MUST HIRE!!! After Covid had me planning my third wedding - now in my parents backyard, I was on the verge on eloping. Samantha and Team at Watch Hill Catering helped me each step of the way in rethinking and replanning my entire wedding. I explained how I wanted to transform my parents backyard and they came through. Next thing I know they are talking twinkle lights, bar on wheels, dancefloor, candles, and farm tables with beautiful blue glasses. EVERYTHING was magical. Along with their extremely talented visions - they helped to coordinate everything. From checking in on everything we needed leading up to the wedding to bringing me my first glass of my signature sangria after walking down the aisle. Their support and attitude made everyone feel relaxed - it felt like I was planning a wedding with friends. Not only did they transform my parents backyard into the most magical venue straight out of a movie - but they took all my idea, dreams, and wishes and executed them to a level I didn't know was possible. Perfect Brunch Wedding Thanks to WHC
Watch Hill Catering made our brunch wedding at my parents’ house absolutely unforgettable! The food was phenomenal—nothing like typical wedding fare. I envisioned an upscale brunch wedding, which is a bit unconventional, but Sam and her team instantly understood and elevated it beyond anything I imagined.
Our wedding was in October, and months later, guests still tell me it was their favorite wedding with the best food they’ve ever had. Beyond the incredible cuisine, Sam’s problem-solving skills were a lifesaver. I realized the day before the event that I’d miscalculated the number of wine glasses I ordered, but Sam handled it effortlessly and saved the day. Despite working with just one oven at my parents’ home, every dish was served piping hot and perfectly prepared.
Sam and her team are the epitome of professionalism and excellence. If you’re looking for incredible food and a truly stress-free event, hire Watch Hill Catering. They’re simply the best!

Sam and her team were absolutely rockstars! They handled everything for us and the night perfectly. Sam and her staff were SO friendly, kind and accommodating. They were awesome and helped contribute to the hype of our party. Leading up to the event, Sam was quick to answer emails and help us with anything we needed. The food was DELICIOUS. All of our guests talked about how good the food was and how heavy the pours were for our open bar. I wish I was throwing another big event to work with them again. 11/10 recommend. -

Hands down the best caterer you could find
There are truly no words for how much my husband and I love Samantha and her staff. We live in New Jersey and planned our wedding in Newport with so much help from Samantha. From start to finish, she was always responsive, super nice, very knowledgeable and incredibly affordable.
The food was INCREDIBLE. There was not a single thing at our tasting that we didn’t love, it was hard to narrow down what to pick. Day of the food was even better than I remembered, and all of our guests said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. Samantha made sure my husband and I ate first, and saved 2 boxes of food for us at the end of the night. One of the guys on her staff even dropped it off at our hotel to get late since they knew we were going out after.
Not to mention Samantha basically acted as my wedding day coordinator, setting up all of our decor for us, getting us out the door on time and in order, making sure the DJ played the right song at the right time. She even ran up to the bridal sweet when I realized I forgot the wedding rings there.
She made this a truly perfect day and I am so grateful for her and her team.

We had our wedding after party here and it was absolutely perfect! We had the entire venue to ourselves, allowing for enough space for dancing, drinking games, and cigars. The late night snacks were perfect, and Samantha was so responsive. 10/10 recommend. -

We got married back in September. My husband and I couldn’t stop thinking about the food after Watch Hill set up a taste test to allow us to try everything we picked from their diverse menu options.
On the day of the wedding they handled everything from setting up the venue for the ceremony and reception, providing an amazing mobile pub that our guests loved, and their top tier appetizers and dinner. They even handled break down of all tables, chairs etc. The staff was amazing, and Sam did an amazing job handling everything that made our special day so memorable. -

1 Million Stars!!
From start to finish, WHC and Samantha were amazing. They handled the catering for both our wedding cocktail hour and reception, and our post-wedding brunch the next day. Every single person we interacted with went above and beyond our expectations. Food was incredible, elevated, and on par with that of a high-end restaurant and plated beautifully. Catering staff were so kind, fun, and professional. WHC helped coordinate with other vendors, double and triple checked all our invoices, asked all the right questions, and were just an absolute pleasure to work with. We cannot recommend them enough - for any event, of any size. Samantha Bengston was our point of contact and coordinator, and she is a superstar. Chef, Samantha, and the whole team - THANK YOU for making our perfect day all that much more special.

My husband and I got married in the backyard of my mother's house. Food is one of the reasons we avoided having a hotel wedding. It's always the same and always blah. Many of our wedding guests were flying in from out of town. For most, this was going to be their first and most likely last time visiting Rhode Island. We really wanted to be able to give our guests a taste of all the great food "Rhode Island/New England" has to offer. I actually randomly found Watch Hill Catering in a google search. I reached out and Samantha responded shortly after. She said they'd be more than happy to put together a sample menu based on the details I provided. They created a custom menu to match my “September New England Wedding” theme. We went for a tasting and asked to sign the paperwork right then and there. Their entire team is absolutely fantastic - Samantha, Marisa, the Executive Chef, bartenders, servers - seriously, everyone! They literally made all the food at my mom's house - cocktail hour with passed apps and pasta station and a sit-down dinner for 94 guests. They handled the cake-cutting. Plus, we had an iced coffee bar and a milkshake station. Two months later, my friends and family still talk about how unbelievable the food and drinks were. Mission accomplished! Watch Hill also made us a couple of fabulous signature cocktails and mocktails for the kids. They're seriously the best!! -

Watch Hill Catering put on a 90th birthday party that all our guests raved about. The food was delicious and the ocean-front venue was spectacular. Samantha and her crew were flexible, adjusting the venue only a couple hours before a thunderstorm was scheduled to hit. They designed a menu that satisfied all our guests, including delicious freshly steamed lobster. Impeccable service made the evening relaxed and enjoyable. -

