Amazing experience - highly recommend!!

I could not recommend Volcanik Entertainment enough! I had attended a wedding that the team had DJ'd before and had an amazing time, but when it came to mine, what set Ashish and his team apart was their patience and understanding of our vision for our events. As our events approached, the team was super diligent of making sure all the small details were ironed out, and for the events themselves, delivered above and beyond what we could have expected! The music was so amazing, our guests and I could not stop dancing! Thank you Ashish and team for making our wedding events so fun and memorable!

Incredible DJ for Cross Cultural Wedding

DJ Volcanik and his team were incredible. They handled our half Hindu, half Jewish Shabbat/Baraat/Sangeet with so much care and energy. They kicked it off with an incredible Baraat on the pier outside the Hilton Penn's Landing that was live DJ'd from a cart. We did an untraditional Baraat with both the bride/groom participating in the Baraat and they were able to orchestrate it seamlessly.

During the event, they struck the perfect balance of music, mixing Indian and pop hits while also keeping both younger and older guests on the dance floor. We trusted them with our schedule management and they did an extraordinary job of keeping the entire evening flowing seamlessly.

Most importantly, the actual mixing was outstanding. The music transitions were incredible and they kept the dance floor energy high for hours. I could not recommend DJ Volcanik and his team more.

Excellent DJ and Emcee for Blended Faith Wedding

DJ Ashish and his team performed incredibly for our multi-day, multi-event, big fat Indian wedding. They were truly great - energetic, lively, understand all Indian weddings and customs, and helped the non-Indians feel very comfortable throughout the entire weekend! Recommend them fully. Great value and especially delivered on all fronts DURING the weekend and helped everyone keep calm in the chaos!

Amazing team to work with!

We absolutely loved having DJ Volcanik at our wedding events! Their team is very easy to work with and they are very organized! Their planning and organization shines on the day of the events. They are very detail oriented and their priority is to bring your vision to life and cater the music to match the vibe of your guests! They truly go out of their way to make your event a success. At our ceremony, there was a delay due to weather issues and their team walked through the venue with their portable speakers and music to make sure the guests stay entertained during the delay! They are super reliable and we never had to worry about mistakes on their end! We would recommend their team 100% and we are so lucky we had them at our wedding!

Amazing team!

Cannot thank the Volcanik team enough for making our wedding reception at Bell Works, NJ a memorable one! DJ Rahul & MC Sorab were an excellent duo and did an amazing job at bringing the energy, creating a lively atmosphere, and keeping our guests dancing ALL night long. We mainly wanted a good balance of Tamil, Hindi, and English songs to cater to all our guests, and they were very attentive to our request and delivered the perfect mix. The team is very experienced, easy to work with, and made sure our event was organized and ran smoothly. Highly recommend them!!

Great team!

We had the Volcanik team at our wedding events (sangeet, wedding, reception). This crew brings a very positive, kind, and calming presence. But that being said, they're also fun and know how to create the best party atmosphere! They're very professional, organized, and experienced. They guided us and provided awesome suggestions to help things flow, as well as set easy to follow guidelines on what we can do to help them succeed (i.e. sending event schedules, dance mixes, etc.). We never had to worry about them during the whole weekend as they had everything covered and taken care of. I would definitely recommend hiring this team!

Where do we begin, we don't have enough words to thank you. Everyone had a blast and good things to say about you guys. From the garba to the reception, our guests couldn't stop dancing. Please thank the dj and mc from our garba. Raghav's family and friends from California couldn't stop saying good things about you guys. We loved the dholi that you brought for us at the events. Our dance floor was a hit at the reception, nobody seemed to want to get off the dance floor. Thank you for everything, we have a lifetime of memories to cherish forever. Excellent Team

Our destination wedding would not have complete without Hemant and Rahul. They were attentive to our requests and ofcourse knew exactly how to get the crowd dancing. The Perfect Destination Wedding!

DJ Volcanik really helped make our dream destination wedding exactly what we wanted. They really valued our music taste and incorporated everything we wanted, from must-plays, do-not-plays, and general vibes we wanted at each of our events. Biggest shoutout to Ashish and Hemant for coming to Cancun for our wedding and rocking ALL weekend long. We got sooo many compliments from friends on how amazing the music was at all 3 of our events (Sangeet, Wedding, Reception) and we felt so happy with our decision to book them. Phenomenal people, would def hire again!

My husband and I were supposed to get married in 2020, but even after 3 date changes, Volcanik Entertainment were super accommodating and understanding about this! An experience that was out of this world!

From the beginning it was clear that Volcanik and Rahul were special. They treated you and talked to you like they were your own family. Rahul was encouraging and extremely flexible. We were making edits all over the place the weeks and days before and not once did it alter his ability to do an amazing job! Everything he did was executed perfectly. He clearly works so hard and balances everything out amazingly. He recommends things which worked out perfectly for us! Truly talented

We are so happy that we chose Audiorah to DJ our wedding events. He is truly talented at what he does and has a unique DJing style that we absolutely love! Weddings in the time of Corona

We originally had booked the team for the typical 500 person Indian wedding, but the script was flipped with the pandemic and settled on a 50 person wedding with countless precautions in place (masks, hand sanitizers, prior covid testing, etc). The group was incredibly flexible in adjusting the contract and were gracious enough to offer the deposit back if nothing was to be pursued. Obviously, we moved forward and I'm as thrilled as one can be with the circumstances. I'm a "hey can you play this song" x 10 annoying type of person, but they took my song suggestions prior to the event and played nearly all of the 25 that I requested. They had variety of music (Hip-Hop, Pop, Rock, EDM and of course all types of Indian) and were able to appropriately turn up and down the party as necessary. If music was the sole decision to pick an organization, this is a no brainer

Outside of the music, they played an integral part of maintaining flow, reminding guests to wear masks when groups got too large and to respect distance when that got too close. There was no ego, no awkward conversations--everything was just easy. I don't know how things will turn out in a pre-vaccine world, but know that if you are planning on having a wedding, safely, and need people that have already done this and will make all the guests get in the mood, this is the organization who (whom?) you should choose.

