We got married at Wahoo! a month ago now, and it was truly the wedding of our dreams. The package including food and drinks made things extremely easy for us, and the private garden and patio were exactly the vibe we were looking for. Pam and her team were fantastic at communicating leading up to, and especially so on the day of, the wedding. The best compliment we can give is that we had many bridal party members/guests tell us how much they loved Pam and how great of a job her team and the venue did. Book here now! -

There aren't enough words to describe our experience at Wahoo! - we were so grateful to have come across them. You might question having your wedding at a restaurant, but we are so glad we chose to go with Wahoo as our venue. The moment we toured and met Pam (the owner), we had this immediate gut feeling that this place would be perfect for us. The space itself is so charming, and the greenery around the patio and tent in the spring is absolutely stunning. We had around 135 guests and the staff made sure everything flowed seamlessly - there was plenty of space for guests to choose from. If you have a guest count like ours, we highly recommend buying out the restaurant for the most intimate feel - plus you may get 2 bars! Our guests raved about the beauty of the venue, the food, and the amazing service and kindness of the Wahoo! team. So many people kept talking about how Pam asked everyone before ceremony if they needed tissues - a small but thoughtful gesture that shows just a small piece of how intentional they are. The entire planning process was also so easy with them - their in house event coordinator, Sydni, is amazing, and they will do their best to achieve to your vision. Kindness and thoughtfulness are key and I promise you Pam and her team extend these things among others to their fullest. If you're thinking about it, just go for it! -

We truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day, and so much of that is thanks to the incredible venue and Wahoo! team. From start to finish, the planning process was completely seamless. Every detail was handled with care, professionalism, and genuine excitement for our day.
One thing that really stood out was their flexibility in bringing our vision to life. They were so accommodating and open to our ideas, making it easy to personalize everything and create a day that felt completely “us.” That level of collaboration made all the difference.
On the wedding day itself, everything ran so smoothly that we were able to be fully present and soak in every moment. Our guests are still raving about the outstanding service and the food, truly some of the most delicious wedding food we’ve ever had. Every course was incredible and far exceeded expectations. Multiple guests mentioned that the bartenders were the best they had ever seen, which says so much about the level of excellence across the board.
Wahoo! truly delivered the best day ever for us, and we are so grateful for the unforgettable experience they created. I would recommend them wholeheartedly to any bride looking for an stress-free, beautifully executed wedding day! -

We absolutely loved our wedding day at Wahoo! I loved the convenience of having a wedding venue that already had everything you may need. Pam and the other coordinating staff were amazing and planning out our event and coordinating between our vendors. We had a super rainy wedding day, but they were able to go with the flow and make adjustments so we could have just the day we wanted (including a ceremony in the rain!). I couldn't recommend this space enough if you want a cozy, intimate wedding with incredible food, drinks, and service! -

Recommend Wahoo!
From the first visit, to the planning process, to the day of execution, it was a pleasure working with Wahoo! Pam and her full team (Sydni, Alissa amongst others) were incredibly professional, responsive, and organized leaving us thoroughly at ease and feeling taken care of. The day of was perfect, and the team managed potential rain concerns flawlessly. We received numerous complements on the beautiful venue with the warm and intimate atmosphere, and the fantastic and attentive staff. It took a huge plate off our shoulders to have the venue also be a restaurant - we knew the food would be amazing even before the tasting. We highly recommend Wahoo! for an intimate, garden wedding vibe with fantastic food!

We absolutely loved our wedding at Wahoo! It was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we toured the space, we knew it was the perfect place for our day. The staff was warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating, making the entire planning process smooth and stress-free.
On the wedding day, everything was flawless even with having some unexpected rain during the ceremony. The Wahoo staff were communicative and professional even while having to move plans around due to weather. The venue looked stunning, the setup was exactly what we envisioned, and every detail felt thoughtfully handled. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the atmosphere, the beautiful scenery, and how seamless everything felt.
The team worked so hard behind the scenes to make sure we could simply enjoy the day, and we truly felt supported from start to finish. We can’t imagine getting married anywhere else — choosing this venue was one of the best decisions we made. -

Our wedding was the best day ever and a lot of that was thanks to how organized and efficient our venue was! Pam and her team were so easy to work with, very professional, organized, and responsive. As the parents of the bride, I must say Wahoo Grill exceeded our expectations for our daughters wedding! The transformation of the outdoor area was breathtaking! It was just magical and so intimate. The food was amazing and beverages were spot on! The whole event went off without any issues and that was due to the efforts of the owner, Pam, and her exceptional staff who worked so hard to make our evening memorable and fun for all in attendance. I can't thank Wahoo Grill enough for creating such a wonderful evening for our families and friends to celebrate the union of our daughter and our son-in-law! Wahoo helped us every step along the way!!
We loved the vibe/look of the venue the first time we toured but Pam (the owner) really sold us on it during the walkthrough because of her attitude. She’s super sweet and made sure we knew it’s our day and she and the team would help bring our vision to life.
Sydney (our coordinator) was always responsive, and always provided the details we needed.
Our actual wedding day was amazing!! We leaned on them to keep us on schedule and they did amazing, even when there were curveballs. So many of the guest came up to us and spoke about how they loved the food!! As foodies, that was super important to us. And quite a few of them said they would return for a dinner with them 😊.

