He was the first vendor we booked - we knew he was the man for the job!

Jon was the absolute best officiant we could have ever asked with! He worked with us over the months leading up to the wedding on the order of service for the ceremony (including picking out our vows) and it ended up being absolutely wonderful!

You can tell he knows what he's doing and feels comfortable speaking in front of large crowds (200 people for us). He had the perfect balance of serious and humorous to lighten the mood -- which is honestly needed in such a serious moment, sometimes ceremonies can feel rather stuffy especially if you're not writing your own vows.

We had so many people come up to us during the reception telling us how great our officiant was and we couldn't agree more. You can't go wrong with having a professional marry you and your soulmate, especially Jon!

Absolutely Amazing!

All I can say is THANK YOU JON! He officiated over our wedding in early January. From the start of our interaction to the "'I do's" it was absolutely flawless. It felt more like a best friend taking our hand and walking us thru the entire process start to finish. He was incredibly delightful & beyond helpful and everything more than we couldve ever asked for. We are so happy we decided to go with him on our most important day, it could not have been any better and I mean that with genuine gratitude.

We were truly impressed with Officiant John’s instructions and guidance during the ceremony rehearsal. He was not only exceptionally prepared, but genuinely passionate about what he does. It was clear that he cared deeply about every individual detail, thoughtfully weaving them together to create such a meaningful and memorable wedding experience. John explained each step with intention and clarity, highlighting the moments that truly matter during the ceremony.

He ensured the entire process felt seamless, graceful, and stress-free. One of the things that stood out most was his consistent use of positive affirmation throughout the rehearsal and ceremony. He never failed to acknowledge what we were doing right, which boosted the confidence and calm of the entire wedding party.

The best!

My husband and I are very happy that we picked Jon as our wedding officiant. During our initial meeting he walked us thought the whole process. He spent time understanding my husband and I and prepared a custom ceremony for us that even included some Greek traditional. Truly grateful to have Jon be a part of our special day.

Simply Amazing!

What can I say? Jon was simply amazing! Our intimate garden wedding should have been smooth sailing… but as we all know, even the best-laid plans can go a little sideways. Amid the chaos, Jon truly made our day feel special!

As soon as he took the reins and the ceremony began, I instantly felt at ease. His calm presence, professionalism, and kindness grounded the whole moment. We dealt with a few difficult vendors throughout our planning, but working with Jon was effortless. He was responsive, flexible, and genuinely cared about getting everything right — which meant the world to us.

He handled everything perfectly, including the unexpected! Which involved a neighbour’s rooster and movie special-effects sounds blasting from the next garden over! It all ended up adding character to our ceremony in the most hilarious and memorable way.

Jon was incredible. We’re so grateful that he was part of our day. We are so thankful and lucky to have found him. We highly recommended Jon to anyone looking for a warm, composed, and genuinely caring officiant!

The best officiant!

Jon was fantastic and an absolute pro! During the consultation call, he walked us through all of the steps, answered all of our questions, and after discussing with us what we wanted, he gave us a detailed document of the ceremony procession. When we had to change our venue unexpectedly 2 months before the wedding, he was very sympathetic and understanding. On the wedding day, he came on time and did his job very well. We were really happy with his professionalism and he’s also just a super nice guy!

Amazing Wedding Experience!!

Fantastic officiant!

We had a great experience with Jon as our officiant! He guided us through the process of creating our ceremony (in our case non-religious, but he has different options for religious ceremonies if that's what you're looking for) with easy to follow forms and a phone consultation, and was very responsive and clear whenever we had questions. He brought great personality and light humor to our ceremony, and was incredibly kind and thoughtful in his remarks and overall conduct - we got multiple compliments from guests on him right after the ceremony! I can definitely recommend working with Jon!