Unreal night - he threw the best party of our lives!

Oh man. Rahul from Volcanik was truly incredible. I had see him DJ my friend's wedding a few years before, and was blown away by the party he threw. I had never seen an Indian wedding light up the dance floor the way it did when he DJ'd, and when it came time for my wedding I knew I wanted him to DJ. He went above and beyond, provided advice and help far beyond just DJing, provided sparklers to light the dance floor alive, and threw the best party we could have ever asked for! We had countless people come up to us and ask who our DJ was after the wedding and were recommending him left and right. I can truly say he became our friend, and we will never forget the party he threw that night. Music makes your reception - this is a vendor I would never ever settle for less than the best you can get - and Rahul is the best!

Best DJ we could have asked for!

We hired Rahul and Volcanik Entertainment for our wedding weekend and they completely exceeded all of our expectations! Over the span of 2 days he DJ'd our Sangeet, Baraat, Wedding Ceremony, Cocktail hour and Reception - each event sounding flawless. We shared ideas of what we wanted the music to sound like at each event and he took those suggestions and completely blew us and our guests away with his ability to read the crowd and hit the exact vibes we were going for. Leading up to the wedding, it was very easy to communicate with Rahul - he was always prompt in responding to our questions, offered plenty of ideas, and was flexible in helping with any changes we needed along the way. Volcanik Entertainment goes above and beyond to make sure you and your guests have an amazing experience; I would (and have) highly recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ!

Couldn't have picked a better DJ for our wedding!

If I could give these guys 100 stars I would. We hired Hemant and Ashish to DJ the reception for our destination wedding, and we did not give them an easy task: We wanted a 6-hour reception with music the whole time, and we needed a broad enough assortment of music that my husband's (Indian) family, my family (from North Carolina), and our friends (from all over, with strong musical opinions) could all appreciate. These guys spent months preparing for our event based on our playlist and do-not-play lists and managed to somehow merge music from both cultures in a way that flowed nicely and kept everyone on the dance floor until last song! They even spun a few songs on vinyl!!! All of our guests are still talking about how eclectic the music was and how epic our reception was - and I really don't think we could have pulled this off with any other DJ. I'd recommend these guys to anyone, Volcanik are absolute pros.

Coming from a DJ, these guys are amazing

I hired DJ Volcanik for my wedding because I loved some remixes he made back when I was 10 years old, which I continue to play till this day. After speaking with him, I gained confidence that he would do an excellent job for my entire wedding weekend. Sure enough, Ashish and Nik did not disappoint one bit. As a DJ myself, I was very particular about the music I wanted played for each event (Pre-sangeet, sangeet, baraat, wedding, reception, NY reception etc.). We needed a lot of bhangra, hindi and hip hop and they played it all beautifully. The team made every effort to play all the songs I requested (which were a lot) and this was very much appreciated. I ran back to the dancefloor multiple times as I kept hearing different favorites being dropped. I even got to DJ for a little while. They mixed in their own music too, which we all loved. The songs they picked post speeches were 100% on point as well. Through and through, Volcanik entertainment did an amazing job and I would recommend them to anyone that seriously cares about music.

Blown Away!!

We requested Rahul at our destination wedding!! Ours was a mixed Indian and Latin wedding and let me tell you...Rahul did the most amazing job mixing these two genres of music!! Not to mention the groom and I love hip hop, 90s freestyle music, and ending our wedding with Bohemian Rhapsody! He mixed us every playlist for all 3 days of events and for the 2 wedding ceremonies! Indian wedding ceremonies need a DJ who is knowledgeable on what music to play during certain parts to keep people’s attention and to keep people engaged! He knew exactly what to play to get the party going. He was professional in all his emails and answered any and all questions in a timely manner. His MC skills were phenomenal, which also got the guests energy up and excited to dance at all events! Would not have dreamed of a better music man for our wedding! Great job!!

Amazing! Highly recommended!

We hired Rahul to DJ our wedding reception, and he was the perfect choice! I knew he was going to be amazing because he was awesome at my best friend's wedding a few years ago, but he far exceeded my expectations. People still tell us that it was the most fun wedding and dance party they've ever attended. The lighting and music were perfect, and he did a great job of reading the crowd and keeping the energy up all night long. I don't think we sat down once all night because every song was so great. No one wanted the night to end. All I wanted was for people to dance and to have fun, and that is exactly what happened. Rahul was so easy and fun to work with. He was very responsive and delivered exactly what we wanted. We would definitely hire him again!

Perfect Experience!

We hired Rahul as the DJ for our wedding and we could not be happier! He was super helpful every step of the way, and capped it with an incredible performance at the reception!
- He helped with picking entrance songs as well as cutting/editing songs for a Sangeet performance.
- MULTIPLE people came to us afterwards and said this was the best baraat they had ever seen. And @dholisaag kept the party going!
- Most importantly, the music at the reception was amazing! We gave him some idea ahead of time on the type of music we liked and he took it and ran with it. The dance floor was packed from the whole night! The transitions were seamless and the intelligent lighting was the cherry on top.
If I could do it all over again, I WOULD NOT CHANGE A THING. We got so many compliments from our guests on how fabulous DJ Rahul was. Thank you so much!!!

Best DJ ever!!

