Strongly recommend Ward Photography for your event! Jason photographed our wedding, and did an amazing job! He did a great job of capturing each special moment and everyone at the event. The photos are excellent quality, very bright, crisp, and colorful. We had ~100 people at our event, and paid for a second photographer, which was totally worth it! Couldn't recommend this service more!

Amazing! Book them!

Choosing a photographer was probably the most important decision to me while planning our wedding. The photos are one of the only things we will keep forever, and let me tell you, we are so happy we chose Ward Photography to capture our special day. They know what they are doing and it shows through their work. They posted many sneak peak photos the next day, like literally 12 hours after our wedding! We received all of our photos sooner than we expected and they are seriously all so beautiful. Incredible in every way!!! Book these guys!!

Jason and Wendy did an AMAZING job shooting our wedding at Mount Ida Event Barn this September. We found Jason and Wendy through Mount Ida's preferred vendors list and chose them because of the amazing color and quality of their photos. They were easy to work with from start to finish and were flexible when it came to changing things up because of COVID. We did an engagement shoot with them first and had a great time. The turn around time for the photos was impressively fast and the photos came out incredible so we were stoked for the wedding to come. They truly did not disappoint and I'm still in awe of these photos from our wedding day. Having two photographers to capture the day was a huge perk because one would take wide shots while the other focused on details and expressions at the same time. It was invaluable to have them both. Jason and Wendy, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. We will cherish these photos forever. We can't wait to work with you again for the reception next year!!

Simply the best.

Jason and Wendy were the perfect wedding photographers! I could seriously rave about them forever. I was first referred to them from the staff at the venue we chose, and I'm so glad! They were always so prompt in their responses, they were always positive and enthusiastic, they never pressured us for anything, and they were very respectful of all/any of our wishes regarding getting married during a pandemic. Our photos from our wedding day will be the perfect keepsake for the rest of our lives. I'm so happy with the quality and composition! They were able to get shots of all our little details, and really did a good job of capturing the love of the day. We had to change up so much about our wedding to keep it safe for our limited amount of guests, and they stuck with us through it all.
I would recommend them to anyone!

All around wonderful

Ward Photography was absolutely amazing to work with! We could not have chose a better duo to shoot our wedding. From the beginning, they were so helpful and answered all of the questions we could come up with. We ended up booking Ward Photography for our wedding day as well as an engagement shoot and a bridal shoot. During each session, Wendy and Jason worked with us to choose appropriate poses and locations around our venue to maximize the quality of our photos. Overall, the experience with Ward Photography was top notch, and we cannot recommend them enough!

Mt. Ida fusion wedding!

Jason and Wendy were prompt, timely, intuitive, experienced, and flexible! Anything we needed to get a photo of, they were on top of it! The entire process from contract to day-of was excellent service and absolutely catered to everything we wanted/needed. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone! Awesome service and quality

I was thrilled when Jason and Wendy were available for our elopement on February 25, 2019. They worked our lax plan, short ceremony and cold, unpredictable weather of February in Virginia. We had our previews quickly so we could announce our surprise! The finished photos are perfect. Having two photographers allows for two points of view and makes a difference. I recommend them for not only the quality but the professionalism and easy communication.

A Passion for Photography

Ward Photography photographed our wedding on October 20th, 2018 at the Natural Bridge in Virginia. We first met Jason Ward when he did our engagement photos earlier that year. Jason was a super cool guy who we felt was very passionate about his work and did a great job with the engagement session. On the day of our wedding, both Jason and Wendy came ready to work! Despite it being her birthday, Wendy and Jason were there to capture all of the beautiful moments from that special day. From getting some really cute pictures of our nieces walking down the aisle to getting some AWESOME pictures of us with the bridal party with the Natural Bridge in the background, Jason and Wendy truly captured our day. The Wards really care about their work and it shows!

