Shawn was perfect

Shawn was absolutely perfect as a DJ at our wedding last week. My wife and I have been to a number of weddings and have seen a number of DJs/MCs whose performance we didn't quite love. But Shawn was absolutely perfect. Shawn completely understood the vibe of our wedding and audience and the music he played set an amazing tone that kept our dance floor full and the party going for the entire reception. He also took suggestions, and did an excellent job at turning down suggestions that we wouldn't have liked but also playing suggestions that fit the tone PERFECTLY.

Our wedding had an interesting mix of older folks (aunts, grandparents, etc.) as well as fellow 25 year olds or so, which made for an interesting challenge to please everyone. But Shawn managed to DJ a wedding that my 80 year old grandfather (who can be a bit grumpy) complimented on the music while at the same time pleasing the younger crowds with the pop hits they loved. He managed to keep all kinds of people coming onto the dance floor, playing some old hits that would draw the older crowd to the floor, then rotating seamlessly through newer generations of music while the older crowd caught their breath. He seamlessly wove in our slower music suggestions (my wife and I love to slow dance) while keeping the mood of the reception still upbeat and lively. We never once had to worry about the music for the ceremony nor the reception, Shawn played everything perfectly and I have gotten numerous compliments from older and younger guests alike about how much they loved the music and the DJ.

Shawn was really amazing to work with too, willing to meet whenever we needed him, and very helpful with walking us through questions we had such as determining how much of the song we wanted to play for our first dance/parent dances, how many songs/what timing we needed for the procession, and giving his own thoughts on the music vibe we wanted to cultivate for the dinner and reception. Shawn was awesome, we don't have single bad thing to possibly say about him, and so many of our guests specifically commented on how amazing he was - we highly recommend him.

Shawn is amazing!

Shawn was our DJ for my husband and I's wedding day this past June in New Hampshire! From the planning stages to the actual wedding day Shawn was incredible to work with! He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He worked closely with our venue coordinator and vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly on our big day (he brought all of the equipment needed including the mics for our ceremony and reception speeches). He even performed live music during our cocktail hour singing/guitar (he has a beautiful voice)!! For the reception, our guests were on the dance floor the entire night! We received many compliments from guests on the music selection and Shawn respected our "do not play list of songs". If you are thinking about booking Shawn, do it! You will not be disappointed!

Shawn was an absolute legend to work with. We planned our wedding from across the country and he made it happen with ease. Incredible experience working with Shawn! From the beginning he put us at ease with his flexibility and openness to our ideas and did an incredible and seamless job of integrating them into the wedding. A total professional in every aspect of the process, his knowledge and thoroughness of what it takes to pull of a great musical experience at a wedding was a breath of fresh air. In addition to DJ services, he provided uplighting and generators which were both a huge plus since it was that much less we had to worry about. Seriously can't say enough good things about Shawn! Highly recommend!

Amazing. Perfect. Book this man NOW.

We recently had our wedding with Shawn Santanello of Viren entertainment and I cannot express what a positive experience this was. Shawn had the flexibility to meet with us virtually for the booking appointment to review our options. I was surprised by how many services and packages there were. A few weeks before the wedding we met with Shawn at his office and went over every detail. So many things we had not thought of ourselves. Shawn made sure everything was on point. I had decided to walk down the aisle to a random instrumental I had found on YouTube which was no problem for him. We also don't crave a ton of attention and he was able to shorten our first dance song. Amazing. He even gave a perfect dinner recommendation as we are not familiar with the area. We are lower key and probably older than the average couple getting married. Shawn had us submit a playlist and from that picked up the vibe we were going for PERFECTLY. I genuinely loved every song he played the entire night. The songs he picked for the dance portion were perfect and there were so many people dancing. I had been nervous everyone would just be sitting at their tables. He also played at a volume where people who weren't dancing could still have a conversation. We had a few non traditional elements to our reception that he was completely enthusiastic about. We got married at the Ranch in Southwick and because Shawn has such a great personality he is friendly with their wedding coordinator and also our photographer which really added to the easy party atmosphere. I cannot recommend this DJ enough.

Shawn's the man!

We had such a good time working with Shawn and his assistant for our wedding at The Log Cabin on 10/9/22! We had great chemistry and communication right off the bat, and he made the whole process so easy. He's great live if you want that added bonus, and as an MC he was really on the ball, working attentively with us, our day-of coordinator, and our other vendors to keep things running smoothly and keep our guests in the loop about where to direct their attention. He was fantastic at catering his music choices to our vision, and kept our guests dancing right to the end. A good DJ/MC can really make or break the wedding reception, and Shawn nailed every aspect!

Great day with Shawn!

