Gorgeous Wedding Hair!!

My hair was so beautiful in my wedding day, everything turned out so lovely!! I kept going back and forth on what I wanted, but ultimately left it up to Liz to give me a nice updo. I was u sure because I don’t typically where my hair up, but she made me look so beautiful and I am so grateful!!

Amazing!

Liz was beyond wonderful!! Not only was my hair perfect and stayed all night (and I partied hard) she was one of my favorite vendors. She was such a a joy to have around on my big day and the trial was a great decision! She was a little pricer than other hairdressers I looked at but I can tell you there is a reason- she is worth ten billion dollars. Absolutely go with her!!!!

Great service!

I worked with Liz in November and she did a fantastic job with the ladies hair! They all looked beautiful and their hairstyles held throughout the wedding day. Coming from a planner aspect, Liz kept to the wedding day schedule that I had put in place so we were never behind on timing, and she was so easy to work with! I would work with her again and recommend her to couples!

Extremely professional service and beautiful hair styling

Liz did an incredible job styling my hair for my wedding! She was extremely responsive and communicative and is a true professional. During our trial, she took the time to get to know me and my preferences and worked hard to get the details exactly right to ensure that I was happy with the hair style. On the morning of my wedding, Liz was prompt, warm, and efficient. She is very friendly and outgoing and chatted with me, my family, and wedding party as she worked, which put me at ease and helped relax some of my pre-wedding nerves. The hair style she created was exactly what I envisioned! I have very thin hair and she was able to make it look thick, full, and voluminous and the flower crown hair style she created was beautiful and one of my favorite parts of my wedding look. I was very happy with my experience with Wedding Hair by Liz and would recommend her highly!

Couldn't Recommend Liz More!

I absolutely loved working with Liz!! I have VERY curly hair, which I was definitely nervous about, but she has years and years of experience working with curly hair and exceeded my expectations for what was possible! My hair didn't get frizzy at all and lasted through a rain drizzle during pictures and high humidity. She was such a pleasure to work with and you can tell she truly loves what she does and the clients she works with. I found Liz via a recommendation from a friend and I'll definitely do the same going forward for anyone looking for professional hair needs!

Great wedding hair experience

Liz was my wedding hairstylist and I could not have asked for a better day or for a better wedding hairstyle! Liz did my hair and my bridesmaids hair, and everything turned out fabulous. Liz was so easy to work with and truly made me feel comfortable and calm on my wedding day. She was not only an amazing hairstylist, but was so helpful and made so many great recommendations. My hair lasted all day, even in humid 85 degree June temperatures in North Carolina. She worked with my chosen hairpieces and helped me arrive at a style I loved. I would recommend her services to anyone!

Wonderful hairstylist!

I am so happy to have found Wedding Hair by Liz to do my hair for my engagement photos! She is not only an amazing hairstylist but also a beautiful person and that is clear from the first moment you meet her.

Liz’s studio was clean, tidy, and so pretty! She was very knowledgeable about hair and was able to manage and tame my thick, frizzy, naturally curly hair. Liz gave me ideas on what hairstyles would suit me and made me feel so beautiful for my photos.

The day of my pictures it was very hot and humid, then later on it even rained but my hair still looked perfect the entire time. If you’re looking for a hairstylist I highly recommend Liz, you will not regret it.

I looked like a Fairy Princess!

I am so pleased with Liz. My hair looked better than I ever could have imagined. It also held all day and in fact, I had amazing hair for the next few days! She was super polite and easy to talk to, calming some of my pre-wedding nerves. I cannot recommend Liz (and Pam) enough!

Liz is the Best, She Made Our Day Perfect

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Liz. She did a fabulous job with our wedding party and even dealt with a moody, emotional 4-year old flower girl with patience and grace very early in the morning. During my hair trial with her, we had a wonderful time and she gave me several styles to work with and really made sure I loved the final look. I completely trusted her on my wedding day and was excited to see her as my first vendor at 6am! She is hands-down the best hair stylist I have ever had. I absolutely loved my hair and felt beautiful. Run, don’t walk now to go book her.