Wonderful photos

We loved working with Ward Photography for our wedding day. Although an unexpected conflict arose and Wendy could not make our wedding day, they promptly found a great second shooter for our day. Jason was so easy to work with and set up some great shots for both our engagement photos and wedding day photos. We also liked their photo editing style. Jason and Wendy Ward run an amazing business!! My husband and I were planning our wedding from afar and Jason and Wendy were so flexible in helping us! They worked with us to find dates for an engagement shoot that would match another time we were in town visiting. They were quick to respond via email when we had questions about pictures and editing and timelines. They got all our pictures to us so quickly and they are beautifully done! They do amazing work and we are so glad we chose them for our magical day! They are very professional! There were multiple times on wedding day where they checked in with us to make sure they were getting pictures we had wanted but at the same time we didn't notice them taking the pictures or capturing the moments every bride and groom want! My fiancé and I had an engagement session with Ward Photography and were more than thrilled with the results! Although I was slow with the planning and emailing, they always promptly responded and fit us right into their schedule at the location of our choosing. They showed up prepared and on time and treated us so well – Wendy even carried my purse for me as we wandered Carter Mountain for pictures! Jason and Wendy worked wonderfully as a team, taking turns photographing and instructing us or even shooting different angles simultaneously. We also received our sneak peeks and edited photos much sooner than I have in the past from other photographers (which was amazing considering how impatient and excited we were to see them)! We highly recommend them for photographing anyone's big moments!!

Ward Photography is above and beyond the best choice for your wedding photos. Jason and Wendy showed a true passion and talent for their craft, capturing all the best moments from both our engagement photos and our wedding day.

They were quick to respond to emails and questions, very forthcoming with any information, and met with us on multiple occasions to scout out locations and shots we wanted. They were also exceedingly flexible with timelines, especially after our wedding ceremony was delayed over an hour due to rain.

10/10 could not be more pleased with their work, courtesy, and professionalism, and we now have wonderful wedding photographs we can look back on fondly for the rest of our lives.

Jason and Wendy did a fantastic job as our wedding photographers, and were so much fun to work with. It was important to us to have more than one photographer in order to capture multiple angles of the important moments and to capture twice as much on the big day. We got that with Jason and Wendy plus so much more! Jason and Wendy were able to divide and conquer as the groomsmen and bridal party got ready in separate locations, allowing every minute of our day to be captured. With a fall evening wedding, we had limited daylight to work with, and Jason and Wendy kept everyone in line so that we got all of the photos we wanted. The photos themselves were amazing, capturing the natural beauty of the day perfectly!

I had Ward Photography for my engagement, rehearsal dinner, AND wedding photos and I couldn't be happier! Wendy and Jason made us feel so comfortable and always directed us since we obviously didn't know what to do while being photographed. On the wedding day, they came to the house we were staying at and immediately went to work, working perfectly in sync and efficiently while tag teaming. While our wedding was in the winter and out of season, in just 9(!) days, they sent us our rehearsal dinner and wedding photos, over 1,000 and edited. We hadn't even gotten back from our honeymoon yet! Throughout the whole process, Jason and Wendy were so professional, efficient, and made everything so relaxing and fun. We LOVED working with Jason and Wendy. They were fun, easy-going, and professional, both for our engagement photos and on our wedding day. They worked to get the best pictures and were open to our spur of the moment group photos that popped up over the course of the day. My husband and I decided to book Ward photography after we saw them at a friend's wedding. We were not disappointed! On our wedding day they worked with us to make my dream of an outdoor "first look" happen despite bad weather. During a break in the clouds they helped us coordinate to ensure everything went smoothly for our first look and wedding party photos. They also managed to capture pictures of our families, all the guests and small decorative details which was great to look back on. Not only was the experience on the day of amazing but they sent a personalized wooden box containing 50 printed photos and a wooden engraved USB drive with all our pictures. I highly recommend them!

