Lori made my wedding dreams come true last month in Maui! My hair and makeup were exceptional and I loved spending time with her while getting ready. She was super accommodating and kind! Huge thank you to LORI DAVIS for doing such an incredible job with my hair and makeup! I live over 4,000 miles away and was extremely nervous to book hair and makeup without meeting up prior to my wedding! Lori answered all of my questions on pricing, timing, styles, etc. prior to me booking her. That took time out of her day to do to make me feel comfortable before I booked her. I had a very early wedding and she came ready to go at 5am we got finished right on time. She created a personal look by asking questions based on my normal makeup wear and creating a vamped up look for my big day! We chatted about how I met my fiancé, things to do on the island, and some well wishes for the future. Lori’s THANK YOU! You are incredible!

She transformed me into a hawaiian princess!
Lori did my wedding hair and makeup when I eloped in Maui in July. Three months later, my hair and makeup still bring me joy every time I see a wedding photo. I felt absolutely GORGEOUS, like a true Hawaiian princess! Lori was prompt, organized, and professional. She also had a very positive energy and was fun to talk to while getting me ready. It was hot day for a beach wedding and I sweat a lot, but my hair and makeup did not budge! I should also mention that I had a horrible BLACK EYE that was darkest on the day of my wedding - but you would never know thanks to Lori's major skills! Thank you Lori for helping me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world!

Lori Davis was such a pleasure to work with and I loved my look! I had never gotten my hair or make up done professionally nor do I regularly do my hair or make up. I didn’t have much of an idea of what I wanted other than I wanted it to look natural. Lori took my wishes and concerns to heart and walked me through every step. Lori and her assistant did my hair and make up as well as my 4 bridesmaids’ hair and make up. On the morning of the wedding, they were great on time and we ended up having plenty of time to get ready and eat before heading to the venue (very important!).

I highly recommend Lori’s hair and makeup services. She did a fantastic job on my wedding day. She was professional and punctual, given I had a 5am start! I have dark skin and hyperpigmentation but she did a fabulous job with my skin tone and curled my hair so beautifully. Lori was friendly, kind and helpful with makeup and hair ideas. She listened to my vision and worked so well with it. I had a destination wedding, but it was so easy working with Lori and liaising with her throughout the process, she was always responsive. She is very talented and works great with all skin tones and facial features and hair types. She also uses high quality makeup brands and tools. Lori is a very lovely person and will make you feel very relaxed and beautiful.

When planning our destination wedding, we were very nervous about finding vendors on Maui. Not only was Lori very responsive, but she was extremely flexible with everything. She did hair & makeup for myself, my mother, and sister and we got so many compliments on it. She was even willing to start our hair & makeup at 2 in the morning because we were doing a sunrise ceremony! I would absolutely recommend Lori's services for any special event!

I tried to find the best hair stylist for the price (anything with bridal in it has to be at least 50% more expensive than regular service), and since I was planning from a distance, I could not make up my mind till the end. I saw Lori's site and some reviews, but I eventually called her since she was recommended by my planner (the other stylist did not sound so nice over the phone). I called her on a short notice, but she didn't mind and was in fact very nice and calm, very flexible. Gave me all the info on the phone while not trying to sell herself before me even knowing if I want her. I checked a lot of sites during my search, and called a few right before my wedding. Since it was a day before my elopement, not all were very responsive or wanted to cite their price. Lori brought fresh orchids included in the service, and understood my vague vision. We went for a half-up do with curls, and I loved it! What was also very important for me was her relaxed mood and cheerful attitude (some vendors tend to stress you out if you are on a short notice). I had fun, great experience, good price ($100 - I saw all kinds of prices!). I love beauty and since this was my elopement, not reception, thought I might do it myself. In the end, I was well worth hiring her. I did my own make-up though, and was very satisfied with the whole look.

Lori Davis was my hair stylist for my wedding on Maui, Hawaii. She was able to come to my condo and do my hair, my daughter's hair, and my mother's hair. Lori brought fresh flowers too and put them in all our hair. She is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable when doing your hair. Lori is open to suggestions and makes sure your hair is the way you want and like it. Lori did an awesome job on my hair and it lasted the whole evening.