We hired DJ Rahul for multiple wedding events over the span of three days. He exceeded our expectations!! We had a mix of American and Indian guests and he catered to both!! I would highly recommend Rahul with DJ Volcanik. Everything from his lightening to DJing was absolutely amazing. We hired him for multiple events and he did such a great job. A little over a month and we are still receiving comments on how amazing our DJ was. My husband and I were thrilled with the results. The dance floor was completely full until 1am! We hired Volcanik for our wedding and we got a DJ + a party planner all in one. To start, Hemant guided me throughout the planning, from helping me create the romantic setting I had envisioned for the reception to making custom monograms for us. The Dhol-Player, the colorful smoke-bombs during Baraat, our live band during cocktail hour (The Young Picassos), the LED dance floor and the sparklers for the Reception were some of the highlights. We had engaged Ashish and his team for total 5 events for our son's wedding in August 2018 at Bridgewater, NJ. Ashish & team stepped-up the experience for our guests through every event, starting from pre-wedding events to Baraat to Wedding to Reception, matching the mood of every event. The dance floor was always full throughout the event/s with 400 guests which is not an easy feat. We received raving compliments from our guest on how great the music was. The Dhol-Player, the colorful smoke-bombs in Baraat, the LED dance floor and the sparklers for the Reception were some of the highlight of their services. Ashish and his team is Well-organized, top and true professionals and super courteous in communication. What we have been able to accomplish, picture-perfect experience, would not have been possible without Ashish and his team. Volcanic Entertainment is the best in the business.

Ashish and his team at Volcanik Entertainment were amazing to work with. Ashish took the time to get to know both my new wife and I and our style differences. Coming from different cultural and religious backgrounds, we were used to very different types of wedding ceremonies and receptions, but Ashish was able to take those two and build into a beautiful collaboration! How often do you get to hear a range of music from today’s hip-hop, rock, pop, bollywood, all the way to Hank Williams Jr. :-)

We are so thankful for the time he took from the moment we chose him as our entertainment specialist all the way through the delivery of the final product! Our guests were on their feet all night long thanks to the production by Ashish and Volcanik Enyertainment!! Thank you for everything!

Rahul and Volcanik did an amazing job for our South Asian wedding. From the baraat to the mandap to the reception, they were able to gauge our needs, match the mood, and adapt seamlessly. Their open communication and easy going nature was exactly what we needed in the planning phases. They took all our requests into account and even accommodated our last minute request to set up a white dance floor for the reception. We received so many compliments on how great the music was and how all guests of various ages were able to mesh in and enjoy the dance floor. Moreover, the dance floor was always packed as people felt the energy of the evening through the amazing set. We do really appreciate meeting with you before the reception and running through the evening because that really helped make sure the final details were in place. Finally, we really do feel like you bring something special to your brand by how personable the entire operation is. You remembered that we are big fans of Demi Lovato and tried to work her in to the evening. It shows the effort you make to really make the evening enjoyable for each couple and we won’t forget that. Ashish and his team are no less then AMAZING. The party literally kept going till 1 am and his team made it all an amazing experience for not only my husband and I but also all the guests who attended the event on June 24, 2018 at Dover Downs. I can't thank Ashish and his team enough for the diligent work ethic, professional and of course amazing DJ skills they put forth. I would also recommend using Volcanik entertainment for pyrotechnics and starlight dance floor b/c they have delivered a wonderful setup for these two things as well.

I am super picky with the genre of music I listen to (dark techno!) and Ashish & Nik took that and ran with it. Given techno's underground and intimidating sound, I wasn't sure how they were going to get the whole crowd engaged. They proved me so wrong... they had PARENTS jammin out to dark, deep techno. CRAZY! They have a sixth sense when it comes to reading the crowd.

Ashish is an extremely professional and well-spoken person and working with him was a pleasure. He was super transparent, detail-oriented and confident in the company's ability to provide the best customer experience possible. Not to mention, a phenomenally eloquent emcee!

Nik was also very involved in making sure he had all the songs, timings & drops cued up. He played garba and Bollywood for the beginning of the dance floor, which also had the whole room at a crazy high energy level.

I HIGHLY recommend Volcanik for your next event. They are personally committed to making sure your event runs as smoothly as possible. Thank you!

We know Rahul through my family and have always heard good things. Last year, we used Volcanik for our engagement party - all of our guests raved about Rahul's music and talent, so we felt excited to use him again for our wedding and he did not disappoint! When we had to move our wedding from its original location in Puerto Rico to South Florida at the last minute, Volcanik Entertainment (specifically Rahul in our case) went above and beyond to assure us we would still have a great wedding (which we did!). Rahul helped us search other vendors as well in Florida, which was very helpful! We loved working with him and his team. Volcanik was with us all weekend long - from the lighting on our welcome night which was set outdoors, to the music at our respective pithis, Dholi at our garba, pujas at the ceremony, to tearing up the dance floor at our reception, and finally, even adding some jams to our after party - we could not have asked for a better DJ! Thanks Volcanik (and Rahul!!) for keeping the party going all weekend long and being so incredible to work with!

From the onset, my wife and I made a decision that having the right DJ was one the most important aspects of our wedding. With that mentality, we contacted many vendors, and most told the same story about how they were going to “crush your wedding”, which admittedly, most vendors would do. The difference with the Volcanik team was their professionalism, experience, and most importantly their humanness. Every step of the way they helped us in navigating the wedding process, and really worked with us as partners, rather than a box to check off.

Hemant, Rahul, Nik, and the Volcanik team out-delivered all of our expectations and one of the best team to work with during planning phase (they will not disappoint). They did a phenomenal job for all of our events and ensure they had answered all of our concerns during wedding planning phase. Hemant took our vision to the next level and blew our minds away when we finally saw how well each of our events were executed. Our guests could not stop raving about my husbands baraat experience through open-air truck (GMC Elite Pickup Truck) while the DJ mixing live from a truck along with mic’d up Dhole Player.