Amazing! Jason and Wendy are a powerful duo. From the first initial interview call, I felt like they really cared about what we wanted for our wedding. I had a boudoir session as a present for my husband and I couldn't have imagined a better result, he loved it. They made me feel completely comfortable and made sure the pictures were what I wanted. Now, the wedding pictures - they are my dream. It helped that the location was beautiful, but they made sure to get every angle they could, all of the special moments, and all of the guests. I am constantly looking at our pictures and it has been over 4 months since the wedding. We are VERY pleased that Ward Photography captured all of our wedding moments in February 2017. Jason did not just take photos, he created memorable photo ops! After seeing his phenomenal work, we trusted Jason’s keen eye. Rather than telling him what we wanted for photos, we asked him to do what he felt was best as he would have to deal with lighting, sun, nature and various elements. We were free to just enjoy our wedding. That was the right thing to do as he placed us in various settings to capture all elements of the area and unbelievable weather. We couldn't be more pleased with the service we received from Ward Photography at our wedding last August. We interviewed 3 photographers and what we loved about Ward Photography, besides their beautiful portfolio, was that the two photographers were husband & wife--which means, on the day they know exactly the shots the other is getting and work seamlessly together to capture every aspect of the wedding. We found them well-priced, and they delivered high quality work both for the wedding and the complementary engagement photo sessions. They worked throughout the event without being intrusive. We found them generous with their time and they did great to capture good photos despite much of our pre-wedding outdoor photo shoot being rained out. They communicated well by email before the wedding and also at the event and treated our wedding guests great! Wendy and Jason did my engagement photos, bridal session, wedding photos and some family photos. Their work is amazing. They did such a great job on the photos and I got them back a lot quicker than anticipated. They were very accommodating and worked with us on all of our shoots. My husband and I have 7 children together and attempting at getting the family photos was very chaotic to say the least. But they were so patient and understanding and worked with us and our children in order to get the shots, which miraculously turned out great. My bridal shoot was so much fun with these two. They made it so much more than just taking pictures and they had a lot of creative ideas. Then on my wedding day they came all the way out in the rain ready to go. It held up some so we were able to get some amazing shots outside but the wedding itself had to be inside and considering the difference in atmosphere they still did a great job and were able to work with me and help me get a lot of the photos I wanted considering the rain. I will recommend them to anyone who asks for good photos. They were so easy to work with and were very flexible in order to meet my needs. I absolutely loved them!

I cannot recommend Ward Photography enough. My wedding was last week, and the pictures that I have already seen on facebook and instagram from that day are beautiful. Jason and Wendy ran the day with grace and professionalism, they got all of the shots we wanted, and they gave us some much needed structure to the day. They also did our engagement pictures, which were so well done. They are quick to get your pictures back to you, too. They usually post a few of them to their social media accounts within 24 hours, and we got all of our engagement pictures back in about a week. We haven't gotten our wedding pictures back yet, but they said we could expect them within a couple of weeks from the wedding and I am so excited to see them. I know they will be everything we hoped for.

Ward Photography was amazing right from the start. We are from out of state wedding and Ward photography made all the planning so easy. On the day of the wedding Jason was amazing ! Each important moment was captured beautifully. As if it could not get any better he was so wonderful with our three young girls! He made sure each of them was looking his way during each photo and our two year old just loved him. In all the craziness of our many family pictures he made sure we didn't forget to take time for ourselves to be sure there was plenty of bride and groom photos. We highly recommend using Ward Photography ! We will certainly be using them again on our next trip to VA.

Ward Photography is seriously one of the best photographers I have ever had or seen. They work so well with you with whatever you need. They were able to actually take pictures of every guest that was at our wedding and took some really awesome pictures of the guests dancing. The pictures are absolutely beautiful. They also make you feel very comfortable while they are taking your pictures and are so easy to work with. They respond back quickly and we had our wedding pictures on a thumb drive within two weeks! Jason and Wendy have shot 3 (I think) other weddings associated with my husband's family. As my new Mother in Law says - they are hitting the "easy" button. They were prompt, professional, and most importantly, fun to spend a HUGE chunk of time with on a crazy day. I am still blown away by the pictures they took. The room where we danced after dinner, was pretty dark - but looking at the pictures, it looked like it was a professionally lit room. I seriously do not understand how they worked their magic.
Most importantly - I HATE having my picture taken. I have been known to flee when someone pulls out their phone for pictures. Jason and Wendy made me feel at ease, and didn't take TOO many pictures. Best of all, when they thought extra pictures were needed, they explained why. I have already recommended them to another couple - and I can't recommend them enough - they are just a wonderful team that helped capture the spirit of our day. Finally, I still don't know how they managed to capture a picture of my Aunt dancing with my Grandfather (her father) and you can see the tear falling down her cheek. Just beautiful.

