Amazing Caterer
Waddell's Catering was amazing to work with. I used their services for my son and daughter in law's rehearsal dinner in August. They were so easy to work with. They have a wonderful menu to choose from and if what you want isn't on the menu they will do their best to make it happen. You will not be disappointed. The staff is amazing and easy to work with from the taste testing to the end of the event. They were very professional, the staff is great, the food is great, the set up and clean up was great, the presentation was great. I couldn't have been happier with the entire night. My daughters wedding
As mother of the bride, I was most pleased with the staff’s performance. They handled everything from set up to exceptional clean up, taking all the weight off me. You will not be disappointed in the service or the quality of food you receive. My daughter’s wedding was perfect from the rehearsal dinner to the reception meal and anything in between. My experience with Waddell’s Catering
During a very busy season, Waddell’s worked with me well, answering all my questions. The event was a Christmas party for my Sunday School class. We selected our menu from many available options. They arrived early to set up the beautiful display of our dinner, desserts and drinks. The service was spectacular for our guests who numbered 76 in total. There were no surprises or delays. Perfect experience!
We recently had our son's rehearsal dinner (Southern cooking for 60 people) and reception (Taco Bar, Pasta bar, and a Southern bar for 150 people) catered by Waddell's Catering. Every detail was perfect! From meeting for the tasting to the final call a week before the wedding to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. All the food was delicious both days and the servers were very attentive to all the guests, checking in with me and the mother of the bride to make sure we didn't need anything. Setup and clean-up were done seamlessly and on time. We could not have acted for a better experience. I would highly recommend Waddell's Catering—pictures to be added shortly.

The Best Around!
I could go on and on about Waddell’s. The food, the service, the people, were all amazing. The food is PHENOMENAL! We fed about 250 people and it honestly tasted like you were eating at your grandma’s house. It was just as tasty and flavorful as it was during our taste testing. My wedding was a month ago and guests are still telling me how good the food was. The service was quick and sweet, everyone was so kind. They served our food, cut and served the cake, and the bartender was awesome everyone loved him. I could not recommend this company enough, they made us feel like family.

From the initial taste testing to the clean up after the reception, the customer service, food and all around service was 2nd to none!! Mrs. Gwen would personally answer the phone and answer any question, no matter how big or little. Communication is top notch. The food was AMAZING and our guests were complimenting all night and going back for seconds! The staff were excellent, so kind and professional and always with a smile. We absolutely loved having Waddell’s be apart of our day! We had people weeks after the wedding still talking about the dinner that Waddell’s provided. Waddells was recommended to us by a friend. They allowed us to come and have a tasting prior to selecting them. The food was very well prepared and the seasonings were perfect. We had made our selection but they were cooking steak on the grill that day for another event. Piper came to the venue to meet with the wedding coordinator to work out the logistics. The day of the event the staff worked very professionally and everything turned out wonderful. WE WOULD STRONGLY RECCOMMEND WADDELLS TO EVERYONE. We will certainly use them again.

Was a wonderful job done by there staff and there bartender.they was there set up promptly and cleaned everything up. They did everything we ask for - we couldnt found anyone more reasonable or easier to work with. We would recommend to anyone to use them or do the test tasting to pick food. My sons wedding
We had steaks for rehearsal was very pleased -you know it’s hard get that many at one time decent . The salads was fresh - twice baked potatoes awesome. The desert was one of there homemade . They was very honest about what’s made in house . We did a tasting to choose our food . All there was was on top of serving and cleaning up . I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Waddell catering is absolutely wonderful. Piper and Gwen were extremely talented, southern bell ladies who were quite frankly a joy to be around. They fixed excellent food and the whole thing was classy and professional. We had a wedding of about 325 in the middle of a field and they handled it with ease! Waddells Catering gets 100 out 100! From the minute I called them for quote to the second the drove away from our venue the evening of the wedding, I was beyond pleased! The food was wonderful and tailored to exactly what we wanted when we wanted it. The staff was professionally dressed and professionally trained! They worked so easily with us on our menu and the presentation was beautiful as well. Gwen, Piper, Mike and the crew were friendly and treated our guests wonderfully. I can not say enough good things about them. They will be the only people I call for the next event I have!