We chose Jon as our wedding officiant over a couple of other highly rated officiants for our recent wedding August 2024. During our initial meeting with Jon, he really wanted to know us, what was important to us for our ceremony and gave us suggestions if we needed them. He’s not only an expert at officiating weddings, he’s also very personable, humorous, has a distinguished presence and a nice and clear speaking voice. We had our wedding at the end of May 2024 and easily one of the best decisions we made was to have Jon onboard as our officiant. Amazing and Accommodating Officiant

We needed an officiant in a very short period of time for our wedding and Jon came through for us in an amazing way. He was very responsive during the build up to the big day, as well as accommodating due to the last minute nature of the request. He worked with us through out the days leading up to the wedding to ensure the wedding went according to our preferences and values.

On the of the wedding day, he delivered! He was kind, funny and made sure the ceremony went smoothly. He arrived on time, was very knowledgeable about what to do with our license and also submitted it for us in time with no hiccups and we got our certificate a few weeks after. Great Officiant!

I would absolutely recommend Jon as an officiant! Jon's process for planning the ceremony was so helpful in guiding us through the decisions to make sure our ceremony was exactly what we wanted. The Best Officiant Out There!

After combing through several wedding review sites, such as you are probably doing right now, my fiancé and I came across Jon’s website. After our initial Zoom meeting with him, we felt very comfortable with choosing him as our officiant. He’s professional, warm, flexible, courteous, charming and compassionate. He’s been doing this for many years now and it shows. The entire process from A to Z was seamless and he guided us through every step of the way. We eventually opted to write our own vows, but he was prepared with several to choose from. For the ceremony we wanted a hint of spirit and religion, but not too much, and Jon certainly delivered. He’s a natural up there and it made us feel as relaxed as possible. It definitely felt like he was in our corner giving us support and encouragement in his own way on the most special day of our lives. We would highly recommend Jon’s services to anyone getting married, you won’t regret it!

Wonderful Experience

Fun and Memorable

Jon Olson was the perfect officiant for our wedding. We first found him on Google while searching for Wedding Officiants in Redondo Beach. He is friendly, humorous and professional. My husband and I really enjoyed listening to his speech/advice on how to make a marriage last. It was realistic and practical. He has such a cool vibe. Exceptional!

Jon is exceptional, a rare person with a rare talent! My partner and I wanted to do things “Off-the Cuff” and have a very spontaneous wedding (no rehearsals, no written vows, just wing it and have fun with each other). We both have a good sense of humor and wanted to pick and joke with each other during vows and Jon easily kept up with us as we turned our wedding vows into something akin to a roller-coaster ride with twists and turns and lots and lots of FUN! Jon was simply amazing with his natural ability to just join in the fun and hop on the ride with us. And we even found out that Jon has his own sense of humor! He jumped right in and made us laugh with his own spontaneous comments. Jon is truly an amazing person and Officiate! He is well deserving of every 5 star rating he gets. That being said, we will gratefully and lovingly add our own 5 star rating to the others who have been so very blessed to have him as their officiate. Just get Jon for your special day and then relax and leave the rest to this true professional. The moment we got him for our wedding, all our concerns or worries about anything vanished. Our Wedding with Jon

Our wedding ceremony with Jon as officiant was simply perfect! We are a French couple (with a decent level in English). We were able to choose the course of the ceremony via documents that he provided to us, it was very easy and there were many possibilities. He moved to the place we had chosen without any problem, he was very friendly. Jon speaks very well and we understood everything well, it was very appreciable for foreigners.

Best Officiant!

Choosing someone to marry us was a major concern for my wife and I when we were planning our wedding. We had been looking at different places for several weeks, but no one really seemed like the right fit. We eventually came across Jon Olson and given his expansive amount of experience, we decided to go with him. It ended up being one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding. Jon was professional and attentive. He understood the demands and stress that come from wedding planning and he made every accommodation he could to make the experience more manageable for us. Jon took the time to get to know us, and answered all of the questions and concerns we had. It was evident that he truly was an expert in his field and this put us at ease.