Jason and Wendy are excellant photographers. Our venue recommended them through a list of other photographers in the Lexington/Roanoke/Buena Vista area of Virginia. Upon researching other photographers, Ward photography answered every question. I researched their past wedding photos and realized Ward photography was incredibly talented. Financially speaking, they are extremely worth it. You basically get 2 for the price of 1 with these completely talented photographers. Their wedding packages are very financially reasonable and worth it. They are willing to make payment arrangements with you as well. When it came to our actual wedding day, one went with the Groomsmen and one came with us in the bridal suite. They were extremely patient with all the different poses we requested. Ward photography arrived early for set up and started right at the contract specified time. They were even willingly to photograph our rehearsal dinner if we wanted to. After our wedding, they immediately posted a few pictures to their Facebook page in I believe a 48 hour turnaround. Having an outside wedding meant we had lots of spectators and Ward photography took the time to photoshop out as many of them as possible. The turnaround time to get our wedding pictures was extremely reasonable. In their contract, they tell you how long it will take and their prices for individual photos, so there's no hidden rates. They are also willing to work with you after the wedding to create one of their beautiful photobooks.

Overall we are extremely satisifed with our pictures. No joke, every single person we have shown them to has said they are some of the best pictures anyone has ever seen. The only thing I will suggest is they limit how many weddings they due per year. So, if you want to use them, please contact them immediately and do not wait, or you may regret it.

We are beyond thrilled with the quality of photos, service, and communication we received from Jason and Wendy at Ward Photography! Over the past year they have been wonderful! They captured our engagement photos, bridal shots, rehearsal dinner, and wedding and never did we once encounter a problem. These photographers will go above and beyond to capture each moment with their artist eye, and will try to replicate any idea that you find on Pinterest if it is your heart’s desire. Jason held a bubble machine while Wendy shot some of our engagement shoots (even though he was technically not working that day), Wendy climbed a 10 foot ladder to capture a group photo of all of our wedding guests (140 people), not to mention they both spent about 15 minutes trying to capture the perfect sparkler picture that I had envisioned. The qualities of their photos are wonderful! One of my favorite features that Ward Photography provides, are all of their sneak peaks! Other photographers make you wait months before you can see your photos, but Jason and Wendy will provide a sneak peak of your photo shoot on their Facebook page within a few days (if not the day of) and a much larger sneak peek on their blog a few weeks later! We are counting down the days to see our wedding photos, but having the ability to send the link to their blog to all of our friends and family is wonderful feature, and will put us at bay until we see the full album! Do yourself a favor and hire these photographers! They were my niece's photographer and did a wonderful job so we chose them as well. As mother of the bride I can say the Wards are professional and manage to be everywhere during the wedding without you even realizing they are there. They were careful to take all the photos on our "list" of must haves but found photos we absolutely loved and didn't know we wanted. I think they also captured every guest. I can not say enough about them and have already recommended them to a friend.

Wendy and Jason were so much fun to work with! They were professional, easy going, relaxed, and really helped our entire bridal party enjoy the whole day. We chose to do a first look, and both of us agree that it was the best thing we could have done...it was a moment we had just to ourselves, and Jason and Wendy captured it perfectly. Jason and Wendy were fantastic to work with! We had an especially scenic venue with a lot of spots for photographs and wanted to meet before our wedding day to show them around. Planning a meeting was easy and stress free. They made us feel comfortable and even more excited about our big day.

On our wedding day, the Wards showed up on time and prepared. I LOVED having two photographers so Jason could be with the guys and Wendy could be with the girls while we were getting ready. After the ceremony, Jason LITERALLY climbed a tree to be able to get the group photo we requested! Wendy was able to go ahead to the reception to continue photographing our guests while Jason stayed with us so we could take more photos of just the two of us. There was no down time (thankfully!) because they were sure to use every available minute to get as many photos as possible.

The day went by so quickly! We are only a few short weeks from our wedding day and we are already struggling to remember some of the details, which is why having good photographers is so important. We now have close to 900 pictures to look back on and share with our family and friends! Some of our favorite photos were from the photo booth- if you're thinking about doing it, we highly recommend it!

With heartfelt sincerity, I recommend Ward Photography for any bride and groom. My husband and I, in addition to our families, are so pleased with our wedding photos – keepsakes that we’ll treasure for a lifetime. Jason and Wendy were wonderful to work with. From the portrait-style photos to the candid moments, they captured the joy of our wedding day. I was initially drawn to Ward Photography for their classic, clean style of photographs, and I was extremely pleased with the quality and number of photos we were returned.

I also had my bridal portraits taken by Jason a few weeks before the wedding. I'd highly recommend a bridal session to any bride – it provided a time to finalize hair and makeup choices and made me feel more confident on my wedding day. Jason spent several hours taking portraits and was willing to visit two locations – a luxury not possible on the wedding day.

Wendy and Jason Ward are amazing at what they do and are wonderful people. We chose the 8 hour package but now looking back we wish we would have done the unlimited for the extra cost. We had some pictures we forgot about but that was our fault so I would make a list of the specific pictures you want before time because you really get caught up in the moment. We felt like the Ward's were family by the end of our engagement pictures and the wedding was just the same. They could tell as the bride I was getting frustrated with the joking around bridal party so they immediately jumped in were extremely professional and got it done. I cannot say enough about them and have only seen 2 wedding photos. We cannot wait to book them again for life's other wonderful and beautiful moments.

We received a blog of amazing photos that we could look at within 4 days of the wedding which was such a surprise at how fast that was available. Wendy and Jason are excellent photographers. I'm so delighted with the quality of their work, professionalism, and friendliness. Jason and Wendy were fantastic to work with! They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera during our engagement session and worked with us to get some creative shots throughout the afternoon. Jason spent way more time with us during the engagement session than I expected and pitched great ideas about photo options, brainstorming off of our own ideas. He seemed to get inspiration from his surroundings and suggested that we drive to our wedding location (a few miles away from the engagement shoot location) to snap a few more photos to take advantage of the light. I was floored to discover that when he met us for the engagement session he had just gotten back from a family vacation that afternoon. Instead of relaxing at home after a long car ride, he met us for the afternoon. He is truly dedicated to his work and I do not think we could have gotten better engagement photos if we had chosen a different photographer!

The duo showed the same enthusiasm and passion at our wedding. They were genuinely excited to work with us and celebrate our day (Looking at feedback they receive from other brides I get the sense they had a similar experience with J&W, a testament to how much they truly enjoy their work). We had some specific photo requests which the team were happy to accommodate, but for the most part we let J&W call the shots on what photos to take throughout the day--at some points during the reception I even forgot that they were there! However, when I received the photos back from them I discovered that they had captured so much of our wedding, event aspects that I didn't realize were happening! I could not be happier with our photos and the opportunity we had to work with Jason and Wendy. I would recommend them to any Bride, without reservation.

Jason and Wendy from Ward Photography were wonderful to work with! Not only did they provide my husband and I with beautiful pictures from our wedding day, but they captured every moment of the day with a wide variety of both formal and candid pictures! By having two photographers, Jason and Wendy were able to get pictures of my husband and I every step of the day in addition to great pictures of the guests. Jason and Wendy were very personable, helping my husband and I to feel at ease during the formal
pictures. They were also easy to interact with yet unobtrusive in the midst of the ceremony and reception. I could not have been happier with my experience working with Ward Photography and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality photographer!