My husband and I got married at Wahoo! Grill on September 21st, and we can honestly say it was the best decision we made for our wedding. We hosted both our ceremony and reception there, and everything—from the atmosphere to the food to the staff—was exemplary.
The day began with my bridal party and me getting ready in the adjacent hair salon and the bridal suite, which made for such a relaxing, joy-filled morning. The food was absolutely incredible! We had a brunch wedding with no alcohol, but the vibes were still immaculate. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about how delicious and different the food was compared to other weddings. The French toast casserole in particular was a huge hit! Everything tasted fresh, and the presentation was beautiful.
The warm, inviting atmosphere was exactly what we hoped for. We knew early on that Wahoo! Grill was the right venue for us because of how attentive and genuine the staff were. During our tasting, another couple was having their own reception, and we were so impressed by how kindly the team cared for them—it sealed the deal for us.
Wahoo! Grill’s all-inclusive approach made planning so much easier and allowed us to stay within our budget without sacrificing quality or aesthetics. The package included a day-of coordinator—actually two! Amanda and Danielle were amazing, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the day. At one point, they even brought over a cooling unit during the reception so I wouldn’t overheat in the sun—such a thoughtful touch.
Leading up to the wedding, we also worked with Sydni and Alissa, who helped guide us through the planning process with monthly check-ins and detailed documents to keep everything on track. Planning from out of state while finishing grad school in Washington, DC wasn’t easy, but their patience, flexibility, and grace made it possible.
Finally, the owner, Pam, was so kind and reassuring throughout the entire process. Our wedding felt deeply personal, intimate, and joy-filled—everything we could’ve hoped for and more. We’re endlessly grateful we chose Wahoo! Grill and can’t wait to come back for anniversaries to make more memories. -

The Wahoo! Grill Private Garden Magnificent! Fabulous! Amazing! Awesome! Excellent! I can never run out of superlatives for Beautiful Pam and her team including Sydni and Amanda! My son Jay and his bride Amarachi wanted a small wedding and I knew this would be the perfect locale! They pay such close attention to detail!
I love how they allowed us to utilize their items for free. They were great about incorporating all of the bride's desired decorations into their decor. They run their operation like a fine tuned machine and do not miss anything. I love how everything was inclusive. They do everything and you don't have to do anything once you've dropped your items after them!
The Fabulous American Cuisine was Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! Wahoo! Grill prepared full buffets of American cuisine Brunch style! If you haven't tasted the Wahoo! Scramble, you are missing a real treat!!! Our guests loved everything that was served! Everyone repeatedly commented on how beautiful the locale was and how delicious the food was. Thanks so much for making my son's wedding a marvelous day to remember! -

There are truly no words to describe how incredible our wedding was at Wahoo, but I’ll try. From the planning process to the day itself, everything was seamless. I had always worried I wouldn't be able to fully enjoy my wedding because I’d be too caught up in logistics, but that wasn’t the case at all. The entire day was perfectly timed and thoughtfully managed, which allowed us to be fully present. The ceremony and reception spaces were absolutely stunning. We needed minimal decorations because the setting spoke for itself. There were also small, thoughtful touches that made the day feel extra special, like having drinks and appetizers waiting in the bridal suite after the ceremony so my husband and I could share a private moment together. Wahoo is also incredibly transparent and easy to work with. I didn’t use a wedding planner and never felt overwhelmed. Every few months, they sent a clear, concise email with a list of to-dos or questions to answer, which kept me on track throughout the process. I also called a few times with questions, and they were always happy to talk things through with patience and clarity. They truly made everything so, so easy. The food was outstanding, too. We’re still getting compliments from our friends and family about how delicious everything was -

My husband and I cannot say enough how glad we are that we chose Wahoo! Grill for our wedding! First, the restaurant is absolutely beautiful and a perfect setting for a wedding. But beyond that, the staff is amazing. Pam, the owner, is the coolest and sweetest lady. Our day-of coordinator, Kaitlyn was excellent and she made sure everything ran like clockwork.
My husband and I had an 8 month engagement and the other venues we looked at wanted the balance paid 6 months before the date. Obviously, that gave us 2 months to come up with a lump sum. Wahoo! offered much more flexibility with payment.
Wahoo! has extremely affordable valet parking and we were able to prepay that for our guests. We used their in-house florist and Wahoo! decorated our cake with flowers.
Our guests were literally blown away by how amazing everything was. Our wedding was simple yet very classy. It was absolutely perfect. -