Awesome Team

Liz was very organized and had a clear timeline which she sent to me and my bridesmaids ahead of time. We each knew exactly when we were due for hair and make up. I can’t believe the luck I had finding Liz and her team. Liz is the most incredible stylist and simply the most incredible person. Liz and her team are amazing at what they do. They are excellent people to work with and it certainly shows in the end product. Liz is very personable and is great with kids. Working with Liz was a real pleasure, she listened to all my requests/concerns and brought in her years of experience to make both my engagement shoot look and my wedding day look be amazing, exactly what I asked for :). She has an amazing team working with her. They know how to work well under pressure and make it seem like it's easy-peasy. I loved their attention to detail and their time management ability, they stuck to their schedule and there were no delays, even when some of the bridesmaids didn't show up on time. Liz is An Amazing Stylist and Person!

Throughout the wedding process I spent some time with Liz because my hair is very fine and doesn't really like to cooperate and hold a curl. Naturally, I wanted my hair half up-half down to really give Liz a challenge (joking, but I really did want half up-half down). Instead of trying to talk me into a style that would be easier, Liz worked her magic and created the perfect style for me that stayed beautiful all night long (even after air guitaring and head banging for Bohemian Rhapsody, so that's quite impressive)! In addition to being an amazing stylist, Liz is an all around great person. I loved spending time with her and her family, and really felt like we were friends, not just vendor and client. I really recommend hiring Liz for all your future hair events!

A fantastic experience for hair and make-up

Liz and her team are truly amazing at what they do. I was a bride without a Pinterest board, who hadn't thought much about what I wanted my hair and make up to look like until Liz asked me to send some inspirational photos. For all of my fellow curly-haired brides - Liz is not afraid of curly hair and has so much experience with it that I had no worries turning the reins over to her! She helped me figure out a similar style to one of the photos I sent that would work best for my hair type and texture and actually enhanced my curls. Make-up wise I wanted to look like the best version of myself - fresh but not overly done up. Even my husband who originally told me I didn't need make-up (lol) thought it looked amazing. Plus both Liz and Mariana were so personable and easy to talk to that it made both the trial and getting ready on the day very relaxing and fun. Hair and make-up even started a little earlier than planned which meant some extra time for pictures and zero stress for me! I would absolutely recommend Liz and her team.

My perfect day

I am the kind of bride who puts a lot of effort into researching each and every vendor till I find a perfect match. I rank all vendors in an excel spreadsheet and Wedding Hair by Liz was my number one choice. Liz was very responsive and my makeup trial was so relaxing and fun. On my wedding day, everyone loved the way they looked and I felt beautiful. My makeup and hair stayed till the end of the night and I can't recommend Liz and her team enough!

Doesn't get better!

It does not get better than Liz and her team!!!!! Hair and makeup is one of the most important parts of your special day. Liz came highly recommended by my planner and the wedding community. Prior to my trial Liz was always there to answer my many questions. On the day of my trial I felt instantly comfortable and welcomed into her beautiful at home salon space. The trial alone exceeded my expectations! The months leading up to the wedding Liz was great at communicating and explained how the day of timeline would work. She also created a schedule that even the venue was blown away by. On the day of the wedding we had about 12 ladies getting ready in a tiny space which could have been very chaotic but it was the complete opposite!!! Liz was very well organized, professional, hilarious, provided all the tools needed for the day from lighting to products for every skin and hair type, personally calmed my nerves and made me feel better, was assertive when needed (trust me you want this on your wedding day), and just went above and beyond in every category! Even my slightly high maintenance Miami girls were blown away by their beautiful hair and makeup! Everyone felt beautiful and my hair and makeup did not budge all night! If I could I would give Liz 10 stars!!!!

Amazing Service and Quality

Liz and her team are amazing! I got both hair and makeup for my wedding, and both were exactly as I had hoped. Liz was amazing to work with throughout the whole process - such a calming presence and kind spirit, but always prepared and detail-oriented. After having a bad hair and makeup trial experience with another stylist, Liz calmed my nerves and assured me that she would get it right for me on my wedding day. And she did exactly that and so much more! My hair looked shiny and healthy, even in a braided and curled updo, and my makeup was flawless. They even used some of the products I brought along for my makeup without any hesitation. I looked like the best version of myself and felt so beautiful that day. She did many half-up/half-down hairstyles for my bridesmaids and mother/mother-in-law, and did them all within a quick timeline. Liz cared so much about making me feel at ease and completely happy on my wedding day, and she was such a blessing to have around! Hire her and I promise you will not be disappointed!