I cannot say enough good things about Wendy and Jason. From the first conversation that I had with Jason, I knew they were going to be a perfect fit to work with on our special day. I loved that as a husband and wife duo, Wendy will usually shoot with the girls most of the day and Jason goes with the guys. This made both my groom and I very comfortable. I truly believe that choosing a wedding photographer isn't just about how well they can take and edit photos. They weren't able to just take beautiful, quality photos of our bridal party and guests; they were able to capture my husband’s unforgettable reaction during our first look, the pure, unexpected emotion as I walked down the aisle and the depth of my best friend and I's friendship throughout the day. Those are moments that I couldn't have remembered or seen without Jason and Wendy's amazing work. They were champs during my 4+ hour bridal portraits session during the middle of July, in a non-air conditioned shoot location. They were honest with me when they didn't think something would work and I'm so glad I trusted them. I remember Wendy suggesting what felt like the most awkward pose ever and thinking I hope this doesn't looks at weird as it feels. It turned out to be my and my family's favorite photo. It's so exciting when they post a few sneak peek photos within hours of your event. I was literally jumping up and down on our honeymoon looking at the blog highlights they had put together - they did a fantastic job. I've heard of some photographers taking 6+ months to get you any photos. Not with Ward. Their turnaround time was great. They gave us everything we could have expected and more. My husband and I are already thinking of when we can work with them next for family photos and beyond. I highly recommend working with Ward Photography because Wendy and Jason are some of the sweetest and genuine people you will ever meet. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

Ward was incredible! \r\nI definitely recommend doing an engagement session with them before your wedding so you can get comfortable in front of the camera. They just take incredible photos, and they are incredible people. \r\nUpon receiving our photos (over 1,000 from our day, all edited, with shared copyright so we can enjoy them however we\'d like!), we were just thrilled. Jason & Wendy of Ward Photography are incredibly professional, personable, and easy going. They take excellent pictures - from portraits to fine details to candid moments you never thought you would get to experience again. They help the picture process go smoothly, interact well with guests and family, and find a way to maneuver so that you hardly know they are there! They compliment one another so that you always have a wide range of styles, angles, and pictures to choose from in the end. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding photographer - not to mention engagement pictures, bridal portraits, and so on. My husband and I cannot say enough great things about Ward Photography. Out of all of our vendors, they were the most professional and the easiest to work with. Although it was a challenge to work with some interesting personalities at our wedding, Jason and Wendy made sure we enjoyed our time and handled each situation with ease. Our pictures are stunning and we cannot wait to see the rest of our images. Ward Photography is top notch and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone for their big day! Ward Photography was a life saver for our big day! We were running behind because of makeup, they were professional, efficient, and, even amidst the opinions of everyone surrounding us, made sure what WE wanted was honored. The Wards diffused our emotions over some of our other vendors and made sure we enjoyed our moments and captured them beautifully! Our photos were outstanding! Choosing Ward Photography for our wedding was by far THE BEST choice we made. We are extremely happy with everything- from responsiveness to emails all the way to them capturing amazing candid moments. They have a great eye for a beautiful shot, and are extremely flexible with any requests.

They are amazing! I did bridal portraits and wedding pictures with ward and I love them all. I didn't know what to expect with bridal portraits and they made sure to get a wide variety of poses to make sure they got every angle of my dress. Love them and their hard work. They also get pictures back to you in a very timely manner!

Jason and Wendy are a husband/wife team from Waynesboro, VA. They work together perfectly. They provided a fun, easy-going atmosphere during our wedding but weren't afraid to reign us all in when necessary. The photos we have seen so far are perfect, we have had complete strangers comments on how lovely they are. The best part is, they really jumped in the mix when the party got started and captured the moments that went by in a blurr. (I think they even stayed late because they were having so much fun). I would definitely reccomend them to anyone in the area. Fair price, great product!

Wendy and Jason are fantastic! They are a husband and wife team that take pictures. Our pictures our amazing! I have gotten so many compliments on the pictures. Love the little add-ons too like the guest book and photo booth.