I recently booked Waddell's Catering for my wedding and I cannot recommend this vendor enough! They are absolutely wonderful, and so easy to work with. Waddell’s catering is top notch! Working with Gwen and Piper was wonderful for my son’s wedding 10/2/2022. It was a beautiful drive out to Gwen’s home for the tasting. This was the best food I’ve ever had! We couldn’t wait for the wedding and she did not disappoint!
On the wedding day, Piper was one of the servers that helped coordinate everything. She had 2 other wonderful helpers that made everything go very smoothly.
The food was everything I had hoped for! We enjoyed the Praline chicken and corn casserole. Many people have asked again where can they get some more of that chicken!! Don’t hesitate, you will not be disappointed!

Of all the vendors I had for my wedding Waddell’s was hands down one of my favorite. I’m honestly not sure what is better their food or the services provided. Everything about my experience with them just screams southern hospitality. Each member of the staff was so helpful and courteous not only to me and my husband to our guests as well. At any time I needed anything during my planning process and wedding Waddell’s was there for me. I can’t recommend them enough and certainly can’t wait to use them again in the future.

Exceeded our expectations from the initial call to the follow-up for a wedding with 180 guests. We received endless compliments from our guest about the food. Our guest breached the door to the reception, and they changed the happy hour by serving the guest inside without missing a beat. I am mother of the bride and never once noticed the servers clearing and cleaning, however, tables stayed cleaned. Very professional group that knows how to make a perfect meal from start to finish. When my daughter began her wedding planning, a friend of ours recommended Waddell’s for the catering. We were 100% satisfied, not only with the food, but the customer service they provided. Piper kept in contact with us every step of the way. She immediately returned phone calls, and made sure that every part of the catering experience was perfect. The experience with Waddell's Catering was easy from start to finish. I have had Waddell's at various events and knew the food was AMAZING, but was unsure if they would meet my needs. Wow!! From the food to the desserts and especially the staff. We used Waddell’s Catering for the rehearsal dinner and the level of professionalism and hospitality surpassed any service ever used in the past. My son and daughter in law love a southern home cooked meal, not to say, they can be a little picky. Mrs. Waddell and Piper hit it out of the ballpark. If you are looking for the best and most helpful caterer, you cannot go wrong with Waddell's Catering. I have known this family for many years and have always known they serve the best food but I had not had the privilege to use their services until my daughter's wedding. From the taste testing with Gwen, making decisions through Piper to the actual day, they are completely on task! We had appetizers, a pasta bar and salad bar that would beat any high end restaurant. All of the food was delicious and the presentation was excellent. All of the staff were very helpful but I have to give a shout out to Amber Waddell! She went above and beyond her duties and made sure I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING. She even helped me with another vendor we were using for the dessert by making sure they knew where to set up and when to bring their vehicles into the site. She did not have to do this but it was a big relief for this mama to know it was all taken care of. Having Waddell’s catering for small events I had attended over the past 12 years definitely made them a top choice when planning my son’s wedding. Not once or a couple of times but every single time they would score a perfect ten with every aspect of their catering. Our experience with them for the wedding was no different. The food is absolutely out of this world. My son who used to get left overs from our business meetings when he was 8 and 9 remembered the chocolate cake he loved so much 12 years later. So of course he made his request for this dessert for the rehearsal dinner. The staff has always been punctual, accommodating, friendly, and an all around pleasure to be around. They went above and beyond for us during the wedding and rehearsal dinner. Being a Covid wedding our date changed three times over a two year period. This never affected their professionalism or our pricing. They will definitely have my business for the smallest to biggest catering needs. They will not disappoint!