The reception lighting and music set-up were beyond our imagination, and all of our guests were amazed. Hemant planned few surprises such as having Caribbean style Steel Drum player and live DJ during cocktail hours along with LED Dance Floor. The other surprises were Hemant’s vision on executing lighting experience where it felt like our reception hall was transformed into high-end Las Vegas-style Lounge. Our reception was supposed to end at 12Midnight, but all of our guests didn’t want to leave the dance floor because of the music, so we ended up extending until 1:30AM on Sunday evening. This goes to show their commitment towards our guest and to provide truly the best experience. We are confident that many of our guests will be calling Volcanik for their DJing needs. Through the wedding planning process, we had looked at various vendors within this category, but the Volcanik stood out from the rest for their professionalism, pricing, and vision they want it to execute for us. If you’re looking for the best experience, we HIGHLY recommend Volcanik team, and you will not be disappointed for sure.

Working with Ashish and his team was such a wonderful and smooth experience! They were one of the easiest vendors to work and communicate with. Ashish was very responsive to all our inquiries and was always willing to make time to speak with us any time we had a question. He was more than helpful with working with us to create a timeline which allowed our reception to flow beautifully. Ashish and Arbab (our DJ) were energetic and able to keep our guests happy and on the dance floor all night long. Neal and Shiv were wonderful in helping with all the technical details with our dry ice machine and confetti launcher, which allowed us to take our reception to another level. For weeks after, guests kept telling us how much fun they had with Navdeep, our dhol player, as well as how great the music selection was the entire night. The night was a blur to be sure, but having our guests tell us for months afterwards how much fun they had on the dance floor is a true testament to the quality of Volcanik Entertainment's work!

I am so incredibly happy that we decided to work with Rahul for our wedding weekend. It was a bit unconventional since we had DJs and Dhol player that were contracted outside of Volcanik, but Rahul was an absolute pleasure to work with. From day one, he was so detail-oriented with our sound for our event planning - texts, phone calls, emails within a few days and everything was figured out. There were absolutely NO mistakes or glitches for the entire weekend - from everything to working in an outdoor tent space for the Sangeet to the mobile golf cart baraat - Rahul and his team worked flawlessly. I could not recommend Volcanik any more, it was an absolute pleasure to work with them for our wedding weekend in Orlando. Rahul, you're the best!

DJ Rahul was incredible. He was extremely responsive during the planning stages and accommodating as the days approached. He was available for multiple phone conversations to finalize the plan prior to the wedding events. He made sure that he played our favorite garba songs. He had the Barat dancing the whole way down and was ready to play the different music selections during our wedding ceremony. The reception ran smoothly with his MC that was provided and the dance floor was never empty. There was non stop dancing for about 3-4 hours and everyone had a blast. Would definitely recommend DJ Rahul and his team to any future bride and groom.

A+ quality from start to finish. Rahul and Arbab were phenomenal all day during our wedding and reception. Their Baarat setup got the mood going for the day with upbeat tunes and great emceeing. The wedding music made the ceremony ambiance perfect and the reception was the icing on the cake. Quality equipment meant great sound, plenty of lights and their mixing and announcing was dead on point. Rahul and his team were phenomenal! Rahul was involved in the pre-planning process for our wedding celebrations way in advance, with multiple phone calls and email exchanges, illustrating how detail oriented and personal attention he offers. He offered many great ideas for music as well as lightning that we incorporated into our events, and were very happy with. Rahul provided DJ services for our pre-wedding cocktail evening, with perfect outdoor, ambient music. When our venue forced us to move inside due to unforeseen issues, Rahul accommodated seamlessly, was quickly re-setup indoors, and kept the party going. The wedding baraat, ceremony and reception events were also very well done. All of our guests are still complimenting us on Rahul, Ashish (MC), and the teams organization, professionalism, quality of music, and amazing ability to cater to all type of crowds. As I am ready to book Volcanik Entertainment again for another event, I realized that I never did write them a review from our wedding. We met Ashish & Hemant back when they DJ'ed our engagement party. They did such an incredible job that we immediately decided they would be our DJs for all our wedding events. There aren't enough praises I could sing for the entire Volcanik team. From the get-go, Ashish became invested in understanding our entire vision for the wedding - not just our taste in music. They went above and beyond to make a custom up-lighting stencil of our invitation monogram and absolutely nailed it. It goes without saying that these guys know their music; they work the crowd like no other DJ out there. I'll admit that I can be very picky with what I expect to hear at a party so I was obviously going to be even pickier when it came to my wedding (Ashish put up with me like a champ LOL); they did not play a single song we didn't want to hear. The dhol was nothing less than AMAZING at the baraat and reception. Thank you guys so so so so so much for absolutely killing it and being so awesome.

Hemant and Ashish DJ'd and helped MC our Sangeet, Wedding and Reception in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. They were amazing! We were so happy and grateful that we hired them. Hemant was very responsive to text/emails. Easy to get a hold of and willing to meet in person. He offered song suggestions and got to know our taste and guests list so he could accommodate the music. The day of our Sangeet, it started to rain and our event was outside. Hemant and team were great about working with the wedding planners to figure out an alternative location that would accommodate us and even helped set up the venue! They truly are hands on and so great at their jobs. We were so worried about mixing our melting pot of friends but literally we had everyone on the dance floor the whole night of our reception! TLDR: Rahul & Nik were extremely organized, accessible, and professional and had an awesome set list catered for 3 events (no repeats of songs over a couple days!) I constantly received compliments on how amazing the DJ was.

Review:

Rahul & Nik were DJs for my wedding in West Palm Beach for both my Sangeet, Ceremony & the Reception (3 separate events). They did such a phenomenal job on all 3 events, that we specifically received compliments on how awesome the DJ & music was.