Everyone looks great when her team is done!

Amazing Experience

Liz and her team was amazing! I was extremely picky when picking a stylist for my big day, I am so happy I found Liz. My worries went away the moment I met her! She beyond exceeded my expectations and made me look and feel absolutely stunning. I was so sad to take my hairstyle down at the end of the night!

Great thing about Liz and her team, is that they also offer makeup services so you don’t have to hire another vendor. Which helped greatly, I felt taken care of and stress free. Both artists I used (for my bridal portraits and wedding day) did an amazing job! I have never felt so beautiful!!

Liz did the hair for my daughters wedding. Being from out of town we did a trial with Liz and i felt like she really cared about what we wanted and we felt like we had known her all our lives and that she would help make this a very special day. She was there bright and early and did an amazing job, came back after the ceremony on time and redid a different style for the evening. Her work was spectacular, her personality fun and easy going. Great to work with and of course the results were amazing. Happy to give a reference to Liz anyday.

Wonderful experience from start to finish! You feel like you are gaining a family member working with Liz. She is responsive, fun, talented and she cares about how you want to look. I don’t have a single negative thing even thought about Liz. Her team is amazing and efficient. They blended in and became apart of the wedding day. I asked for pin up 50s style hair and couldn’t have been more happy with the results. My hair looked amazing and the bridesmaids were knockout. She even was able to do my sisters hair which was dreaded. She always was able to accommodate my mother in law who is allergic to scents. As Liz was doing my hair she talked me through my nerves and helped me practice my vows. I can’t put into words how amazing she made me feel through the whole process. Do yourself a favor and hire Liz for your wedding.

Liz and her two girls were amazing for my wedding last October. We made sure to have plenty of space, mirrors and outlets and they were able to get 10 girls hair done in a few hours. They worked in shifts prepping hair and were very responsive if one of the girls didn't like something. All the girls loved their hair and it all stayed very well throughout the day/night. They were awesome. I highly recommend them.

My impression is that Liz is the best you can get in the RDU area. Literally everyone in my bridal party loved their hair, looked amazing and looked like themselves. Liz is extremely accommodating and insists on changing your hair until you are completely satisfied. Easy communication process and enjoyed going to her house for a trial. She brought two assistants and the hair process was very efficient, and all of them were really excellent. Thank you Liz!

We used Liz and her MUA Kim for our wedding this past weekend. They did a fantastic job! I have extremely thin hair, and my bridesmaids all have really thick hair. I was worried about finding someone who could handle both ends of the spectrum. She did FANTASTIC. We looked exactly like the pictures we gave her! We got so many compliments! They finished fairly quickly too. They had us ready with enough time to open a bottle of champagne before our pictures started ;)

My wedding was in Durham in January 2017. Serenity and Liz did hair for me and five bridesmaids, and I could not be more happy with the results. Serenity came to my house for the trial, which was very helpful since it meant I didn't have to travel during the busy pre-wedding weeks, and she was really knowledgeable and helped me take a handful of photos that I liked and turn it into a style that worked for my hair type. The day of the wedding, Serenity and Liz jumped into action and did everyone's hair in record time. Everyone's hair stayed in perfect condition through photos, the wedding, and the reception. They truly know what they are doing! One bridesmaid had a hair crisis and Serenity kindly but firmly talked her through it, resolving the problem and making sure that everyone felt beautiful. And my matron of honor, who wore a tuxedo instead of a dress to the wedding, initially hesitated to have her hair done at all because she is not girly and did not want a girly style, but Liz gently coaxed her into letting her style her hair, and not only did it look great, everyone felt more beautiful and ready to walk down the aisle. You spend a lot of time with your stylist on your wedding day -- more than with your blood relatives, most likely -- and I'm so grateful I chose Liz and Serenity!

I would give Liz 10 stars for flexibility if I could! I chose an unusual and fairly complicated hairstyle that took real talent and creativity to pull off. Liz, without having done a trial on me because I live out of state, practiced and sent me pictures to make sure it was perfect. The day of the wedding - everything came out just right for me, and the maid of honor and the flower girl! She and her team were fantastic!