Our wedding was a dream thanks to Wahoo!
What Pam and her team do at Wahoo! Grill is a true gift. The venue is stunning and romantic, and you immediately feel transported to an enchanted garden far away. Second, we are fortunate to have found them to host our wedding because their team is second to none. We planned our wedding across the country, meeting through Zoom, and only walked through the actual venue a few months before the wedding. This incredible team took care of all the details, from their recommended vendors to delicious food, and directing our ceremony off property. Each part of our wedding was managed with extreme attention to detail. With Pam and her team, we were able to have the most stress-free wedding planning process ever! We wholeheartedly trusted Pam and her team, and the wedding was truly the wedding of our dreams! They were so fun to work with and excited for us to bring in new ideas like a mariachi band and curating a special cocktail off menu. We reflect on our wedding as the happiest day of our lives, and Wahoo! is the main reason for this. We can't wait to celebrate our anniversary with them and host more events there as life goes on. -

I've eaten at Wahoo many times over the years, but I was not aware of their expertise in weddings. Their planning and knowledge of the details and participant emotions was above and beyond! All our guests were in awe of the location and food. The staff did an amazing job and really paid attention to what we wanted and needed. AMAZING wedding reception at the Wahoo! Grill
Our guests could NOT stop talking about the venue and the service at the Wahoo!
Truly amazing people at every part of the process and level of service. Owner, chef, bartender, event coordinator, wait staff, and all others were professional and most of all personable/kind. We would not have chosen another place and honestly could not imagine ourselves celebrating our day anywhere else. 10/10. Ask for Pam and Kaitlin :) -

Pam and her staff at Wahoo! Grill made us feel like they were putting on a wedding for their own family. They made everything perfect and special, from planning small details months in advance to making sure the ceremony and reception ran smoothly and memorably. On the day of our wedding, they made sure that we didn't have to stress or even think about anything but enjoying ourselves. Chef Zach made our dinner gluten free and vegetarian, which was incredibly special and delicious! My fiancé and I got married at Wahoo this April and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience! From our first inquiry, Pam and her team were very accommodating. We were still shopping for venues and indecisive about which day or weekend we wanted to get married, but once we visited Wahoo and I read all of the great reviews, I knew this was the perfect choice. I can't speak for other weddings but ours was relatively small, around 60 people, and this venue was the perfect size! We didn't want to rent out a huge venue for such a small group of people - it would've felt like wasted space. But Wahoo was perfect for that intimate feel we were looking for.
Another thing I loved about this venue was that you only need minimal decorations. The space itself is the decor. Between the garden patio in full bloom and string lights, the vibes were just what we were going for.
The food was delicious and Kaitlyn (wahoo's day-of coordinator) prepared our plates and let us privately enjoy our appetizers in the bridal suite.
The rest of the staff that worked our event were super friendly and helpful, they even made sure I got plenty of photos on my Polaroid camera!
Sydney was my point of contact for everything leading up to the big day and she was super nice and helpful when addressing all of my (many) questions.
My only point of suggestion is maybe addressing the name. I don't think people knew what to expect when we told them the venue was named Wahoo! Grill. Maybe for the event portion only it could be rebranded as The Garden at Wahoo or something similar. Just a thought!
All of this to say, we were so glad we chose Wahoo! to get married and would highly recommend it to anyone considering getting married here! -

If you’re looking for a venue that’s got it all (natural beauty, organization, and affordability), this is IT!!!!!
I got married at Wahoo in early 2024 and I’m so, so glad I did. From the moment we toured to the time we left the venue after our wedding, Pam and her team did an incredible job taking care of us while planning and beyond. They were extremely attentive, understanding, and ORGANIZED. I can’t tell you how amazing it was to know there’d be no question I forgot to ask, no missing little detail, nothing – this team is a well-oiled machine when it comes to weddings and will ensure yours runs as smoothly as possible. I really didn’t have to do much planning on my own which was a godsend. Pam’s team asks you the right questions at the right time to keep you on track!
As for the event itself, it was bliss. We got married in late February and worried it would be chilly, but it was so, so cozy with heaters and blankets that Wahoo passed out. The venue was still as beautiful as ever, with gorgeous flowers and lighting to create an unforgettable ambiance. So many guests complimented its beauty, and so many people that saw my photos asked, "WHERE IS THIS MAGICAL PLACE?!?"
The food was incredibly delicious. You really can’t go wrong having a wedding at a restaurant that knows what they’re doing when it comes to feeding guests. There was such a diverse selection of choices and everything was timely, tasty, and had guests coming up for thirds. This was super important to me; I remember the food when I go to weddings and wanted mine to be amazing!
Lastly, Wahoo’s pricing is transparent, inclusive, and reasonable. You know exactly what you’re signing up for, with the ability to upgrade as you wish. I was so disheartened when beginning to plan because everything was so freaking expensive and it felt like you got NOTHING out of it. Seriously so grateful there are gem venues like this.