Leading up to the wedding I had emailed Rahul a bunch and had a couple phone calls with him to hammer out the music details (what kind I wanted for each event, specific songs etc). He was always immediately accessible and responsive and, despite some disorganization on my & my family's end, was able to organize and get everything together.

On our Sangeet night, we had a bunch of performances (around 11/12) & Rahul worked with all the performers to make sure the music and sound worked (some were singing, some were dancing, some were playing instruments, Rahul sound checked them all). Despite the chaos of an Indian event, the performances went off in a timely manner & the final two hours were for dancing and Rahul & Nik did an AWESOME job. Everyone was dancing and had such a great time.

For the reception, same deal. We had a couple surprise performances. Equipment for the speeches worked flawlessly, & the music kept everyone going until 1 am.

For my ceremony, we had specific songs we wanted him to play and sent it via google drive from a CD. Rahul double checked that everything worked & him & Nik were able to gather everything to play exactly how we wanted.

I hired DJ Volcanik for my wedding and they were absolutely phenomenal! All of our guests were so pleased with the music and entertainment provided by Rahul and his team. DJ Volcanik was the best vendor choice I could make. He kept the dance floor going all night, we were sad when it came time to stop the party. Hemant and Rahul of DJ Volcanik were hands the down the easiest and the most fun vendor for our wedding to deal with. They did a great job for all of our events and put our mind at ease for the entire process. They were also the most flexible when it came to how we wanted things laid out and gave us some great suggestions along the way, I think they did more planning for us for their portion than we actually did, (which made planning that much easier). Great value for the price, very professional and even had a few great surprises throughout our reception, that we had no idea that were coming. Rahul and his team were the BEST! Not only did he play exactly the type of music we wanted for our 2 day event, but he also worked with my brother (without my knowledge) to put on a surprise performance for me and my husband! He was amazing at mixing throwback songs with new music! He also made sure to play a few Indian songs to keep my parents and their friends happy!! He also did some of our uplighting that looked incredible and stuck within our price range!

In addition to setting up a playlist for our afterparty, Rahul went above and beyond to make sure that we and our guests all had an incredible time! All of friends that are getting married are asking for DJ Rahul's info and people still remember our welcome dinner, reception, and afterparty for the music! I would highly recommend DJ Rahul and his team to all looking for a DJ that will go above and beyond!

We love Volcanik!! We had a 2-day event including sangeet, baraat, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Rahul, Hemant, Nik, and Pratik were truly the dream team! From start to finish, they kept the music going, entertained the crowd, and left a lasting impression that had our guests asking for their contact information! I was in touch with Rahul during the planning period, and he returned my e-mails and phone calls in a timely manner and gave us very reasonable pricing. He was incredibly helpful - a week before the event, I was having trouble creating the music medley for some dance performances, and he offered to do it for me and sent it to me within 10 min of our conversation. He also spent a lot of time discussing with me the details of each day and event to ensure that he understood our style and catered to that. The custom monograms were beautiful, and Rahul made sure that they were displayed on time in different locations. They played great upbeat music for the baraat, and Pratik kept the crowd going with the dhol. Hemant was a very charismatic MC and kept the guests laughing and entertained on both nights. Rahul and Nik were on point with their DJing skills, and so many of our guests raved about how great the music was. Despite being our DJs for both nights, they didn't repeat songs (unless requested to!). We really had wonderful experience and would recommend them without hesitation!

BEST.DJ.EVER! Honestly, Rahul made sure nobody left the dance floor! He played the best mixes and reminded us of college (which I asked him to do). I'm Indian, but I have a very diverse group of friends so he didn't stick to the generic Indian music. Rahul met with us 2 weeks before the wedding to hashed out all the details. He made sure to ask any questions beforehand and he completely delivered on the day of the wedding and reception. He also worked with our price range, which really helped. He played all our special requests and helped make the wedding a success. I still have people asking about him and talking about the reception. I would recommend him to anyone.

We had a great experience with DJ Volcanik and his team. They were very professional the entire time and assured me not to worry about anything and they would take care of it. We made some last minute changes to music etc and Volcanik was very professional and assured me it would not be a problem at all. He was so easy to work with and listened to every detail that I asked for. I am a DJ as well and he let me DJ for a bit at my own reception which was really fun. I have worked with many DJ vendors and by far Volcanik is the best. He plays anything you want to hear and his transition in music is stellar. I highly recommend him if you want a REAL DJ. He and his team are not wedding DJ's at all. I felt like I was at a party and that's the experience we wanted to have.

These guys are absolutely amazing! Hemant and his crew took care of all of the music and lighting for our garba, baraat, wedding, and reception. They went the extra mile and ensured that everything ran smoothly for us. Hemant made time out of his schedule on multiple occasions to meet with us and plan out our events. He even gave us advice outside of music and entertainment in the midst of our wedding planning.

We really can't emphasize how much fun our family and friends had during our wedding weekend. Hemant is a great MC and really knows how to keep the crowd energetic. The music selection was great and they were very receptive to what we wanted. They really knew how to keep the dance floor packed which is what you want at your reception! Also, the lighting they provided was absolutely stunning and blew us away.

