I’m so glad I booked WPI for my bridal and wedding party hair and makeup! Before booking with WPI, I was so confused on how to go about booking hair and makeup artists for our wedding. From the start, Mariah was easy to communicate with and clear about the minimums for booking, which helped ease any anxiety I had previously.
Laura and Kathleen were assigned to do my bridal hair and makeup, respectively. They are both such a joy to work with and listened very intently on what I wanted. I loved the way my hair and makeup came out on the day-of and was thrilled that it lasted literally all day, through tears, big hugs, and lots of smiles. Laura and Kathleen also did my maid of honor, mom, mother-in-law, and flower girl’s hair and makeup, and I loved how they worked with them to get the look they each wanted. My mother-in-law in particular doesn’t wear makeup and Laura nailed a very natural look just for her.
I also added hair and makeup for my bridesmaids a bit last minute and Mariah worked with me to find two additional artisans for the wedding day. Although I didn’t get my hair and makeup done by Katie and Daphne, I appreciated them dropping their Saturday plans to come join us. I may be biased, but I think all of my girls turned out beautiful!Warpaint International Beauty Agency's reply:

At the trial, they were open to feedback and walked us through options that would work best for our look and comfort. I had the best experience with my wedding hair and makeup team! From the trial run to the final touch-ups on the big day, they were kind, professional, and incredibly talented. They listened closely to what I wanted and made any tweaks that I asked for- even last minute hair changes. My hair stayed perfect all night, and my makeup looked flawless in every photo. This company was amazing! Very understanding and flexible. I had Kathleen for hair, and I swear she’s a wizard. Then I had Taylor for makeup, and she worked wonders with my vision, which was a little off the normal bridal makeup. Absolutely pleased with these women 😊. -

WPI was amazing and highly recommended for my wedding. When looking for HMU, so many places are separate and then you have to worry about making sure everyone gets their hair and make up finished in time. WPI schedules and plans HMU based on how many people are in your wedding to make sure there are no problems. Amanda did my HMU as the bride and she was amazing! I plan to use her in the future for any other events that I have that I may need HMU for. WPI Beauty was amazing on my wedding day. Not only did they make me and my loved ones look and feel beautiful, but they were incredibly flexible to the unexpected hurdles. Our makeup artist, Alma, was so attentive to my needs and helped me with touch-ups after the ceremony - because there were a lot of happy tears! Our hairstylists, Keely and Kathleen, also went above and beyond. Keely took on an unexpected task of helping me into my headpiece for the ceremony. Kathleen also helped with an unexpected task of fixing up the groom's hair after the ceremony, which got a bit undone when he changed from ceremony attire to reception attire. Overall, not only did these ladies do an incredible job, but they made us all feel taken care of and special on such an important day. -

We hired WPI for my makeup for our engagement photos in September and for hair and makeup for our wedding (including a trial in February) on 4/25/25 at Edward Anne Estate. Amanda was the artist I worked with and I can’t say enough great things about her! Working with her for our engagement photos and my wedding HMU trial, she took the time to ask detailed questions and fully understand what I wanted/the look I was going for. She was great at communicating and providing a safe space for me to give feedback on what I liked/didn’t like, took detailed notes and photos, and made sure I loved the final result. On the day of my wedding, she was such a calming presence and helped me through the roller coaster of emotions you have as you’re getting ready for your wedding. She made me feel comfortable, listened to feedback, and made sure I was completely happy with my final look. We just got our photos back and I am obsessed with how my hair and makeup turned out and how it lasted all day! I can’t recommend Amanda enough for her skills but also her as a person! The rest of the team did an amazing job the day of, my bridesmaids and mothers all looked beautiful, they were on time, and professional, and made the morning run smoothly! WPI was great to work with from start to finish and I would highly recommend them to any future brides! -

