember because there's just so much going on - but when you can sit down a few months later and relive all those special and funny moments, it's priceless. Best Wedding Videographer

Ryan did a spectacular job filming our wedding! Right off the bat, his pricing was extremely reasonable and he was very responsive. I expressed concern to him about having a videographer as I didn’t like how distracting they can sometimes be at weddings. He assured me this wouldn’t be an issue. Sure enough, when we got our highlights reel, I was shocked at how close and personal the footage was during our cake cutting and dances....I hadn’t even noticed he was in the room let alone nearby! I was also quite impressed with our video edits. My husband and I aren’t the sappy type and I felt Ryan figured this out all on his own. Our highlights reel was filled with humorous moments that happened throughout the evening and finished with touching footage of just the two of us. Ryan surpassed our expectations; we were so thankful we booked with him!

Highly recommend this videographer!

Ryan did a wonderful job capturing our wedding day! We were so glad we booked him as our videographer and even more thankful when we watched our trailer, highlight reel and final full video. Ryan was well prepared and very responsive prior to the wedding. We had a 12 hour polish wedding with many polish speaking events/speeches family all around and he was able to capture it all.

An Absolutely Incredible Videographer

My wife and I cannot emphasize enough what an incredible job RJO Videography did for our wedding. From the start, Ryan was incredibly informative and helped us determine what package worked best for us. He was consistently prompt with any replies to questions we had and was beyond flexible as we shared our wedding agenda and specifics with him.

On the Wedding day, it was like Ryan wasn't even there, and I say that as the highest of compliments. Ryan's ability to capture every important detail of our wedding day while not being "right in your face" was remarkable. Our wedding video did not miss a single important moment from our day and I could not have told you Ryan was even in the area to capture the shots we saw. His ability to blend in and let the day and moments unfold organically was truly special for us. Nothing on our video was orchestrated by him, everything was natural and he made sure he didn't miss it.

The quality of his footage and the full video edit created from all the footage left us speechless. We had the wedding our our dreams and Ryan was able to capture every moment and create a memory that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. RJO Videography will be our only recommendation for any future events for our family and friends with videography needs and we cannot recommend using Ryan enough! Thank you Ryan for everything you did for us!

RJO Photo & Video doesn't disappoint!

Ryan (RJO Photo & Video) was hands down the easiest vendor that I had to work with for my wedding. Since day one, he was answering all of my questions very quickly and offering helpful suggestions. I can honestly admit that I was bombarding him with questions and never once did he seem annoyed and he always responded in a helpful and prompt manner. Also, although we had never met in person, when he arrived on my wedding day, he was very easy to talk to and he has a calm and easy going demeanor. Not only is he personable, but his videography skills will leave you breathless. He captured all of the best parts that made my day special and he was able to integrate them together so that they flowed effortlessly. I am so glad that I made the decision to book with him. It's a decision that I will never regret and it was worth every penny.

We highly, highly recommend working with Ryan! From the start, he was extremely professional and really reasonably priced compared to other videographers. We ended up booking him only two weeks before our wedding and he handled this last minute addition with grace! He was easy to communicate with and incredibly responsive. The day of our wedding he did an awesome job. He was personable, worked well with our photographer, had a great sense of humor, and super go-with-the-flow. The best part about working with Ryan was his finished product - our video footage is STUNNING and so creative! We love our trailer and have played it over and over again. We also love the full day edit, it is so nice to have our entire day captured and condensed! I really don’t even know where to start my review of RJO photography. My wedding video is definitely my favorite item I got to take away from my wedding day. Ryan did such an amazing job capturing every amazing moment of our day. He really seemed to care about how the day turned out and went above and beyond with things, like keeping us on track when we were running behind, and setting up my dress, shoes, and jewelry by himself to make sure we had time to get them in shots. I just couldn’t have asked for a better experience! When we got the trailer video we were head over heals in excitement, and I didn’t really think it could get better than that. Then I saw the full day video.. I can’t believe he made that long of a video so perfect. We laughed most of the time, and shed a few tears as well. It was so nice seeing everything because there’s some things you forget, and there’s some things you never notice. It’s so nice to recap on how magical of a day it was, and see all of the real smiles and kisses! I’m so glad we chose to go with Ryan because as I said before, it’s my favorite thing we have from our wedding day :)

Ryan shot our wedding at the end of August, and I cannot say enough good things about him and the video he put together! He was quick to respond to our inquiry and answer our questions leading up to the wedding, and we knew he had the right attitude and personality to record our day. We had a fun and relaxed wedding, complete with lightsaber wielding bridesmaids and kilted groomsmen, and he captured the atmosphere perfectly. He added some really great touches to our video, like a Star Wars intro and funny, candid footage of guests that we never would have otherwise seen. We highly recommend hiring RJO!