DJ Volcanik (Ashish) and his crew did an amazing job for our 2 day event (Garba, Baarat, Wedding Ceremony, and Reception) in Wilmington, Delaware. Ashish was extremely helpful from the beginning until the very end. He helped us with much more than DJ related items. For example he got us in contact with the starlit dance floor literally (hours) before the reception. Our original vendor couldn't deliver what we ordered, and we asked Ashish less than a week before the reception. The turn around time for that and when we needed it was virtually impossible, but he somehow found the way. Without his support and his previous experience, we would have definitely not had the perfect wedding weekend. His music, sound quality, mc'ing, lighting, his crew was greatly above expectations. Ra (Rahul), Nik and Hemant did an absolutely great job from pre-wedding to the day off entertainment! I had an easy time communicating my ideas to the team and being able to request songs etc. The most memorable part was the baraat when they played all the music requested by the groom and even though it was the hottest day ever, everyone danced their butts off! The team did a great job from their set-up area to every single song that was played not only at the reception, but during the wedding as well. Full disclosure: we are very skeptical of event DJs. We’ve been to one too many parties with cheesy, greasy DJs who seem to think that everybody wants to hear "Celebration" and do the "YMCA".

Volcanik Entertainment shattered our assumption. First, Ashish was totally responsive to our "do not play" list ("Oh What a Night" topped the list), and asked very logical questions ("well, what do you like?"). The result was one of the best DJ'd events we've ever been a part of -- not an easy feat for a reception with a mixed crowd of young folks and older Indian relatives. He managed to respond to our taste in Western music while also playing a terrific mix of old and new Indian music to keep the dance floor bumping.

Second, he was a do-er, and just made things happen. Microphone doesn't fit on mic stand? No worries, he's got duct tape. Bassist forgot to bring a 9 volt battery? No worries, he apparently keeps spares in his pocket. Whenever there was the slightest hiccup at all, Ashish calmly solved the problem. In a room full of demanding aunties and uncles, getting things done was crucial.

For an awesome, non-cheesy time, we highly recommend Volcanik and will be going back to them.

Rahul and Hemant were phenomenal. From start to finish we were thoroughly impressed. The uplighting that Rahul did transformed our wedding and reception into this majestic space. The Baraat was nothing short of a blast, their moving sound system and Dhol player definitely added the fun to the start of our wedding. My husband and our guests were dancing more than I could have ever expected. Our out of town guests told us that they had never seen a procession like that. Rahul and his team were so easy to work with and were full of great ideas to enhance our reception experience. Rahul's team Sourav and Jimmy did a phenomenal job. Sourav calibrated the music to fit our unique fusion wedding (Indian and Irish). The dance floor was constantly alive with people, dancing and reveling in the moment. The guest were out of breadth and could not stop talking about how long it's been since they danced like they did. The music was beyond amazing. It was addictive. I can't believe it went by so fast... But when your having so much fun.. You know what they say. If your looking for tailor made level of services on your day, then Volcanik is a must! Having a mixed culture celebration can be a very stressful experience. Our engagement party was a complete embarrassment in the entertainment factor. It got to the point where I had to get CD’s from my car to give to the DJ to play some West Indian music. From that moment we knew we needed to research and sample DJ groups for our wedding. After meeting with a few DJs and sampling their work we choose Hemant. Their 80’s mixtape really impressed me, it’s actually still in my car 4 years later and my kids and I jam out to it. I guarantee it will be there 10 years from now. At our first meeting I made it abundantly clear that for our engagement the DJ said he had West Indian music and he showed up with maybe 20 songs. Hemant’s jaw dropped in astonishment and made it very clear that he has a vast repertoire of genres in his music collection and ensured that if we chose to use his services we would not be disappointed. Hemant even created a mix for one of the cousin’s dance based off of the timings and tracks that were supplied to him. On the wedding day, Volcanik Entertainment group showed up early, and prepped their setup and verified exactly what we wanted was to our satisfaction. And in all honest it was and so much more!!! The Baraat was amazing my family thoroughly enjoyed the dhol player that Hemant provided. The microphone setup was very clear during the wedding ceremony, and the music queues were accurate for each of the events.
In my personal opinion Hemant and Nik went above and beyond for the reception. The lighting setup was incredible! The TV screens were placed perfectly that you can view them but they weren’t in the way. The speakers were not just the biggest that you could find and throw around the room, he really did invest in quality speakers and equipment. I’ve been to parties where the subwoofers were so loud that I became annoyed. But the way Volcanik placed the speakers it was almost like you didn’t notice they were there but it so filled the room

Choosing Volcanik as my wedding DJ/emcee was the BEST choice for my intercultural/fusion wedding! With an Indian-American bride and African-American Groom, we wanted to ensure that the music was reflective of both of our families and cultures. We needed Bhangra, we needed Line Dancing, and we needed a skilled DJ who had just the right amount of 'swagger' to pull it off. :)

Communication: I met Hemant at the South Asian Bridal Expo in Springfield, Virginia and stayed in touch. Two months later, he was DJ'ing a wedding in the DC area and invited us to come out and see him at work. (In the interim, I did speak with SEVERAL DC based Desi DJs, and they just didn't impress me.) My husband and I really liked Hemant's professionalism, style and skill.

Baraat: WAS AMAZING! We did a full mobile Baraat package (with dhol player), and Hemant and Nik ROCKED it. As my husband (and his family/friends) had never participated in a Baraat, Nik guided the groom's side into the best "block party" of their lives! Groom arrived on a horse, while the groomsmen added their own flair, by wearing tuxedos and throwing boomboxes on their shoulders. It was a wonderful display of fusion styles, just as we had hoped.

Ceremony: Hemant was familiar with our venue, Renaissance Capital View, which made the set up very smooth. We had an intercultural ceremony (first half American, second half Indian). He played various English wedding entrance songs yet switched over to Shehnai music when needed. He knew the appropriate songs to play at the right moments. It was helpful to us because he needed minimal instructions!

Reception: Everything was perfect. We had the gobo light with our names/date, and the room was beautiful. Hemant did a great job emceeing and he kept the crowd excited. Once the party/dancing started, he played a great mix of music and we danced the night away. Our guests still tell us that it was the best wedding they've attended! We are so happy that we chose Volcanik!!