Flawless! Amazing!
My husband and I planned our wedding in 1 month. We got married on December 24th, 2023 at Wahoo! Grill. We were very stressed out about finding a venue in such a short notice, but the staff at Wahoo! made our experience a 10/10. When they say they handle everything, they mean it!!! It is such a beautiful venue and we needed 0 decorations. The pricing is affordable for what they offer. 10/10 would recommend. Pam and her staff are fantastic. -

Wahoo helped us have the wedding of our dreams and more, all for a reasonable price and with friendly service. Please don’t underestimate this hidden gem. After reading amazing reviews about the venue, it was the first one we toured. We loved it right away but wanted to keep an open mind so we toured other venues but could not stop thinking about Wahoo. From our tour to our send off, the staff at Wahoo exceeded our expectations. Sydni and Pam made planning a breeze and were flexible and understanding when we unexpectedly had to postpone. They captured my vision for our wedding perfectly and attended to every little detail. On our wedding day, Pam and Amanda blew us away! The space was beautifully decorated by the staff, and because the space itself is so beautiful and so many decorations are included in the venue fee, we spent very little on additional decorations. Pam even came to the rescue when I had a wardrobe malfunction minutes prior to the ceremony! Everything ran smoothly and the day was absolutely stress free because I knew Wahoo had it all covered! Our guests raved about the food and the staff made sure we had time to eat and stay hydrated. They even packed us a picnic basket full of food to take with us on our getaway! If I could go back in time, I would choose to get married again at Wahoo a thousand times over, and I will never forget the kindness and professionalism of the staff on the best day of my life so far! -

No offense to Callanwolde or the Botanical Garden, but if money was no object and I could recommend literally any venue in the city to host a wedding, I would still pick Wahoo! Grill. (This isn't a paid-for review, by the way. We got married here in May, and these are my honest thoughts.)
First, the elephant in the room, or at least it was for me. The name of the place makes it sound like nothing special. Like it's maybe a beachside sports bar with fried fish and beer specials or something. Maybe you're not liking the idea of telling your parents that you're getting married at a place called "Wahoo! Grill", or how it'll look on the invitation, or whatever. Let me be clear with you. The name is a MASSIVE undersell for what this place really is. Do yourself a favor, be open-minded and give it a fair shot, because what's inside this normal-looking restaurant is not at all what you'd expect from the outside.
As soon as you walk through the entrance, you see their outdoor space, and it is incredible. Upscale rustic design and an impossibly lush garden surrounding you on all sides. Tour it in the warm season if you can, because everything is in bloom and you can see the garden at its peak. (We toured in winter, so a lot of the garden's beauty was hypothetical. Luckily we took their word on what it would be in summer.)
We were a little worried about the size, thinking it would be too small for our 110ish-count, but it was all good. The space is laid out nicely with an open area on one end for the ceremony, a tented area on the other end for dancing, and a tighter circle in the middle that gives it overall kind of an hourglass shape. We also purchased the restaurant buyout for a little extra breathing room. As far as weather plans, they have a thin shroud hanging over the ceremony space that handles light rain but recommend having a tent plan for heavy rain.
The food here is beyond excellent. All of our guests were raving about it, particularly the ahi tuna and the steak. Just as excellent as the food itself is their serving setup. These guys have the buffet down to a science, restocking it quickly and by demand so nothing is sitting out too long.
Honestly, though, what really won us over wasn't any of this as much as it was Pam and her team. They have taken their venue and restaurant and made it into a PERFECT WEDDING MACHINE. Pam herself is all at once the business owner, the venue manager, and your personal wedding director. She toured us herself, taking notes on us even before we decided to go with them, and made us feel taken care of from start to finish. Sydni was our point-person as we put our plans together, and her emails and questions were incredibly helpful. At one point we called her simply to say our budget was getting tight and ask if there were any ways to cut costs, and she combed through our entire banquet order and found as many cuts as she could within the day. And Caitlin was our hero during the event itself, seeming to be everywhere at once making sure everything was smooth. And it was. A lot of our family and friends said it was the most stress-free wedding they'd ever been to.
At the end of the day, what they're offering here is honestly worth far more than they're charging. But Pam says that's on purpose, and that she'd rather give people a great wedding experience than play the wedding upcharge game just because. I think her energy goes a long way toward making Wahoo! what it is, and I highly recommend you experience it for yourself. -

