We are absolutely blown away by Matt and the incredible experience he gave us on our wedding day. Not only did he deliver stunning, emotional, and artfully composed photos—we genuinely felt like he was part of our wedding team (even family!), going above and beyond in every possible way.
Matt didn’t just show up with a camera. He showed up with heart, dedication, and an eye for every detail. He helped fix dresses, saved the night with my bustle, and made sure every boutonnière was perfectly placed on the groomsmen. He even took the time to check for stray hairs and makeup before starting his shots—something we never expected from a photographer but deeply appreciated.
His calm, reassuring presence made the day feel effortless. He captured candid moments we didn’t even realize were happening, and his creativity brought out the absolute best in every photo. Our family and friends are still raving about how not only stunning our photos are, but how he truly was outstanding in every way possible.

We are ecstatic with our decision to hire a videographer for our wedding day and so incredibly happy that we decided on VMG. Many couples debate whether or not they should get a videographer for their big day, we were skeptical; but, as a piece of advice, DO IT - absolute best decision, no disappointment whatsoever! VMG proved to be talented, creative, and professional throughout the entire wedding day. We couldn’t believe how amazing our wedding day highlight along with our “Instagram teaser” was, and how incredibly well edited both videos were edited. We are so happy to have these amazing and breathtaking videos, they will surely be cherished forever. -

We are so incredibly happy that we hired VMG weddings to capture our wedding day! Matt was the primary videographer, and Destiny was his second shooter, and they both worked seamless together throughout the day. They arrived to my bridal prep location about 45 minutes prior to their start time, checked in with me (which I thought was incredibly thoughtful), and went on to set up their gear and capture establishing shots of our ceremony location and reception hall (which was mostly set up already). I am so glad I listened to my (now) husband, and allowed him to hire a videographer. The thought of having a video camera capturing us all day, made me nervous and the thought of having someone there taping me made me uneasy (what ifs set in). The day of my wedding I didn’t even notice Matt or Destiny, it's just like they blended into the background, but they seemed to capture our special day entirely. We HIGHLY recommend VMG weddings for your wedding videography needs - they were professional and courteous and they provided us with a wedding video that captured every emotion on our special day. -

We had a great experience with our photographer Paul. The pictures came out beautifully, he was so accommodating, and very prepared. The best part of VMG Weddings (other than their price) is you get all the rights to your photographs which is extremely important! From our first conversation, Matt made us feel at ease. He took the time to really get to know us and what we were hoping for. Our wedding in Owls Head was everything we’d imagined—ocean air, views of Rockland Harbor, and the lighthouse in the distance. Matt and his team captured it all beautifully, along with the little in-between moments that meant the most.
The photos are gorgeous. They feel honest and full of life. And the video… we’ve already watched it more times than we can count. It brings us right back to that day every single time. It doesn’t feel posed or overdone. It just feels like us.
Hiring VMG Weddings was one of the best choices we made. If you're planning a wedding in Maine, don’t think twice. -

Working with VMG was seamless - we decided that we were going to include our dog in our wedding as the ring bearer. Everyone knows how unpredictable a dog can be in large crowds. VMG handled every part of the day and ensured they captured each special moment for us to cherish. Our personalities can be overbearing and VMG handled every piece of the puzzle with professionalism and clear communication. For anyone debating on hiring VMG for their wedding videography needs, we definitely recommend them! -

I am so happy with the work that I received from VMG, there were multiple cameras set up throughout the entire day along with two videographers, it almost seemed like they weren’t even there. I was a bit nervous about hiring video because no one likes to feel like they are being videoed, but it was absolutely the best decision, we didn’t even know we were being captured most of the time and we were able to relive our wedding day through the eyes of an outsider - able to see our family and friends’ reactions along with our own reactions to events that played out. There is nothing that we would have changed, and are happy to recommend VMG to any of our friends. -

Destiny was our Photographer and she was great! She was there on time, she took a lot of pictures without being intrusive of any kind. She is very helpful, funny and easy to talk to. We loved having her at our wedding and we would absolutely recommend her! She considered all my picture ideas and the photos came out very good! She really did capture the spirit of the moment. Matt did an incredible job filming our wedding day, he was thorough and professional. He made sure that he got the shots we envisioned from other videos that we watched prior to the wedding day. One thing that I LOVED was the private “video formals” at dusk that he pulled us out to do. Honestly, we thought he was a bit crazy for wanting to shoot formal shots at dusk with limited light, but his assistant held a light, and the footage turned out AMAZING! We have received so many compliments on our videos, and we are recommending Matt at VMG as the videographer to hire at all our friends weddings! -

