Best DJ Ever!

Peter is honestly is one of the most attentive, caring, professional, and enthusiastic DJs I've ever had the pleasure working with. Our Wedding was in Novemeber of 2024. He addressed all of our needs and offered amazing ideas for wedding. He helped with cutting music for our first dance, and helped with suggestion for songs. Hes been in yhe industry for a long time and really knows what he's doing. He's super friendly and personable. When I was really stressing about certain songs/issues he helped with provided suggestions and ideas that really helped and made everything workout perfectly. Really a great DJ. I will definitely use him again!

South Indian Wedding and Reception

We hired Peter for our traditional South Indian Wedding ceremony and reception event. Not only was Peter incredibly responsive, but he managed to sync up an extensive list of songs to play at the appropriate times for our intricate traditional South Indian ceremony that lasted about 3 hours. Peter even went above and beyond by practicing all the Indian names so that he could announce everyone correctly for photos and again for Reception entrances. He's all around a pleasure to work with! Go hire him for your events :)

Peter is a great wedding DJ!

Peter was amazing and so easy to work with. He understood our music tastes and ensured that the dancefloor was packed all night! He has a TON of music and different mixes so rest-assured he'll probably have something that works for you. On the day of, he was great at managing guest requests, and mixing with our internal playlist of songs.

Amazing DJ who was super attentive to our needs!

Peter was awesome! The day of the actual wedding, everyone loved our ceremony, happy hour and reception music. Our dance floor was so packed people didn't have time to go get drinks at the open bar haha! We had a lot of questions / were not experienced with wedding planning and Peter was so kind to always quickly answer our questions and hop on the phone with us. Peter has a ton of experience with weddings so he was able to provide us sample lists of songs for important moments and guide how we should think about the progression of music and entertainment throughout the wedding. He also provided the uplighting that set the mood for our reception / dance floor.

Peter is your guy. You won't regret it

I had my wedding in San Clemente, CA and Peter was the DJ. If you want someone who knows their stuff and no BS, Peter is your person. In addition to handling the music, he has lights, smoke machines, sparks, tree lights and many other things. Peter was professional, joy to work with, good attitude, and great communicator. I highly recommend Peter.

Outstanding!!

Peter was amazing from start to finish for our August 2023 wedding! We really appreciated that in addition to DJing, we were also able to work with him for MCing and uplighting. He is versatile and attentive. Per my request, towards the end of the night, he transitioned to some EDM favorites which made me so happy and allowed me to have fun with our guests. Vive Entertainment made our wedding amazing!!

Peter is the greatest! He is very accommodating, kind, professional and easy to work with! I the groom on the other hand, was a bit vague about what songs to put on the dance floor because the bride and I were a bit flustered with wedding prep, but the day of, SOMEHOW Peter put on all the songs we loved to dance to! How does he do it? It's like magic.

So, it seems, Peter is not only an exceptional DJ and MC, he is also a mind reader of sorts. But really, you can see his decades of experience shine in how he makes everything work so well and keeps the atmosphere so lively and joyful during the wedding! Even knowing what songs to put, you really see the experience come out.

So for those of you who are looking for a DJ, I know what it's like to comb through so many reviews, many who have high reviews and go "who do we trust?" "they're all good", "how do we know which one's legit?" Let me stop you right there.

Great Wedding Experience

Exceptional DJ!

Peter was exceptional! He stuck with us through two postponements and was our wedding DJ this past August at Rancho Las Lomas. He is easy going and seamlessly led the wedding reception. He never came across as overbearing on the mic. We gave him a general idea of the kind of music we like, and he did a great job at reading the room and choosing which songs to play. Great experience with Peter at our wedding

Peter went above and beyond to make our wedding run smoothly. All my guests were very impressed! The music was great and people were dancing all night. Peter was also very easy to work with and responsive. While talking to him on the phone he helped me pick out songs for my ceremony which was super helpful as a bride with so much to do! Do yourself a favor and choose Peter!

I can't say enough amazing things about Peter but I'll try to keep this short.
1. We were surprised when there wasn't a dance floor we thought we ordered at our reception so Peter took it upon himself to call local vendors to try to get us a dance floor.
2. The best day he sent us video of some special moments at our reception that we otherwise wouldn't have had since our videographer and photographer were gone.
3. He kept our reception to our timeline and has such a fun and calming presence. He was very responsive in the planning process and helped us with details we wouldn't have thought about.