We chose Wahoo for our rehearsal dinner and it was a big hit! Almost all of our families are from out of town so we were excited to give them a good southern dinner experience, and they certainly delivered. We had cocktail hour under the tent outside and dinner in the open patio, and we had a wonderful time. Sydni was such an easy and responsive person to work with and we had a great night. Perfect garden venue for an intimate wedding
We couldn't be more happy with our experience working with Wahoo! Grill. After touring many venues throughout Atlanta, we found ourselves at Wahoo! and knew immediately it was the right venue for our 100-person garden wedding. Pam and her team were accommodating, organized, and responsive throughout the entire wedding planning process. The space itself is gorgeous without any decorations; and even though it is small, you can fit up to 120 guests and a 6-piece band (they even have a small bridal suite!). Food was incredible (note: for larger groups, you have to be served buffet-style, which I was worried about but it ended up being just fine). Day-of staff were professional and on-top of all our needs. Venue fee includes food/drink/table settings, although you can bring your own flatware/table cloths/glassware to fit your style. 10/10 would recommend. -

Wahoo! Grill was a dream venue for our March 2023 wedding. As one of our guests described, it was “intimate,” but “still a really fun party.” Sydni was incredibly helpful and responsive during the planning process, and using Wahoo’s décor, linens, and tables made my life so much easier. During the wedding weekend, Pam and team were beyond helpful in ensuring every detail, no matter how small, was incorporated. Our guests enjoyed the food and drink, especially getting to choose however many entrees they wanted (and not having to pick just one). We can’t recommend Wahoo! enough!

Low-stress planning--> absolutely magical night!!
I can't say enough great things about our experience with Wahoo Grill. Pam and her team made the planning SO easy and stress free (I'm a medical resident and really didn't have the bandwidth to deal with planning stress) and it was just a truly magical, spectacular night. They took care of food, decor, everything! I felt like a garden princess! They were so prepared for any weather condition, were so responsive, had a gorgeous setup, and made us so loved. There are no words for the love my husband and I have for Wahoo Grill. The intimate and beautiful garden ceremony site is enough to book it, but when you add on the incredible staff, delicious food & drink and awesome location…there’s really no comparison. Throughout the planning process, Sydney and Pam were responsive, professional and so helpful.. And on the day-of, Alissa and the rest of the event staff went above and beyond. - working with the bartender to create our signature cocktail. The recs were spot on and resulted in a delicious beverage that we will be enjoying for the rest of our lives.
- the bridal suite. It's a cute, cozy space close to everything with it's own bathroom. It was wonderful to get ready there and to have that space as a respite during the event.
- the food. I love Wahoo! as a restaurant period, and the food during the wedding did not disappoint. When our cake baker fell through, Pam went above and beyond to find another baker for us to work with.
- the service. The entire event team beforehand and during the day of were so attentive. I feel that everyone got top notch service!
- little details that helped us enjoy the day. The team remembered that I love mango, so made sure the mimosas that were available to me when getting ready before the wedding included mango. It was such a nice touch. I also LOVED how after the ceremony, my fiance and I were whisked away to the bridal suite where we had time to hydrate, enjoy a cocktail, eat some appetizers, and enjoy each our first moments as husband and wife before joining our wedding guests.