My husband and I chose Ashish from Dj Volcanik for music and lighting for all of our wedding events. From start to finish I couldn't have asked for a more patient and entertaining DJ. Most DJs are hard to get in touch with and don't give you to much input into your event. This wasn't the case with Ashish, he was beyond helpful from helping pick songs, colors for lighting, monograms and even showing me new ideas to make my lighting different to others, he even helped me with my timeline, and was more than patient when I sent him 101 changes daily!

The day of my garba Ashish and his team arrived on time and set up the lighting and their equipment, the lighting was perfect and the crowd didn't stop dancing until the party was over. The next morning we had our Baraat where Ashish set his equipment up on the back of a truck and was spinning the most upbeat music that got the crowd going. He even allowed my husband and some of his family onto the truck to dance, even with all of his expensive equipment right there! During the wedding he played all the right songs at the right time which set a perfect mood for my husband and I. Lastly we come to the reception, when ashish kept me calm with the last minute performance we had, and even surprised us with a cake sparkler as I forgot our cake topper! When I walked into that room I was shocked and amazed on how amazing the room looked. I must say the lighting made the room glow!! There wasn't a moment where the dance floor wasn't full even at 1am, from aunties and uncles to little kids, all ages!! He played all kinds of music that made everyone happy. He kept the crowed pumped and took any song request our family and friends asked for.

To this day people comment on how amazing the music and lighting was at our wedding and that hands down goes to Ashish. I wouldn't have ever chosen another Dj and now I am sure my family and friends will only be using Ashish for all of their events. Thank you so much for all you did!

We met with Ashish from the beginning. He always had great advice, timelines, and helped bounce ideas back and forth. We had a typical Indian wedding starting with garba. Everyone had fun! The music was great not only during garba but kept the party going during breaks. During the Bharaat, we used the moving van and people are still talking about it. Everyone was pumped! The wedding had appropriate music and they were always paying attention in case we needed anything. The reception was a blast! Music had a good variety for young, old and everyone in middle. The part that stood out most was they were on top of everything! We needed to change the order of speeches/dances and they did it on their own and coordinated with the participants. They made sure the next group was ready or made appropriate changes. It was awesome to work with a responsible team.

I chose Volcanik for DJ/Lighting/and Baraat Music for our wedding in DC and can't be happier with that decision! Hemant is incredibly professional, talented, and hilarious - the perfect combination to keep a bride sane ;)

We spoke a few times leading up to the wedding so he could gather my expectations and he made great suggestions along the way. Hemant and Nick also came down for a site visit which was incredibly sweet and helped the process (don't worry if you're a bride that doesn't have time for many vendor visits though - I'm confident that Hemant/Sumeet would have been able to get it perfect from our conversations alone too). Hemant also worked well with our hotel sales staff to make sure he got everything he needed without stepping outside of our contract.

On the days of our events, I was taken away by how fantastic everything looked. Our lighting was incredibly unique, it was everything I wanted, and he went above our expectations. Since I was able to see our ballroom set-up before our Reception, he came over to check that it was set up correctly -- and it was! No changes needed...and that was huge for me bc I had a very specific vision.

What stole the show aside from lighting, was their music. To this day, my husband and his friends/family talk about how amazing the energy, music, and set-up of the Baraat was. I wouldn't go with anyone other than these guys ever for dhol and their DJ set up on the truck bed!!

For our reception, Hemant was a great MC - making sure he could pronounce everyone's name correctly - and keeping the program flowing and energy level high. Our dance music was perrrrfectly tailored to us too. We loved it, and the dance floor was never empty.

The members of Volcanik Entertainment did a wonderful job. We had previously requested very specific music types to fit the cultures of our wedding party and guests - It was an American/West Indian wedding. Working with Hemant from Volcanik was great! Leading up to the wedding, he came to meet with me and review the entire day's festivities and what music we were looking to include during the ceremony and reception. He had great suggestions for entry songs, ceremony music, and reception music. He made sure our exact preferences were included, that he had the right detailed itinerary with timing and songs, and from there, he took care of the rest. The night went flawlessly!

If we wrote a dream list of what we wanted out of a DJ, we wouldn't have even known to list some of the things DJ Volcanik did for us. These guys were exceptional and we will - and do! - unquestionably recommend them.

From start to finish, Ashish guided us, advised us and just kept us company through the process. We had a mixed wedding (half Indian-American, half Eastern European-American) that brought together people from New Jersey, Pittsburgh, another 10 states and four countries abroad. We needed music that would stitch all those people and all those cultures together across several events and Ashish and Saurav painstakingly did that pitch perfectly. The Baraat, or Groom's Procession, may be a traditional Indian thing, but at our wedding, the American groom and his side raucously owned it - thanks to Saurav's excellent leading and music selection. The music before, during and after the ceremony was flawlessly timed. At the cocktail hour, the music was the ideal ambient noise that encouraged mingling and conversation and during the reception, Saurav got so many of the 300 guests dancing that one of our guests tweeted, "Best wedding DJ ever!"

Outside of the music, Ashish created a beautiful logo to put on the wall of our ballroom. He set a beautiful scene w/ gorgeous LED lights, he used spotlights and roving heads to show off our Mandap, us on our first dance and our family during toasts. He helped us put together a soundtrack to a very personal slideshow and he held our hands through the occasionally trying exercise of making an itinerary. He was a sounding board for months on a variety of topics and not once did he ever express annoyance or say, "This isn't my job!" After the wedding, he has still been a huge resource for us. He is even helping us put together music for the videographer!

The guys at DJ Volcanik are more than mere wedding DJs. If you're smart, you'll call them.

