I cannot recommend working with Lynn and her staff at Water to Wine Weddings and Events enough! Lynn was absolutely amazing from the early stages of gathering inspiration all the way through bringing our vision to life.
As someone who struggles with making decisions, Lynn truly took that weight off my shoulders. She came to me with ideas and suggestions that were so thoughtful and intentionally crafted. She kept me calm, organized, and made everything feel completely manageable.
She really heard what I wanted, helped guide me in the right direction, and gave me the confidence to trust her throughout the entire process. I truly felt like I could rely on her to lead and trust the process.
She coordinated seamlessly with all of our vendors, and our timeline went off without a hitch. The space was even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Everything flowed so effortlessly on the day of the wedding, and Lynn was always there whenever I needed anything.
She made the entire experience feel fun, exciting, calm, and low-pressure—something I didn’t think was possible while planning a wedding.

We worked with Lynn Henderson from Water to Wine Weddings for our wedding in Southport, and hiring her was one of the best decisions we made.
From the start, Lynn was super friendly and easy to talk to, but also very confident and organized; you can tell she knows exactly what she’s doing. She was always quick to respond, answered every question thoroughly, and kept me on track the entire time, which I really needed. I was especially stressed dealing with family communication at times, and she stepped in and helped with that, which made a huge difference.
She connected us with amazing vendors, especially our photographer, Terah Hoobler, and Brittney at Versaal’s Florist. Everyone worked so well together and made the day feel easy and beautiful.
The day of the wedding, we had terrible weather and had to completely change our ceremony location. Lynn handled all of it. She coordinated with every vendor and made sure everything still ran smoothly, and I honestly didn’t have to worry about a thing.
Also, her team was AMAZING. They were all so kind, helpful, and on top of everything the entire day. They created such a calm, positive environment and made everything feel effortless.
Because of Lynn and her team, I was actually able to relax and enjoy my wedding day, which is exactly what you hope for. I would 100% recommend her to anyone—she’s organized, calm under pressure, and just really great to work with. We’re so grateful for everything she did! -

Lynn with Water to Wine Weddings & Events was hands down the best vendor I hired for my wedding. From our very first phone call (which was just a free consultation), I knew she was someone special!
She helped me through the planning process and thought of so many little details I never would have even considered. She also helped me save money in areas that didn’t matter as much so I could really focus on what was important to me, which I appreciated so much.
In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she was such a calming presence. She was always a text, call, or email away from small to large questions. Honestly, it felt like I was talking to a good friend rather than someone I hired. You can truly tell how much she cares about her clients, and that made such a difference.
On the day of the wedding, we were supposed to have our ceremony outside overlooking the beach, but the weather ended up being cold and rainy. Lynn handled everything so seamlessly. She coordinated with all of our vendors and completely switched everything to our Plan B—and somehow it turned out even better than Plan A. I didn’t have to worry about anything.
Her communication is amazing—she’s super responsive, organized, and always on top of it. My parents were obsessed with her and her team, and are still talking about how awesome they were!
Also, once everything was handled, her team even got out on the dance floor to keep the energy going.
My biggest goal for my wedding day was to just be present and enjoy time with the people I love, and Lynn is the reason I was able to do that. I would hire her again in a heartbeat and honestly just wish I had found her earlier in the process.Water to Wine Weddings & Events's reply:

Lynn and her team were amazing!! We worked together for 7-8 months for our home wedding for 125 people. The last month I couldn't have done it without Lynn. She was on top of all the vendors (and there were a ton since our home was the venue) and the day off I literally did nothing. They set everything up... checked on everyone throughout the entire night and cleaned everything up at the end of the night. I seriously couldn't have done it without her! A well appreciated Fantastic Day
Lynn and her crew planned out and facilitated many separate contributors to the wedding preparations and execution on behalf of bride and groom families, including (not limited to) St. James church event, Cape Fear River cruise, flowers, catering, wedding cake, photographers, transportation buses, rehearsal dinner, overnight accommodations, and wedding dinner reception activities.
The day’s complexity required constant attention to detail and her team traversed the challenges professionally with exceptional friendliness and spirit. She provided solid insights and recommendations based on her extensive knowledge of the Wilmington area suppliers and capabilities, then followed up on coordinating schedule and performance without a hitch.
Many thanks to her team and to all the various contractors, suppliers, vendors, and service providers for helping make this day a very memorable event for the bride, groom, bridesmaids and groomsmen, and the families and friends -- a huge success.

Spectacular!
Fabulous service!!! Working with Lynn was a breeze. She was the consummate professional, and empathic! This was a themed wedding set in three locations. That was a tall task, and Lynn took the time to know the bride and groom and the entire family and the vision to ensure to the day was perfect. That is exactly what happened. Lynn and her team are absolutely exceptional. Lynn recently planned my wedding and she made every step of the way so much more stress free from start to finish! Lynn was very personable, professional, helpful, organized and very detail oriented. She was always there with any questions I had throughout the process. On the wedding day, I was able to enjoy every step of the day and have a stress free day because I knew I was in good hands. Her and her team blew it out of the water and made my special day even more than I could have envisioned. They made sure every single detail was perfection. Robert Sent on 06/01/2025Elton John, Tina Turner, Dolly Parton, & BBQ: What Better 50th Birthday?
I cannot say enough good things about Lynn and what pulled off for my husband's 50th birthday. We started planning a year in advance working on themes based upon my husband's favorite things. I told her the things Jeff's loves and she worked with an external artist to come up with a logo that encompassed all of the things he loves. We used this on wine glasses as a party favor which were a hit! She had organized 3 nights of events. The first night, Lynn was able to find an Elton John impersonator who was one of the backups to Rocket Man the movie. She themed that evening around all things Elton-esque right down to boas, sunglasses, and all the glitz and glamor. The decorations were stunning and my husband was truly over the top happy!
Saturday she identified a venue we rented for dinner and a drag show. She worked with some of the talent from the Wilmington area and explained what my husband liked (Tina, Dolly, Cher). The night started with an amazing meal she helped pick out and once everyone was finished, the show started. EVERYONE had an amazing time with song, dance and while Lynn worked behind the scenes to keep everything on track! Not a missed anywhere.
Sunday was a BBQ at our house where I did not have to lift a finger. Tables and chairs were set, tents were up, and we had everything right down to a gelato cart and a bartender.
All in all my husband was to the moon and I cannot say enough good things about what Lynn did to make this 50th birthday bash a memorable experience. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Water to Wine Events!!Water to Wine Weddings & Events's reply:

Just Perfecr!
Water to Wine Weddings & Events helped us to make our wedding day everything we had dreamed of and more! Lynn met with us on multiple occasions. After listening to our vision of our perfect wedding day, Lynn gave us great advice and pointed us in the right directions. Lynn and her team are well organized and very knowledgeable about the local resources available such as vendors and florist. Lynn kept us on track and made sure everything was well organized and planned out perfectly for our wedding. It was wonderful not to be bothered with the small details on the day of our wedding! We just enjoyed our day while Lynn and her team took care of everything else! The decorations were beautiful and everything went smoothly, it was amazing! My husband and I got married from out of state, and though we had initially planned to do all of the planning on our own, we quickly realized we needed the help of a day-of-coordinator to make our big day a success. Lynn stepped right in and not only helped with all of the day-of wedding happenings and rehearsal, but did so much more for us too! We are forever grateful to her for her knowledge of the area, connections to local vendors, and all of the things she pulled off to make our beach wedding day everything we dreamed of and more. We became quick friends from our regular phone calls, and she definitely helped to make our big day one that we'll never forget!!