The best for my wedding!

Peter from Vive Entertainment was awesome to work with! He was very reasonably priced and provided such great entertainment and music. I had my wedding at Talega Golf Course and he provided everything we needed (I know nothing about cords, microphones, etc.) He provided microphones for the ceremony, pre-ceremony music, cocktail hour music, and music for the rest of the evening! Now let me just say that our dance floor was LIT from beginning to end, and he threw in a couple songs that I hadn't even thought about that everyone loved! He was great at announcing things and he did it all so naturally ... clearly not his first rodeo. Throughout the planning process he was responsive, flexible, and easy to work with! My first dance song was a bit long and he noticed that and offered to edit and shorten it by taking out some choruses, and it ended up being perfect. I sent my music requests through a mixture of Spotify, Excel, and I sent a few .mp3 files over email (I had created my own song for the father daughter dance!) All in all, he took care of everything and exceeded my expectations!

Best decision we made!

Months before our wedding day, my wife and I knew we struck gold when we hired Peter to be our MC/DJ for our wedding. Finding the right people to make your imagination a reality is very stressful but Peter put us at ease from the beginning. It became clear from our first phone call that he’s very knowledgeable, which is clearly a product of many years of experience. Furthermore, it became clear to us during that first phone call that he’s a kind, good person who genuinely wants to help create the wedding you’re dreaming of. Throughout the process, he was a great communicator and very easy and enjoyable to talk to. I asked him to mix a wide range of music that included EDM, rap, old R&B and Arabic music and he found a way to mix it all seamlessly. My wife and I also love mashups and we asked him to play very specific tracks that I found from complex mixes. He was able to make it all work perfectly to our liking. Not only did he help us with music, but he also helped us with lighting in creating the rave kind of feel my wife was going for. Peter was also a phenomenal MC. Everything was smooth start to finish and I received numerous compliments from my guests about how great he was as both a DJ and MC. I was so nervous picking a DJ because music is very important to me but Peter exceeded every single one of my expectations. Out of all the decisions that went into making our wedding a success, my wife and I both agree that hiring him was the best decision we made.

Responsive and Helpful

Peter was responsive and helpful throughout our entire wedding planning process. Planning a wedding during covid was no easy task, and having a DJ who was consistently there for us as we changed our minds about songs about a million times made everything so much less stressful. We were not given the OK to have dancing until the very last minute and that sent my fiance and I into a panic about what songs to choose for those few hours, I was able to make play lists using their website, and that was incredibly helpful in narrowing down the music. I wish all my vendors were as helpful as Peter!

Wedding Cancelled, but it's okay with vendors like this!

I just wanted to write a quick note about Peter. We were so thrilled to have selected a DJ. Our wedding venue actually recommended Peter (we had no idea where to start when it came to a DJ). We were a little apprehensive, but Peter met us for coffee, made us feel warm, invited, cared for, and HEARD. He was attentive, responsive, and KIND.

With COVID, we unfortunately postponed our wedding from October 2020 to April 2021. Peter literally rearranged his entire schedule for us. I couldn't believe we lined him up AGAIN.

With so much uncertainty, we ultimately made the difficult decision to cancel our big wedding day. When I reached out to Peter, he was not only supportive of our decision, but gave us some of our deposit back (I couldn't believe this - because I have had several other vendors who did not take this approach).

Even when you lose money, there is something about a warm person, who is quick to respond, and genuinely caring that makes the process sting a little less - Peter is just that. I truly wish we could have had our big day partially because of him. I know I can't fully attest to his great work, but should you choose Peter, just know that you will be taken care of.

Peter was an A+++ DJ

Peter went above and beyond for our wedding! We could not have asked for a better personality, mix of music and all around DJ/MC. He helped make every moment of our wedding planning and wedding day perfect. He offered to a meeting before we even hired him, showing us exactly what we could expect with him as our DJ. We knew right away he was a perfect fit. He put together edits of first dance song, entrance song, father-daughter, mother-son dances to make them perfect for us and our timing needs. He even went above and beyond and helped my sisters put together an edit of songs for their MOH speech. He showed up hours early to make sure he was set up for the ceremony, then moved over to cocktail hour to make sure speakers and mics were set up for an impromptu speech. He was the perfect MC, able to get the crowd going, and settle down when someone needed the floor. The whole party was on the dance floor all night long, and that was all thanks to Peter!! I would recommend him again and again for any wedding (or any other occations) because he was really THAT good! Thanks Peter for everything you did to make our day special from beginning to end, we so appreciate it!