Hemant of Volcanik Entertainment was absolutely amazing. The music is one thing - playing the perfect mix of bollywood, house, hip hop and 80s/90s favorites. The attention to detail was flawless, communicating with us on the specific songs and genre of music we wanted during our reception. Above that, the lighting was surreal. Volcanik was able to set up various lighting to turn a rustic 50 year old venue into a absolutely stunning, gorgeous, contemporary room. His accessibility, responsiveness to phone calls, texts and emails, and approachability was truly professional. I can't thank Hemant and Volcanik Entertainment enough for helping make my wedding the best night of my life.

Hemant and the Volcanik team were exceptional - both at our engagement and wedding. I first met the Volcanik team at a friend’s wedding and used them for my engagement party and wedding reception. For both events, Hemant was extremely professional, responsive and, most importantly, easy to work with. He would ping us on the next ‘to dos’ to keep the process simple and to keep us on track for our special day. Additionally, he made a trip to the venue to go through logistics and, beyond that, advised us on non-DJ services (set up, lighting, decor and nuances in planning the event), considering our inexperience with planning large events.

On the day of the wedding, Hemant set the tone keeping everything on schedule, pumping up the crowd and making sure the event ran smoothly. He also thought of the small things, which could have been disastrous. For example, our venue forgot to provide us with a champagne toast; however, Hemant noticed this during the speech and brought us our champagne toast before the toast was given. This is just one example how Hemant experience proves invaluable and willingness to go beyond DJ’ing and emceeing.

I will continue to use Hemant for my future events and will recommend him and the Volcanik team to all of my family and friends. Hemant, thank you again for all your hard work and patience throughout the process; you and your team made our day exceptional.

From start to finish, Ashish (Volcanik Entertainment) provided excellent DJ services for our big day. His experience is obvious.

1. Baraat: Ashish provides an authentic dhol player and a van with a killer sound box, and they both play music in a coordinated way that flows well and gets people excited and dancing! He has also worked with a lot of the horse/carriage providers (my horse guy knew him on a first name basis) and so they already have a good working relationship that makes the whole procession go smoothly.

2. Wedding: The DJing for this was flawless. The songs we had selected for various segments played on queue always. The sound system set up in the wedding hall was excellent. He had already worked at our hotel, the Hanover Marriott, many times; the hotel event staff know him well and were happy we had chosen to work with him.

3. Reception: Everything was perfect about the night. Ashish did a great job of being the MC. As we waited outside for our entrance, we could feel the energy building up inside as DJ team got the crowd excited. The mixing and music for dancing time was top quality. And the light effects were awesome. Volkanik also provided a cool light gobo design of our names and event date to light up the ceiling.

Well before the wedding, Ashish made a point to ask us about our preferences about things. He was flexible in the planning, and he made sure that we were all on the same page about how the itinerary for the wedding events would be.

When you are hosting something as big as your wedding, it's important to choose people who are professional and have a good track record of delivering top service consistently.

Bottom line: We're very happy we chose Volkanik.

When going to any reception, what are the things that you note and comment the most on? Food, location, and ENTERTAINMENT. During our vendor selection, we wanted to find a reputable and experienced entertainment group to work with and provide a fun environment for all of our guests. We learned about Volcanik Entertainment through a family member and we are glad that we worked with them.

From the start, they were very professional and responsive to all of our questions that we had. Along with our supplied direction for our reception, they provided a great amount of their own creative input. At times where we did not know where to start, Volcanik took the time to guide us through the process and make sure that everyone was on board and happy. They gave us the comforting feeling of “been there and done that”. In addition, out of all other vendors we worked with, we felt that we did not have to follow up with them and direct them.

The result: Excellent MC’ing, lighting and music that you would probably only see at a famous NY or Miami night club. They drew incredible enthusiasm and energy during the entire night from the reception crowd. We received so many compliments from our guests on how good the entertainment was! Even as the newly married couple, who worked with Volcanik from the start and knew what our package included -- we were taken aback how well they put everything together.

The only complaints we ever heard was that peoples’ feet were hurting the next day because they danced so much…

Volcanik Entertainment, particularly Hemant and Nik, went up and beyond for our wedding. They did an amazing job with emceeing, lighting, and of course the music! They also often communicated with our venue manager and wedding planner to make sure the events went flawlessly. Hemant was amazing with the amount of thought he put into the day of our wedding -- he made sure everything went according to our schedule and even surprised us at the end with small party trinkets for our guests. Our reception was better than we imagined because they did such a great job with the lighting and kept our guests dancing all night with awesome music. Even now (almost a year and half later), people tell us how much fun they had and we continue to recommend them as a vendor. We would highly recommend Hemant and the whole Volcanik Entertainment team!!

These guys are professional, friendly, absolutely accessible via email at any time from booking to wedding day and totally made my wedding fabulous. Ashish was great throughout the planning process, from suggesting a wedding itinerary to picking out songs for introductions (which i told him to just wing it on the wedding day itself) to letting me know when i should walk down the aisle!! Seriously i have been to several weddings where all the pieces for a great party are right there and it falls apart because of the DJ or the MC. DJ volcanik was one of the best choices i made for our wedding and I am so grateful that i found them when i did. We even got them to add in glow sticks to our reception and when those came out the whole party went crazy. I have never seen so many "lightsaber" fights amongst children simultaneously. I found these guys during a dulhan fare and the only thing i was looking for in a vendor was someone young, professional, friendly, had a fresh feel and had a great voice (for MC-ing). These guys were everything that i needed and over the course of the planning Ashish maintained that feel and i never for a minute doubted that they would execute everything exactly. Also at the last minute our musical plan for the ceremony disintegrated and Ashish jumped right in and provided all the music for the ceremony although i gave him only a 48 hour notice. These guys are the best and you will not be disappointed. THANKS ASHISH!!!