VMG weddings was absolutely wonderful. They were on time, easy to work with, get along with, and made us and our wedding party comfortable, instead of that uneasy feeling on camera. To say we are solely satisfied with our wedding videos would be a complete and utter understatement, we are ecstatic about each and every detail captured, and every time we watch our videos it gives me butterflies to think that our wedding day was captured so seamlessly and (what felt like) effortlessly. Attention all engaged couples looking for videography and/or photography - book VMG weddings as your go to, it will be one decision that you will never regret. They made our wedding planning process so easy, they had creative ideas, were talented, and easy to talk to and work with throughout planning and on our wedding day. They offer many different packages, and were super affordable! They were even able to complete our engagement photos, and scheduling was so easy! We cannot express our appreciation for both Matt and Destiny through all of our requests, they were able to accommodate well. I’m the type of person who judges people by first impressions, and my first impression of Matt was on an initial phone call to talk about packages - he was so easy to talk to, attentive to each detail, and helpful in offering advice to help make my special day perfect (I hadn’t even hired him yet!) this is when I decided that the search for a videographer was over, I was treated with respect and talked to like a friend, not just a client. Matt went through a list of details with both myself and my husband, and what we were looking for (both individually and together) in the video, and he followed through on each distinct detail the day of our wedding (some of which I had forgotten that we talked about). On the day of our wedding, Matt was super flexible about schedules and locations (as we were running a bit behind, just as life happens). I felt like I didn’t need to give any direction whatsoever, as he was posing us and setting up all shots before I could even think of them. This ensured that our life was virtually stress-free which was incredibly wonderful! I highly recommend VMG weddings, for the price and the superior quality videos that we received, they are who I would go to with any videography needs in the future. -

Having VMG at our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. From the first conversation, everything just felt easy and natural. No pressure, no awkward posing, just someone who understood what we wanted and knew how to capture it.
Our day at Tops’l Farm was full of little moments that mattered to us, and they caught all of them. The quiet first look with my dad, the ceremony under the apple tree, the dog in a tux, the laughter during the shoe game, nothing felt forced, and nothing was missed.
They blended in when they needed to, stepped up when it counted, and delivered photos and video that feel true to us. Looking back, it doesn’t feel like a wedding production, it feels like our day, the way we remember it.
We’re so thankful we found them. -

Matt went above and beyond for our wedding. From helping me navigate our budget constraints to touring the facility before hand. His assistant Alice was amazing and it just felt like having two more people in our bridal party while we were getting ready. First off - I wish I was able to rate VMG 10 stars, everything was perfect, they made us feel comfortable leading up to our wedding with consistent communication, ensuring all questions are answered to the best of their ability along with walking us through our timeline and giving us feedback on the best possible adjustments to make our day flow seamlessly through our wedding day and even in post-production editing phases. Each step, there was clear communication and they were extremely professional. It is crazy how perfect our wedding day was, and it makes it even better every time we are able to watch our videos. VMG was able to work well with the photographer that I had hired, just like they had worked together hundreds of times before. Hiring a videographer made it possible for us to relive a crazy day that just seemed like a blur, and we were able to watch it over and over, making it possible to find new parts of the day we never realized even happened. -

VMG Weddings made everything so easy and stress free! Matt was always available to answer questions and provide me with necessary paperwork for the venue. Both of our photographers and our videographer were AMAZING! Our photos were back within weeks and were beautiful. We also booked our videographer through the pros and he was wonderful, had such an eye for cinematic shots, and was very easy going throughout the whole wedding day & night. Couldn't have asked for a more professional crew to be part of our big day.VMG Weddings's reply:

My wife and I got married in July 2019, and cannot say enough positive things about VMG, and our experience with them. We talked many times leading up to our wedding day, including a very detailed conversation the week of our wedding to ensure everything would run smoothly the day of. Matt and Destiny were both so helpful in setting up detail shots and ensuring my wife’s vision was captured fully. They were able to work professionally, with great flexibility all while being unnoticed. We received many compliments from guests about them, we will definitely be recommending VMG to family and friends that are planning weddings!