On the big day, Jon arrived early and was the epitome of professional throughout the entire ceremony. He did a wonderful job of incorporating all the elements we wanted into our ceremony while keeping it lively and engaging. After the ceremony and in the days and weeks following our wedding, dozens of friends and family members commented on how much they enjoyed the ceremony and Jon’s message. Jon made big promises for our wedding and delivered on all of them. From making us feel at ease and comfortable before, during, and after the wedding, to improvising last minute when we threw him for a loop. Jon not only held his own, but when we made the last-minute decision to not do our own vows due to nerves, with zero preparation or notice, Jon stepped up without skipping a beat. Professional and detail-oriented!

Wonderful officiant!

Jon was a wonderful officiant at our October wedding! It is so easy to get lost in the details of the reception (colors, signage, flowers, etc.) that sometimes it felt like the ceremony can fall on the back-burner from a planning perspective. My husband and I had our initial call with Jon, and he really got us so focused and excited about the ceremony. He presented us with terrific options ranging from secular to religious, and then also worked with us to incorporate our cultural traditions in a way that was really special to our families. He was on time, upbeat, super kind to all of our bridal party, and gave us advice during the ceremony that our guests still remember and quote to us! Just a lovely experience and would recommend to any couple who wants to entrust their wedding ceremony to a professional.

Professional and personal!

We hired Jon for our wedding this past October and had a great experience! He was always responsive whenever I reached out to him (and if he wasn't, it was cuz my email went to spam accidentally, oops!) and very thorough in giving us all the information we needed. Once we were officially on his books, he sent over a worksheet for us to fill out ahead of our call together to go over ceremony planning. Anything we weren't too sure about, we were able to rely on Jon's expertise to help guide us and give suggestions on what to do for the ceremony to help make it feel more personalized to us as a couple.

On the day of the wedding (no rehearsal prior as there was no wedding party), Jon was a calming and reassuring presence. The ceremony was beautiful, well-spoken and well-paced (we received some compliments from guests afterwards as well). I don't think we could've asked for a better officiant--if it wasn't already apparent, I highly recommend booking Jon to officiate your wedding!

As someone who has not attended many weddings myself, we had no idea where to start or how ceremonies typically go. Since our initial phone call, Jon was always kind, patient, knowledgeable, and approachable throughout the entire process. He is detail-oriented and fast at replying our inquiries and questions. Jon made great efforts to truly understand what we wanted (and didn’t want) and to get to know us as a couple, which helped make our ceremony feel personable and not generic. I honestly was clueless about all things wedding planning, but I knew I wanted to find an AMAZING officiant, even with our budget limitations.

I believe I just found Jon through Yelp. He is listed as the best officiant around. This was important to me because I knew he would make the ceremony special, personalized, and if anything went wrong (which of course it did, because Murphys Law,) he kept everything on the rails with professionalism, kindness, and a smile.

He was there through the entire process with all my anxious questions. He was especially helpful are reassuring about the process of marriage licsense and changing of my name.

They way he asked us questions, created a worksheet and order of service for OUR ceremony. It was very special and personalized.

Jon officiated our small wedding in DTLA and delivered everything we could ask for. He is extremely flexible and will tailor your wedding to whatever your preferences are.

Jon will provide a planning worksheet and conduct meetings with the couple to get a better sense of the goals of the wedding. Then he will craft the messaging to cater to your specific needs (religious, non-religious, formal, informal, etc).

Outstanding officiant - professional, organized, responsive, reliable

Jon officiated our wedding in August 2022. My wife and I planned a very small and simple non-religious ceremony in a beautiful park. After reading all the positive reviews, we reached out to Jon to be our officiant. He responded within hours (a huge plus for me) and we all got on a call to walk through everything. On our call it became immediately clear Jon is a seasoned professional who is reliable, responsible, organized, and one who could be trusted to give a great ceremony. He welcomed our pre-set plans and also offered his own suggestions, some of which we weaved into the ceremony. For any further questions we had, Jon was quick to respond. He's very on top of things.
On the day of, Jon arrived to the park early. He was extremely personable and upbeat. The ceremony went perfectly. Even though we kept the ceremony brief to around 15 minutes (by our own design), it still felt very special and is exactly what we wanted. Jon made everything happen exactly as we had hoped. After the ceremony, he explained the next steps and also offered to mail in our marriage license.
I highly recommend Jon as an officiant! Our wedding guests also commented how great of an officiant he was.