Really amazing service. I had to change the time for my hair trial last minute and Liz rolled with it. She was such a pleasure and did an amazing job. I love that my hair didn't look crunchy but stayed put throughout my whole outdoor wedding. She was so careful with my little nieces, even when the squirmed. And Kim the makeup artist was amazing too. Really made us all look like our best selves with just the right amount of makeup. I later had my hair and makeup done by someone else for my chinese ceremony and missed these ladies and their professionalism so much.

Liz gave me my best look. I'm good at doing my own hair but did not want to do my wedding hair. We met weeks before my wedding day to try different styles. She listened well; she’s creative and current. Liz’s work on my wedding day was a perfect combination of looks-like-myself and much better. She understands how to make a style holdup during a wonderfully busy day in heat or cold, and mine looked natural and soft. She stayed within my preferences on artistic freedom. Liz was phenomenal. During my trial run she really took the time to listen to the exact look I was going for. Most of the time when you show someone a picture of what you want your hair to look like, it doesn't always turn out exact. Well Liz works her magic and I am telling you, it turned out to be exactly what I wanted and more! She is very organized and prompt with her communication. She sets a timeline for how many girls and exactly how much time is needed to get everything done. Every one of my bridesmaids hair looked absolutely stunning and was done in such a timely manor so that we could have plenty of time for pictures. Liz was wonderful to work with! She is so easy to get along with and extremely accommodating! Four or five of my bridesmaids decided last minute to get their hair done, after seeing how good the other girls looked-- (previously they told me they would do their own hair). She was able to fit them in and get them looking flawless in time for the wedding! I really appreciated how she was willing to work extra fast and efficiently, when she didn't have to. She is so detailed and you can really tell that she takes pride in her work and wants you to have the perfect hair for your wedding. I really enjoyed working with her and would definitely recommend her to other brides!

Liz is a consummate professional and an absolutely hilarious, wonderful person to be around. The first time we met, we sat and chatted for over an hour, I told her about myself and vice versa. She is genuinely interested in getting to know everyone she meets, which is such a nice treat and so uncommon in this day and age. I really enjoyed using Wedding Hair by Liz as my hair vendor for my wedding. At first I had no idea what I wanted to do with my hair...Liz set up a pinterest board for myself, bridesmaids and mothers to add our hair ideas. She even sent each of us a survey to complete to help gauge how our hair usually works. When I had a few choices narrowed down, Liz mentioned that I would probably need hair extensions (which I had never used before) and even gave great suggestions on where to go as well as which kind to look for. She was super helpful! Even though Liz wasn't able to attend my wedding, she helped Amy during my trial to achieve exactly what I was looking for. On the wedding day, Amy & Naomi did an awesome job on my hair as well as my bridesmaids and mothers. I was blown away at how beautiful everyone looked!

Liz and I hit it off like old friends from the moment we met. We sat in Starbucks for 3 hours talking a little bit about hair and a lot about everything else! ;-) She has a very happy go lucky personality which is very contagious. I really had no idea what I wanted to do with my hair for my wedding because I'm not used to wearing my hair up. However, I knew that I couldn't wear it down since my hair frizzes in humidity and I was getting married in July. Liz had me fill out a very detailed questionnaire about my style and hair texture, then created a Pinterest board for me to pin pics of hairstyles that I liked. It was all somewhat overwhelming for me but she made it so much easier. We played around with a couple of styles at my trial and settled on one, but then after giving it some thought, she changed things up a bit on the wedding day and I loved it even more!!! She is so good at what she does that my hair looked great the entire day. Our ceremony was outdoors in the intense heat and humidity and we took lots of pictures outside before heading inside for the reception. I had sweat dripping from everywhere, but my hair always looked great lol!!! I didn’t have a bridal party, just a matron of honor. But I had my best girl friends, who traveled from far away, come hang out with me in my bridal suite while I was getting ready. Liz kept us all laughing the entire time and even though I hadn’t planned on her doing anyone’s hair but mine and my MOH, she ended up helping all of my friends style their hair. They were all amazed by her as well! I am so grateful to Liz for making me feel like a princess on the most important day of my life and for her genuine friendship. She’s one of a kind!

