Best wedding dress experience

I had been to a handful of shops before going to see Vassa and so far had not been excited about any of the dresses I had tried on. When I went to see Vassa, I explained what I was looking for, she pulled out three dresses, I loved the second one and we were done!
I loved working with Vassa so much that I also used her Wedding Day services. I was nervous about walking down the aisle, but Vassa came to the wedding and made the entire day 100% less stressful. She was there to help me get the dress on and off a few times, helped while we were taking pictures to make sure the dress looked perfect in each shot, and made sure I was doing okay -- she got me water (and wine) when I needed it!
I couldn't recommend Vassa enough!

Best dress shopping experience!

Vassa was beyond amazing! During the often overwhelming and stressful time of planning your wedding, she manages to bring you back to reality and remind you how special this time of your life is. I felt comfortable and confident in my dress, and that was in huge part due to Vassa. She has an amazing eye for what will work for your body type and makes sure you account for every detail of the wedding day look. Going to the giant dress factories/stores can be fun, but when it comes down to picking out your wedding dress, Vassa is the place to go.

The Best Day!

Vasa was amazing! After describing my idea for my dream dress she was able to pull dresses that were 100% my style. I also lost over 80lbs before my wedding day and she was able to alter my dress to absolute perfection. I felt like a princess on my wedding day!

Personal, joyful, intimate experience

Vassa knows how important it is to find the perfect dress. She got a sense about me, my style, and flowed with me a as a found the perfect gown. She knew I came from Philadelphia, and had to be flexible with my work schedule and ability to get to Long Island, especially as it got close to my wedding day for final fittings. My dress and my experience with Vassa were perfect.

Amazing experience

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Vassa at Wedding Dresser Couture . I was dreading the process of dress shopping and found out about Vassa from a friend . From the moment I walked in I felt so comfortable and truly enjoyed the experience . I loved how there is only one appointment at a time. I get very overwhelmed by large shops. Vassa was very patient and listened to what I was looking for . She is so knowledgeable and I loved how she does all the alterations so she really knew what the final product would look like and how to it could be changed to fit your style.
I went to several bridal shops but none could compare to wedding dresser couture. I went back and said yes to a dress that was perfect and what I was looking for all along . I couldn’t recommend Wedding Dresser couture enough.

Simply, the best.

Vassa made my experience the best it could be. Wedding dress shopping is fun, but can be stressful if you are not working with professionals who understand what you want and your body type. Working with Vassa is like working with a family member. She was so open, honest, and inviting to all that go into her store. I would buy my dress from her a million times over. Her dress selection is stunning; I found what I wanted by the second dress I tried on. She is the real deal.

My whole experience with Vassa was absolutely amazing. I found the perfect dress and all the alterations went smoothly. Total Bridal Experience

I said YES! to my dress at Wedding Dresser Couture by Vassa. She is absolutely amazing at what she does. I was very anxious at my appointment and she picked up on it immediately. She made sure to make me feel comfortable, listened to everything I asked for, stayed in my budget, and did not pressure me at all. She did all of this while giving me the total ‘Bridal Experience’ (private appointment in salon, wine, family/friends can come with you) and without feeling like you HAVE to go Kleinfeld's. Vassa is extremely talented with a gorgeous selection of dresses. Vassa knew my dress was THE dress before I did… she really knows people and her collection of dresses. She also altered my dress perfectly. If you are looking for your dream dress and your own bridal moment, I highly recommend Vassa. She is a true gem.

A gift from wedding planning heaven!

This was quite honestly the best experience of my life. I went to Vassa very worried about finding a something that I felt confident in. My mom called ahead. It was as if Vassa has ESP. The first dress she put on me was absolutely IT. I have never felt more beautiful and more deserving of everything a bride goes through than when I had that dress on.
From beginning to end, Vassa will be your best friend. She will make you feel like you're the most special bride in the world and that you are family. She does all the work herself, has insane industry knowledge and experience and she genuinely cares about every detail of your big day. We called her our Bridal Angel. My fiancee and I had a saying during wedding planning "If it isn't easy, we don't do it". It was a no-brainer. Extremely easy. Go to Vassa! I hope you feel even half as relieved as I did after seeing her. It was love at first sight!

