Stephanie is a very professional and kind person. She made my experience very pleasant and relaxed. I really appreciate that she knows what she is doing (without scratching head or pulling many hairs out). LOVED her for my wedding
I had Stephanie for my wedding in November. She was 100% the right choice. She and her team were so professional, talented, timely and kind. I would book her over and over again for her services. I had my whole bridal party + my mother and MIL get their hair and makeup done. We had an outdoor wedding and everyone's hair makeup looked picture perfect all day long.
I had a trial a few months prior and it was near perfect. We discussed a few adjustments for the final day and I couldn't say enough positive things about it. I felt so beautiful, while still feeling like myself and that was very important for me. We were also sent with touch up kits for the day in case they were needed (they weren't).
Her services are such a value - I'd recommend her over and over and over again.

Stephanie made my getting ready experience relaxed and happy even through the stress of the wedding day. The make-up and hair were absolutely gorgeous and spot on with what I had asked for-- full glam and wavy hair. I have thick wavy Asian hair that did not scare her at all. She came prepared with a timeline and used wonderful high-quality products that lasted me my entire wedding day. Loved the bridal kit she provides. Stephanie is so incredibly talented and created and very passionate in what she does. She is extremely experienced and communicates very well before the wedding. I recommend doing a trial with her before the wedding, just so you are able to get a glimpse of what you would like for your wedding. Stephanie and her team made the morning of my wedding very smooth and stress free. They were all punctual, professional and so easy going. My bridesmaids, mom and mother in law had so much fun getting ready and they made us all look and feel so beautiful. The whole team was able to cater to our individual wants for our HMUA. BEST Experience Ever!
Stephanie is super down-to-earth and works with your makeup comfort level. She is very organized, punctual, professional and personable! Including myself, I had seven bridesmaids and a young flower girl. Stephanie created a timeline for all of us to complete our hair/makeup in a timely manner and everything went smoothly on the day of the wedding! With the help of Dhayna and Amber to assist her, they all took very good care of us and their work was flawless. If your budget and time allows, I would also definitely recommend doing a hair/makeup trial with her before the wedding date. Stephanie helped make me look like and FEEL like a queen on my wedding day! Love her work and will most likely go to her for any future special occasions. Thank YOU, Stephanie! :)

Oahu Wedding
I absolutely loved my hair and makeup. It held up nicely for our beach wedding and Stephanie was very professional and nice throughout the process even before getting to Hawaii. She was on top of making sure I had the hair and make up I wanted and the haku was my favorite piece. She even gave me a touch up kit which helped since our wedding day was humid. She made me feel beautiful and her prices were very reasonable! I definitely would recommend her for others going to Oahu to get married!

Gorgeous, comfortable & lasts all day!
Stephanie Hayasaka was amazing. I did a trial run a few weeks before my wedding and while I loved it I had a few notes. She listened to those notes and applied every single one so that my wedding day makeup and hair was perfect!! She also did 3 of my Attendant makeup and 2 of their hair. She came in early had her timing down to perfection. We weren't ready too early & waiting or too late & rushed. She also was able to adjust so that we could take getting ready pictures in between people getting ready. Us 4 girls were also VERY different skin tones and she was able to match us all. Also both the makeup and hair lasted all day & night even through sweating, crying, hugging, kisses, eating, dancing, and more but it was also super comfortable. We all got so many compliments all night. It was a wonderful experience working with Stephanie and I recommend her to everyone!

Stephanie Hayasaka is a hair and makeup genius and a true picture of professionalism. I stand by her 10000% and hiring her for my wedding day is one of the best decisions I've ever made! She was on time, met me at my hotel, stayed on schedule, and made everyone look amazing and picture-perfect. My makeup stayed put all day long. Wedding prep was so hectic and crazy, but Stephanie was the only person I could count on knowing I didn't have to worry about HMU needs!

Stephanie is so amazing at her job! She's professional, flexible, fun, responds quickly and makes you feel so gorgeous and excited! She did my wedding hair + makeup along with my bridesmaids. Stephanie is so incredibly talented! I’ve never had my makeup done before and she made me look like a star! We arranged to have Stephanie do the make-up and hair of the bride, both mothers, and the bride's sister. Stephanie is fabulous. Due to Covid restrictions, we had to change our location several times, but nothing seemed to bother Stephanie - and the day of, Stephanie fit right in with our little group, took some wonderful pictures of us, and most importantly, made all of us look fabulous. We were extremely happy to the point of being giddy we looked so good! We recommend Stephanie without any reservations.