Samantha and her team were so wonderful! She was willing to meet us closer to where we live and talk about catering options in the initial planning. We had a great tasting and they were flexible and had unique options. The tasting was like a dinner party. At the wedding, the catering team did all the decorating so beautifully and all of our guests complimented the unique food options and how refreshing it was compared to traditional wedding food. We used Watch Hill Catering for a high level donor event at a private home. They were excellent from start to finish - from helping to design a menu based on the group and venue to being flexible as changes arose. Onsite, the team was professional and followed through. There are not enough good words to describe Watch Hill Catering. We used them for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding. The whole staff worked with us to make my dream wedding happen in a short amount of time. They were VERY accommodating with the menu and allergies of guests. Samantha and the entire staff went above and beyond both nights to give unique and special touches to my wedding. 10/10 would recommend without hesitation to anyone who needs a catering service and we will definitely be using them again in the future. -

There's so many good things to say I don't know where to start! From the beginning Watch Hill Catering was awesome to work with. The sales and events manager Sam is incredibly responsive and just an overall awesome person. Throughout the planning process Sam listened to our needs and vision, was kind, knowledgeable, and flexible. We were married in Sept 2020 and our wedding was one impacted by COVID. As imagined aspects of our wedding day needed to be shifted and changed. Sam remained relaxed and calm reassuring us that her and her crew had it covered. And on the day of our wedding they sure did!!! Everything about our day was FLAWLESS and they brought our vision to life while also keeping safety in mind! To start the food was the MOST delicious (our guests could not stop talking about it). Chef and crew were also so creative and created cocktail hour options including individual charcuterie boards for our guests! Sam found us a beautiful farm table for our sweetheart table and worked with another vendor to create lighting that absolutely set the romantic vibe we were looking for! They also have the option of using this insanely cool mobile pub and it was a hit with our guests! I truly believe that without Watch Hill Catering our wedding day would not have been the magic that it was. We are forever grateful to their whole team. They did a great job ensuring safety during this crazy time. They prepared individually boxed labeled items with all condiments, silverware inside. It made our guests feel comfortable and made the day so much easier. They were easy to work with, organized and responsive. Our wedding during a Pandemic
We were married at our home in North Stonington in August of 2020. Even though the pandemic had hit, our guest list was small and we were planning on holding the event in our backyard. Watch Hill Catering made our wedding smooth and stress free. Starting with the basics; We got so many compliments on the food and bar package! There were so many different types of food options that allowed us to customize it for our guests and it was all so delicious! They also took care of all of the other rentals and vendor information for us so we only had one contact to deal with. Trying to plan a wedding during a pandemic, Samantha at Watch Hill Catering kept us up-to-date on things that had to be changed in order to keep everyone safe and they were also flexible with meetings, tastings, and guest counts. Overall, my husband and I were beyond pleased with their work and how seamlessly everything was executed! -

We had the pleasure of using Watch Hill Catering for our wedding on 10/5/19 at Sweet Berry Farm in Middletown, RI. We were blown away with the service from the initial planning, the execution of every little detail to the outstanding food and presentation! Samantha guided us through the entire process with the friendliest persona! Her suggestions were super helpful and we were so thankful to have her help! We couldn't have been happier with the service! The entire team was so friendly and accommodating to everyone! Samantha even personally attended to myself and my husband from the moment we arrived at the ceremony until we left the property! We received so many compliments on the food during the reception and it didn't stop there! We received phone calls and texts from the guests asking what items were offered on the cheese & charcuterie board and about the ingredients that were used in some of the other offerings! The presentation of the food was far beyond what we could have ever hoped for! The whole team truly went above and beyond! I highly recommend Watch Hill Catering if you want your mind to be put at ease and want an exceptional experience from the very beginning! -

Watch Hill catering went above and beyond for our Weekapaug wedding. We were so impressed with their level of service, quality of food, responsiveness, and professionalism. I had the best time working with Samantha and chef. They made it fun to plan a wedding and helped to make sure all details were addressed and requests (aka dreams) came true, and then some. They always listened to feedback, always answered questions, and created an menu for our tropical inspired wedding cocktail party and reception.
Every single one of our guests were blown away by the quality of the food the day of as well as the awesome bar service and selection. It was just as good as the tasting! I can’t speak more highly of them and would have NO hesitations in my recommendation for other couples to work with them. They knocked it out of the park and I know will make other weddings just as epic!! -

Watch Hill Catering went above and beyond my expectations for my dream wedding. Organizing and planning the event was so easy and seamless and they seemed to be available every moment I needed them. The day of the event was so picture perfect and the service alone would of been enough to make our day perfect but then once we ate dinner realized we were experiencing 5 stars all the way around. As a chef of 15 years I tend to not enjoy many meals I eat out but I feel like I talked about how amazing the food was that day more then getting married! Chef perfectly designed a menu around my preferences and execution was unbelievable. Everything cooked and seasoned perfectly and left myself and my 120 guest raving for weeks. I cant say enough about my experience here, Sam and Chef and the team absolutely are the best in the business! -

Sam assisted us with our wedding planning and helping to make the day go smooth! Our guests raved about the raw bar and charcuterie station. (my family is food snobs too) We did not do a formal sit down meal but all passed apps and they were delicious. Open bar was reasonable and they even have a great mobile pub truck.
. From the second we arrived to our vineyard for pictures and our big day someone from the group always was checking in if we needed food or drinks. My husband and I are not artistic or creative so Sam made our whole layout, helped create the vision and made it come together. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. They have an online platform for all communication and view document. They were definitely busy with weddings over the weekend but during busy summer months they replied mid week. Phone call check in were scheduled as well -