Videographer Ryan was great! He was super responsive and professional, and we love the finished product! Our wedding video trailer captures the key highlights from our day and is well coordinated to our first dance song. After seeing the raw footage, it is super impressive to see how he cut and sliced seconds of clips to form it all together in a story. Friends of mine who weren't at the wedding commented that the trailer made them feel like they were celebrating along with us! The raw footage gave us highlights of getting ready, taking group pictures, and dancing, as well as the full ceremony audio. We are so happy that we have this video to watch on our anniversaries and treasure for years to come!

A wedding video is the most important thing to invest in for your big day. Time flies by and you won't remember half of the day, but having a video will help you remember everything. RJO Photo is by far, the best in the MidWest. Multiple high quality cameras, very fair pricing, top quality skills, friendly attitude, and HD footage. Ryan is a one man machine, so you know you will get the same quality that other wedding videos on his site show.
After I met Ryan the morning of my wedding, I felt confident that he was going to capture everything and I didn't need to worry about anything. He exceeded our expectations. He was like a ninja. I never saw him, but he was always filming- and filming with multiple cameras! When I watch our wedding trailer, I'm amazed at how he could have captured different moments at so many different angles. He really is magical. And then- his editing skills! He put together a trailer that highlighted the entire day and the way he put it together matched up perfectly with the song. This is by far, my favorite treasure from our wedding day. Ryan did an amazing job as our wedding videographer. He was unobtrusive and I didn't even notice that he set up a second camera for the ceremony until we watched our video! He was professional, arrived early, pleasant to work with, reasonably priced, and delivered on-time our disc. His add on prices were also reasonable for a flash drive.

Two months later, watching our wedding bluray brought tears to our eyes. It was absolutely beautiful and though our day was as perfect as it could be (while missing the reception because one of the bride's grew ill and had to leave for the ER), it was nice to have a pleasant send off with a positive message at the end.

The video was edited seamlessly with nice transitions and music.

Ryan was always in contact with us and quick to respond.

I would definitely recommend Ryan and RJO Photo & Video to anyone looking for a videographer, especially for your wedding day. My only gripe is that I wish I would have upgraded and gotten the trailer along with the full video.

It would be a mistake to look any further than RJO photo and video! Ryan was our videographer for our July 9th wedding. He was prompt, professional, and so easy to work with. Ryan was so flexible to work with-my husband and I got ready at two different locations, and he went back and forth between the two with no complaint! He was so professional and unobtrusive, i didn't really notice him at all-which is exactly what a videographer should be doing. When I saw the trailer of the video, it brought tears to my eyes. Ryan managed to capture and edit the footage so that every moment was recorded in the trailer-it was so well done that I would almost be happy with just that! I found Ryan from RJO Photo through his videography work. I hired him immediately, and he was the videographer for our wedding. I couldn't have been more impressed with his work, and the price was great. Ryan is great to work with, he made everything very simple leading up to our big day which is super helpful when managing many different vendors. We were initially on the fence about having a videographer at all for our wedding but we are definitely happy that we ended up going with Ryan. He fit in our budget and captured all of the special moments of our big day. He put together a great trailer video that we can share with family and friends! I would definitely recommend him!

Ryan was a great videographer to work with. His process was low key, but he was very attentive and flexible, making it low stress for me. I hired him because I knew he had done my friend's wedding and their highlight video turned out great. When I got my video, I was just as happy with the end result. Not only that, but Ryan was very pleasant and willing to help us find solutions when we encountered some issues playing the disc he sent us in the mail. Overall, I'm very happy with the service he provided and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great videographer at a reasonable price!

We knew we wanted a videographer for our wedding, but were unable to find someone with good quality that was within our budget. So we were starting to feel like we would go without. But Ryan was very flexible with us and delivered a great quality video plus we got to keep all of our footage which was the greatest! He captured our day perfectly and we will treasure it forever! We have had countless people tell us it is the best wedding video they have ever seen!

Videographer

Ryan was wonderful at the beginning of our process and then completely ghosted us. He delivered our video over six weeks after the time promised in the contract and it took us multiple attempts to even reach him. When he finally delivered the video, the quality was awful and when we reached back out to him multiple times to make changes, he completely ghosted us. My husband and I are both business owners and we were very reasonable with him. Beyond unprofessional behavior on his part.