Amazing stylist for wedding makeup and hair
I was so happy to have Stephanie do my hair and makeup for my wedding!! She was so kind, friendly, responsive and amazingly talented!! She was very flexible when I needed to include my mom and Matron of Honor which was nice. Stephanie did such a great job and made me feel so comfortable. I received many compliments on my hair and makeup and I loved that Stephanie really made an effort to achieve the look I wanted. I was very blessed and I highly recommend her!!

amazing wedding hair and makeup
I had a destination wedding in Hawaii. I also seriously procrastinated on finding a hair/make up artist. I contacted Stephanie a week before i left for Hawaii. She rearranged her schedule to fit me, my mom, daughter and 2 bridesmaids in at my hotel. She listened to what we wanted and did a great job!!! My hair and make up were perfect thanks to her. She was very professional and easy to chat with. If you are getting married in Hawaii hire her!!!!!!

Book Steph, you won’t regret it! I think Steph was one of the first vendors I booked, over a year before my wedding. She is affordable, flexible, responsive to emails and created the most beautiful hairstyle of my wedding day. The style was so well done, I slept in it over night and it lasted all of the next day. Steph is also super friendly and a calming presence on what can be a stressful day.

Stephanie was AWESOME! I first met her for my engagement photoshoot/Trial hair and make-up and fell in love with her work. I booked Steph to do hair and makeup for my wedding for myself, my 4 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, my mother and mother in law. I provided her with some examples of hairstyles that myself and my bridesmaids would want and she was able to deliver exactly what we were all looking for! I was really worried about my hair not holding it's curl or lasting through the humidity, but she put my worries to rest and my hair held up the entire day/night.
Not only did she do a great job on our hair, but her makeup work was stunning and wasn't too much or too over the top, it was perfect! Her goal really is to make you stand out as the bride and she did just that!
Steph even went a step further and helped make some cute little flower crowns for my flower girls who were so excited to wear them!

I initially found Stephanie through Wedding Wire, & I could not have been more happier with her. I live in GA, so trusting someone all the way in Hawaii was a bit of a challenge since all communication was through email. Right from the beginning of our email interaction she was super informative, very friendly, and very accommodating! I was simply getting my hair done with her, and my maid of honor was doing makeup and hair with Stephanie. Stephanie arrived right on time, she was immediately friendly and welcoming. She also didn't mind that my MOH was running a little late, either way she got right to work. Again she was very welcoming and made the process go very smooth, she was attentive, and gave advice. My MOH also loved having her! We also did ask her about a few spots in Hawaii that we planned to visit, and she gave us details on where to go, where to eat, etc. She is such a doll, and I'm super glad I booked her! My bridesmaids' hair were all gorgeous and she put in fresh flowers that stayed in well. My hair and flower crown did not move at all during the entire night. Planning our destination wedding in Hawaii while living in Australia meant that we didn't have an opportunity to meet with our vendors prior to our big day. Stephanie was prompt and helpful in our email correspondence, but without a trial, I had to trust she would deliver as promised on the day. It turned out that trust was very well placed. We are based in Australia and were organising our wedding via email. I found Stephanie via Yelp when looking for a hairstylist; I decided to go with her because of her great reviews, prompt replies to emails and her competitive price. In total for hair I had myself, 3 bridesmaids and both mothers. I did not have to meet with Stephanie prior to the wedding day unless I wanted to. In the lead up to the day she re-confirmed time and details. Prior to the day I did send some hair styles I liked, so she had an idea before the day. Stephanie was already set up for when we arrived; she completed all 6 of us in approx. 2.5 hours. Stephanie was very accommodating, I let everyone choose which hair style they wanted and Stephanie did them to perfection. I was very nervous about my hair, as I wanted a particular look but was scared my hair was too short, but Stephanie worked her magic and I was able to have the style I wanted, I loved it! I wore a head piece on the day, Stephanie suggested I add some flowers into my hair too, best decision, I couldn’t imagine my hair without the flowers, it added extra glam and a pop of colour to my hair. Overall, I would definitely recommend Stephanie for anyone wanting their hair styled!