We had a blast working with Shawn for our wedding at the Montague Retreat Center! He gives off such a fun vibe, but is also clearly an experienced professional. Shawn did a great job working with our coordinators and together they made sure the whole day flowed flawlessly. It really stuck out to us that he took the time to make sure he knew how to pronounce everybody's names. He also did a great job getting people of ALL ages up dancing- our grandparents were on the floor for hours! Could not recommend him more!

WOW is all we can say!

Where to begin?? Shawn is AMAZING. we loved his energy he brought from the very first Facetime consult in the height of the COVID lockdown. He brought the best energy, discussing all of our ideas and our love for music. There was never any doubt he was the best-hands down. Shawn pivoted with us when we pushed our wedding out a year, entertained all of our ideas and wide variety of music preferences, and was incredible to work with. We knew our ceremony, live acoustic cocktail hour, and reception were in the best hands. Our guests raved about his acoustic performance during the ceremony processional (which also made me choke up right before I was going to walk down the aisle- talk about goosebumps!) and also his live acoustic performance during cocktail hour. And, HE BROUGHT THE PARTY for the reception. My dance floor was not empty for a single minute once the music started. Shawn is hands down the best. There are not enough words!

DJ Shawn is an amazing DJ!

We used DJ Shawn for our wedding in the spring of this past year. DJ Shawn was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was able to be supportive and provide guidance while planning for our big day. He helped us select music that would make our night truly special and was also able to include serbian music to be inclusive of both families. Best DJ Ever

Shawn is amazing and he helped make our day was absolutely incredible! We’ve been reminiscing about many special moments especially our first dance. Once Shawn opened up the dance floor, it was full all night long. It was an absolute blast! So many family and friends shared how they had an amazing time dancing and how incredible the music was. A friend, who’s getting married this weekend, asked for our “playlist” and I had to tell her we didn’t have one! It was all Shawn with some direction from us. Even weeks after the wedding, we’re still getting texts from our loved ones talking about how much fun they had dancing. Thank you Shawn!

Hire this man!

My husband and I are SO glad that we hired Shawn for our October 2021 wedding at Quonquont Farm. From the jump, Shawn was a breeze to work with - So laid back and pleasant, and an expert at this craft! Shawn provided the music for our ceremony and cocktail hour, then performed an acoustic set during dinner (dreamy!), and then had our guests groovin' on the dance floor all night - Something that was so important to this bride! Shawn helped us put together a playlist that was fun and classic, and would motivate guests from all generations to put on their boogie shoes - It totally worked! Shawn is the best!

My husband and I hired Shawn to provide entertainment for our wedding in September, and it was one of the best decisions we made! Every part of the process - from our first intro chat on video to the actual day of the wedding - was truly amazing and we had so much fun working with him. We worked with Shawn and he was amazing! When meeting with Shawn before our wedding he was totally invested in making sure our day was exactly how we wanted it. He talked through ideas with us and he gave opinions on things that have gone well for him in the past and that was super helpful! We also upgraded our package to have the mirror photo booth and I’m so glad we did! It was a huge hit with our guests and was used all night! Even better, now we have all the photos on a hard drive for a nice memory book. Music is such an important part to a wedding. Wedding DJ- 9/4/21

We used Viren Entertainment for DJ and uplighting services for our wedding. Picking the right DJ to work with was a priority because good music is a must to ensure an epic dance party. Working with Shawn was easily one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. From the start, we knew that Shawn was going to be great to work with and we instantly clicked. Not only was he very responsive, professional and flexible, Shawn was really fun and went out of his way to make sure that everything was to our liking.

He provided great recommendations ceremony music and catered to our untraditional requests for cocktail and dinner music. The uplighting was also a nice touch which set the mood and environment that we were looking for.

Our guests had an incredible time dancing the night away and also complimented us on how great the DJ/the music was (many even said it was the most fun wedding they have been to because the music was so good). Once the dancing started, we did not stop for the rest of the evening. I can’t recommend Shawn enough for any entertainment needs. He truly is a pleasure to work with and provided excellent services. Shawn really made our wedding a night we'll never forget

Shawn is amazing!

We knew immediately after meeting Shawn that we wanted to hire him for our wedding, and he did not disappoint! Shawn was extremely flexible and understanding when we had to postpone due to Covid. Throughout all of our communications over a year and a half, and during the wedding itself, Shawn was consistently responsive, helpful, professional, and fun to work with.
He provided live music for our ceremony (acoustic guitar and vocals), and he even took the time to learn special arrangements for our processional and recessional music. His performance was exactly what we wanted and it helped to make our ceremony really special. Shawn also managed the mics and sound system for the ceremony and speeches during the reception, and everything was flawless. Then as the DJ for the cocktail hour and reception, Shawn was wonderful again. We'd given him a short list of requested songs, and he used that to create the perfect playlist for the entire evening. Everyone danced and had an amazing time, and we couldn’t have done it without Shawn.

Highly recommend!!