Wedding Hair by Liz was amazing! I loved how organized and accommodating she was during our meetings and phone conversations about the big day! I loved her hair survey for the bridesmaids, it gave them a chance to think about what they liked and it was very helpful to use Pinterest to pin ideas for their hair. I highly recommend doing a hair trial, she worked hard to make sure that I was satisfied with my choice. The day of the wedding she brought a few of her associates to help and they were professional and did a great job! My hair turned out beautiful and stayed perfect during my time inside, outside and dancing! Liz was willing to do whatever it takes to ensure you feel like a beautiful bride and are 100% happy with her service. Liz is very professional and easy to work with from the start. I met with her for coffee to discuss the weekend events and immediately felt at ease. Both Liz and Karissa (the makeup artist) are good at what they do. They completed on time helping me feel very relaxed on my wedding day and for my other wedding weekend events.

Aside from the actual wedding weekend, they did a wonderful job at the trial and for my engagement shoot style.

I have to say not really knowing how to find someone to do my hair for my wedding I feel like I won the lottery finding Liz. From the very beginning of our communication she came across as very knowledgable and experienced. Liz set up a Pintrest page for me and my bridal party making it very easy to pin hair ideas so that she had an idea of what each of us was looking for before I even met with her. At my hair trial she again made me feel very comfortable and made it a collaborative experience. I have thin hair but made my hair look full without any extensions. She took photos of every angle to make sure there would be nothing unexpected on the big day. On the day of my wedding she and her colleague did a fantastic job! They were very professional and personable and even went above and beyond helping calm my 7 yr old niece and making a sign for my reception. After spending months search for a hair stylist and sending loads of links of portfolios to my bridesmaids, we all agreed that Liz was my only choice for my wedding day. Have Liz do your hair! If you want a great up-do, especially if you have "challenging" hair like me (fine), she is the way to go for sure. Liz is very professional, super nice and easy to talk to and she does beautiful work. I got so many compliments on my hair. In addition, Liz is great to work with. When I contacted her originally, I was pretty stressed about finding someone to do my hair because everyone I'd talked to so far at that point wasn't available. She immediately called me and talked through what I needed, putting me at ease.

On the day of our wedding, she did my hair, both of my sisters, my mom's, stepmom's, mother-in-law's and my husband's grandmother. She was very organized, found out what the others wanted ahead of time and her and the woman who assisted her were just the nicest people to work with. My hair held up beautifully throughout a warm day and outdoor ceremony and reception. It looked as good as it did when she finished by the time I took it down that night. Also - she referred me to my makeup artist, who I also loved and they work together frequently which also made the day go very smoothly. I couldn't recommend Liz more!

I just got married at the end of May, and Liz did my hair, along with the hair of my 11 bridesmaids and 3 moms (I know, that's a lot of people)! I cannot say enough great things about this lady! Aware of the large task at hand, she planned ahead and enlisted assistants for the day of and then got communication going with the bridesmaids to make sure she knew what to expect in terms of their hair types/lengths/etc and the styles they were wanting. I can't express enough how great Liz did with managing her time to get all of the girls done in time, and she did so with ease and a positive and encouraging attitude (seriously, she is so fun to talk to, keeping the wedding day nerves at bay)! And she really can produce almost any style, evidenced by the wide range of styles that my bridesmaids and I wanted - braids, volume, curls, up, down, chignon, you name it. And even though she is a planner and is very organized, she also has the ability to "go with the flow": I thought I wanted a french twist, which was what she styled during my hair trial, but afterward, as time went on, I started to second-guess my choice because I thought it didn't feel like "me" (not at all because it wasn't well-executed - it was a perfect french twist). I then emailed her a couple of weeks before the wedding, apologizing profusely and feeling terrible for switching things up so late in the game, to which she replied "Not a problem! :)" And that was that - she did my hair on the fly the day of, and it was beautiful! Liz really is top-notch - grab her ahead of time if you can - you won't be disappointed. Thank you, Liz! :)

I am so glad that I was connected with Liz by a referral from another vendor! My hair was one of the things I was the most worried about on my wedding day. I have very fine, thin hair, and had been told by multiple wedding hair stylists I had visited before Liz that either the look I wanted on my wedding day could not be achieved or that I would have to spend lots of money on extensions that could damage my already thin hair. I was optimistic when I reviewed Liz's website and saw that she enjoyed challenging hair--when I emailed her I let her know she was going to have a challenge in me. From the minute I met Liz, I knew she was going to do an amazing job. She spoke with confidence and I could tell she had a lot of experience dealing with fine hair. She suggested using a donut to give me more volume without having to buy expensive and damaging extensions. She didn't make me feel discouraged, as I had felt after meeting with several other stylists. In fact, she had me very excited about my wedding hair! The trial and day of hair were phenomenal--everyone remarked how full and beautiful my hair looked. I felt like a model! The hair held up all night despite my exuberant dancing.