Best wedding boutique, seamstress, and day of coordinator in the world

Vassa has a gift for finding your dream dress and making you feel beautiful every step of the way. Her attention was 100% on me and I loved that she does only one appointment at a time. She dried my tears when I was stressed, she gave me wine when I said yes, and she has such attention to detail. I appreciate her perfectionism in making sure I look flawless. On my wedding day from the moment she arrived I knew I was in the best of hands. Vassa wasn’t only my seamstress that day but my second mother and good friend. She was by my side the entire time to make sure my dress, hair and makeup looked perfect in every shot. She carried around my stole and perfume and helped me in the bathroom. She froze her butt off outside with me. She was always there and had such a calming effect. She’s also so fun and down to earth and has an amazing sense of humor. I love her from the bottom of my heart and recommend her to anyone who wants the most positive and memorable wedding experience.

Would not have Survived without Vassa!!

Vassa was my dress designer but was certainly more like a personal assistant the day of my wedding. She was with me the entire day of the wedding, literally being my right hand man. She got me everything I needed from a lip gloss touch up to giving me privacy whenever I needed. She is the best of the best and made my day so much more pleasurable and stress free.
She went BEYOND what was expected of her and when I think back to my wedding day, I am so thankful that I had her.

Perfection, intimate, wonderful experience

If you are looking for the ultimate, intimate, wedding dress shopping experience this is your place! Vassa is so sweet, so professional and made me feel so special. This was only the second place I had gone to and within moments of walking in I knew this was the place I’d find my dress. I’m plus size and was nervous a little boutique like this would be a horror to find a dress to make me feel comfortable, but I had the complete opposite experience. Vassa made me feel comfortable and beautiful in everything I tried on, she does everything herself so you know who and what your dealing with in every aspect of your experience, from the first dress you try on to the day you pick up your dress it’s just her and she’s amazing. You’d be crazy not to go here!!! Love her!!!

Working with Vassa was the absolute best. She is so sweet, accommodating and professional. She gives every bride their own time for a personalized experience and really listens to her clients. The store has a well-curated collection of beautiful gowns. Vassa gave me a selection of every type of style I had in mind and more, and when I was undecided between two she let me leave for a few hours to think about it and come back to try them both on again that night. That's just one example of how she goes out of her way to accommodate her customers. And in the end I made the perfect choice! I absolutely love my gown and my experience was so enjoyable that my mom decided to get her dress from Vassa as well. Highly recommend!

Vassa is incredible

Vassa's bridal boutique was the first and last place I looked for my bridal gown. As soon as I met her, we instantly connected, and she listened to every detail I was looking for in my dream dress; I felt like she just got me. The first dress she had me try on was the dress I got married in - she hit the nail on the head! She was an absolute doll to work with and made fittings such easy and comfortable experiences. I trusted her with every single thing, so much so that I had her come to my venue to be "my person". She dressed both me and my mom, and pretty much helped me stay sane! Amazing experience!

had lost my mother the year before I got engaged. I knew dress shopping was going to be hard, but it ended up being a lot harder then I thought until I met Vassa. Prior to going to Wedding Dress Couture by Vassa, I had been to about 15 stores and tried on over 150 dress (yes, that many!), not every experience was relaxing, fun or enjoyable. I was losing hope and getting very discouraged because I had not experienced that "WOW" feeling a bride should feel when they find their dress.
When I first spoke to Vassa on the phone, she made me feel so at ease and relaxed about looking for my dress. She assured me I would have a positive, fun and stress-free experience at her store, and she was correct!! Her collection of dresses are very unique, beautiful and arranged perfectly. Her store as well as her dresses are extremely clean, neat and tidy, which was refreshing to see after all the stores I had visited.
Vassa welcomed me with open arms and a big hug!! She sat and went over my pictures, my vision and what I was looking for. I felt so comfortable trying on the dresses she suggested. Vassa is beyond talented and very skilled with her knowledge of dresses and tailoring. Because of her, I found my dream dress in under an hour and left having felt that "WOW" feeling which I thought would not happen, it was amazing!! My dress was flawless. Every inch fit me perfectly and I was extremely comfortable all night. At every fitting, she made sure each piece of fabric was even and where it needed to be. She listened to any concerns I may have had and by my last fitting, she made sure I loved how my dress fit me.
From the moment I walked into her store, to my last fitting, Vassa was so supportive, encouraging and had such a positive vibe. I still remember her telling me before we met, she would cheer me on as I tried on dresses, she truly is amazing and one of a kind.
At her store, you are the ONLY bride. That alone is beyond wonderful!! I hated trying on dresses with other brides and having to watch them share their experience and that special moment with their mothers, it broke my heart. Having the whole store to myself was so relaxing and made my shopping experience actually fun, enjoyable and special. It truly was an intimate experience. I am so grateful to have met Vassa and cannot thank her enough for all her help and support. I got countless compliments on my dress and it photographed beautifully. I highly recommend setting up an appointment! You won't be disappointed.