Great experience - professional, organized, and fun

Peter at Vive Entertainment was absolutely incredible. He was so organized, professional, and got everyone up and dancing during our shortened reception (due to COVID). Even though we only had 40 people and had to cut the reception an hour short, Peter made the night a blast. Best DJ who will make your big day a stress-free day!!

Wonderful DJ, MC, and Uplighting Service

Hiring Peter Papadopoulos with Vive Entertainment Inc to be the DJ and MC for our daughter's wedding was the BEST DECISION we ever made. Here is why:
My husband and I were very picky (we interviewed many companies) in choosing the right DJ/MC, because we believe the DJ/MC has an important role in the success of the reception.
During the first meeting with Peter, he knew exactly what we wanted. His professionalism, patience, and extensive music repertoire was very impressive. Our daughter raved about how easy it was to communicate with him on playlist adjustments and music edits, despite the fact that she lives in a different state.
So not only he became our DJ and MC, he also handled the uplighting of the very large reception room at our venue.
As a DJ, he played the right music at the right time. The dance floor was always full. Everyone loved his music and we received many compliments.
As a MC, he was spot on with his announcements, and never was too wordy.
As far as uplighting is concerned, everything was done beautifully, and he was very patient adjusting the lights as we desired.
In summary, he helped to make our daughter's wedding the most magical ever.

Amazing DJ who did an awesome job hosting/M.C.ing our wedding

Peter is nothing short of the consummate professional. Prior to the wedding, Peter met and conferred with us to better understand our preferences for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Peter was able to mix songs, including lengthening or shortening songs (i.e. for the processional or our first dance), so as to accommodate our needs and desires. Peter offered a packet of music recommendations which also guided our decisions and lessened the burden of surfing the web for popular songs to play. Peter also adeptly used the music to set the tone of the event; he elevated moments by using high energy music and as well as masterfully used the music to lull the audience to appropriate silence preceding speeches (notably we had a guest count of 275).
For the open dance floor segment (end of the evening fun), Peter played a perfect variety of high-energy dance tracks for the young crowd, and also peppered in slow songs that compelled the older generations to join the group on the dance floor. Peter played the type of music we wanted, and respectfully avoided songs that we expressed we did not want played.
Peter also made for an incredible MC, and provided spectacular introductions for the collective bridal party, not only for the grand entrances, but also for their respective speeches. Lastly Peter has a wonderful disposition; he was easy to get along with, was accommodating, reliable, and returned messages (email or phone) promptly (which is important amidst wedding craze); he assisted with last minute changes, and was an integral member of our wedding crew, and most certainly elevated our wedding experience!

Ultimately, we are extremely happy that we hired Peter. Our wedding was better because Peter was our DJ. We highly recommend him for your wedding and/or any event you may have.

Peter is an amazing DJ and did a fantastic job as DJ/MC for our wedding on 9/8/18! Our family is blended and had many Spanish speakers as well as English speakers which made choosing a playlist a bit of challenge for us but Peter had a lot of experience DJ'ing multicultural weddings and was able to take our suggestions and expand upon them to have a very well-rounded playlist which helped all of our guests feel welcome and have a great time at our reception. Our top priorities in hiring a DJ were professionalism in the MC'ing and creating a very fun atmosphere for the party. There wasn't a moment during the dancing portion of the night that our dance floor was even close to being empty and this was a direct result of Peter's great DJ'ing and selection of music. It may be cheesy, but we had more than one conga line start organically during the course of the night and we're taking that as a sign that everyone had a great time during our reception. Peter was the absolute BEST DJ and MC for our wedding!! He called me before the date and walked me through exactly what he needed in order to make sure everything ran seamless and he announced everyone’s names in the bridal party correctly. He also helped shorten our first dance and parent dances to make sure the music flowed from beginning to end. Anyone looking for top notch entertainment for a reasonable price need look no further. Vive Entertainment is your answer and Peter Papadopoulos is a real pro. From day one it was a wonderful experience. At our first meeting, Peter listened to my vision for the wedding entertainment and then proceeded to lay out a plan to make it a reality. He also provided me with a thumb drive that included every song under the sun to choose from if I wanted to customize every minute of the reception and coupled that with a print out with every song title on the thumb drive. The beautiful take away there is I have a thumb drive FULL of fabulous music that we listen to frequently. With all the planning still ahead of me I knew I didn't want to micro managed the process so having been convinced that Peter had it under control I turned the reigns over to him and let him do what he does best. The background ambiance during dinner was wonderful filled with music from the big band era to Michael Buble and Harry Connick Jr. with a little Frank Sinatra for the older crowd and those of us who love old blue eyes. After dinner the dancing began but the best part was the music wasn't so loud you couldn't hear each other speak. It was just the right volume with just the right tunes that pretty much kept most of the crowd on the dance floor the rest of the evening. I've received so many compliments on the wedding with special recognition for the entertainment. The guests loved him! I also want to add that in advance of the wedding, Peter prepared the sound track for the ceremony at no extra charge so that the technicians at the church simply had to switch a button. In addition, Peter edited our first dance song beautifully so that we could showcase our months-worth of dance lessons without being on the dance floor for five minutes. Bottom line, I couldn't be happier with my choice of Vive Entertainment for the most important day of our lives.