My family and friends also thought Liz did an amazing job. She had a hair questionnaire that she sent to everyone beforehand and also set up an individualized Pinterest page so that everyone could have in mind the look they would like to achieve ahead of time, instead of trying to figure it out the day of the wedding. Each and every one of them received compliments on their hair the entire night.

Liz really went above and beyond for my wedding and even showed up in between my pictures and me walking down the aisle to make sure that everything was perfect. She was friendly, calming, extremely talented, and a real professional. If you want someone who is experienced, knowledgeable, talented, fun, entertaining and someone who can work miracles on your hair, book Liz!

Liz and her team were absolutely fantastic! They did hair and makeup on-location (in rural Northern NC) for myself, several bridesmaids, and the mothers of the bride and groom. I knew Liz was incredibly accommodating and fun to work with from our trial run several weeks earlier, but she went above and beyond on the wedding day, making sure every girl looked perfect and had exactly the hairstyle she wanted. After seeing that I had gone out in the rain to take "first look" pictures, she even decided to stay much longer than she needed to so that she could re-do my hair to make it look flawless for the ceremony. The makeup, done by Deidre, was similarly spectacular--she did a fantastic job and was incredibly understanding and receptive to requests for particular styles or techniques. I contacted Liz about 4 weeks before my wedding, looking for someone to do my hair and my 4 bridesmaids'. My original hair stylist had to cancel on me due to personal scheduling issues and I was anxious to find someone that was talented to fit me in. I spoke with Liz, and although she was already booked for later that day, she told me she could fit us in for that morning. I am so glad I found Liz! Not only was she extremely professional--sending us emails on what to expect and what she needed from us--she was kind and easy to work with. Liz and her assistant showed up right on time on my wedding day and got right to work. She is so fun and is able to give you the hair style you're looking for that is perfect for you. Even one of my bridesmaids, who is more on the picky side of things, loved how her hair turned out. My maid of honor, who is getting married this May, has now also hired Liz for her wedding!
Another point I like to make is that Liz truly cares about her clients. After her afternoon appointment was over, Liz surprised all of us and showed up at my venue, touching up on everyone's hair. This was perfect, because we had just finished our outdoor ceremony in 90 degree weather and we needed a touch up! She also stayed and helped me with my difficult bustle. I know Liz is a busy woman and she could easily have gone home after a long day, but the fact that she came back to my venue to help me meant so much to me. My mother was so impressed with Liz's service and professionalism, she still talks about it today!
I absolutely recommend Liz to anyone looking for a hair stylist for their event. She is super talented and wonderful to work with. Thank you Liz!!!

Liz did a wonderful job at my daughter's wedding. She was available to style her hair for her portrait, and traveled to Lake Gaston for the wedding, where she styled the bridesmaids and bride. She has an amazing personality, and was so easy and accommodating. The girls all looked wonderful! I highly recommend Liz!

I am a photographer and I had Liz help me out with a styled photo shoot. What a professional! She asked questions and really took the time to understand what I was looking for with the model's hair style. She was friendly and kind and flexible with my schedule. She was also a huge help during the photoshoot, making sure that everything stayed in place and looked great! I would recommend her to any bride, she is just great.

Liz was wonderful to work with at my sister's wedding - she was incredibly flexible when we (the bridesmaids) weren't quite sure what we waned to do for our hair, and she patiently tried and re-tried until we were all happy. I have been a professional photographer for over 30 years and have seen many vendors throughout the industry. Make up and hair is a very important part of setting the stage to a beautiful day. Keeping the flow of the day on task and making it a fun and exciting time for the bridal party is a must. Liz does all this and more. She connects like an old friend and did a wonderful job. I look forward to working with her again. It take a good team to make a perfect day and I am glad to have had her on mind this day.

