  When you dream of the prefect wedding alot comes to mind but when we found The Foshay it was unforgettable and beautiful past perfect. From the very time our guest enter to exiting its a dream. The service we reiceved from The Forshay start to finish with the entire Wedding process was wonderful. They made us feel like family. With mutiple trips to the venue to sort details eager to return time and time again. Also following up with any questions weather it was phone calls, emails you name it, the staff always wanted to make us happy and confident in our choice as our unforgettable memory that will be with us forever. We couldn't have imagined our wedding as much as a success without the staff from The Foshay. Thank you From The Tirado Family

  After reviewing and visiting countless venues for our wedding, my wife and I selected the W. We couldn't be happier with our decision. The experience of working with Jodi and the entire team at the W was outstanding!
  
  Jodi went above and beyond the call of duty from day one to make sure that we understood all of our options and felt comfortable with the process. Through multiple in-person tours of the facility and many e-mails, Jodi tackled any and all questions with friendliness and speed. We always felt that we had an outstanding single point of contact with Jodi who has looking after us and our event.
  
  The facility and food at the W are beyond compare. There isn't better food anywhere. Period. The W doesn't include any hidden fees or room rental costs like most other places do which was a great feature for us. All told we feel we received an excellent value for a premium experience for our guests!

  My wife and I got married at the W Minneapolis in June 2015 and had a fantastic experience! The setup was perfect for our guests; the spaces for the reception and cocktail hour are well integrated with the rest of the hotel. Our wedding was about 160 people, which was perfectly sized for the space. In the reception hall specifically, there is a lot of natural light that comes through the windows and a great natural focal point with the mural wall at one end.
  
  The food was also one of the top highlights of our wedding reception. All the menu options are cooked in the same kitchen as Manny's steakhouse (one of the best in the city), and the quality does not disappoint. I cannot recommend the filet with whipped horseradish potatoes enough. Truly delicious.
  
  To make our wedding as convenient as possible, we also set up a room block with the W. Many of our guests chose to stay there and thought the accommodations were very comfortable and a good value, especially considering other events around the city that weekend were driving up room rates. The hotel also did a great job with our suite for the night of the wedding, even going as far to have chocolate covered strawberries and a few bottles of champagne waiting for us after the reception.
  
  However, the single best part of working with the W for our reception was working with Jodi Bahr and the hotel staff. They went out of their way to help us make the wedding day truly special. I was especially impressed with how easy they were to work with, especially as changes to our reception plan were happening all the way up to the night before the wedding. Jodi is a true professional that really understood the type of wedding we were looking to have. She was also great about responding to emails in a timely fashion and able to jump on the phone for a few minutes as needed.
  
  You are in great hands with Jodi and the W Minneapolis! It is too bad you only get married once, because they were THAT GREAT to work with.

  As the Mother of the Bride, I was thrilled with the attention to detail provided by all the W staff. From our event coordinator, to the bartenders, to the wait staff, everyone was pleasant, professional, helpful, courteous, and top notch! I highly recommend the W Hotel for a wedding reception. First class!

  We used this venue for our ceremony, and had our reception in the bar area in the lobby. The space was just what we needed, and the atmosphere was amazing. It was also a very reasonable value for our purposes.

  My wife and I actually got engaged at the W Hotel Minneapolis Foshay. When it came time to select a wedding venue, we visited at least 10 different locations. The last location we evaluated was the W Hotel Minneapolis. After just 5 minutes, it was immediately clear that we wanted to host our wedding there!
  
  The space was perfect (not only because of the special meaning to us) but also because it was an AMAZING, WORLD CLASS event space with an unusually ultra-modern throwback aesthetic. We fell in LOVE with the history, modern decor, and historical aesthetic of the building's interior and exterior.
  
  The Service, Parasole Catering, and Team (led by Jodi) was absolutely outstanding. Our guests left our wedding incredibly pleased with the plated dinners and top-notch waitstaff and bartenders. We received multiple comments from our guests on how terrific the food was.
  
  Everyone on Jodi's staff was professional, friendly, and extremely flexible, especially on the big-day itself. The stress of a wedding can be overwhelming, but the entire staff and especially Jodi (the Catering Sales Manager) and Brandon (Complex Sales Coordinator) were terrific in accommodating our needs and helping to alleviate said stress.
  
  The guest rooms are clean, extremely comfortable, and super-modern. These are definitely some of the best, if not the best, hotel rooms in Downtown Minneapolis. Photographically, there are multiple spaces in the hotel which are unique and beautiful, from the Observation Deck, Prohibition Bar, Living Room Bar, and Great Room.
  
  There's a built-in history to the Foshay Tower, which is compelling and can't be found anywhere else in Downtown Minneapolis. If you're looking to have a downtown wedding, then look no further than the W Hotel Minneapolis Foshay. It's a remarkable space to host your event.

  After doing a lot of research on hotels, I chose the W Hotel to stay at with my husband on our wedding night. I'd spoken to a concierge who promised us late checkout at 4pm to relax the day after our wedding and enjoy the suite. He also offered to note on our reservation that it was our wedding night and to upgrade us if possible.
  
  Upon confirming the hotel the week of the wedding, we were told that we actually would be extended a late checkout an hour late at 1pm. We also found out that any special items we requested (chocolates, champagne, bottles of water, etc.) came with a over-priced tag and nothing would be offered complimentary.
  
  The room itself was fine. It was clean enough and designed very modernly. The tub was barely large enough to fit both of us.
  
  Overall, for staying at one of the higher priced downtown Minneapolis "luxury" hotels, I would've liked to see more from the W. We paid nearly $400 for a stay between 12am and 1pm and they didn't offer anything anymore special or luxurious than other hotels we stayed at for other wedding events. Save your money and stay at other hotels in the area with more reasonable price tags.