Wow what an AMAZING experience!!
This is a multigenerational family ran business and you really get that first hand family treatment! The food is outstanding and incredibly affordable compared to others. The service / wait staff are so amazing our event went flawlessly snd I could not have asked got it to have been better!! If you’d looking forward a caterer this is the BEST pick!! You go in snd taste what you want to choose from yo really suit your preferences!! The Taco bar was perfect for this Bridal shower. They are AMAZING!!

Delicious food and professional staff
Waddell's recently catered my daughter's wedding and from the tasting down to the big day, this catering team displayed the upmost level of professionalism, hospitality and flexibility. The Waddell's, Piper and the staff truly lifted one stressful "to do" item from our wedding planning list. Highly recommend!

Best Caterer in Columbus, GA Area
Waddell’s Catering was everything and more on our wedding day! Gwen and Piper literally made our food dreams come to life! They were highly attentive and always kept in contact with us to make sure everything would run smoothly the day of our wedding. They offered us a tasting of all of the delicious food they have to offer! Gwen really knows her way around the kitchen. We ended up going with chicken alfredo & baked ziti, salad, and garlic knots for our rehearsal dinner. For the wedding we did a taco bar. It was all SO AMAZING! The presentation was gorgeous and the staff was extremely friendly! I would recommend Waddell’s to anyone in this area! The best part about this business is, it’s family operated! Thank you again, Gwen & Piper, for everything. We are forever thankful!

An amazing experience
Waddell's Catering was more than a bride could ever ask for. This family-owned and operating company went above and beyond during my wedding and through the process leading up to the big day. Piper was extremely flexible and stayed in contact with me the entire time, giving me ease of mind that everything would go flawlessly, and IT DID! The staff was extremely attentive, sweet, and executed things perfectly. They even helped with things they were not expected to do, like making our appetizers we brought in look like a beautiful presentation since we ran out of time and had to literally dump them on a plate. Talk about going above and beyond!
The food- I can't say enough. We had salad, delicious anniversary chicken (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED), creamy mashed potatoes, and a roasted vegetable medley. The plate presentation was phenomenal and the veggies added wonderful pops of color to the plates. The salads were also fresh and beautifully pre-plated at each guests' seat.
I can't explain in words how grateful I am to have chosen this company. They show their family values in every aspect of work, and they make you feel like you are a family member too. I highly recommend this stellar company. Not only is it an amazing value (and trust me I searched everywhere), but it is a delicious meal guaranteed every time with impeccable service. I can't wait to host an event and use this company again.

My experience with Waddell Catering was perfect!
I just love Waddell catering! Mrs. Waddell is a true professional! From taste testing to actual event everything went smoothly and of course the food was delicious. Piper is the absolute best! I couldn’t have done it without her. She was so kind and just amazing. I used this company two times in a 6 week period that’s how much I love them!

Delicious food and Amazing Staff
The food was incredible on our wedding day. Everyone LOVED the food and especially the pie bar they set up for us. Piper and the Waddells were so fun to work with and we will recommend them to everyone!

Book Waddell's Catering for your wedding or event!
Waddell's Catering was absolutely wonderful to deal with. Gwen, Piper, and their team were so pleasant and accommodating throughout the entire tasting, booking, and catering process! We got married on 10/10/2020, and we did not have to worry about a thing - they handled everything from the happy hour appetizers to the bartending, the cake cutting, serving, and the set up and break down! You won't find prices this reasonable for the value that you get. Not only is their customer service amazing, but the food was absolutely fabulous! We loved everything we tried during our tasting and had a hard time choosing what to serve for our wedding because it was all so yummy! Our wedding guests went back for 2nds and 3rds if that tells you anything! (We had the Anniversary Chicken and Hamburger Steak with Onion Gravy served with Squash Casserole and Mashed Potatoes.) Our guests raved about the food, and there wasn't any leftover by the end of the night when it was all said and done. I would 100% recommend them to anyone, and we would use them again if we decided to do any big events in the future! We loved that this is a family owned and operated business, and are happy to support them now and in their future endeavors. Thank you so much Waddell's Catering Team for all you did to make our day even more special :)

Mrs. Waddell and her staff were fabulous! The food was delicious . The staff was organized , friendly , very professional and on time. The guest loved the food and their hospitality. The gold chargers and gold silverware made the tables very elegant. They were very clean and they took every precaution for COVID . I will recommend Waddell catering to everyone I know. I will look forward to using them at my next event.

