  The absolute best team

  From the very first time I saw Water & Whimsy's work, I knew I HAD to have them for our wedding. Their videos are out of this world good, unlike anything I have ever seen. They have such an incredible talent for capturing each couple and their day so uniquely and authentically, I always feel like I am present in the day when I watch one of their videos. The bonus? They also do photography which makes the day so much more seamless. They are a husband and wife team who work incredibly well together and know how to navigate around each other so there is never any tension between teams. We have only gotten our photo sneak peeks back and I'm already so in love. While we are dying to see the video I know it's going to be phenomenal and worth the wait. There is not a single doubt in my mind.
  
  As a wedding photographer myself, I knew the importance of choosing a photo/video team that didn't just do good work but whose personalities would mesh well with ours. Katie and Zach fit so seamlessly into our group, they're people we could very easily be friends with and that our friends would be friends with. It makes the day so much more special (and frankly way easier/less stressful) to have vendors you genuinely like and get along with and they are SO easy to be around. I feel so lucky that we got them to capture our day.

  A must have vendor!

  Our experience of working with Water and Whimsy was truly amazing. We replanned our whole wedding in just over a month and Katie was so helpful, I'd like to say she was our second wedding planner ;) The replanning process was stressful, but she was there to help, give ideas, and just listen... all the things we needed in such a confusing time. We are SO OBSESSED with our video. We can't turn it off and we are crossing our fingers that video's can somehow soon be displayed as art work in a home?!?! The way the music matches with the footage is just so good, especially in our highlight. Not only does it capture our love so well, but it captures the whole night spot on. We wanted our wedding to be one that was emotional, heartfelt, but also a big party with our favorite people and it's exactly that. We haven't once pressed play and been able to hide a tear. We will forever continue to recommend them to every friend of ours soon to be married, we would be doing a disservice if we didn't.

  Wedding film, Michigan

  I was so obsessed with my film. Y'all incorporated exactly what I asked for. I like that my video was special to me, it was unique and I feel like it captured our vibe. It brought back all the feels and I cry happy tears every time I watch it. I loved the voice overs of special parts of the day and the candidness of the film. To be honest, there were so many parts of the film that while I was watching that didn't even realize y'all had captured that. I liked that I never felt uncomfortable or like there was a camera in my face. It was such a fun experience. All my guest enjoyed the 2 of you. I loved the drone footage, SO HAPPY that was an option. YES I would most definitely recommend to any couples looking for a videographer. This was by far some of the best money I spent on my wedding. THANK YOU!!!

  Zach and his partner Katie provided exceptional service and quality of work. They were incredibly fun and easy to work with and made the whole day seem so easy. They captured our day so beautifully, and have an artful style that you can't compare to others! We are so grateful to have had them video our day, 12/10 would recommend!

  Tip of the Mitt Video is awesome! Matt is a wonderful photographer and just a generally wonderful person. After months of going back and forth about if we wanted a videographer, my husband and I decided to pull the trigger and go for it; we are so glad we did. He was very laid back, professional, and easy to work with throughout the entire process My husband and I are both a little camera-shy, so I’ll admit I went a little bridezilla on Matt. I told him that I didn’t want him to be in the way at all or interrupt us at any point to get video, but that we wanted a great output. He absolutely delivered on this ridiculous request. As I watched our footage, I kept thinking to myself, “how the heck did he get that shot?! I didn’t even know he was there!” He also went above and beyond on delivery, making a special video clip for my husband’s grandma, who was too ill to attend the wedding. We are so glad that we went with Tip of the Mitt for our wedding videography, and I can’t recommend Matt highly enough!

  Tip of the Mitt Videography made our wedding day so special! I can not imagine not having our wedding video to look back on. We were very hesitant to invest in a wedding videographer until we found Tip of the Mitt! The video was delivered in a timely manner, and Matt was very professional. The video is by far my favorite part looking back on. If you are on the border of a videographer, definitely check Tip of the Mitt out. The quality of the video is excellent, and the investment is very reasonable compared to other videographers in the Northern Michigan area. Thanks again Matt!

  Highly recommend Zach & Katie!

  We are absolutely in love with our video from Zach and Katie! We had a really hard time finding a cinematic videographer in our style, and we weren't sure that we would have wedding video at all. Then we stumbled upon Zach and Katie and are SO glad that we did! They were a pleasure to work with and answered all of our questions. They were fun and easygoing on our wedding day and we honestly didn't even notice they were there during our ceremony. They captured all of our raw emotions and favorite memories with our friends and family and we can't stop watching our video. Seriously incredible. We can't say enough good things about working with them and would highly recommend them to anyone! One of my bridesmaids liked working with Zach and Katie so much that they are shooting her wedding as well.

  Matt did an excellent job!! He was so flexible with us which I really appreciated. Definitely an amazing bang for your buck. He's very talented but doesn't charge you an arm & a leg for your special day, which I believe shows that he's genuine.