We had an amazing time working with Shawn and Viren Entertainment! Shawn is amazing at his job and made us feel so at ease throughout the whole process. We first met Shawn in late 2019 while planning a June 2020 wedding, but due to Covid we ended up delaying our wedding and got married in June 2021. Shawn was so accommodating, supportive, and empathetic through the entire ordeal. He was committed to working with us through all the reschedules (and there were many!) and really worked to ensure that our day was exactly what we envisioned. We really felt that Shawn got to know us throughout our conversations, which made the day even more special. Besides being great to work with, Shawn is also an amazing entertainer. He played live music (guitar and vocals) during dinner, and it was absolutely beautiful (and all of our guests raved about him!) He also kept the dance floor going all night, which he knew was important to us. He has such a deep knowledge of music and was so great at picking music that captured our musical interests and that our guests enjoyed. We highly recommend Shawn and hope we can work with him again someday!

Amazing DJ!!

Shawn was such a pleasure to work with. He offers many different packages that you can customize very easily. He DJ'd for us, as well as sang live music for our cocktail hour, as well as our first dance song. We also hired him for lighting, which looked spectacular in our venue.

Shawn does a lot to make sure that everything is how you want it to be on your wedding day. He meets with you about a month before the wedding to iron out all the little details-- this meeting made us feel so much better about everything and more prepared for the big day!

Shawn is an awesome DJ and played great songs to keep the party going, but where he really shines is his live music. We chose 'Thank You' by Led Zeppelin for our first dance song, and he did an absolutely fantastic job. It was such a memorable experience for us and luckily we have video to relive it whenever we want! I would highly recommend Shawn for any of your DJ needs!!

Perfection

Shawn was amazing to work with for our Wedding. Not only is he a great DJ/MC, but he is also an excellent performer! Amazing DJ, MC, Guitarist, and Singer :)

Shawn was wonderful to work with. He met with my husband and I twice: once to get to know each other and see if we would be a good fit and second to review our details for the big day. He arrived early to our venue with his assistant to make sure everything was set up properly and made our day seamless. He made it clear that if we wanted him to stay longer, that also wouldn't be an issue and we could even ask him the night of which I thought was extremely flexible of him. He took detailed notes on our must plays and when it came time to start dancing, he hit a lot of them. When he went off course, he was fully accepting of my request to stick to our requested era/genre of music and got right back on track :) He also played guitar during our cocktail hour and killed it! He performed at my brother's wedding too, and never disappoints. Great job, Shawn! Hope to work with you again in the future!

The perfect DJ and musician

You should not pass up the chance to work with Shawn. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Shawn was during the entire experience. We booked Shawn when we imagined a 100+ person wedding with hours of dancing. But as the pandemic changed all plans, Shawn was still down and excited to do our more intimate 20 person ceremony. He was very flexible and helped us work through how we could change our music experience with him to curate the relaxed atmosphere we now wanted. I'm so happy we decided to still have a DJ at our intimate wedding, especially that Shawn was that person. His acoustic music was an absolute hit (definitely get this option!) and he made sure everything else ran smoothly. He helped create an atmosphere that was relaxed and casual, exactly what we wanted. If you want a DJ that will basically roll with any changes, make things run smoothly, give you a perfectly curated experience no matter the amount of people or atmosphere you want, and make it so you really do not have to worry and can enjoy both the music planning and the day - Shawn is your guy. No matter the experience you are looking for, Shawn will make it happen and you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely wonderful!

Goat dj!

This Dj is truly the greatest of all time! We were actually recommended him from a venue we didn’t end up working with. They had brought up the differences in quality djs, and used him as reference of what to look for. So I quickly followed up that meeting with an email asking for his contact. When we did sit down and meet with him we could tell from his energy and passion he was what we were looking for. There are so many choices when you are planning for a wedding and this was the easiest one we made. Do yourself a favor!

Hit the Jackpot!

My husband and I hit the jackpot with our wedding venue and vendors. Quonquont Farm in Whately, MA provided a preferred vendor list, and it was from that list that we found Shawn Santanello with Viren Entertainment. When we first reached out, our wedding date was originally booked with him. He was so kind and helpful, and recommended several other DJs that he knew would be good choices for us. About a week later, he reached back out and said the wedding fell through that he was originally booked with, and that he’d be happy to meet with us. Since that email, we had a couple face-to-face meetings with Shawn and several email conversations leading up to our big day. He’s so professional, and we knew we would not need to worry about a thing on our big day. Shawn played acoustic guitar in the apple orchard setting of our venue as guests arrived, played our ceremony music in the orchard, then transitioned inside for cocktail hour and the reception. We had him play guitar and sing for our dinner hour, and it was exactly what we always dreamed we could have at our wedding. Shawn was such a huge part of our big day. We genuinely enjoyed the process with him from start to finish, he made everything stress-free, we found him to be very reasonably priced for what he was able to provide, and he set the tone for our magical day. 100% recommend Shawn with Viren Entertainment!

