Marissa was exactly what we were looking for when we started to plan our wedding. What she offered for us was more compared to others we talked to plus her pricing was super reasonable!! We're middle eastern and our weddings are different and she made sure she planned our wedding based off of our customs and traditions!
She was super patient with all our questions during the planning process and she also provided feedback where she saw there could be improvement which is very important! She was very thorough and professional with the whole planning process. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better planner to make our day the most amazing day ever. She was so sweet, down to earth and personable! We recommend her highly!Virgo Event Planning's reply:

My husband and I hired Virgo Event Planning 3 months before our wedding date, and it was the best decision we made. Marissa was one of our favorite vendors to work with. She was very professional, passionate, personable, prompt, detailed oriented, a great communicator, and gave us great feedback and suggestions when planning our wedding. I had the best time bouncing ideas and collaborating with her on our overall wedding vision. It was an absolute joy working with her and seeing how beautiful the vision was executed!! Thanks to all of her help, my husband and I had the best wedding day ever!! The entire day exceeded our expectations! I wish I could relive it all over again!! If you are looking for an exceptional event planner, look no further. Marissa and her team will go above and beyond! I can't say enough great things about her. I worked with Marissa, of Virgo Event Planning, for my daughter's wedding this September. Marissa stepped in the few months leading up to the wedding and helped alleviate so much stress, reaching out to vendors to finalize the details and handling all of the paperwork needed. On the day of, Marissa made sure everyone was on track which helped us be at ease so we could truly enjoy the day. Outside of working with vendors, she always made it a point to check on me (the mother of the bride) and my daughter (the bride) to ensure we were OK. Marissa and her team went above and beyond! I highly recommend Virgo Event Planning. -

Marissa and her team were exceptional! We hired Marissa for our wedding for her day-of coordination service but she delivered so much more! Marissa is kind, friendly, professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. She is smart, organized, efficient, and goes above and beyond the call of duty. My husband and I cannot recommend her enough!!!
While most day-of (or month-of) services start 4 weeks before the wedding, Marissa was available to help us right from the day we reached out to her, providing recommendations even before we had officially hired her! Months before our wedding Marissa helped us think through the many decisions we had to make about the wedding, and was more than willing and able to help us with our event decor (including handling all our florals, and renting and setting up our chuppah).
Nearly 2 months before the wedding Marissa kicked into high gear, sending us checklists, making sure we were on track, and providing complementary access to AislePlanner which helped us organize ourselves. Marissa took over every aspect of event management from communicating & coordinating with other vendors, receiving all deliveries for our decor directly, making sure the legal aspects like marriage license were taken care of, and even taking delivery of the wholesale flowers we ordered online.
On the day of our wedding, Marissa took care of absolutely everything, allowing my husband and myself, and our families to enjoy ourselves without worrying about anything. She managed all the vendors, arranged all our decor (for our outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception), and managed a number of fires that we were not even aware of until after the fact! For example, our venue had a very slow dinner service which would have left us with no time for dancing but Marissa negotiated with them to give us an additional 30 mins to make up for the delays they caused, at no charge to us. After the wedding, Marissa and her team helped with the clean-up and neatly organized and returned all our decor.
Throughout the process, Marissa was extremely easy to work with - she was always there to provide her honest opinion and helped us make decisions while still allowing my husband and I to still make choices based on our preferences. Our wedding was an interfaith/secular wedding and while Marissa didn't have much prior experience with a Hindu-Jewish fusion wedding, she was able to "go with the flow" and helped us think through how to execute all the different ideas we had and also provided a lot of great ideas herself!
Marissa and her team are truly exceptional and we are very grateful to them for everything they did to make our big day such a success.Virgo Event Planning's reply:
