Rev Vicky was so amazing. I was nervous about hiring an officiant, since we knew for sure that we didn't want a religious ceremony, but I'm so happy we went with Vicky. She was patient and flexible, and answered all of our questions - and sent us an amazing info packet on formatting the ceremony! That made it so much easier to figure out. She was early to every event, helped calm us down when we were nervous, and did an excellent job orating during the ceremony, with a strong, clear voice. I was so thrilled with it; it was also very important to my wife and I that we have vendors who were LGBTQ friendly, and you were so joyous and happy for us that it lifted our moods like nothing else. It was also a relief that she handled all of the paperwork and filing seamlessly. Thank you so much for being our officient - I'm so grateful to have had you there!

Most Amazing Officiant EVER!!!
Reverend Victoria guided me and my husband through the entire process of getting married, because she knows exactly what to do and where to do it at. We took her recommendation for a Riverside wedding and she made it so special for us. Savannah is incredibly beautiful, but I can’t think of a better place to get married than right by that water, with the most wonderful woman we ever could’ve met. She’s a part of our family now! Absolutely the best! Highly recommend!!

The Best Choice I promise
Rev Victoria is such a pleasant lady. So caring and sweet. She was so accommodating to us. She actually came after work through rush hour traffic to our home. She wasn’t even going to charge us extra , but I wanted to give her at least gas money . She’s the best priced one that services this area . Most are $400 and up . She is much more reasonable I assure you. Ours ran $150 and I scheduled it yesterday! Talk about response time ! If you need a officiant to marry you in the Savannah area ; you would be absolutely crazy for coco puffs to hire anyone but this sweet woman. Background as a minister of a church. We are so glad we chose Rev. Victoria to officiate our wedding! She was incredibly responsive and accommodating, even though we planned the whole thing from across the country & had multiple COVID-related postponements. None of it phased her. Rev. Victoria takes the time to understand if you want more traditional/religious elements, secular elements, or a mix. She sent us some amazing ceremony ideas to truly make it our own, and we did a unity paint ceremony instead of a unity candle. She wrote a beautiful script for it, and everyone loved the ceremony. The day-of, she was calm in the midst of the typical wedding-day chaos of family and photography and stress. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I can not begin to thank Victoria again for everything she has done this past year for my husband and I. If it were not for her, I can guarantee our wedding day would have turned to a disaster VERY quickly! I found Victoria in a Facebook group for weddings. I had been looking for officiants, and the one my venue recommended was $1,100, which to me is CRAZY. Victoria responded to my post and explained why I was quoted so much, and her prices are insanely better. Victoria is super friendly and professional. She was able to customize our ceremony to fit our needs. She gave some great advice and insight along the way. She made sure our ceremony was able to flow smoothly. She also reminded us that if we got a little nervous or needed direction on where to go/what to do next, she was there to help us the entire way.

After our wedding ceremony, we were positive we had made an excellent decision by employing Reverend Burnett as the officiant. She was open and cooperative with the tone we envisioned for our wedding. Reverend Burnett was helpful in offering suggestions to shape parts of our ceremony for which we were undecided, but always yielded to our preferences. We did, however, use many of her suggestions, which turned out beautifully. She was very flexible on when and where we could meet to plan the wedding, and there was great comfort in knowing she only commits herself to one ceremony per day. For such personalized service, her fee was completely reasonable. After the ceremony, we invited Reverend Burnett to eat and visit with us and our guests (we had a small house wedding of about 25 people). She was very involved in the taking of pictures, serving cake, and in conversation with our families and friends. Reverend Burnett's presence at our wedding was truly a pleasure.