Where do I even begin? My Husband and I just got married at Wahoo Grill two weeks ago and it was undeniably the best day of my entire life! Much of that due to the incredible service we received from Pam and the Wahoo team. I can’t say enough great things about the experience we had at Wahoo, but I will do my best to sum it up. To start with, the venue is just GORGEOUS. We got married outside in the garden and it really felt like we had been transported to another place. The greenery and brick aisle were just so beautiful, and it gave our wedding the whimsical look I was going for. Speaking of that whimsical look, the Wahoo team went above and beyond to make my décor dreams come true. I sent Pam some inspiration pictures of what I was envisioning and her and her team set everything up for me, the end result far exceeded my expectations. Pam truly made my wedding dreams come true! It was the most beautiful display; it was everything I had hoped for and more. Pam and her team made the day go so smoothly for my wedding party and me. My day of planner, Alyssa was equally amazing! When we had fear of rain she talked us through a backup plan and made my bridal worries disappear. Luckily, it didn’t rain, but her kindness and attentiveness did not go unnoticed. She was so amazing to have by my side on the wedding day, she helped coordinate everything and took a huge weight off my shoulders. I really felt as if I had nothing to worry about except getting down the aisle. Pam and Alyssa took all my worries away and really allowed me to be a bride and be in the moment. I truly can’t say enough great things about my experience with Wahoo Grill. If you want your wedding to be the most magical, perfect day book with them! Best Ever!
We could not have asked for a better experience having our wedding at Wahoo! Pam and her entire staff are so kind and organized. They were always available to talk and answer any and all questions throughout the entire process. They provide you SO much for the price. All other venues we looked at upcharged for every little thing. Wahoo includes so many items as a part of the event package, even a day of coordinator. Having a day of coordinator who is affiliated with the venue is a game changer. Pam made sure we always had a full drink in hand and food! The best day ever!
My husband and I had our reception here in October 2021, after having to reschedule from 2020. First off, the fact that the venue worked with us during a pandemic was so gracious. We didn’t lost any money and the process of picking a new date was simple. We are so appreciate of that. The whole team at wahoo! Grill seriously blew us away. The food, the vibes, the service. They were prompt, communicative, and organized. And so kind. Sydni and Pam were always so helpful and available to answer questions. We were planning it mostly from out of state and required a lot of check ins and they always responded respectively and promptly. The day of our event everything ran so smoothly. Pam was on site with us and was a BLAST. She made sure everything ran smoothly- from the table layouts, the band getting set up, decorations, timeline, etc. I was sooooo impressed! Not to mention the set up and green space itself is GORGEOUS. You don’t feel like you’re in the city! Oh, and the dance floor was HOT. I’ve heard so many horror stories of wedding days going wrong and ours was far from that. It was the best day/night of our lives! I would do it all over again in a second. Thank you so much Wahoo! Wahoo! Was the best wedding decision we made!
From the outset, Wahoo! was the perfect wedding venue for us. Pam and Sydni made us feel so comfortable and secure throughout the entire process from touring the venue to the day of.
I wanted to have a mid size wedding, but I wasn't too thrilled about dealing with all of the logistics that come with planning an event and I'd seen friends and family have to worry about every little detail. After we toured the venue, I knew that Wahoo! would be perfect, not only because of how beautiful the venue was (even when we first saw it in January) but because of how on top of it and in their element every staff member we met was! Pam assured me that everything about the event would go well and that it would be my job to just fill in the details I cared about as I saw fit (essentially just leaving the "fun stuff" to us). Every correspondence we had with them was helpful and efficient, they answered all of our questions super quickly, explained things really well, and made great suggestions.
When I say I didn't have to worry about anything at all on the day of the wedding, I mean it. Things that wouldn't have even occurred to me (they just brought us our food when it was time to eat and we didn't have to grab it ourselves) made everything go so smoothly it was like a wonderful evening was unfolding around us and I could genuinely just relax and enjoy myself. Pam even let me hang my dress up in her office the day before so that all I had to bring on the day of was myself.
My family lives abroad and on a random weekend my mother was in town, I called to ask if I could come tour the venue again with her very last minute and they fit me in even though they had an event that day which really meant a lot to me. They accommodated a handful of guests with some dietary restrictions very easily.
I chose additional vendors through Wahoo! and it was so reassuring that they had been to the venue before and knew Pam so that I didn't have to coordinate with anyone about anything beyond my personal preferences for photos/music/flowers. Special shoutout to Erin, the florist who works with Wahoo!, for turning the already gorgeous venue into a magical paradise.
The food was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect, and I felt really taken care of by everyone. The staff working on the day of the event was so nice and even told me and my husband that they liked our vows which was super sweet I hadn't even realized that they were paying attention to the ceremony.
I would totally recommend that anyone choose to have their wedding at Wahoo. There are a million things that can go wrong at an event like a wedding and at ours there wasn't a single one. I am so, so pleased that we decided to have our wedding there and I can't wait to go eat dinner there again because, not only is it the perfect venue, it's a wonderful restaurant. -

We are so happy we chose Wahoo Grill to host our intimate little garden wedding. Wahoo ended up being the perfect venue for our Christmas, garden-themed wedding. We had our ceremony at a church then our reception here. From day one Reggie, Pam, and the entire team were so kind and accommodating. If you have a vision for their space they will make it work. With COVID we ended up having to downsize and our package was easily adjusted due to the flexibility of the space. Reggie, their event coordinator, is SO good - she's organized, calm, and accommodating. Their food is incredible. Despite it being outdoors, having a wedding in December (~40 degrees) the heaters they had made it warm even in my spaghetti strap wedding gown. It feels very intimate but is still very spaced out which is great. They take the pandemic very seriously which I deeply appreciated - my fiance and I didn't have to worry, they enforced masks/etc. Overall a 12/10 experience. I'm so happy our reception was here. -