Personable, Professional, and we Received Compliments on his Service!

We were married in July 2022 and John was so amazing and personable. We had so many remarks about how wonderful his sermon was and how personable he was to us as a couple. We chatted with him a few times over the phone before we got married and he did amazing delivering on the non-denominational service that was respective of my religious beliefs and also respective of my husband's beliefs (they are different). The best wedding officiant we could have asked for!

Jon was the absolute best officiant we could have ever asked for our wedding this past June! He was able to incorporate the traditional wedding ceremony with our Filipino traditions as well. Jon was very accommodating with any request we had for the ceremony. He made sure to check in with us in the coming days before the wedding and at the wedding itself. Exceptional Officiant

Jon officiated our Terranea wedding this June. We originally hired him back in 2019 for our 2020 wedding. Despite constant postponements due to COVID, Jon was very understanding and flexible.

I love how he provided a planning worksheet for us so we can pick what is important to have in our ceremony. This also helped him get to know us more and ensure our ceremony was personalized. He was very organized and went over all the details with us without being overwhelming.

Jon works with you to ensure the ceremony is exactly how you want it. We wanted our ceremony to be able 20 minutes long and he was able to do so while maintain everyone’s attention which is quite impressive!

He has such a kind tone to him, I felt like a friend was officiating us. We received so many compliments on how engaging the ceremony was. One guest said, “it was so touching and not boring. I normally fall asleep at ceremonies but this one kept me interested.”

Best Wedding Officiant in SoCal!

Jon is an exceptional officiant. I had my wedding in DTLA in May and prior to we had exchanged emails and phone calls to go over all the details, and I mean every single detail. Jon was very thorough and walks you through each step of the ceremony, to the point that you can picture it in your mind as you go. It was so much fun getting to choose what kind of ceremony you want it to be and one that reflects your values. Jon makes sure that's what you get. I also appreciated the documents he emailed me throughout detailing all the logistics as well as all of the ceremony details, questionnaires, and explanations. It answered every question I ever had about wedding ceremonies. Our ceremony was running late due to the makeup artist being late, but Jon graciously stayed past time to finish the ceremony. I also was already married legally to my husband on paper but never told my parents since they're very religious. Jon didn't mind that and that was very appreciated. Great officiant!

Jon officiated our LA wedding this June. The process of working together was very smooth. Jon is approachable, professional, and a good listener. His system for organizing the ceremony is easy to navigate and insures that everyone is on the same page! This was a great comfort as we were pretty specific about what we did and did not want and it was a little intimidating to bring a stranger into this very intimate process. From our first meeting with Jon, he put us very much at ease.

We are non-religious and wanted our ceremony to reflect our own values and that we show up to our relationship as equal partners - Many marriage ceremonies don't do this very effectively or if they do, it feels didactic and stiff. Jon's ceremony was humorous and sweet, hitting all the points with grace and a smile. Jon also helped us pick a small ritual - a unity candle ceremony - that added a quiet symbolic moment to our ceremony that felt very special.

Most importantly, Jon sticks to the point - He made a humorous and touching statement about marriage and showing up for each other without going on and on - Our ceremony including 2 readings by family members, our vows, unity candle, and Jon's service was about 20 minutes top to bottom! We would recommend Jon as an officiant in the LA area.

I would recommend paying extra to have a rehearsal with Jon present - We didn't do this and despite his amazing order of service, I think we would have hit our own marks a little better if we had practiced with him, not just our coordinator and wedding party.

WOW, what can I say. Jon is not only an amazing person, though he is truly an artist in his craft. Not only does he really guide you throughout I would say thee most important and stressful part of the wedding being the ceremony, though he works his magic to ensure it is exactly what you have dreamed it to be... and more!

Great Officiant!

