Stuart did such a phenomenal job with officiating our wedding! He is so personable and so relatable. We were really worried about the ceremony being stiff and he made it super relaxed yet super intimate! We were only a group of 22 but he had us all laughing and smiling the whole entire time. Stuart and his wife Janelle with Island Bliss Weddings are such amazing people! We were so lucky to work with them and they made our special day truly unforgettable! :) -

We had one crazy travel experience, to shorten, we had already planned a wedding and stay but there was a mix up as to what island we should have been on! We arrived to St Thomas the day before what was supposed to be our trial, and 2 days before the official wedding day.
We were recommended to Stuart to help us plan a new ceremony since we wouldn't be able to make it to the original island where the plans were set.
Stuart was so efficient, friendly, flexible and helpful with our last minute wedding! He arranged the license (also gave us transportation to and from court house, as well as to and from the ceremony), photographer, videographer, hair stylist, musicians, florist, etc. The ceremony was beautiful, he did an amazing job. Although this week was not at all what we had planned, he made our island wedding a dream come true. Highly recommend! -

Perfect ceremony!
Stu was our officiate. He was amazing and we get complimented on the service quite a bit. He was sincere, personable, nice and fun. It was well seen that he has done this for a long time and that he really enjoyed doing so. He made our ceremony all about us, when only meeting him a few minutes before the service! He even snuck Zion (our cat’s name) into the service as a cute little surprise.
We were SO VERY HAPPY with him and can’t thank him enough for officiating our best day of our lives (to date)! We wouldn’t have wanted anyone else. Thank you, Stuart!!

Beautiful Saint Thomas wedding
Stuart was wonderful! Made our ceremony feel so personal and added humor as well. The florist was closed the day of our wedding so he went out of his way to meet the florist on our way to the wedding site to pick up my bouquet. Such a wonderful experience and couldn’t be happier with our special day! -

I had the pleasure of working with Stuart for my 2016 wedding and he was WONDERFUL! We had a few last minute emergencies with the boat docking an hour late and he stepped in and helped us. He was an advocate for us when the courthouse personnel didn’t treat us with respect and took the time to get to know our story. He incorporated it into our vows and with his great sense of humor made it a wonderful day. -

Above and beyond
Planning a wedding that is going to happen 1,000miles from home is stressful, especially when 75 guests were involved. But Island Bliss Weddings went above and beyond to make my experience as smooth as possible. The day of the wedding went more perfect than I could have imagined. The decor and all the details were perfect!! Aaron was an amazing officiate and spoke absolutely beautifully. I highly recommend using them for your wedding! -

Stuart was absolutely wonderful. From the moment he picked us up we both felt comfortable, he walked us through the courthouse and made it all seem so seamless. He personalized our ceremony with our story in a matter of minutes. The ceremony was beyond anything I could have hoped or imagined. Sarah Sent on 11/18/2016Stuart officiated my wedding last week, and he did an amazing job! When I went down to St. Thomas this spring to plan my destination wedding, he came to meet me at my resort and it was great to meet him! He customizes ceremonies and we wanted a nonreligious ceremony, and it was perfect. He met with my husband before the ceremony to learn some facts about us, and used them all in the ceremony, even the names of our beloved cats! Several guests approached me after the ceremony and mentioned what a great job he did, and how it seemed like he was a family friend. After the ceremony, he promptly filed our certificate for us and even mailed it personally to us back in the States. We really appreciate all that Stuart did for our wedding, and would recommend him to anyone! -

Tycee Sent on 03/21/2016If you are getting marred in the U.S Virgin Islands Stuart is a must! We got married at Lindquist beach on Saint Thomas. He met with my husband shortly before the ceremony to ask a few questions and go over some specifics. We went with the non religious vows and they were absolutely beautiful. He incorporated our story and made is seem like he was there to see it all happen. I was a little nervous about not having a rehearsal but Stuart did a great job of discreetly telling us what to do and when to do it. He even stood to the side so the photographer had better photo ops! Not only did we love him but our friends and family couldn't stop saying what a great job he did! -

Lisa Sent on 07/20/2015I need to be able to give this man 10 stars...he was everything...he set the flow for the whole day. My husband loved him, I adored him, my old church granny thought he was the best. He ran so smooth and so genuine and just so reassuring and captured the spiritual essence of the day which is what mattered the most to us. He was great with the little flower girls and....I just can't explain how much he will mean to us always. Then, he turns around becomes this impromptu wedding coordinator!!!! My goodness, it was awesome and just such a natural flow from him. My husband's grandmother couldn't make it last min (and she was supposed to be our officiant) and God deff sent an angel when He sent Stuart!!! God Bless you always!!! -