Every part of my experience with Liz was phenomenal! I hired her to do my hair for my wedding portrait and my wedding day. She was so flexible and accommodated my last minute request after my original vendor fell through. Liz always responded right away and the level of her communication really helped relieve the stress! On the day of the wedding, she came early to ensure that we all had enough time and that no one was rushed. This was greatly appreciated since I'm one of those people that likes a schedule! Everyone, including me, loved our hair for the wedding... and, it lasted all day!!!!! I think we're all still finding bobby pins!!!! If you are looking for someone that is professional, fun and does fabulous work with hair, Liz is your person! Not only did we all have gorgeous hair for the wedding, but we had a blast with Liz as well!

(second half of previous review). I was saying that Liz can chat or listen, and I was able to see this in two dimensions. Liz put us at ease with talking at the hair trial, but let us talk with each other on the wedding day. This was really nice, because it let it be about us. I think it proved that she is sensitive and perceptive.
Okay, so on the wedding day, we arrived late but Liz did not scold. She was productive getting bridesmaids started, and had everything all set up. She treated us with a lot of honor and good humor. The main thing that happened however, was something of a calamity from a hair dresser point of view, and how Liz handled it with intelligence and true grace was really impressive. We lost electricity at the church. Yes, your worst fears that you don't even have the cleverness to think of ahead of time can come true. So, I can tell you that Liz is the picture of grace under pressure, calmly giving orders and reassuring us, and in the end, getting it done. The trick is to recognize what that morning would have looked like with some young unstable person in charge. It's hard to express my gratitude to Liz for rescuing that morning.
I'm afraid I'm going to run out of room again, but I feel like I've said what you need to hear. Liz can be trusted. Also, we did look fabulous!

As the mother of the bride, I would like to endorse Liz as an excellent choice to trust with this moment of your life and this aspect of your relationship with your daughter.
Beginning with the surveys that she did, Liz made sure that she was listening to what everyone involved wanted, which just sucked the fear out of everyone. In a situation, recorded for posterity, where you are so exposed, you just want to be sure that the person with the can of hairspray is really in tune with what you want. I was so happy with the thorough and persistent professionalism that Liz displayed. I'm so glad that I didn't have to track each person down and draw this out of them. Liz took care of it.
I'll never forget the day of the hair trail. It seemed like there were so many emotionally charged vulnerabilities on that day, fears and expectations and opportunities that I didn't want to miss. First, I want to point out how communicative Liz was at scheduling the trial. In a busy season, she made every accommodation to find the perfect time. Who knows the cost of that to her? Maybe it wasn't the perfect time for her; but it was the perfect time for us. Secondly, Liz is extremely well equipped with high quality hair gadgets of every size and high quality hair products. And she is familiar with them, so that when I asked about how something worked, she knew the percentages of water in one spray over another and its impact on curl. Third, Liz has terrific, classic, and elegant style. Fourth, she really listens. She is capable of direction, but when preference is expressed, she is easy to talk to. Fifth, Liz is verbally encouraging. Maybe that's how she made us feel so pretty. No, I think she made us look pretty. Actually, she is the best of both of those worlds. We felt this all the way to the car, where she made us get out for another photo and we couldn't have felt prettier. Liz did my hair when I served as a maid of honor for my friend's wedding last August, and I knew then and there that I wanted her to do my hair for my wedding coming up in May 2015. After signing our contract, Liz has been nothing but professional and ahead of the curve with planning our itinerary and all of the details. I have know Liz for many years and have seen her artistic work as a hair dresser, in the area of Theatrical hair design and later in the wedding arena. Liz went above and beyond for me on my wedding day, and her work was incredible. I have incredibly thin and (I thought) impossible to curl hair, but she not only created a masterpiece on my head that worked perfectly with the rest of my ensemble, but did so expertly and with apparent ease. Her professionalism and wedding wisdom from tons of experience took a huge load off my shoulders on that day, and I was able to relax and be confident that everything was under control. Her friendly and fun personality took the edge off of the nervous atmosphere and she made what would otherwise have been a stressful morning fun and memorable! She made me look beautiful, and my husband cried when he saw me walking down the aisle.

My husband and I met at church when we were eight years old and immediately had childhood crushes on each other. We grew up together as just friends, then good friends, and finally best friends. The Lord worked in our lives over the next decade or so to bring us to Himself and to each other. His faithfulness and goodness to us blows me away, and as I walked down that aisle filled with awe, that was the only thing on my mind. I am very shy and was afraid that I would be self conscious and nervous, but Liz made me confident and beautiful. Because of that, she gave me a special moment of joy and peace as I walked down that aisle, past my family and friends to love of my life, free of fear, insecurity, and stress. I cannot be more grateful to her.