We were having a casual, cocktail party wedding – so no wedding planner help! We did not have a personal recommendation from anyone regarding an officiant and this was the last part of the event I wanted to manage or give the responsibility to anyone in attendance.

So I went to the internet….and found Jon. Of course, you are hesitant about only yelp reviews, etc, but with Jon they are all real. Highly Recommend!

My partner and I were looking for an officiant on short notice in the West Los Angeles area for a very simple "just I Do" style ceremony this October. Jon ended up being the perfect choice! I contacted him through his website to inquire about availability and price and he responded promptly with a very competitive rate and plenty of flexibility.

Because of our preferred type of ceremony, we had the option of meeting him at his home or having him meet us elsewhere for a slightly higher cost. We opted for the former, but both were very reasonable. My now-husband and I met Jon for the very first time right as he was about to marry us and he was a lovely and personable man who gave us the unfussy and intimate experience we were after.

The most stress I felt that day was whether some traffic was going to make us late for our agreed-upon appointment time (it didn't) and I'm immeasurably grateful to Jon for his part in that. It was exactly what I wanted out of my wedding day.

Incredible Officiant!

Hiring Jon to officiate our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! His preparation, attention to detail, and ultimate execution were flawless! We didn't have a go-to family member or friend to officiate, so we were a little wary of hiring an outside person to conduct the ceremony. We were worried that this person didn't really 'know' us. However after going through Jon's process, he took the time to really get to know us, and he felt as if he was part of our inner circle. Wonderful!

Jon Olson was a wonderful officiant, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is getting married. Because of our busy schedules, we were only able to meet with him once before the wedding. My husband also lives on the East Coast and flew into LA the day before the wedding, so we were unable to have a rehearsal beforehand. Nevertheless, the wedding ceremony went very smoothly. He is a very experienced wedding officiant, and it definitely shows. Although he charges slightly more than other officiants, it is definitely worth the extra money!

Would Highly Recommend

After being postponed for over a year due to the pandemic, our beach ceremony wedding finally took place on July 24, 2021, and we couldn’t have more good things to say about our officiant, Jon.

Professional and perfect

Jon is an incredible officiant and we were so lucky that he was able to officiate our wedding. We had a small, intimate wedding due to covid, and it was so special and perfect. Jon was very professional and played a huge part in our ceremony. He put a lot of work into our wedding day, and we talked at length and worked together several times prior to our wedding. We are so grateful that Jon was our officiant. We wouldn't have changed a thing!

Very Thorough!

We found Jon through wedding wire! He was incredibly responsive and thorough. We had a unique situation in that we were interfaith and trying to do something that will appease both sides. After deciding to go for a secular ceremony, Jon was the right way to go.

Throughout the planning process during COVID times, Jon stayed in touch, took the time to get to know my husband and I as a couple, and sent us a prep worksheet to go over all the details.

He was very helpful in our handfasting ceremony intertwined with the secular ceremony and come up with some wonderful vows. We were very happy with his service!

When wedding day rolled around, he was there on time and ready to go. Despite our tardiness, he took the time to speak to my father and us to give us last-minute guidance on where to stand and when. (We didn't do a rehearsal dinner despite that it was an option). He had some lovely pointers to maximize photography during the event as well. He kept it short and sweet, exactly as we asked, and very engaging and fun to boot. He had everyone in tears from the cuteness of it all and laughing from the lovely speech he made. It was a lovely wedding ceremony.

Jon was also very timely with the wedding certificate and had it mailed right away. We were able to order the official copy as soon as we were back from the honeymoon! I highly recommend Jon for any type of service you like! He does it all!

Jon is fantastic!

My husband and I could not have asked for a better officiant than Rev. Jon! We were on a very tight schedule, and Jon was our partner at each step of the process in helping us select our vows, choosing the right prayers, and making us feel comfortable with the decisions we were making on our big day.
On the day of the ceremony, Jon made our families feel welcome, and included everything we asked for down to the letter. He’s continued to be a trusted advisor, making sure our wedding license was filed with the state. We can’t recommend Rev. Jon strongly enough!

jon is the best! period!

covid weddings are weird and hard and emotional and finding jon was such a blessing for us. he was professional, timely, and truly made our day feel special. i felt like he had known us our whole lives. he made great suggestions for us--as we had no idea what went into the officiant talk--and helped us craft a message that felt completely unique to our relationship. i'm telling you, the man knows what he's doing!

Phenomenal Officiant

Jon is phenomenal! He has a natural warmth and caring that will make you feel at ease on your special day! In the middle of a pandemic when our plans had changed not once, not twice, but three times; Jon was steadfast and compassionate!

I am what some would call “particular”, this did not phase Jon one bit, we organized the ceremony to our individual preferences. As we stood for our ceremony at the Ritz Carlton – Laguna Niguel with a small group of our family gathered, Jon conducted a ceremony that was spiritual, with a bit of humor, and authentic to us as a couple, just what we wanted!

In the days after, Jon continued to show his professionalism by completing our marriage license and sending it into the county. He shared all the information via email, so we were in the loop!

Jon made our intimate wedding very special. I highly recommend him as an officiant!

Hire jon now!

Jon officiated our wedding on October 9, 2020 at the Huntington Bay Club. We had around 100 guests and a toes in the sand ceremony.

When we were first searching for an officiant, we had no idea what we were looking for and we didn’t know what questions to ask. However, we did know that we wanted a true wedding professional! I feared that from my previous event history, we would have a family friend selected that would forget something or worse, not show.

I’m SOO SOO thankful we went with our gut and hired a professional. It was scary! We had no idea who Jon was, he didn’t know our relationship, and we were just going based off online reviews.

However, from our first initial telephone call with Jon, we were put at ease. He was warm + kind and truly, dedicated to his craft. Jon walked us through the entire ceremony via telephone, and consistently asked questions about what WE wanted as a couple. He asked us about how we met, what our hobbies were and about the things that were special to us. After our call, we felt 100% comfortable knowing Jon was going to officiate our wedding.

We could not envision someone else marrying us. Our ceremony was beautiful and guests are still raving about the spoken words.

Wedding Officiant Jon = EXCEPTIONAL

We were referred by Pam (from Love Anne Joy) and Jon Olson made this wedding journey a smooth ride! Who would have thought getting married in the midst of a pandemic? Well, we are so humbled and blessed to have Jon as our officiant and be a part of our special day on October 10, 2020 at Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach. It was “PERFECT”.

Jon – Since Day 1, you have been so wonderful and amazing to work with via emails and super proactive and quick turnaround emails. Thank you. He had a very thorough questionnaire that guided us through the ceremony structure and if we had any questions or concerns, he was able to talk more into detail, with suggestions and BEST advice. He is EXCELLENT and understanding.

A couple months before the ceremony, he went through the whole timeline and was very thorough. That’s what makes a great officiant!

Day of Ceremony – It was a pleasure meeting him for the first time! Pandemic got in the way to meet in person beforehand, but it was such a delight, and the ceremony was a DREAM. Everything went smoothly and his readings and sayings was just pure bliss. We had so many of our family and friends had POSITIVE (no pun-intended) comments about Jon!

Perfect elopement!

Jon officiated our license a few weeks ago and it was just the two of us, our dog, and Jon on our patio, but he still put tremendous effort into communicating with us beforehand and ensuring everything was exactly as we wanted. His reading before the vows was really genuine and thoughtful. Also, we filmed it for our parents and he did such a good job addressing them in the video -- they LOVED it! We couldn't have been happier overall, definitely recommend if you want someone organized, personable, and easy-going. Thanks so much Jon!

Amazing Officiant!

No matter what kind of wedding you’re planning to have, picking Jon as your officiant is the best decision you can possibly make. Jon is experienced, professional, thoughtful, personable, patient, and extremely responsive to calls and emails.

My (now) husband and I began planning our wedding in 2019, and selected Jon as our officiant after speaking to him on the phone. Jon immediately started helping us plan the ceremony by providing us a detailed planning questionnaire as well as sample vows and readings. After a Skype planning session, Jon sent us a ceremony timeline, which was extremely useful in planning the rest of the wedding.

A month prior to our wedding, COVID-19 stay-at-home orders forced us to change our plans. We delayed our wedding date and downsized our guest list. Through it all, Jon was extremely understanding and helped us find an alternate wedding date. Unfortunately, COVID-19 continued to put us through the wringer. Our original wedding venue cancelled on us ten days before the wedding (due to county regulations related to COVID-19). We immediately called Jon, and he provided us a list of nearly 20 alternate wedding venues. Thanks to Jon, we were able to find a new wedding venue that was even lovelier than our original one!

Despite prior challenges, our wedding ceremony was absolutely perfect. Jon is an amazing officiant, and our ceremony was intimate and meaningful. Whether you’re having your wedding during these crazy COVID times or when life finally returns to normal, don’t hesitate to select Jon as your wedding officiant!

The Best Wedding Officiant!!

Jon was so amazing to work with from start to finish. My husband and I felt so overwhelmed and lost when it came to figuring out our ceremony, but after our first conversation with Jon we knew we were in great hands. He really took the time to answer all our questions, address our concerns, and he also took the time to get to know us as a couple. Jon‘s worksheet that he sends a couple to fill out prior to the ceremony is a great guide and outline of what to expect with the ceremony. Professional, organized and a helpful guide!

Jon officiated our elopement amidst all of the challenges that the COVID presented us. When we made the decision to elope, it was a difficult one, as we had dreamed of a wedding that included all of our family and friends. We wanted to find an officiant that would help us feel comfortable in answering lots of questions and help to navigate the challenges of this crazy time.
From the start, Jon was very accommodating with helping us choose a date, helping us navigate the marriage license process (which was not easy during the pandemic) and guiding our ceremony structure while leaving us with the perfect amount of autonomy. He is organized and experienced and his calm demeanor takes away any anxiety and stress that might come with wedding planning.
On the day of our ceremony, Jon was prompt and prepared to guide us through the best day of our lives! He added special touches to the ceremony that made it even more meaningful to us and you could tell that he really took the time to (virtually) get to know us.
After the wedding, he took care of sending in our marriage license and made sure to communicate a copy and next steps with us.
We are truly grateful that we had a professional like Jon to guide us through a process that neither of us knew anything about. We cannot recommend him enough!

Professional, organized -- the best!

We were married in February 2020, right before the COVID craziness, and Jon was our officiant.

From the first few minutes after we initially hopped on the phone with Jon, we were at ease with the process and knew that he was the one!

He was extremely reassuring throughout the entire process, very professional, and produced a detailed doc walking through the ceremony (event by event, segment by segment!) within a couple days of us having our call.

He also handled the ceremony itself wonderfully, couldn't have asked for more!

Officiant Jon Saves the Day!

Officiant Jon was an excellent choice for us. He was very responsive every time we reached out w/questions. We discussed the details for the ceremony over the phone and we didn't actually meet until the day of the wedding but he provided guidance leading up to the day of so I felt very comfortable.
Even better, he proved to us that he's an absolute pro! We got married in the heart of Hollywood and there were some issues next door to our venue. Before we knew it, there was a hovering helicopter, a handful of cop cars and sirens blasting but Jon cracked a joke about it, made sure all our guests were focused and moved on w/the ceremony without missing a beat.
Overall, a great experience!

Wow. I am not even sure where to start.

Jon Olson was absolutely amazing from the very beginning and we are extremely glad to have had the opportunity in having him officiate our wedding. I emailed Jon only a few months before our wedding, thinking he would already be booked, or our venue might have been a little too far. Thankfully, he wasn't booked, and he drove quite far to accommodate our special day.

During our Skype call, he made sure to ask everything that he needed to know, and answer everything we asked which gave us peace of mind. He also invited us to reach out to him at any time if we were worried about anything, which we did, and he would always answer quickly.