Everything you need for wedding day beauty and ease!
WarPaint is the way to go for all things beauty with your wedding! I really did not know where to start with hair and makeup for my wedding, but Jessica was so wonderful and kind and made me feel at ease. She is so incredibly easy to work with, and would send out reminders when it was time to lock in bridesmaids, or get final payments. She coordinated everything so it went smoothly from the trial to the day. Paulina was my stylist, and she was the sweetest addition to our getting ready time! It was incredibly special to see how kind she was to my mother, and made her feel so beautiful on my day. She was very professional, and made us all feel perfect. You Need WarPaint!
Keely at WarPaint truly did so much more for me than just my hair and makeup for my wedding! Before I found WarPaint I had 2 absolutely terrible trials with different artists. My second trial left me completely devastated with damaged skin and hair and terrified of getting my hair or makeup done ever again. I was ready to give up completely when I had my consultation over the phone with Mariah at WarPaint. She listened to everything I had gone through and reassured me that she had an amazing artist that would help me feel beautiful again! Then she sent me links to Keely’s work, this is when my mind was instantly blown! We were getting married at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival Fair and to my surprise Keely was the artist who did the hair and makeup for the festivals wedding website!!! I was so excited I booked Keely that night! I had no way of knowing that I had already been dreaming of her work and fawning over it everyday day for 2 years! When I finally met Keely she was such an amazing individual, so sweet and uplifting. Not only did I love every minute spent with her, she restored all the joy and excitement I had lost! I am so grateful and honored to have had my hair and makeup done by Keely! She single handedly transformed me into the princess I was dreaming of feeling and looking like on my wedding day! Even weeks later and I still have people coming up to me and reaching out just to rave about how beautiful I looked and how amazing my hair and makeup turned out!! This is the second time I have worked with WPI and Mia Pietruszewski was a great operations manager that helped coordinate my day and schedule. I did not have to worry about anything from their side, I was confident in their service which helped with the wedding day stress. I had Amanda Jean as my hair and makeup artist and she is SO SO SO great to work with. She was very personable and hilarious, there wasn't any awkward silence with her, the chatting kept on going. WarPaint International – Twin Cities location was amazing to work with and have as my onsite wedding day makeup artist. I had Amanda do my bridal makeup and I absolutely loved it! I really enjoyed working with her and she is by far the best makeup artist I have ever had. She had a great vision and I'm so happy with how my makeup turned out for the trial and wedding day. I couldn't believe it was even better on the wedding day! My friends also loved working with her. One of my bridesmaids was nervous about getting her makeup done but she put her at ease and all the girls loved how the makeup turned out. We started the day doing a morning yoga class with Mariah. It was such a perfect and relaxing way to start the day with me and my bridesmaids. WarPaint was great! Amanda did my hair & makeup and it turned out so beautiful day of. I wanted something more on the natural side but that would still show in pictures and she truly accomplished that. Not only was it beautiful, but it did not budge. I cried several times throughout the event and it looked just as perfect when we got back to our hotel as it did the moment I got to the venue. I got several compliments from guests.
Katie & Heidi helped with hair & makeup for my family day of as well and they all looked beautiful. Each one of them was happy with their looks and they can be a picky bunch.
Lastly, Mariah was great with coordinating and answering all of my questions.
I would definitely use WarPaint again!

I booked Warpaint for bridal make up and bridesmaid makeup about a week after we decided to postpone our wedding to 2021. I was super bummed about the postponement and actually not planning on having professional makeup for my 2020 wedding. When I reached out to Warpaint in April 2020, I got excited again after a super stressful couple of months not knowing the effects of COVID. First off, Jessica was extremely responsive. We set up a phone call within 24 hours. On that first call, we discussed my vision and even set a 2021 trial date! When my bridal make up trial date finally came around in June 2021, the process was SO smooth and FUN! I had Mia as my trial and day-of artisan (you are amazing, Mia!!!). She came to my house for the trial so I was nice and comfortable! My mom even sat in on the trial too! We FINALLY got married July 17, 2021, and I couldn’t be happier with my over year-long experience with Warpaint. On wedding day, Mia glammed me up! I wanted something a bit more over the top with make up compared to what I normally do. She NAILED IT - the airbrush, lashes, dark lip, flashy eyes, all the things were PERFECT!! I felt so beautiful. My mom and a few bridesmaids also had their makeup done by Mia. They looked flawless and their make up lasted the very warm day full of sunshine and hardcore dancing.
I recommend Warpaint International for make up (I did not use their hair services, but they look fabulous as well!) without hesitation. I have several friends who are now in the wedding planning process, and I will continue to pass their name on and tell them about my experience. In addition to providing an extremely high quality service during the trial and wedding day, their communication was impressive!! Anyone planning a wedding knows that communications with vendors can make or break your experience. Warpaint always replied within 24 hours (usually within the hour!) and made me feel so so special on my big day. Seriously...Look no further! These are your wedding day artisans to make you feel the most beautiful you have ever felt in your life -

If you're looking for the best, look no further than WarPaint! From the ease of booking to the beautiful looks they create, Jessica and her team are truly the best. Jessica, Wendy, Torie and Kathleen did hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids. I loved getting to know Jessica and Wendy during the process! Jessica found the PERFECT lip color from a local vendor, and Wendy seriously a veil expert! Mariah helped us with booking and schedules, which could not have been any easier! Amazing work

The Perfect Decision
Due to Covid-19, I ended up postponing my large wedding and just having a ceremony with my immediate family. At first, I considered not getting my makeup done but I'm so happy I changed my mind. Katie did a terrific job and I truly loved my makeup! I felt like myself but also like a beautiful done up bride that I've always envisioned looking and feeling like on my special day. It also felt so great to be pampered and I feel like my pictures turned out better with professional makeup. I really appreciated the communication from the WarPaint team. Overall a wonderful experience! -