Ladies, listen up! This lady here is an amazing hair stylist! I just did my trial today and I am so blown away by her services. She made it clear the first time that I talked to her that she was there is to serve me and that it was about me! It was a great reminder (and a lot of vendors forget that!) All the communication I had with her was friendly, professional, and organized. She even offered to help with other aspects of the wedding which was SUCH a breath of fresh air!

The planninng process has been stressful and so it was amazing to meet someone who not only allowed me to relax, but gave me EXACTLY what I was looking for.
She is really what I think every woman wants on her wedding day- she feels like part of the family, but gets the job done and done well! It is obvious that she loves her clients and loves what she does- she has had so much experience that I felt like I knew I was in great hands! I would suggest Hair by Liz to anyone!

Now, I can't wait until my wedding! So excited :)

Liz. Is. Amazing. She is an artist. She did my hair for my wedding and five of my bridesmaids by herself. Every girl had a different style that Liz designed based on the girls tastes, but within the theme I wanted for the wedding. I did my own make up and Liz helped me tweak it. But most importantly, I was dealing with family issues the morning of the wedding, and Liz acted like a second mom to me, keeping me relaxed and ultimately being the one to stay with me until I walked downstairs and fixing my train before I walked down the aisle. Liz did a wonderful job on our hair, but she was also my saving grace the day of my wedding. I will always be grateful and would absolutely recommend her.

I have known Liz for years and have worked with her at a number of venues seeing her transform women for weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries etc., including mine and my best friend when we got married. She is very thorough making sure to know your vision in advance of the event and will even test it out on you if it is possible. She is versatile and and is always updated on the latest trends and styles. She is personable, reliable and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair and makeup for an important venue.

Liz is AMAZING! She made me look and feel PERFECT on my wedding day! She's super organized and went way above and beyond on our wedding day, not only making me look good, but she also stepped up and took charge when I needed a wedding & bridal coordinator; she made sure that I had everything I needed, and that my family was happy on our big day. I knew I could relax and just focus on being a bride because she had it all under control!

Because of Liz, we were able to stay on top of our busy schedule, and she kept me calm and happy on my big day. The hair she did for me was beautiful and it was surprisingly comfortable which is never the case for an updo! And it stayed in place through the entire reception, even after dancing! She checked on me all evening to make sure I looked good and had everything I needed so I was actually able to relax and have a great time at my wedding! And because of Liz's skill and attention, we looked stunning all day which helped make our wedding photos and video look even better so we really got the most out of our money.

We can't thank Liz enough for everything she did, and for how fun and easy she made my wedding day! I highly recommend her to any future brides!

It was such a blessing to have Liz as my hair stylist for my wedding on 10/26/13. I'm so thankful to have received a recommendation for her from the lovely owner of Chateau Bellevie, where the wedding took place.

I live about 10 hours away from the wedding location, and unfortunately I could not make a hair consultation work beforehand due to time constraints on my end, even though Liz offered to rearrange her schedule to meet with me. I had a general idea of what I wanted my hair to look like, but really was looking to Liz for guidance.

My first impression of meeting Liz on my wedding day was that she was extremely professional and very confident about her job, which immediately put me at ease. She listened intently to the vision that I was going for and using the ideas that I said, we came up with a plan together before she began working on my hair. She frequently had me look at all angles of my hair as she was working on it, so I could be sure I was 100% satisfied with each step. She truly wanted me to have EXACTLY what I wanted on my wedding day!

The end product was phenomenal. Liz incorporated every aspect of what I wanted into the style and I absolutely loved the end result...everything came together flawlessly!

It was not enough for Liz that my hair looked beautiful...she wanted to make sure everything was perfect for my special day. After finishing my hair, Liz provided her expertise to make sure my dress and all of the accessories that I wore looked perfect...she is an amazing bridal stylist as well!! She also helped the mother of the bride and flower girl with style details at the last minute.

Liz Perniciaro is the one you want for your wedding! It was such a joy getting to know her, she became like a family member! The most important thing to her was making sure I looked and felt amazing on my wedding day, and I am forever grateful to her for making that a reality.