Five stars all around! Our group had such an incredible time with Peter at the helm. Our party has become the stuff of legend; Peter did an incredible job of reading the room and switching up the music when the energy started to lag, so that we were in party mode all night long! Stop researching to find a DJ, you've found him. Seriously. If Peter is still available on your wedding date, HIRE HIM! You will not regret it. From the get go, Peter is extremely easy to work with, and willing to walk you through every step of the process, from coming up with proposed timelines, to suggesting music, to editing songs, to helping you select uplighting. On the day of the wedding, Peter is the ideal emcee. He keeps the flow going, and keeps guests in the loop without being overbearing (we've all seen those DJ's.) And the best part is how well he reads a crowd to keep the dance floor packed all night. He also helped us choose a last dance song that was so memorable and fun. So many guests have complimented us on how awesome the music was during the wedding, and we couldn't agree more! Also priced very reasonably.

Peter was an amazing DJ, very responsive and easy to work with. He responded to all our questions, requests and with his extensive experience with weddings - helped us create a memorable evening for our very special day. The guests thought he was great too and he even taught my nephews how to DJ.

During the planning process, we spoke on the phone several times to ensure the names were pronounced correctly. He arrived to the event early to setup and was very prepared, friendly and extrememly professional. Highly highly recommended for anyone looking to book a DJ.

Peter was amazing throughout the entire wedding process!

Pre-wedding - He gave us great direction, suggestions, and flexibility. We requested several custom edit songs, and he created them right away...which was much appreciated because we needed a lot of time to practice!

Wedding Reception - He knocked it out of the park! After the best man speech, he played a song that was referenced in the best man's speech...totally spur of the moment. It was great. Then during the dancing portion, the vibe was awesome. I don't think I've ever seen so many people dancing the entire time.

We highly recommend him! Extremely professional and a lot of fun!

If you are looking for a professional DJ with the experience, breadth of musical knowledge, and ability to read the room and timeline to keep you and your guests happy, you need to hire Peter. He has an extensive music list that you can work with and blend with your own interest. We had a rather “nontraditional” wedding ceremony and Peter was there to support us all the way and was genuinely excited about seeing our wedding vision come to fruition. His presence and emceeing blended seamlessly into our wedding day from the ceremony, to keeping the reception on time, and to the post reception festivities.
From our first meeting with Peter, he was there to help us navigate all the various possibilities we could have in our events and how music and timing all come into play. His attention to detail and organization from that first meeting on was perfect for us as we prepared for our big day.

Peter is the best DJ in town. He is affordable, professional, and courteous. We were not located in California, so it was very difficult coordinating with all of our vendors. Peter responded quickly to all of my questions, and brought great suggestions / abbreviated songs to give us options. We would definitely use him again for any family get together, or refer him to any friend. Not only does he provide a wide selection of music, and dance songs, but he is a fantastic emcee. He helped make our day special, and everyone at our wedding loved him.

Peter of Vive is amazing, he made our whole reception great! He is very professional and really knows what he's doing. He is more of the DJ that you won't notice at the reception- in a good way- he does his job but doesn't interrupt the party. Everything was perfect and exactly what we asked for, the schedule worked out and all of the songs we picked were perfect. He played great songs and was versatile if we had to change timing up a little bit, like at the end when we had to play a few more songs before we were ready for our grand exit. Highly recommend Vive, very professional, he gives you everything you need when you sign on with him and makes it very easy, he is also very responsive to questions and helps find songs and shorten them if needed.