Our friends who got married about 5 years ago, recommended Rev. Victoria to us. She officiated their wedding and did a great job. We decided to meet up with her and have a consultation. After speaking with her, we knew we found the right officiant for us. We knew we would be in good hands since she has officiated hundreds of weddings. We wanted someone who would know what they are doing and someone we can count on. Rev. Victoria is genuine and has a very nice personality. She lets you customize your whole wedding ceremony and gives the option of how religious or modern you want it to be. She has a great speaking voice that projects well. I found Rev. Burnett using theknot.com. I was searching for a non-denominational officiant that wouldn't break the bank. I not only found that but also connected with someone who is very passionate about her job and the service she provides. It's difficult planning a wedding in IL when you live in TN but Rev. Burnett went above and beyond to make our service beautiful. Her packet of suggested ceremony activities, vows and schedule were helpful and kept my stress to a minimum. It was wonderful to have her perform our service because she not only was very kind but has a great sense of humor and works hard to fulfill your wishes for your ceremony. My review is not timely but Rev. Burnett certainly was! She is a true professional.

Reverend Victoria Burnett of WE R ONE WEDDINGS was wonderful. My husband and I knew what we wanted and Reverend Burnett worked with us to have it just that way. The day of the wedding it rained two and half hours before the outdoor, backyard ceremony but that made no difference to Reverend Burnett. Even with the mud in the yard and rain dripping on us she made our wedding fun and memorable. If you are looking for that special officiate who lets you have your wedding your own way give Reverend Victoria a call.

Victoria was great to work with. She was very sweet and put us at ease. She was willing to meet or discuss on the phone any ceremony ideas we had and it was all included in the price. We wrote our own ceremony but we wound up using some of her ideas and suggested readings to incorporate into our ceremony. We had a nonreligious ceremony but still wanted it to be meaningful for us, and she helped to accomplish that. She was on time to every meeting and helped us with the rehearsal-she was very understanding when we got started on the rehearsal a bit late also and stayed as long as we needed her. She was a good speaker and performed the ceremony well-you could tell she had practiced it and had it down. The only thing I would have done differently in hindsight is to discuss a certain point in the ceremony we would like her to put the book with her notes down because it was a little awkward with her hands full. As far as I could tell from interviewing different officiants is they all use notes if you write your own ceremony to make sure they include everything, so having notes in itself is normal. We had several people compliment us on the ceremony including the DJ, who sees a lot of ceremonies as part of his work. She was also the most reasonably priced officiant we found, and there were no extra fees for the rehearsal, meetings, etc.

She did a great job. She arrived early. Communicated completely through e-mail, promptly and effectively. Ceremony was right on (we didn't have a rehearsal). Note book didn't seem in the way at all (as mentioned in other posts). Spoke very clear with great annunciation. Only thing I didn't care for was my DJ coming over right after we entered in reception from the recessional to tell me, "The officiant needs your marriage license, she would like to get out of here." But, that may have just been the way the DJ communicated it to us, not her.
Competitively priced with others in the area.
On our part, I wish we would have rehearsed =)

So sorry Stephanie I had no idea he had spoken to you that way. I walked into the hall and the DJ asked if I was leaving and I said no that I had to wait for the license and he said he would remind you. There was no time limit.

Our Wedding
Victoria was very helpful and very willing to make our ceremony whatever we wanted it to be! She also provided advice and helped us make decisions that best reflected us. The only hesitation I had was that I wish we spent more time rehearsing the entire ceremony, and letting each person practice walking down the aisle because people in my party wished they had practiced. The rehearsal felt kind of rushed but all turned out well, our ceremony went exactly as we planned and how we wanted! I'd recommend Victoria to another couple!

Victoria was supposed to arrive at our ceremony around 5:00 pm. She didn't come until 5:30 due to traffic. We attempted to call her to find out where she was and there was no answer or call back. This created a lot of stress and high emotions right before my ceremony. She came at 5:30 and started right away with the ceremony but then seemed a bit "off". She did great the week before at our rehearsal.

The couple forgot to mention the ceremony was to start at 5:30 so it did start on time. I was witness to an accident and was forced to give a statement to an officer before he would allow me to leave. I may have been a bit shaken from this incident. As well as the irate parents that wouldn't allow me to explain as they cornered me while I tried to start the service, and was interrogated worse than by police. Despite the whole mess prior, the wedding did start on time. I think I did quite well under the circumstances.
