Wade House Reviews

Our wedding was originally scheduled for October of 2020 but, because of COVID, was cancelled. Wade House was so great and flexible through the entire process - not only as we were deciding how to navigate COVID, but also after we decided to cancel when they were willing to refund our non-refundable deposit. We really appreciate their flexibility during this uncertain time and highly recommend them!

We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at The Carriage Pavillion at The Wade House and it was absolutely amazing! The venue was perfect and Stephanie was so easy and great to work with! Our day was incredibly special and The Wade House and Stephanie were a large reason why! We were able to have the wedding we wanted and that was so meaningful to my husband and I. Thank you!

The Wade House Carriage Pavilion was a perfect setting for our son’s wedding. It is set in the woods and very private. They were able to decorate the way they wanted in a natural theme using different types of woods and grapevine. Stephanie was awesome to work with. She was always available to answer questions. We would highly recommend this venue.

We had our wedding at the Wade House Carriage Pavilion on October 6th. The venue is beautiful - especially with the leaves beginning to change. More than that - the event coordinator, Stephanie, was a dream to work with!! She was extremely accommodating to our needs, amazing at communication, and was always in a great mood and ready to help in any way possible. AND....a horse drawn carriage brought me and my parents to the ceremony before walking me down the aisle...it was like a fairy tale! I would recommend this location to any couple who is looking for a unique and beautiful venue to make their dream wedding a reality.

Beautiful places to be married, and Stephanie is so helpful with the planning! Our daughter was married there last weekend and it was like a fairy tale! She was married outside in the Meadows, and came in on an historic horse drawn carriage...surprised all the guests. Excellent service, great buildings to get married in (WITH A/C! great for summer weddings and heavy dresses)....and such a flexible, caring staff. Highly recommended!!!

After looking at only one other venue, we fell IN LOVE with the Wade House!!! They are a hidden gem that not many people know about yet. As a couple that loves all things outdoors, we wanted something that wasn’t a tacky barn wedding. They had two locations on the historic grounds to choose from. We fell in love with the stone and old wood buildings on The Lawns, yet we had access to the whole historic site for pictures. If you’d rather opt for something indoors, they also have two venues to choose from. Stephanie, the event coordinator was amazing to work with! She knows what she’s doing and she made everything run perfectly on our special day. Our day was dreamy.

We were absolutely thrilled with the experience we had with the Wade House from the beginning until the end. We used the lawns for our ceremony and the Walnut room for our reception and were thrilled with both. The level of communication and support we received from the staff was outstanding.

We had many guests comment that this was one of the most interesting and beautiful wedding sites they had been to. Between our ceremony and reception we had lawn games, carriage rides, and the carriage museum available for our guests. The bartending service is through the Wade House and they were extremely flexible with planning what we would cover (and let us know that we were running low on wine, which we were very easily able to rectify). Stephanie was the coordinator that we worked with for the bulk of our decisions and she was fantastic.

This venue and staff made our day everything we wanted it to be and more.

The Wade House was an absolutely beautiful venue for our reception last weekend! Although the wedding didn't quire cooperate, we had a great time on the omnibus taking pictures on their historic grounds. The events coordinator Stephanie was also incredibly flexible and easy to work with, she responded to emails/phone calls quickly and answered any questions we had. Highly recommended!

Stephanie and the Wade House team were great to work with and very accommodating! We were even able to take some wedding pictures inside some of the historic buildings on the property.

I would have my wedding again here in a heartbeat. The staff is amazing and they are more than willing to work with you on everything!

The Wade House is a beautiful place for a wedding. When my (then) fiancé and I were looking for a venue we feel in love with this place. Also Stephanie (from the wade house) was always a big help and always answered our question