We used Vive Entertainment for our wedding and we couldnt be happier with our decision. Our guests did not stop dancing the entire night. Vive Entertainment was extremely professional and easy to get a hold of. We were able to meet with Peter multiple times prior to our big day. We had an ethnic crowd and Peter had ALL of our guests music.

I just wanted to say a quick thank you to Peter for being a part of our wedding day! Not only does he know how to take control of a room, but he does it so graciously and effortlessly. Upon meeting Peter, I knew within 5 minutes that he was who I wanted to be a part of our wedding day. He was friendly, and professional and from the reception on, everything was in his hands and I completely trusted he knew what to do. Another great thing that Peter does, is he gives you a huuuge list of music to look through and listen to in order to get an idea of what type of music you want played, and what songs you want for specific things. Keep in mind that your wedding DJ is not just someone who plays music for you to dance to, they work with the venue and photographer to keep the night running smoothly and they announce several things. They keep the party going. You want someone who's personality you relate to, and as a wedding photographer myself, you would be surprised how many DJs out there think its THEIR time to shine at a wedding, instead of yours. Working with DJ Peter was so easy and his work came HIGHLY recommended by so many other wedding vendors. Due to the fact that wedding planning and just every day life is so busy, (sounds bad) but we received so much good feedback about DJ Peter in the industry, we didn't even feel the need to really have a formal meeting before even booking him. We completely trusted him and felt that his pricing was almost more than fair. And he certainly didn't disappoint at all! He worked very well with my wedding planner on the day of and everything was seamless. He also edited songs for dances/entrances/recessional songs, and they sounded great. He is also very professional and dressed very nice for the wedding. The catering director of my venue even made a comment that DJ Peter is one of the best wedding DJ's in So. Cal right now. He also provided some up lighting for my event as well and he did a fabulous job with that as well.

Peter was by far one of our greatest investments on our wedding day. He was fun, outgoing, great on and off the mic, and just an all-around scholar of all things music. He met with us pre-wedding and gave us great input and advice which we trusted and appreciated. He works with you to create a timeline of events and corresponding song suggestions which helps make the decisions easier. We gave him barely any input on song direction and he was still able to read the vibe of our event. He doesn't only know about music, he studies it. Literally, he writes papers on the progression of events and how music intertwines with it. You're silly not to hire him!

We had to change our event date a few times for personal family reasons and Peter did everything he could to make sure he was there to DJ our wedding reception/one year anniversary party. My husband and I had a fantastic time with Peter Pop! He's incredibly chill to deal with, but also very professional. He was on time to sound check, adhered to our no play list, and changed up the music to match the vibe of the guests. The ceremony music was right on point and our reception partied on. What was nice is that some DJs might keep the dance music popping when there's no one on the floor which is really awkward in general. Peter will adjust the music to suit the mood at the moment, but has no problem ramping it up when the guests are ready to dance. If I ever need a DJ for any other party, I am definitely going to hit him up!

After meeting with several DJs, I decided to use Peter's services based on his demeanor and professionalism. Peter always responded to my questions in a timely manner, and he was always very helpful, such as when I asked for an example of a mother of the groom toast. On the day of my wedding, Peter went above and beyond by handling last-minute music requests from my husband and friends very well. Many of my guests came up to me to specifically tell me how much they liked my DJ. I thought that my relatives would be too shy to dance, but even they joined in the dancing because Peter made my wedding so much fun. He is also such a nice person as well. Peter made our wedding experience! Best DJ ever!! I cannot even describe how he managed to read our minds and play the perfect blend of songs. Plus, he is incredibly friendly and easy to work with! The pre-wedding meeting helped us to really explain our taste and narrow down a few specific songs for the night and the overall vibe we were going for- the rest was magic! Peter from Vive Entertainment is by far the best dj we have ever had the pleasure of working with. Not only does he have a very vast variety of music to choose from, he understands the crowd and makes sure that no one leaves the dance floor! I can't say enough about how pleased myself and my fiance are with Peter! Our wedding is actually next summer but we now have complete confidence in our full entertainment which releases stress and worry from me! He is very personable yet professional and his expertise about his field truly shows. Peter didn't just meet us and try to sell us on why we should use him but rather spent about 2 hours just getting to know US and what we really wanted for our day in every single way. He is very perceptive which I believe translates into why he is so talented at reading the guests on the dancefloor. When it came time to make a decision there was no pressure in any way and the decision to use him was obvious. I spoke to several other DJs and none could compare. At our meeting he also provided us a packet which is so incredibly helpful and really gave us some good talking points and ways to plan how WE wanted things to flow. I really can't say enough about how confident I feel in his services and how much this makes me just that must more excited for my special day!!