The best decision!

Vassa! I can't believe I'm on my honeymoon reviewing my "best decision". I say best decision because my dress was flawless, and what's a wedding without a dress? From the first time I walked in I knew this was the place. One on one is the best feeling/experience in the world and that's exactly what Vassa provides! I felt like a princess. I gave her a budget and she stayed UNDER that budget, which I have never had that done before! Her alterations were fun, yes I said it, FUN! Between her flawless work and laughter we always had a ball!! The dress was stunning and when it was complete, it was beyond stunning! Vassa was absolutely incredible. I never dreamed you can have such a special experience dress shopping. She provides the most amazing private experience in her gorgeous boutique and holds your hand through the entire process. She has a keen eye for understanding exactly what you’re looking for and does a great job to help you focus on what you want to try on and does not push anything on you. She recommended me trying a gown on that I would not have considered for myself and ended up being exactly wha ti was looking for. I knew I wanted to get my dress from Vassa even before I met her. I heard great things about her through friends and Facebook. Working with Vassa was the best experience I can imagine. I wasn't crazy about any of the dresses she had but she was willing to order me a sample of a dress that I was eyeing for awhile by a brand that she carries (Enzoani). Of course I loved the dress and it was the one but as a backup she did order me other styles that were similar to that dress. Seriously don't go anywhere else. Vassa is worth it!

This was the best experience a bride could ask for! Having the shop just for yourself and your bridal group made the experience very personal. Every detail was thought of and double checked. A bride leaving with a dress will know the care that was taken to make sure your dress will fit as perfect as it can be. Will recommend to all my friends getting married!!

My wedding would not have been the same without Vassa! She is so talented at knowing how to find the perfect dress. I got the first dress I tried on and I absolutely loved it. Every step of the way Vassa was professional. She was so patient with me through all the fittings. I am not one to love looking in the mirror or at pictures of myself but in this dress- I couldn’t get enough! I put the dress on everyday for about two weeks after the wedding because I loved it so much!!! I highly recommend shopping here!!!!

As the mother of the bride, I was looking for something special to wear to my daughter's wedding... you certainly did that and more!!! Vassa, you were simply amazing, you knew what I had envisioned, and voila, you designed my beautiful dress!

When you meet Vassa, she seems to instantly understand your style and preferences, like a close friend. It sounds totally weird, but I assure you that it really happened! She makes you feel like a princess every time you are in her store. Her warm, bubbly personality is contagious, and she makes it such a positive experience, from start to finish. I had visited 6 other stores first, and was so glad that I ended up working with Vassa. Not only does she have a vast selection of more gorgeous gowns than you will find elsewhere, but she never pressures you with her opinions. I went back three times before deciding on my dress, at which point we celebrated with wine and a small photo shoot! At my fittings, I felt confident that Vassa knew what she was doing, and she's truly a perfectionist - In addition to pinning my dress, she took photos on her phone of each little detail so she would know how to fix it perfectly. And, all her meticulous work paid off. Guests at my wedding kept telling me that my dress was the most gorgeous one they've ever seen! I'm already crossing my fingers that friends will want to come back to Vassa for their dresses, so I can accompany them!

