Wonderful and talented!
Jenny did such an amazing job in making me feel beautiful on my special day. She took my inspiration on what I liked, and ran with it - giving me the perfect look in hair and makeup. She's very sweet and a pleasure to work with, and cared that I was happy with how I looked - making sure I was flawless. I got so many compliments, thanks to her amazing talent. I love her work and working with her! -

Amazing work!
Jenny and Haley did a fantastic job! They are very kind and were fun to have around as we got ready. I loved my hair and the beautiful natural makeup look Jenny created. My bridesmaids all loved their updos and makeup as well. Definitely recommend! -

I booked Jenny from We are Paperdolls for both hair and makeup for bridesmaids and mother of groom. Jenny was responsive to text and e-mail (we were working with a short timeline) and flexible. We had a large party so she secured a second artist and coordinated with my sister to develop a timeline that was executed without hitch. We had a last minute change in schedule because one of my sisters (who was also my matron of honor) was unable to come for hair and makeup because of pregnancy sickness. Jenny and her team switched the schedule up without giving anyone grief or even batting an eyelash. They arrived promptly and were professional and respectful throughout the morning.
I highly recommend Jenny for blow outs and up dos, as well. She did an incredible job with each bridesmaid and was working with different types of skin, different textures and lengths of hair, among other factors.
If we were to do it over again, I would hire her again! -

I used this vendor for my make-up & hair for a trial/wedding day.
Jenny did a fabulous job on my hair and make-up for the trial and wedding. She even went above and beyond to do my fiancé’s hair.
My only complaint is that I do not feel as though the $100 contract fee for Paper Dolls is appropriate, as it does not count toward your balance. -

Short story: she is talented and I looked beautiful on my wedding day. The artists she is in community with that she put on her team? Phenomenal. Loved them, so incredibly talented. BUT I had to basically babysit her the entire planning process on various things you would expect a professional to do themselves. She was LATE on the day of and caused me to stress all that day and made my wedding run over an hour late causing me to lose money I had put toward an extra hour with the venue bc they had to close at a certain time so I didn’t actually get that time. She didn’t match the trial to what we did day of.
She is a nightmare of a wedding vendor. Do not work with her.
Long story: if you want your wedding planning to be easy or on time DO NOT sign contract directly with this company. She is a talented MUA so having her in your team of artists? Sure, maybe. But as a bride, the entire process with her was so difficult. Because of COVID we had to reschedule multiple times. At first, Jenny was helpful and considerate of that. Other than being scatterbrained and my having to constantly remind her I needed a final timeline and a schedule or send her a list of names and services for my girls multiple times (even though she could look back in our texts or at her paid invoices and see what info was needed..) I also had to hold her to her own contract. We had so many frustrating phone calls where I would read off her own contract to her on her own policies that she was not enforcing and expected me to be responsible for fees and payments not mentioned in the contract anywhere. She got confused and tried enforcing a contract I never signed and ignored the one I did. I ended up just throwing in the towel and paying her twice just to be done with it and move forward with the planning.
We had multiple trials because of all the reschedules and what not.
Then, day of the wedding she shows up 90 minutes late. She had not sent the directions to the other artist that I had provided to her so the other lady was on time but had been lost that morning trying to find us.
Anyway she shows up 90 minutes late and acting really strangely. She talks to me about “the lady you signed contract with..” because she had forgotten we had signed contract with her? I’m not sure. The other artist had to remind her this was HER contract and what wedding she was at. By the time she got to me, the bride, we were already SO late and I was completely stressing all day because of it. I ended up crying halfway through because the make up she was doing on me wasn’t what we did in trial- she hadn’t even brought the lashes we did in trial with her.
Once she finished we rushed out and over to the venue where my girls had to fix some things on my make up.
I ended up looking beautiful on my wedding day but wow what an experience.