Peter came HIGHLY recommended both by the St. Regis and our wedding coordinator and we are EXTREMELY happy we hired Peter for our wedding reception!!! Peter was AWESOME....he was by far the BEST DJ i've ever seen at a wedding and we're glad it was OUR wedding he was at! Simply put—Peter is the best!!!!! I don’t know where to begin. We had a very international guest list. I had guests fly in from London, Nigeria and China and Peter was able to play music to make everyone hit the dance floor. Not only did Peter dj our reception, he also did the music for our wedding and cocktail hour and always provided the perfect soundtrack for each moment of our wedding. For the actual ceremony he brought my strong husband to tears as I walked down the aisle, for the cocktail hour he made our guests feel as if we had whisked them off to some south of France and for the reception you would’ve thought you were at the hippest night club in any international city. To top it all off—he even gave us cds of all the songs he played and my husband and I listed to every song and could remember the events of our wedding. It was amazing. We were married in July of 2009, and Peter was our reception DJ. Peter truly helped to make our day special. Not only was he extremely prepared and organized, but he was also extremely responsive to our wishes and tastes in music. We never fully realized the art behind DJ services until we recently attended a wedding and compared the tone that the DJ set there versus the tone Peter set at our wedding. Some DJs want to stick to a schedule instead of just being in the moment, responding to who is on the dance floor and the emotions in the room. That is certainly not Peter! We loved that Peter let our special moments run the night, not a pre-set agenda. Our wedding was very intimate, and we are so glad Peter was a part of it. I know we would not have the many happy memories of our wedding reception if it wasn't for him. Thank you so much, Peter.

Peter Papadopolous of Vive Entertainment, Inc. is the perfect DJ with tons of energy, enthusiasm (but no cheese factor here!), professionalism, and attention to detail. He mapped out my entire timeline, coordinated everything with my 10-piece band, custome edited my first dance and father-daughter dance, and answered every e-mail and call within 24 hours...often instantly! I couldn't be more thankful to have worked with Vive--my guests danced to the early hours of the morning and couldn't get off the dance floor! Thank you, Peter, for the most amazing party!!!

Peter is an awesome DJ! We had him do our cocktail hour and reception and all our guests loved the music he played. He was super easy to work with an showed up on time. He even stayed later than he was supposed to and didn't charge us extra for it! He really made our wedding fun and got all our guests up and dancing, even my dad who DOES NOT dance at all!

We were very pleased and happy with there services. The DJ's were great, they did an exceptional job. The dance floor was never empty and everyone had such a great time. Peter was the DJ at my wedding reception in April 2010 at The Lodge at Torrey Pines. I could not have been happier with my decision to book him. He is responsive, professional, organized, friendly, and talented. My husband and I received so many compliments on him at our wedding. Even my parents (who were wary of finding a good DJ) were thrilled with him and are still commenting on how impressed they were with his speaking skills and professionalism.

Our dinner/toasts were in a separate room than the dance floor. Peter set up a dual speaker system that was flawless.

He also transitioned the wedding events very well and professionally. He is a great speaker and was not at all overbearing.

My dad commented today that when he went up to the front of the room to make his toast, Peter had the foresight to hand my dad both the mic and a glass of champagne. (My dad had forgotten to bring his glass.) Peter really had everything covered and was always one step ahead.

And of course, his music was amazing. The dance floor was packed and he read the guests very well. My husband and I highly recommend him.

Simply put, my husband and I never left the dance floor at our reception because Peter never stopped playing awesome music. Essentially the entire room became a dance floor because everyone was dancing. Peter was awesome to work with throughout our wedding planning. I sent him a very detailed play list about a week before the wedding (a little hyper-controlling on my part) and Peter was so gracious about accepting this list from me - he played everything on it that worked for the event and then many more songs I never would have thought of that were perfect to keep the energy up and fun all night. Peter is also very reasonably priced when I compared him to similar DJ packages and he was super easy to work with and made any adjustments that the venue and wedding planner asked of him. We loved Peter and will recommend him to all our friends getting married in Southern California (our wedding was in San Diego and he made the trip).