I truly will never find enough words to describe my amazing experience with Vassa at Wedding Dresser Couture. Vassa is truly an angel! She welcomes you into her store with arms wide open making you feel so comfortable. My first stop searching for a wedding dress was with Vassa and I never looked anywhere else. The first appointment she sat with me getting to know me, my style and a feel for my pinterest likes. Going off of what I had explained to her and showing her my ideas of what I thought I would feel comfortable in she starting pulling dresses in all different styles. At first I was nervous but that changed very quick. Vassa truly makes you feel so comfortable, she is amazing at her job and truly has a passion for what she does. Her goal is to make you feel like that princess bride you always dreamed of and she does not stop working until she knows you are 10000% satisfied. She made everything stress free (which is very hard for me). During all of my fittings she was on her hands and knees making sure every stitch was properly done, all ends were even and continuously made sure every inch of my dress properly fit me! My dress was gorgeous!!! It fit absolutely perfect and was extremely comfortable all day and night! I highly recommend you using Vassa, you will never want to leave her! I need more adjectives ... person to ever even grace this wedding world. Not once, but twice, did she go out of her way to help schedule my fittings for me at a convenient time. She makes you feel so special each moment she spends with you - and when you hire her for day of consulting - you WILL NOT regret your choice. She will take you in and out of your dress as many times as you need her to - need some air, a drink, greasy food - just call on Vassa to help you out. I cannot say enough good things about Vassa!!! She is such a welcoming and helpful person and an expert at wedding dresses!! I gave her an idea of what I wanted and the 2nd dress she had me try on wound up being THE dress. She made sure it fit perfectly and was comfortable. She was so helpful throughout the entire fitting process, teaching my mom how to properly bustle the dress, how to sit and even how to fluff it so it looked great in pictures!! You're the only bride in the store every time you meet with her which made me feel so special. I would recommend Vassa to any bride looking for not only a beautiful dress but an overall wonderful experience.

Vassa is amazing. As someone who hates trying on dresses because they never fit, she made the entire process from beginning to end so seamless and easy! The store is closed to only you for the appointment so you get all of her attention and she was budget conscious when showing me dresses. Fittings and alterations were easy with her as well! Bass wasn’t so personable throughout the whole process! Even scheduled and additional fitting for free. The only issue i had was that one of the hooks for my button broke but that happens. My dress was gorgeous and she knew exactly how to fit me. She also did not push me above my budget. I loved my experience with Vaasa and I highly recommend!

Working with Vassa was amazing! Vassa is incredible!! She makes private appointments with each bride, so you feel like absolute royalty during your session. She goes through every single dress that interests you until you find your dream grown. Every single fitting was an incredible and personal experience. Furthermore, we hired vassa for the day to get my mom and I ready on the big day. She was a LIFESAVER. Some of my girls needed their dress fixed, and she was with me every step of the night. She re-glued my eye lash, got me in and out of my dress, and even adjusted my train and Veil before walking down the aisle. Vassa is a dream come true for any and all brides. She was my favorite vendor by far, and all of mine were incredible!

I can't say enough amazing things about working with wedding dresser couture! Vassa is SO talented and never once did I have a doubt in my mind about my wedding dress! Not only is she an expert in her field, her dress selection is SO unique and different. I tried on atleast 50 dresses at various salons and never saw any like Vassa's selection!

I have many friends who are engaged and they only have one or 2 fittings. This was not the case with wedding dresser couture. We started fittings in February for my July wedding! I was even encouraged to come in with a hair trial/ makeup trial, shoes, and jewelry to try on my dress before fittings started or my dress came in using the sample.

Vassa made me feel so comfortable and secure! Each fitting was a private appointment in which she closed the boutique so I had her complete attention. I never felt rushed.

My bridal attendant on my wedding day even made a point to tell me she's NEVER seen a dress like mine, and that throughout her career many times has seen duplicate dresses on various brides!

Vassa made me feel SO special and beautiful on my big day. I would recommend wedding dresser couture to every bride!!!!!!!

I had been to 2 other wedding dress stores, and Wedding Dresser Couture was our last stop. The moment we walked into the store, I knew I wanted to get my dress here. Vassa is incredible and so helpful. She listened to what I was looking for in a dress and brought countless options, as well as other styles she thought would look good on my body that I never thought of. The last dress she picked ended up being the dress! It was totally different than the thought I came in with, but it fit like a glove and was gorgeous. One of my favorite parts about this experience was that we were trying on dresses and picking the ones that looked the best. I had no idea the brands I was trying on, and I honestly didn't know the brand of my wedding dress until I put it on for my wedding. That's the way it should be! Vassa is very thorough and we had atleast 4 fittings, and if the dress wasn't perfect, she would have scheduled another fitting because she's a perfectionist. We also hired Vassa to come to the wedding to help me put the dress on for pictures and help walk down the aisle. This was the best thing we did all day! Vassa really helped me since it is an anxious day and a lot is happening. She puts you at ease and makes sure every picture looks fabulous and that the dress stays in good shape until the wedding ceremony. I really enjoyed working with Vassa and I know you will too if you go to her!

Vassa was incredible! Her shop was the first store I visited and I bought my wedding dress that very same day. She has an exquisite eye and knew exactly what I was picturing to wear on my wedding day. I told her the style that I liked, my budget and that my wedding would be a destination wedding. The very first dress she picked I ended up buying and fell completely in love with the dress. For every fitting that I went to she had a perfectionist eye to detail to things that I would never notice. I also loved the idea that I was the only bride in her store and that she books by appointment only. You always have her full attention and devotion. She absolutely loves what she does for a living. Vassa was fantastic. I am very particular about dresses and clothes so when three of my friends got their dresses from her I knew I had to go to Vassa's store. Prior to her store, I went to four other popular bridal boutiques and did not have great experiences. The first dress I tried on in Vassa's store was it for me. Overall, she has very unique, beautiful dresses. My dress was "Isleboro" by Enzoani and it is timeless and beautiful. I also love how it is just you and her in the store and not eighty other brides. She literally shuts down the store for you and your family members so it is a more intimate, "not rushed" experience. After I picked my dress and had the fittings, she was so helpful and wonderful. She also helped design my veil, which came out gorgeous. I know people always say "your dress is beautiful" the night of your wedding, but I got "your dress is my favorite." I highly, HIGHLY recommend Vassa.

I was never a girl who always dreamt of getting married. I went into Vassa's wedding shop and the first dress I tried on I knew it was the one. It had every bit of me on it. Some bling, some lace, it was absolutely gorgeous. I got it on the spot without going to any other shops because that was it. With every bit of wedding planning I wasn't sure about all my other vendors but I knew I loved my dress and that got me through. At each fitting she had such a great eye for every detail on my dress! We even had Vassa come the day of our wedding to help with my dress and she was such an amazing asset! She made sure I ate and drank, she fixed my lip gloss, and even helped me to the bathroom, but most of all she made sure every one of my photos came out perfect! I would highly recommend Wedding Dresser Couture to all my friends and family!

My whole experience at Wedding Dresser Coutoure was fabulous! From the moment I walked into the shoppe to the moment she left the wedding, Vassa was professional, kind, and caring. I was very confused on the type of dress I wanted and had many different visions. Vassa took my visions and literally found a dress that fit all of them! She is a true talent in the business! On top of that, Vassa made every moment feel important. Each fitting was special and was a wonderful experience. My favorite experience was having Vassa the day of the wedding. She was there to help with everything. No task was too small or too big for Vassa to do! I did not have to worry about a single thing the day of my wedding. I'm not sure why anyone would buy a dress anywhere else when there is Wedding Dresser Couture by Vassa!

Vassa is THEE wedding dress guru. Do not go anywhere else!!!! She has an unbelievably beautiful selection of dresses. She made my dress picking a breeze, she knew exactly what would look good on me, and was able to pull dresses I would have never thought of. She looks at your body and knows exactly how to dress it. Furthermore, she tailors the dress to fit your body as if it is a custom made gown that was made exactly for YOU. She is extremely detail oriented, patient, and takes pride in her work and it shows. Down to the last few days before my wedding she made sure every part of my dress was perfect, I've never felt more beautiful in my life than on my wedding day, and it is all because of HER. Most importantly, aside from her unbelievable talent, she is the warmest, most delightful woman who takes all the stress out of the process and really puts you at ease. From the moment I walked into my first appointment with Vassa, I had the most personal and unique experience in her boutique! I'm very indecisive and she was extremely patient and flexible with me. I'm beyond thrilled to have worked with her in finding my dream wedding gown. Not only did Vassa make the in-store experience special, but she held everything together the day of my wedding. Having her there as my dresser was the best decision I ever made and I honestly don't know what I would have done without her that day - she made wonderful suggestions (aside from handling the dress) along the way. Best experience! I had gone to a few other spots to try to find a dress and was unsuccessful. A friend recommended I go to Vassa and I am SO glad that I went. Vassa is extremely professional and great at what she does. Vassa listened to what I wanted, but also suggested dresses that she thought would work for my body. I found (she suggested) a dress that I loved and purchased. Not only was my initial experience great, but Vassa made sure this dress fit my body PERFECTLY. She made sure I was comfortable in it, made sure it was fitted to my body and ready for my wedding day. Vassa even made sure to take the time to teach my friends how to properly bustle my dress. Vassa is efficient, professional, and makes sure you are happy with your dress and experience. I was very happy with my dress and working with Vassa.