If I had to chose one moment that I loved most from our day, easily, it would be our ceremony. I loved our vows! My husband and I (ha, I can say that now!) had never spoke or met Stuart until our wedding day on 11/7/14… and from our first meeting, he was so personable and kind. He seemed to genuinely care about making our big day special. He did an amazing job at directing us and making our ceremony truly ours, heartwarming & memorable. Linda Sent on 05/21/2014Janelle at Island Bliss Weddings set us up with Stu as our wedding officiant, and I'm so glad she did! He's a really nice and personable guy, and he made the ceremony so upbeat and fun. We first met and talked with him when he picked us up from our cruise ship, and he drove us to the court house and to the our ceremony site at Lindquist Beach. He chatted with us the whole way, plus gave us a bit of a tour en route to the beach and showed us a really beautiful spot called Drake's Seat. He also asked the groom several questions about how we met, pets we have, and things like that, and then incorporated them into the ceremony. My mother-in-law especially loved when he talked about our cats Orrie and Oleander during the ceremony!
Our ceremony was definitely the best I've ever seen, and I'm not just saying that because it was mine :) Stu really made it personalized and everyone loved it. I highly recommend him! -

Claus Sent on 05/23/2012My wife and I were married at the Ritz in St Thomas a couple of weeks ago. Stuart was absolutely amazing throughout the whole thing, I cannot recommend him enough. He walked us through the entire process before we arrived; took us to the courthouse to do the official paperwork and generally made us feel calm about the whole thing.
We aren't very religious and Stuart's version of the vows was refreshingly modern yet deep and meaningful and it managed to bring tears to the eyes of many. During the ceremony he was an excellent guide and genuinely made all the nerves just disappear. He has a great working relationship with the folks at the Ritz and between them they made sure everything was absolutely perfect.

He makes you feel at home from the moment you step foot on the island. He and his wife Janelle are truly amazing. I feel the both went way above and beyond to make our day extra special and they will never be forgotten. Stuart and Janelle from the bottom of our hearts, thank you and really we cant say thanks enough for the incredible service you guys provided to us.

Shannon Sent on 02/08/2012Stewart picked us up at our cruise ship and brought us to the courthouse to pick up our wedding papers. From the moment we met him, we knew this was going to work out great. He then whisked us off to the ceremony site on Megans Bay Beach.
He made our ceremony fun, enjoyable and memorable. He personalized the ceremony and had guests giggling in their seats. Just what we asked for!!!
Down the road when we plan to re-do our vows....Stewart and his wife (owner of Island Bliss Weddings) will be the first ones we call!

Anne Sent on 10/25/2011Stu was arranged as our officiant by our wedding planner so we didn't 'hand-pick' him... but we would have anyways in hindsight! He was great! I'm sure he is capable of any type of ceremony, but we wanted something that would match our personalities, and we wanted it short and sweet. He gathered some info from my husband before the wedding and used it to create a fun and sweet ceremony that we absolutely loved. It was very 'us' and had our families smiling and maybe tearing-up a little too. Hopefully someday we'll make it back to St. Thomas and we can renew our vows with Stu as the officiant! -

Christine Sent on 03/15/2011Stuart was absolutely fabulous! My husband Mike and I got married last Friday at Pretty Klip Point, located at Sapphire Beach on St. Thomas. Mike and I decided to get married on St. Thomas just about a month ago, so we didn't have much time to get everything done, but when I contacted Stu everything just fell right in place. Not only was Stuart great but he also gave me a name of a videographer that was simply awesome to work with.
Stu went above and beyond what I even expected from him. Since it was just my husband and I at the wedding Stuart made it a point to tailor the wedding to fit us. I loved how he included many of our personal details about our relationship throughout the service. We were both so impressed with how Stu remembered every little detail Mike shared with him and included the things that mattered to us most like our dog Bailey, friends and family! It made our wedding day truly unforgettable.
To top things off Stu took us back to our hotel after the wedding, let us change and then offered to give us a ride to Megen's Bay! Along the way he was the best of host, telling us all about St. Thomas and stopping for us to take photos.
I honestly can't say enough about Stu... I feel like he is a really genuine guy who lives life to it's fullest. Don't spend another moment looking for anyone else on St. Thomas, Stuart Scott is the best on the island. -

My guests, my husband, and myself all immediately felt at ease with him - as if we'd known him for quite some time. Stuart even added a few lines about how my husband and I met to make the ceremony more personal. He is completely comfortable with incorporating your unique traditions into ceremonies and very professional. -

From our first inquiry via email there was not a doubt in our minds that this man was the one we desired to pronounce us man and wife. We both desired a real down to earth type day. One that wouldn't break our bank, had a beach bar to have a few celebration drinks, and yet would be the most memorable day ever. Stu told us that he had the perfect site. Lime Tree Beach on St. Thomas. {Breathtaking!} We traveled with a group of eighteen. The Rev. referred us to Papa Bear from Airforce One to shuttle our guests to and from Lime Tree Beach. Papa Bear was more than a pleasure. He had the gang singing party songs along the transport route. People on the streets were singing and dancing along with us. Stewart referred my bride to a local florist to arrange flowers. Affordable and perfectly beautiful. For our guests we ordered several bottles of champagne for the toast. Our man Stewart supplied the flutes. He also recommended a photographer for our use. She was phenominal!!! As for the ceremony itself.... words cannot describe well enough how incredible it truely was standing barefoot in the Caribbean while Stewart performed the most perfect wedding. Our entire group was in awe and we still are. Stewart Scott gave to us a fantasy wedding. One that most couples would only dream about. You are forever in our hearts Stu! -