I went in for a trial not having a clue of what I would like to do and Steph took it upon herself to do a half up half done with curls going every where. I loved it. The make up she did blended very beautifully. The day of my wedding me being the bride I go last so I'm not sweating. Well about two hours prior I decided to change my whole hair style to an all up. Steph looked at me and said of course I can do that anything for you its your day. Steph made it just like the picture without hesitation but had a beautiful smile the whole time. I love her work I love how she spent the whole day at the hotel with us just doing what she does best but being social with us also. Steph and I went back and forth a few times as people (e.g. the mothers / sisters) kept trying to add and cancel services... She was always extremely helpful and responsive. Her prices are amazing compared to other Hair and MUA, but her work is great! She was extremely flexible with timing and while we did run a little later than expected, everyone was done in time.
I did a trial which was make up only, and rather than having me pay for a full hair trial, instead she did a "rough" trial to show me what sort of thing we would be looking at.
I was worried about the foundation wearing off (I noticed at my friend's wedding, her foundation wore off where her tears were) but the foundation stayed on all night with no need to reapply (I did dab some mineral powder foundation to remove some shine/oil but the coverage was still great). Hair stayed pretty well throughout the night as well.
One comment I had from a guest was "its hard to find someone who can do both hair and make up well, but she did a great job on both".
I unfortunately was unable to say goodbye and thank you to Steph before I had to leave so I texted her thank you and she was so kind and courteous.
I highly recommend her!

I reached out to her several times before my wedding at Kualoa Ranch to discuss logistics, timing, my styling desires, and my bridesmaids' needs. Steph did an amazing job with my hair and makeup! She was able to transform my idea into reality and it was perfect for my wedding day! She was very nice and extremely easy to work with. I highly recommend her!

Steph has done my makeup & hair for proms & banquets for 4+ years. She's the only one I trust to style my hair & dare let touch my makeup.
My hair styles, I'd always be the one who has the last say in what way I'd like it. I would always provide pictures of different styles on how I'd like my hair to look & Steph does 110% to make it look like (even better) then the picture provided.
Makeup, Steph goes above & beyond. Subtle & classy. Doesn't over do it with the colors at all. Makes sure to color coordinate with whatever color I'm wearing. Absolutely the best makeup artist I know.

Stephanie was fantastic. I hired her for hair and makeup for our wedding vow renewal. She was very prompt, understanding and open in her communication. Stephanie did an absolutely amazing job on the hair and makeup of my bridesmaids and myself. She did everything, all I did was tell her the time, location and number of bridesmaids and she had taken care of the rest. Her guidance and professionalism made the day go by so smoothly and being the bride that was more than i could have hoped for. Her demeanor and positive attitude made the start to my wedding day fun, stress free and productive. The pictures had come out absolutely stunning. I was astonished at how much her work had made a difference and had also lasted all day through all of the hustle and bustle. Trust me when I say if you are looking for a beautician to not only make you look UNBELIEVABLY beautiful but make you feel it to, you have found the one! Memories last a lifetime through photos and I am so thankful that i found the perfect person to make the most important memory of my life an absolutely beautiful one. It was very easy to get in touch with Steph when I needed to. She was punctual and listened to what I had envisioned. Her and her team worked quickly but with the highest quality. I had gotten my girls, my mothers and my self done with hair and make up for all. It was stress free and very professional. Stephanie did our hair and make up for our wedding day in Kailua. We found it easy to communicate and organise our wedding day with her over email, as we are from Australia. Stephanie is an easy going and talented professional. She listened to what we wanted and offered good suggestions to make our wedding day a special one. Both hair and make up were a good price and so were the trial runs. We even went back for hair cuts with her. Thanks for your services.

Stephanie wedding hairstyles and makeup was great! Good value for money and was easy to deal with. She came to our hotel and provided her expertise to myself and my sister and we were very happy with the end result. Would highly recommend her for all your hair and makeup needs.

If you're looking for someone who will travel to do your makeup and hair on-site, Stephanie Hayasaka is definitely the best choice! She also does hair and makeup at her salon, but for me, i found it convenient that she could come to me instead of vice versa. She really listens to what you want, and executes everything in such an efficient manner.
My hair and makeup lasted allll through the night without reapplying, which I would say goes towards steph's awesome skills!
Her rates are extremely competitive with other companies, and with the type of service she provides, you definitely will regret it if you don't go with her!! She is personable and very caring towards each and every person she encounters!

Stephanie was great! Very friendly and professional. She did a great job on my makeup. Only thing I would have changed is to do a trial run on hair before the actual day. But that was my fault and decided not to due to our short stay.

Very friendly and calm service. She helped me through some "prewedding spray tan gone wrong" drama and was accommodating for last minute scheduling with my hair trial. My wedding hair unfortunately didn't last long, but thats more to blame on the windy/humid weather than anything else I think. Bridesmaids and my mother, who had full updos, hairdos lasted through the evening beautifully.