Amazing people, food, and drinks!!!
Working with Waddell's Catering was an absolute pleasure! Everything was wonderful. Gwen and Piper were incredibly diligent and thoughtful. We couldn’t believe how reasonable the price was for the amount of food and the quality of it. We had more than enough food for our wedding, and had enough for later. We have consistently heard from our wedding guests that the food was really good. We also used their bartending services. Beth did an amazing job, she was very professional. She was very easy to communicate and work with. We would absolutely recommend this company to work with for your special day!

Fantastic food awesome food and friendlies staff
Waddell‘s catering far exceeded my expectations. I used them for my daughter’s wedding and since they were so fabulous I used them for a retirement party as well. They were willing to do whatever I needed and accommodate any requests I made. of them. The food was superb. We were nervous about it being hot enough since it was a Buffet, but it was perfect. I highly recommend Waddell’s catering for all your party needs.

Southern hospitality at its finest
Gwen and Piper were exceptional in the planning of our Rehearsal Dinner on 10/8/20. The food was excellent, plentiful, and our every request was taken care of by their awesome staff. The Chinese Virus caused some changes, but the staff made the flow seamlessly smooth. Everyone raved over the food. Our Dad said the pecan pie was the best he'd ever had. They know what they are doing in the kitchen. We had so much food, noone left hungry. I highly recommend them! Thank you Waddell's

Our Guests Raved!
Having been to so many weddings this last year with bland food, having something spectacular without breaking the bank was our top priority and Waddell's exceeded expectations!!! Gwen was so hospitable during the tasting and Piper was a joy to work with leading up to wedding day.
The serving staff were all very professional, hardworking and kind towards guest. With the current trends of people dropping out last minute due to covid, we expected to be left with too much food to take home but people enjoyed it so much they went back for seconds and even thirds!
I can not tell you how many compliments I've received on the food! 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Definitely try the anniversary chicken!

Exceptional food and exceptional service
Our original wedding date in June had to be rescheduled due to current situation with the pandemic. Waddell’s worked with us when we found a new date and venue. They provided a convenient drop off for our rehearsal dinner. For our wedding reception they provided an exceptional service and everyone raved about how good the food was. As the wedding couple we were treated like royalty with very attentive service.

Exceptional food and service
Wadells was amazing the quality of their service and food was amazing! We had to move our wedding inside and they accommodated all of our request and got our food set up after the ceremony. They were very attentive to the two of us! We are a same sex couple and they had no issues with that ! I would recommend them for any type of event. They have amazing fried chicken !!!!

Run don’t walk to book Mrs. Waddell and her team to prepare the most delicious meal for your wedding. For our appetizers we had fruit and cheese skewers and meatballs that were delicious. For dinner, we enjoyed a delicious selection of the Anniversary Chicken (or Angel Chicken as my husband calls it since it tastes like it was made in heaven) with both loaded and regular mashed potatoes, green beans, and rolls. The food was perfectly cooked, fresh, and very filling. I still have people asking me today what was served and how can they get more. Along with the delicious food, Mrs. Gwen, Piper, and everyone we spoke to was friendly and helped communicate with us amidst the restrictions that we were under due to COVID-19. I cannot recommend Waddell's Catering enough for your wedding food needs.

Using Waddell's makes you feel like you are using family. They cater to your every need and reassure you that it id your day and they are simply there to help. Our food was delicious and the bartender was wonderful. They even reassured us when we had to reschedule due to COVID. Thanks again!