The day of the wedding, Jon showed up exactly when he said he would. He spent some time talking to my wife and I, getting to know us more on a personal level, as well as some of the wedding party and parents. Jon also kept letting us know that everything was going perfectly, which calmed our nerves down more than you would ever think.

As the ceremony began, it seemed to be straight to the point, which was ABSOLUTELY fantastic. Everyone that attended the wedding thought the order that he placed the 'I do's', vows, prayers, and so on could not have been better. The ceremony seemed to be the perfect length. Jon ended up staying for a little after the ceremony to thank us for everything, where we made sure to get a picture with him. (Which we'll upload as soon as we get our wedding photos back!)

I would NOT recommend ANYONE ELSE.

By far one of the best decisions my now husband and I made in choosing Job to officiate our wedding day.
Jon was so easy to work with. He is really worth hiring on a really special day. Jon was really professional and outgoing from the very beginning. As it is my fiancé and I first and hopefully only wedding in our life time Jon made sure we knew what to do on this special day. He was on time and even provided us a list of ideas for the ceremony to make our picture look slightly different so poses won't look the same. As we looked into our wedding video we even saw him help fix the tail of my dress so I can walk down the aisle, and moved so quickly so he wouldn't photo bomb our picture of the first kiss. He's the best!

Jon is a legend. We were nervous to find a great wedding officiant but somehow got lucky enough to choose the best in the business. (Even our DJ recognized him and said we made the *best* choice.) Everything about the experience with Jon was seamless and enjoyable. We gave him the very difficult task of having a nondenominational ceremony with a religious flare, and he knew exactly what to do. We talked with him over the phone and also met at his house to put the ceremony together. He gave us great materials to work with and it was clear that he has honed his skills and services over years of experience. His communication was also fantastic. On top of being a great celebrant, he is simply a very lovely, very kind person, and he made it really easy to work with him. Highly, highly recommend.

Amazing officiant!

From the first time we spoke with Jon over the phone, he was very personable trying to get to know us.
We were in contact via email and had a few phone appointments to go over the detailed breakdown of the ceremony. Jon made the entire process smooth from start to finish. The ceremony was perfect. Lucky n Alexis Wedding

Choosing Officiant Jon was a great choice that Alexis and I made. We knew that we wanted a non religious ceremony but we needed a lot of help on the entire process. Officiant Jon made it super easy for us. We had a couple of conference calls with him and he emailed us many options that "we loved", to choose from. The ceremony went by so fast and so smooth all thanks to Officiant Jon's professionalism and experience. Thanks so much Jon!!
P.s if I ever get married again I will absolutely use you again!! LOL just kidding. One time is more than enough

The best there is!!

One of the best decisions we made during the wedding process was booking Jon as our officiant! He made the seemingly daunting ceremony planning process very easy! My now husband does not have a religious affiliation and I am Catholic and we decided not to get married in a church which was not a favorable decision amongst my family. However, Jon was able to incorporate religious aspects in our ceremony perfectly. Everyone loved how personalized the ceremony was and my family could not stop praising how great of an officiant he is.
Jon truly is incredible. If you are looking for a professional, kind and easy to work with officiant, call Jon!

Best Wedding Officiant!

After being engaged for 14 months and receiving crazy quotes for wedding venues, we decided to elope locally with our witnesses, a photographer, and an officiant. We made the decision and planned our private beach ceremony in a three week time period and the first person we confirmed was Jon, who happened to be the officiant my sister used three years earlier for her wedding. Considering the timeline, we were nervous about all of the pieces falling together, but luckily Jon was available and willing. Jon was SO easy to work with. He had worksheets to follow, sample vows, religious and non-religious wording, and made the process so easy. We communicated by email which was convenient for me while working and Jon was so easy going. For only communicating a couple of weeks, Jon was able to personalize our ceremony and it felt like we had known him our whole relationship. The ceremony was short like we requested, but meaningful. I was so impressed with Jon's professionalism and ability to make every moment feel perfect. He also took care of filing the marriage license which is so helpful and one less thing a new couple has to worry about. I would recommended Jon over and over!
