Best Wedding Photo & Video!
We truly cannot say enough incredible things about Vivid Life, and working with Arlyn and Jovan, as our wedding photographer and videographer. From our engagement session (which Arlyn shot beautifully!) to the wedding day itself, Arlyn and Jovan made the entire experience feel natural, organized, and stress-free.
Not only is their work absolutely stunning, but they are also amazing to work with in person. They have such a calm, authentic presence that makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Nothing felt forced — every photo and video truly captures the emotion and joy of the day.
On the wedding day, they were a seamless team. They helped tremendously with our timeline, kept everything moving smoothly, and somehow managed to corral friends and family for photos without any chaos. They even stayed later than anticipated to make sure they captured everything, which meant so much to us.
If you’re looking for incredible quality paired with genuinely wonderful people, Arlyn and Jovan are it. We will treasure these memories forever, and we look forward to them capturing more milestones in the future! -

Baron Wedding
Vivid Life works as a team. They were so fluid and easygoing on the day of the wedding that it really helped calm my wedding jitters. Very responsive. All of my before and after the wedding follow ups were responded to in a timely manner. I am beyond grateful and pleased with my wedding photos and video. Truly a Great Experience
I have nothing but great things to say about Arlyn. She was attentive, intentional, and creative with the shots, and made my husband and I feel comfortable during the entire process. Perfect Choice for Wedding Photos and Video
We went with Vivid Life as a family member had previously hired them for their wedding and we loved their work. Both Arlyn and Jovan were fantastic to work with. They captured all of our requests for pictures and our highlight video was so fun. We recommended them for friends and they did their wedding too. -

Perfect photographers!
Arlyn and Jovan from Vivid Life Photography were absolutely incredible photographers for our October wedding at Oceanview of Nahant! They made the planning process super easy (one initial phone consultation and one planning phone call before the wedding) and we appreciated their straightforward and reasonable pricing. The day of our wedding they were complete experts at capturing all the perfect moments. The two of them work so well together and they were simply wonderful people to have at our wedding! They went above and beyond to make our wedding the perfect day and we were so thankful to have them. Would recommend to anyone having a New England wedding! -

Vivid Life is absolutely amazing
Arlyn and Jovan were absolutely wonderful to work with. They are pros.
I searched and searched for a photographer for our wedding and just couldn't find anyone that I really trusted and "clicked" with until I spoke to Arlyn. From the first meeting she was honest and super approachable and made it clear that we were in the driver's seat when it came to the photos that we wanted taken the day of. As and added bonus they were actually really reasonably priced and they don't overly edit the photos which was a big concern on for me. I wanted everyone to actually look like their beautiful, unique selves.
They really wanted to make sure that we got the photos that we wanted and that we enjoyed the experience. Let's face it, getting your picture taken is awkward. I was so impressed by the way Arlyn and Jovan made myself, my husband and my entire bridal party feel so comfortable. We didn't feel like we were just being posed. It was a fun atmosphere. They spoke to us like friends and joked with us instead of just barking orders like I've seen other wedding photographers do.
The photos that they took came out AMAZING. I'm super critical of myself in photos and there wasn't a single photo in the sneak peek that I disliked. I'm in love with every photo and I cannot wait to see the rest of them! I have no doubt in my mind that they will all be keepers. I will absolutely recommend Vivid Life to everyone I know and will continue to book any future professional photos with them. -

I've been lucky enough to call Arlyn a friend since childhood, and Jovan a friend since before they were ever even in the photography business. I got to see them build their business from the ground up, and I know first hand how passionate they both are about capturing special moments and providing high quality services. I was so excited that they were available to shoot both my engagement session and some really special parts of my wedding day. I'm super awkward in front of the camera and Arlyn put me and my husband at ease and made our shoot really fun and creative. She had all the right tips and tricks to help me loosen up and catch the light we needed. She put in so much time and energy into our engagement shoot, and we absolutely love the finished products that both she and Jovan worked to edit and perfect. Because Arlyn is such a close friend, she was in my wedding party, otherwise I would have hired her to capture my full wedding - but leave it her her and Jovan to make sure that they captured every moment outside of the timeline we hired someone else for the day of. Because of Vivid Life, I have some of the most special photos of the morning of my wedding, getting ready with my bridal party and Mom through a Covid wedding. And they were wonderful enough to even take photos at end of our evening where we had a sparklers send off. We are so so thankful for their creative energy and talent!! Hire them, you will absolutely be stunned by their professionalism, talent and kind nature! -

Wonderful engagement & ceremony pictures
Arlyn from VIVID Life took both our engagement and wedding ceremony photos. I found her through her website, and from when I first reached out she was wonderful to work with. I had to reschedule our engagement session a bunch of times due to issues with my ring, and I super appreciated Arlyn's flexibility. We had never had professional photos taken before, so were a little nervous. But she quickly put as at ease, and worked with us to set up shots and poses (which was very appreciated, and really showed how experienced she is!). We brought our black lab with us for the engagement photos, and she had no problem incorporating him in the shots. Our wedding ceremony was super small (given COVID), and I asked her super last minute to come take some pictures. She was able to make it work, and I'm so glad. The photos are all amazing, I wouldn't change a thing. Lastly, I also appreciated that she is very up front about pricing and how many edited photos you will get with any package. I would definitely recommend working with Arlyn! -

We found Vivid Life Experience posting through a Facebook group as I was backing out of having a very good friend take our photos. Arlyn and I connected and I loved her samples and the professionalism she showed, I was super glad she was able to squeeze us in even quite late in the wedding season (end of June). I like how she was very organized and knew what shots to take, but also how to work with the bridal party - our groomsmen were very playful while my bridesmaids and I were more reserved to be sure!
Arlyn was able to recommend a lovely spot, Bird Pond, to take pictures at near my wedding venue in Walpole. This definitely made our pictures much nicer with all the lovely greenery and was something I was hesitant to do because of scheduling but was the right choice. Very unfortunately, our photography time got cut short because of delays on my side keeping track of the bridal party (yikes). One of the things I most regret and hope to spare any bride reading this is to definitely no matter what, make more time for your family photos, especially when they have flown out to see you on such as special occasion. Those are the pictures you will look back on for decades. Also very unfortunately, my mom passed away unexpectedly a month after our wedding. I was grateful Arlyn was able to very quickly and compassionately offer photos of my mom at our wedding (usually it takes quite some time to edit and would not expect back) that we were able to show other friends and family, some of those last pictures and with her smiling so brightly. There would never be enough photos, but I wish of course now in hindsight that we had more, especially the candids.
I think Arlyn and the team did a great job capturing all the little wedding details, making us look beautiful, and capturing the emotions of the day. I loved her vivid colors and she stayed true to the style I admired. My dress accidentally got stuck to my jeweled belt at one point, and Arlyn noticed and fixed it for me. There were some great pictures where it was stuck, Arlyn was kind enough to photoshop that part so that it was not noticeable when I asked her to (some people might not care, but I really wanted it).
If there was any criticism, is I think I'm able to see which ones Arlyn took vs the second shooter, as the quality and lighting seems different in some of the shots especially indoors. If I could do it all over again, I'd prioritize more staged photo time, ask for family candids (probably show photos beforehand so they know who), and I would have done the engagement session to also get more comfortable (we had some from previous photographer). I think the loss of 45 minutes affected the photos we received, but something will always go wrong. Now that it has been almost a year and with some time, the regrets have faded and I'm glad we had a lot of great moments captured. I also had a talented videography that I'm glad we splurged on, so no regrets.
Vivid Life Experience is a great choice if you want to be able to relax on your wedding day and know that you are in the hands of a pro. They were very accommodating and professional through out, and delivered at tremendous value for us.

Also, shoutout to Arlyn for her responsiveness, punctuality, and PATIENCE as it was my husband and I that needed to reschedule our engagement shoot about 6x. Arlyn’s understanding and respect toward us was apparent and unwavering during this entire process — and we appreciated that so much. As a bride you don’t want to be stressed out by any detail of your wedding. Well on the photography end of things I had ZERO worries about Arlyn. She was super professional, detailed and such a great spirit to be around on the day! She made us laugh, asked how I would like the shots she took and like literally went above and beyond for us. Pictures were A1 beautiful!! Honestly if you want it done and done right book Arlyn at Vivid Life Experience!!!! -

Yesenia Sent on 08/13/2018VividLife was, and are AMAZING! They did such a beautiful job at our wedding in Bristol, RI. They went above and beyond trying to get the best shots! They will even stop traffic for you so you can take a picture in the middle of the street ;)
We loved how hardworking they were at our wedding. You won’t even notice they’re there capturing your happiest moments even when they’re in front of you lol. At first my husband and I were shy having the attention on us, but Arlyn and Jovan made us feel super comfortable! Our venue was tight, but that didn’t stop them from capturing our wedding. We’re happy that we chose Vivid to be a part of our big day. AND, we’ll give them a call when it’s time to have babies :)!
If I were you, I’d go with Vivid in a heartbeat! -

Surey Sent on 11/28/2017I had used Vivid Life for my website headshots and product photography, so I was familiar with their work and knew I would be reaching out as soon as I got engaged. The engagement shoot was a wonderful practice run for the wedding, as Arlyn and Jovan helped my fiance especially get comfortable in front of the camera. Looking at the pictures, you wouldn't even know how awkward the was feeling in the beginning of the shoot. Best of all, on our wedding day they managed to capture plenty of beautiful shots without us or our guests really being aware they were there at the time! Professional, unobtrusive, and incredible listeners to what we wanted in our pictures. Turn around time was very reasonable and 7 months later we are still in love with the images we received from this awesome team! It was such an absolute pleasure working with Vivid Life Experience. We will be coming back to them for future milestones photos!