Everything went great! From the decor, food, family, hospitality, and the special moment we shared with our loved ones. Wahoo! staff made it so easy for us! We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at Wahoo! Grill for 80 guests. If you are looking for a venue, look NO further. Reggie (the day of coordinator) was absolutely phenomenal the day of the wedding and in the planning process. She made the day go SO smoothly and was so attuned to every move I made. She is a bride's dream. Also, I need to mention that planning was SO easy! I am not into details and I was a super chill bride, but Sydni and Pam made the planning process simple and easy. They were always willing to get on the phone with me and answer any questions. I also have to shout out the rest of the staff, from Reggie's assistant Oscar to the bartender on site - everyone was phenomenal. We got married on 3.14.2020 and the COVID-19 outbreak was just starting to take place. Not only was Wahoo staff willing to work with me on 7 seating arrangement changes since guests were dropping like flies, but they were also SO understanding about the final guest count changing. AND THE FOOD - SOOOO DELICIOUS! My guests are still raving about how good the food was and how beautiful the venue is. Seriously, don't get bogged down in choosing a venue that only handles the space - book Wahoo! Grill immediately and thank me later! -

My Memorable Wedding Day!
Words cannot express my gratitude for Pam Ledbetter and the rest of her staff, especially Sydni & Reggie! These people are a class act! My husband and I had the wedding we wanted and more! I didn’t want a huge wedding, but I wanted an experience nonetheless. Our initial plan was to whisk off to Hawaii to have a quaint ceremony and later have a party with lots of friends and family. We quickly realized that our close family and friends had other ideas and wanted to celebrate with us and see us take our vows. So, we had to change gears and try somehow to bring a bit of the Hawaiian tropics to us, but we couldn’t afford to blow our budget on an idea. We searched so many places in Atlanta and either they were waaay too expensive or the setting wasn’t quite right. Not to mention, we didn’t want a huge guest list. A family member suggested I take a look at Wahoo Grill in Decatur. I thought at first, what would a restaurant be able to do for me, but after making an appointment to see the location with Pam and what they could offer me, I quickly fell in love and put wheels in motion to plan my special day. She turned me onto, Sydni and I cannot tell you how important she was to me. I had no clue what to expect, how much my wishes I had would cost or next steps, as I had never planned a wedding. I only knew what my vision was and I tell you, this woman had the patience of Jobe! I will simple say that everything I threw at her she handled with patience, grace and a smile over the phone. She never let on to me that she was tired of the questions or changes I had. She simply told me what was possible and if she couldn’t do it she offered suggestions, right up to the very day! My husband and I had some unfortunately things happen during the planning of our wedding and I was really overwhelmed and stressed by it all and planning a wedding certainly didn’t offer any relief. For a moment I didn’t even think we could go through with the wedding, but Sydni was right there all the way and put me at ease with what was possible. Needless to say, our wedding day was all that I had hoped for! Let me not forget Reggie! I don’t know how this woman did what she did the day of my wedding. She had gotten off around 2am in the morning and had to meet me and my mom and hair stylist at 7am running on fumes! She knows her stuff and was the constant professional and lead this wedding with lots of patience and due diligence while keep me and my wedding party calm and focused. The food was excellent the drinks were delightful and the scenery from the outdoor covered patio and private garden brought my Hawaii directly to my footsteps with an absolutely gorgeous sunny brunch wedding day at the end of the fall season, all at an affordable cost. I cannot thank them enough, but I will never forget Wahoo Grill, its captain Pam and her crew of talented individuals that made our special day one for the record books. A simple thank you isn’t enough, however if you are looking for a local place to hold a special event with lots of charm at an affordable cost and flexibility, especially your “once in a life time wedding day”, look no further than this diamond in the rough. There is a damn good reason they get so many great reviews and they deserve each and every single one of them. -

Having our wedding and reception here on 10/18/19 was one of the best decisions we could have made. We chose Wahoo! because we could get all the things we needed in one place. And boy did they deliver! Our package included food (apps, dinner buffet and desserts) and an open bar for four hours. During the planning phase the Wahoo! team was very responsive and flexible. They were quick to respond and were open to last minute changes without issue. Our day of coordinator, Reggie, was amazing and did everything from making sure everything happened on time to keeping our glasses topped up! And don’t get me started on the food... one word, delicious! Definitely recommend Wahoo! Grill. -