If you're looking for a DJ, you can stop now that you've found Peter! My husband and I can't say enough about what a great experience we had working with him. (And this is coming from two people who were originally VERY opposed to having a DJ!) Peter is extremely organized, professional, and has a calm demeanor that is really appreciated on a busy wedding day. He played exactly the kind of music we wanted to hear and MC'd the events of the reception perfectly. All of our guests kept commenting on how great the music was. Overall, our wedding day definitely wouldn't have been the same without Peter as our DJ. Highly, highly recommended.

Peter was absolutely fabulous! So much fun and created the perfect atmosphere to get everyone on the floor dancing--the old, the young, the hip, the traditional--all of our guests danced, even people who typically never dance were on the dance floor and having a blast! We could not have been happier with him! We look forward to working with him again at another event--he will always be our top choice for DJ!

We loved Peter! He kept the dance floor full the entire night even my 82 old grandma was staying on the dance floor. Our reception had so much energy and our guests were having a great time. Peter but together a playlist based on personalities and the music we loved. He was able to mix my husband's love of 80's music and my love of country music & Britney Spears! We highly recommend Peter!

I have to give Peter Papadopolous of Vive Entertainment RAVE reviews.

Peter was a masterful master of ceremonies. He helped to keep me calm before & during the wedding, and provided me with an incredible music library to choose from. He took as long as was needed to help me choose my music, gave me great ideas for song choices, and was very patient with me. He responded in a timely manner to my calls and reassured me when I got flustered as the wedding drew near. We spent 3 hours going through just a portion of his music library and when he didn't have something in his library, he found it for me and added it to his collection as well.

During the wedding he was the highest of professionals, incorporated all of my requests in terms of what to say and how to keep the evening running smoothly. He worked closely and successfully with my wedding coordinator and their teamwork made the evening go by so quickly we needed at least 5 more hours! Very importantly, he was respectful of my wishes not to play certain songs and also was willing to play music that my stepchildren requested by accessing them immediately even when they weren't on my playlist.

He had a great sense of humor and knew how to improvise with my guests. He also incorporated our desire to have Greek dancing to start off the dancing.

I was smart enough to book him way in advance as he has a very busy schedule and I know why.

Needless to say, I found his services to be exceptional and when the opportunity arises again, I will absolutely hire him.

Peter at VIVE was the most classy and professional vendor at our wedding. At the pre-wedding meetings, Peter was informative, creative, punctual and thorough. It really made it easy for my wife and I to focus on other details before the wedding knowing that the DJ was experienced. On our wedding day, Peter's introductions, music, and timelines were perfect. He really set the pace and mood for our wedding, leaving the guests to rave about all the fun they had. The music was PERFECT!! I would reccomend Peter for any event ! If you are looking for quality and professionalism, Peter is the best choice !

Vive provided not only awesome entertainment but they were extremely professional and obviously knew how to make the event go smoothly. They were able to read the room and provide music based on what would keep the party going. Also, they were very adept at controling all aspects of the evening to make sure everything happened on time with minimal interruptions...all in all I would highly recommend them to anyone I know without hesitation!

Peter was great!!! We had a daytime wedding and many of the hotel staff and guests commented that they had never witnessed a daytime wedding where there was so much dancing and fun music. We received comments that Peter was quick in playing requested music.
He was the perfect MC, he never missed a beat!

Not only is Peter professional, fun, funny, and easy to work with, but he keep the dance floor packed during the entire reception. He is talented in providing a good variety of music that all ages can enjoy. He also provided us with 2 copies of all the songs that he played, which was very popular among our guests who wanted copies of it after the wedding. Besides the amazing venue, Peter definitely was the key to our fun and memorable reception!

Peter's thoroughness and preparation are really impressive. He met with us at some length beforehand to make sure he understood exactly how we wanted the reception to flow. He wanted understand the tone we wanted, the level of informality, what type of music we wanted, what specific tunes we wanted to play. He did a really good job as MC for the evening, keeping things moving and adding energy. He did a particularly good job of getting people up and dancing. Many of our friends said they thought he was outstanding. Our wedding coordinator said she thought he was the best she's worked with.