I cannot say enough about my experience shopping with Vassa. From the moment I stepped in her store, she was attentive and an expert in her field. There is only one bride in the salon at a time, so you are sure to get her undivided attention. She was calm and reassuring through the whole process (it's YOUR day! Which sometimes can be lost in the excitement or with those that shop with you!) I selected the most beautiful gown (one of hundreds of perfect gowns in her store); she and her team meticulously altered it during fittings and I felt absolutely comfortable and amazing on my big day. A co-worker recommended that I go to Wedding Dresser Couture by Vassa in Woodmere. Although it was a bit of a drive, I decided to give it a shot. Not only does Vassa have a variety of dresses to choose from that fit many different styles and types, she is more than a pleasure to work with. She is calm, cool and collected at all times. She is on schedule and follows up with everything. At every fitting she is there and on-point. I just felt good every time I left there. After working with many different vendors and people while planning the wedding, Vassa was my favorite. She helped work in my budget and is very accommodating. My experience with Vassa was amazing. She helped me pick an absolutely beautiful dress based on what I liked, my body type as well as utilizing her professional opinion which was very welcomed and greatly appreciated. Once the dress came and it was time for my first fitting she was patient with me and explained each and every step of the process. During each fitting she made sure that I was completely comfortable in the dress and answered any questions or concerns that I may have had. Overall I could not have asked for a more kind and professional woman and such a great experience. After searching for my perfect wedding dress at multiple stores a friend suggested that I go to Wedding Dresser Couture. From the beginning Vassa went above and beyond helping me find my perfect dress. Her personalization and attention to detail far exceed any other store I visited. I knew I never had to worry about anything with Vassa. She made sure that all of fittings were scheduled well in advance and she kept me informed when my dress, veil and head piece were going to arrive. The experience I had at Wedding Dresser Couture By Vassa was exceptional! Vassa has such an amazing eye for detail and totally gets what kind of look you are trying to go for- even if you don't know exactly yourself! She guided me through the try-on process and gave me a variety of gowns, so when I knew it was the one---I was SO sure and confident in my decision. I loved the experience at the boutique so much, I decided to hire Vassa for the day of my wedding as well. I cannot say enough amazing things about Vassa. I had gone to 2 other dress stores but nothing beat the attentiveness and special VIP treatment that I received at WDC. Vassa became more like a friend than a saleswoman. We weren't allowed to take pictures, which at first I wasn't so happy about, but when I tried on my dress for the first fitting, months later, I felt like I was seeing it for the first time and all those "yes" feelings came back. The prices are extremely reasonable (everyone asked if I spent thousands at my wedding...I did not) and the experience you receive is unlike any other place. You get to pick one dress...make it an incredible experience with Vassa!!

I got married May 27, 2016..

From when I was 7 years old I have been around wedding dresses. My mother and my aunt were in the bridal business where I got to see all these women coming in with excitement looking for that one dress that spoke to them, making it theirs! . Being 28 at the time, it was my turn to be that woman walking into a store and choosing "the dress". But I had to choose the right store and that was Vassas! .. Vassa, not knowingly, I knew who she was. When she was younger, she was a consultant who worked with my mother and aunt at the time and I couldn't think of any other person to help me find my dress, other than her , Vassa who knows her wedding dresses from in and out , who has so much expirence in this business. She was.. the person! When my mother and I walked right in , we explained who we were and how I was that little girl walking around in awe of all these dresses and girls looking for their own. She is amazing and I am so happy when my dress came in it couldn't be any more perfect. She is very accommodating and making you feel like a million bucks! I couldn't be happier!