My experience with WPI was absolutely phenomenal. I was lucky enough to have Lori and Mia as my hair and makeup artists for myself and my bridesmaids. Not only did they do amazing work, but they were so fun and flexible and even added in my junior bridesmaid on the day of. I could not be happier with my experience with WPI! My bridal party and I were lucky enough to work with Keely (hair and makeup artists) and Kathleen (hair stylist) on my wedding day. They made sure we were always on time and were open to looking at our inspiration photos while suggesting what they thought was best. I felt so confident on my wedding day because my trial with Keely went perfectly. We were a little nervous about how COVID restrictions would affect our hair and makeup process, but we felt completely safe with WPI and it all worked out great. I would absolutely recommend WPI and their team because of our experience with them! -

I first heard of WarPaint when they did makeup for a friend's wedding. They did a beautiful job and were very professional, so I decided to use them for my wedding as well! They were super accommodating in helping me set up my trial appointment and rescheduling it for me when I had to change it a few times. My makeup artist Claire was amazing! She was so friendly and figured out how I wanted my makeup, even with very little direction from me. Then on my wedding day I wanted to do my makeup a little more dramatic than what we had practiced at the trial, and she was able to do that without hesitation. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day and I would highly recommend WarPaint and in particular, Claire for any makeup needs you may have! -

Mariah is a gem and nothing short of AMAZING to work with! ✨
Her passion and expertise shined through starting on our initial hair/makeup phone consultant and carried through my entire wedding journey (e.g., engagement photoshoot, pre-wedding trial run, wedding day). 👰
She was always on top of her game in terms of professionalism, punctuality, responsiveness and flexibility. She traveled to meet me not only at my living residence but also made several trips to my wedding venue, Bavaria Downs (Chaska, MN). 🏰
If you’re like me and have lots of inspo photos but aren’t exactly sure the “official” look you are going for, Mariah is your girl. She has oodles of experience and helped me create a perfect look in the hair/makeup department but also messaged back and forth re: her POV on other style elements (e.g., shoes, sash, jewelry). 😊
I would highly recommend Mariah – she’s incredibly talents and worth every penny! 🤍

I found WarPaint through a recommendation from a friend and I’m so glad I did! They have been responsive, flexible and understanding throughout the changes that have come with planning a wedding during COVID-19. I had to move my large wedding/reception to 2021 but decided to still do a small ceremony this year with family. WPI was able to work with me to make me feel beautiful this year and next! I worked with Wendy and Laura and they both helped me feel safe, listened to, and ultimately like a bride on what was a very different wedding day than I initially envisioned. Thank you WPI! Wonderful!
I hired WarPaint for my wedding on 4/20/24 and loved them! I live in the city, however my wedding was in the suburbs, so I really appreciated that they do the trial for wedding hair and makeup at your home. It made the logistics of getting ready much easier too. I was able to tell them the hotel we were getting ready at in the suburbs and they were able to travel there.
I had Jennifer do my hair and makeup on my wedding and she was wonderful! She also did all the bridesmaids makeup which turned out great. Not too cakey or that clown makeup that you see a lot for weddings, and our makeup stayed on on all night. The other stylist who did the bridesmaid's hair also did a great job! All the curls held up through the night.
I initially had my hair done one way at the trial, which was a half up half down, then changed my mind and wanted a braided look on the wedding day, then changed my hair again back to a braided half up/half down. Jennifer was very accommodating with me and it ended up looking beautiful! My makeup also turned out great, it wasn't too heavy and it stayed on all night.
Both ladies were very professional and friendly, and I'm very happy I booked WarPaint! Highly recommend using this company!Warpaint International Beauty Agency's reply:

WarPaint International was great to work with for my wedding hair and make-up! Amanda Jean and Laura B were highly professional, relatable, and overall lowkey. They understood and excellently executed all the make-up styles/best hairstyles that my bridesmaids and I had done. They were also great with going with the flow as my Trial hair didn't go as I had pictured and came up with an even better solution. When looking for a H&M artist, we also wanted to find a professional who had experience with all varieties of hair, skin tones, skin textures, and make-up preferences, and Amanda Jean did an absolutely amazing job of ensuring all of us looked great and stayed true to what we asked for. The entire morning went smoothly and the team was efficient and actually finished 6 people's make-up/hair in under 4 1/2 hours. Taara Sent on 08/19/2018Mia with Warpaint International is an AMAZING and incredibly TALENTED makeup artist. She created the perfect look for my wedding day and I couldn’t have been happier! On top of her skill, she was super personable, professional and the perfect addition to the wedding day “team.” I wanted attention to my eyes and they looked just as good - if not better - than all the pictures I showed for “the vision” and idea I had in my head ;)
Also important to note, between me and my bridal party, we had every shade of skin tone on the color palette - and Mia and her partner Nadeem were able to make us all look and feel gorgeous for the big day!
I think their pricing was very reasonable and coming to the hotel as we got ready fully prepared with lights and chairs was so very appreciated!
The only “negative” - and not really that much of a negative, more so of a minor annoyance - was the disconnect between the administrative side of the process. It was at times disjointed or delayed in confirming logistics and billing. But again, it all worked out in time without significant stress, so didn’t and wouldn’t worry about that piece too much.