My husband and I absolutely loved working with Jason and Wendy Ward. They are not only very talented photographers, but make photo sessions fun and relaxing. The Wards did both our engagement photos and wedding photos and they turned out beautifully! The Wards were very flexible and extremely responsive via phone and email. They set up a fantastic photo booth, with props, at our wedding, and my husband and I really enjoy looking at the funny pictures of our guests. I was impressed with how Wendy and Jason seemed to be able to be everywhere, catching all the important moments during the wedding and reception. I've been to other weddings where the photographer is blatantly obvious and annoyingly in your face, and in your personal space with a blinding flash to escalate your irritation. Wendy and Jason were like stealthy snipers of the photography world - able to "shoot" their target without being seen. Somehow, they were also able to run the photo booth AND be out taking pictures of people dancing and partying - how do they do it? Another aspect of their service that I truly like, is that they give all rights to the photos to their customers and provide ALL of the photos on a CD. This made Ward Photography really stand out to me, since other photographers were difficult to work with when it comes to getting all of your photos with the freedom to do with them as you please. Finally, the value of work for the price is incomparable - I don't think you can find better! Wendy and Jason did an awesome job with the photo coverage of my daughter's wedding. They happily accommodated all of our photo requests and their candid shots captured all the emotions of the day. The prices were very reasonable, the first photos were on their blog the very next day and they looked amazing and now to scroll through the full gallery is a joy. They have a true eagerness to please and a passion for artistic photography. We now have photographs of the utmost quality that will provide us with beautiful memories for many years to come! Jason and Wendy were the absolute best duo to have on our wedding team as photographers. They were very organized on the wedding day and all the photos went seamlessly. They captured all the joy and wonderful emotions of us and our friends and family through all the chaos! Even though my husband was in a serious car accident a few days before the wedding and a lot of our activities and plans for the day had to modified, we can only see the smiles, love and good memories in the pictures. Getting our pictures back from Ward Photography was so very quick and accessible; the only trouble is picking out our favorites!

Jason and Wendy Ward are fantastic! They were great with communication! We had a great initial consultation. Their beautiful work speaks for itself though. They were very professional the day of the wedding and did a great job keeping everyone quick and organized when getting through the formal pictures. They even offer cash discounts. I was shocked at how fast they had our photos available for us to view! They also had a computer monitor set up during the reception that they displayed a slideshow of photos from the ceremony, our guests absolutely loved that! The week before the wedding they even sent us a sweet card with a Starbucks card in it for us to have a mini date to escape the wedding stress. They were also great and flexible about adding on Engagement Photos when we had initially not included them on our contract. Highly highly recommend Ward Photography!!

Two professional photographers for the price of one, how much better can it get? The Wards were friendly and great to work with and the photos look amazing. The bonus of having two photographers is that you get more flexibility on your wedding day in terms of scheduling, as Jason was able to take groomsmen photos while Wendy stayed with the bridal party to photograph. We had a great time with Jason and Wendy, and for the level of professionalism and the quality of photos they provide, the price cannot be beat. Photography was very important to me as part of the wedding day, and I wanted artistic, high quality pictures to remember our wedding, and I feel that I got exactly what I was looking for with Ward Photography.

Jason and Wendy Ward provide professional photography and editing of lifetime events. They covered our engagement session and wedding and did a fantastic job! Wendy was very helpful during the engagement session making us comfortable in front of the camera and giving helpful hints for positioning our stance or hands. At the wedding, they were personable and fun, but kept a professional appearance as well. They were flexible in ideas for where to take photos and worked hard to get all the photos on my list taken. Coralling our familes for formal shots wasn't easy, so I thank them for their patience! Great job!

Both Jason and Wendy have an exceptional photography eye and were very flexible in giving us what we wanted. Initial photos were posted online within a day, and an e-gallery was available within a few weeks - no small feat at holiday time! They are not the least expensive, but when it comes to wedding photography, you get what you pay for. We got quality! We highly recommend them for your event!

Love my photos! Highly Recommend the Wards

Wendy & Jason Ward did an excellent job capturing my wedding. They were recommend to me by my venue, Wintergreen Resort and responded promptly to my inquiry for additional information. I choose to do 8 hours and definitely got my moneys worth, they pair was extremely professional and captured all of the my big (and small) moments. They were even able to work in extremely sunny weather and had there own lighting apparatus to account for the glare etc.

Lovely Pictures

We hired Ward Photography to shot our December 2020 wedding which was just after a snow storm! We really appreciated their flexibility and willingness to work with us in less than ideal circumstances. They took our "shot list" very seriously and got us all the pictures we were hoping for. The pictures we got back from them are beautiful. We're scheduled to have them again in 2021 to shot our "Reception".
