  Minister Toya is absolutely amazing!! Toya is genuine and funny. She helped us along the way, she knew exactly what to say, and made us feel at ease. Very grateful for her support and kindness. If you’re looking for an officiant, Toya is wonderful!

  Just perfect …

  LaToya was amazing! We only booked 3 weeks before (from England) and had no idea what we had to do. LaToya guided us through the process and made it so easy and wonderful. Our actual ceremony was so so beautiful. She had really listened and it could not have been more perfect. We feel genuinely fortunate that we randomly found LaToya.

  Perfectly Captured Our Love Story

  Extraordinary from Start to Finish!

  We're a nontraditional couple that chose to have our destination micro-wedding (26 guests) in New Orleans, and we knew it would be vital to have an officiant that could match our laidback, but intimate energy. We were beyond lucky to find LaToya, and she was a perfect fit from start to finish.
  
  We knew from the first phone call that she was THE officiant for us! She got back to us very quickly after our initial inquiry, was transparent about her pricing, and provided us with templates that helped us consider what we wanted our ceremony to look/feel like.
  
  Our friend streamed and recorded our ceremony on Zoom for distant family to join virtually, and we realized that our ceremony was a total of 12 minutes long. It was 12 minutes of perfection for us, and afterwards SEVERAL of our guests told us they thought LaToya was fantastic. She had a major impact on both us and our guests in a short amount of time. She had all of us laughing, crying, and remaining present for our magical moment at the altar. With the mention of some of our sweetest memories around about how we met, what we enjoy, etc, LaToya created a space of ultimate joy.
  
  Prior to the wedding, we only met via Zoom because we chose not to have a wedding rehearsal, but LaToya showed up for us in the biggest way and brought our ceremony dreams to life. We are eternally grateful.

  I cannot do justice in describing our experience with LaToya of Waning Moon Weddings. We were attracted to her business by the photos on her website of her beautiful smile. We were not disappointed when we connected with her. She made us feel special every step of the way. On the practical side, she was efficient and professional. But on the more emotional side, she put us at ease and personalized our tiny elopement. We feel very fortunate to have had her as part of our wedding. We recommend her enthusiastically!

  Our Special Elopement

  LaToya is the pinnacle of professionalism. My now husband and I decided to elope in New Orleans, and when searching for an officiant I immediately found Waning Moon Weddings, and I just had a feeling! We had sessions for us to get to know her and get comfortable, as well as her getting to know us. The information she gathered would make it into our very personalized ceremony. She is attentive and sweet, and even helped us during our photo session (stopping cars and all!). I would 100% recommend her services!

  The best officiant!

  LaToya helped make our day so special! She was such a joy to work with throughout the whole process. Our first meeting with her was a wonderful experience, the script was so special and personal, and the rehearsal and ceremony could not have been better! She was such a big part of helping make our day and absolute dream. All of our guests/bridal party also commented on how amazing she was too!

  Halloween Wedding

  Everything was wonderful. We absolutely loved how personal LaToya's officiant speech was. I don't think we could have found a more perfect person for the job. Amazingly polite, patient, and friendly. We came in from out of town and she was in constant contact and made sure everyone was on the same page throughout the entire process.

  LaToya is an amazing officiant, a wonderful person, and will absolutely be there for you before, during, and after your big day. She took the time and care to really get to know both of us and put together a ceremony that included some of our favorite memories. We were a postponed wedding and LaToya checked in often and kept us updated all along the way. Her words left a lot of people in tears (us included).   Omg, I don't even know where to begin. Latoya is AMAZING. From day one and just following her on social media, I knew she was the one I wanted on my special day. Her energy is out of this world and she love to see others happy.The day of my ceremony I was running a little behind and I was devastated and when I saw her walking towards me (I swear I met a celebrity) but she made me feel at ease, she told me it happens and she just turned the worse moment in the world to the BEST. I would definitely recommend her. At the ceremony its like she knew me and my Wife our whole lives, when she does the consultation to get to know you she really listens and she uses it at the ceremony, so that makes it so much more special

She took the time to get to know us, we always could reach out to her with any questions we had and she killed it at our ceremony. My family and friends are still raving about her. She is professional with the most comfortable, warm spirit, and we are so thankful to have been blessed with her. From the very beginning through each step to the second we said “I do,” and even thereafter, she was so patient, respectful, very knowledgeable, and just had the best personality ever.   LaToya was an absolute joy to work with! She was with my and my spouse the entire process. She remained diligent and supportive even through the pandemic AND a hurricane! We highly recommend her and Waning Moon Weddings. LaToya will treat you both with respect and dignity. (We are LGBTQ).

She answered my desperate call and never looked back. My husband and I had many changes in our path to marriage. Our wedding spanned from CA to Destin Fl to our final destination and LaToya door steps. She has been our beginning to the end. We were wed on 10-10-20 and could have never thought it would have been as beautiful and fulling. Thank you is not enough. LaToya a true Jem in the ruff.....

  LaToya is amazing. Her personality and excitement made her so fun to work with when planning our ceremony. She’ll schedule check in calls with you along the day, hosted large calls with out of town people to share updates on COVID in NOLA and personalized our ceremony to perfectly fit who we are. We loved working with her and absolutely recommend her to anyone!