We went with Wahoo Grill for our engagement party last Saturday. Everything from the beginning of planning to the night of the event was a great experience! We met with Sydni back in May, and she and Pam were both excellent to communicate with regarding layout and what I wanted to decorate with. The staff who worked that night were super professional and personable; they helped make the event flow smoothly. Everyone had a great time. We all loved the food, the decorations, and the atmosphere. It was absolutely stunning. I would recommend this venue to EVERYONE, whether it's for a wedding, an event, or just to dine in. We got married 4/6/2019 and had our ceremony and reception at Wahoo grill (we had about 100 - 110 guests) - I highly highly highly recommend them!!! Such a great experience. They really worked with me to plan our wedding & reception and provided everything (tables, chairs, silverware/plates, tablecloths, candles, heaters/AC, food, drinks, staff, etc). They also accommodate outside vendors very well (we had king of pops come to hand out popcycles to our guests) It was really fun to plan and stress-free because they are so on top of everything.
The venue is beautiful - we rented out all three rooms and it accommodated our 100 guests well. There was lots of room to mingle and dance. Pam and Reggie and their staff work so hard and are very detail oriented & make sure everyone is on the same page before the wedding. I knew the timeline, what we were paying for, total bill, etc. so there were no surprises at the end.
Their staff was absolutely amazing the day of our wedding - they were nice to our guests and really created a great environment. They were lovely.
And the food!! People are still commenting on how good it was. Their chef actually came out and introduced himself to us during our tasting - he made great recommendations as well.
Their pricing is very reasonable for everything included. Our total wedding cost equaled our to what some places were charging just for the venue and chairs! We were able to do everything under $15k but we picked some of the top tier selections. All of the food / drink tiers are great - if you have a smaller guest list or choose the beer/wine option, etc you can definitely budget lower than we did.
Oh, and I didn’t mention that all of this was done in 6 weeks as our initial venue closed and cancelled on us 2 month before our wedding! We were lucky our date was open and honestly, it was a better wedding / venue than we had originally chosen.
It was a very intimate and personalized event - Again, highly recommend had such a wonderful experience! -

My fiance and I looked at Wahoo for our reception. It was a special place to us as we had been there on many dates and had many family gatherings there. We wanted to be able to include our dog and also to have a fire pit, so we ended up going with another venue. However, we had asked them if they were able to cater and we are glad they were. You can truly tell that they have been doing this for years. Pam, Sydni, and Reggie were all wonderful. Everyone was so detail oriented. We were able to make a custom menu and the food turned out perfectly. Since it was a fall reception, we had two soups, a carving station, a salad, an oyster station, and a cheese station. I can't tell you how many compliments we got on the food. Food was one of the things we wanted to emphasize at our reception and it was truly perfect (we actually got to eat at our reception)! We provided our own alcohol, but Wahoo was able to provide bartenders. Thank you so much Wahoo for helping to make our day truly perfect! -

Sarah Sent on 05/30/2018We got married in 3 months, the Monday after we were engaged we visited Wahoo! That Sunday our family visited and we made it our Venue. Choosing Wahoo! Grill our wedding venue was the best and easiest decision we made. Their event team are ROCKSTARS, the management system they use makes wedding planning a breeze (hello, amazing!) They are quick to respond, offer advice, and make the planning process SO smooth. Their team set-ups and breaks down everything. They are a well oiled machine that will make your wedding just like you wanted. Pam, Sydni, and Reggie are amazing and willing to do anything to make you happy! Our guest were raving of Wahoo! before they even came to our wedding based on pictures they saw of the venue, but wow- afterwards, the praises are still coming in. The food was great, the coordination was on point, they were friendly and kind. If you are getting married in Atlanta, want a outdoor/indoor easy wedding with a dream team behind you- visit the Wahoo! PERFECT DAY!

The staff were easy and pleasant to work with, the menu was delicious, and the venue space itself was gorgeous. They were flexible in letting us arrive early to set up and allowed us to take our time clearing out guests and cleaning up at the end of the event. Everything was perfect! Thank you so much for a terrific experience!

Throughout the entire planning process they were always available to answer questions and help in any way. Reggie, the day of coordinator, met with us beforehand and made sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day. We brought our decorations and they displayed them for us. We used the onsite salon and bridal suite for getting ready. On the night of, everything was perfect! The food was fabulous and the garden looked magical. It surpassed our expectations! We are ecstatic with the way our wedding turned out and are extremely happy we chose to have our special day at Wahoo.

My husband & I fell in love with Wahoo Grill the first time we toured it and saw the romantic garden area and gorgeous white canopy. There's plenty of greenery and decorations that already matched our own whimsical style. Pam, the owner, and Reggie, the wedding coordinator, were sweet, patient, and intuitive. I don't know what I would've done without their help and guidance to help us have the perfect wedding day! I'm sure everything went as planned from our other meetings because of their efforts.
We held our ceremony and reception at Wahoo. The change-over from ceremony to table settings was fast and easy for them with our 80 something guests getting appetizers and drinks. We chose the menu and appetizers that suited us the best and are completely obsessed with all their food. I rave about this venue to all of my friends and would recommend them to anyone that cared to have a spectacular event with an amazing staff!!