Unbelievable! choose Shawn!

I stumbled upon Shawn online while struggling to find a good dj for our wedding in June 2018. I didn’t want just a typical DJ that played typical wedding reception music. When I saw that Shawn sang at weddings and performs dj services I was interested. I watched him sing onyou tube and I was hooked immediately. I was so worried eh was going to be booked for my day. I called him right away and he got back to my witching just an hour. I was so happy to have Shawn perform at my wedding. He played acoustically while we walked down the aisle, and he sang our first dance, I changed the song about 3 times and each time he never steered me wrong, he gave me good feedback on my choices to help me decide. He sang it BEAUTIFULLY. But I wish I wasn’t dancing so I could of just stood and listened to him! His dj services were amazing. He catered to our style and taste and nailed it spot on. He was very engaging with my guests and bridal party. We loved it. His mirror photo booth is super cool and none of my guests had ever seen anything like it. They had a blast. Phenomenal

Shawn is incredibly talented!! He performed acoustic guitar and vocals for the cocktail hour at our wedding and he absolutely blew us away with his talent. He ran straight over from the ceremony area and began playing such beautiful music, and he has an amazing voice! For the reception, he DJd the entire event perfectly! We wanted an up to date, fun vibe and from the moment we met him we knew he was exactly who we were looking for! He kept everyone dancing all night long! He also worked with us to help make announcements so we could get some special group photos which we are both so grateful for!! He helped us find the perfect songs that showed who we are as a couple and had the best ideas! We also rented his magic mirror photo booth which was awesome, all of our guests loved using it! Best. DJ. Ever!

Shawn is an absolutely phenomenal DJ and all-around person! We were lucky to see him DJ another wedding and knew we had to book him. He is very friendly and flexible. He met with us for a couple hours to get to know us and our music preferences and more info about the plan for the wedding day. He did a great job coordinating with the venue and other vendors. He played an acoustic cocktail hour and played our first dance. We also used the Magic Mirror photobooth provided through his company and it was a big hit! We hired Shawn to handle all the music for our wedding at Quonquont Farm and he did a fantastic job! For some reason, the DJ was the one part of our wedding that we were nervous about. It seemed like if the DJ didn't match our style or taste, then the whole night could be thrown off. Luckily, Shawn totally came through for us!

Shawn handled the sound for our ceremony, including the music and making sure everyone could hear the officiant. He also played recorded music during cocktail hour, dinner, and through the end of the dance party. We requested a blend of music - old and new - to make sure all our guests would dance and have a good time. Shawn did an excellent job of pulling this off. We couldn't believe how quickly people took to the dance floor and stayed there all night!

We didn't get the chance to meet him before the wedding since we live in California, but his communication was top notch and we never had to worry. In the end, we are so glad we hired Shawn and were so happy with how everything went on our big day!

Shawn is just terrific. He was one of the highlights for our wedding. I've been told endless compliments from my guests. He sang our first song beautifully and we trusted him with each and every need. He helped make this stressful planning process much easier! Shawn is the best in the business, very professional but down to earth and fun! We met with Shawn twice before the wedding and both times it felt as though we were talking to a friend. Our last meeting before the wedding we spent most of the time laughing (which was what we needed a month before the big day).
Shawn exceeded all of our expectations at the wedding, everyone was dancing all night long and begging him to stay and play just one last song. The dance floor was packed and he knew exactly what songs to play when to keep people dancing and having fun. I had a few do not play requests and even with guests asking to play those songs he politely told them they were off limits and kept the bride happy!

Planning a wedding is no easy task and can be completely overwhelming. And most of the time, it goes without saying that your DJ can either make or break the entire feel of the evening. Hands down, Shawn MADE our wedding top notch and an unbelievable night to remember, for not only my husband and I, but for every guest attending!

When I met Shawn, I knew instantly that we didn't even need to explore any further options for our big day. As a wedding planner, I saw many things I did and didn't like from DJs. But Shawn's unique talent offers the full, and completely unexpected, package.

My husband even looked forward to our planning appointments!! Which made one step of the wedding planning an absolute breeze. Everyone that attended the post-wedding party was amazed at the entertainment provided. Viren Entertainment demonstrated the highest level of professsionalism and understanding of the group's demographic. The music was perfect because of the choice of artists and in the volume. So often the music creates a bit of a distraction to whatever is going on at the time, but this music became an integral part and moved the party along beautifully. Shawn was outstanding and helped to make the party most memorable. I cannot imagine anyone else providing what Viren/Shawn did.

Shawn was an absolute joy to work with right from the beginning. He is communicative, responsive, and thorough. He's also just a nice guy. He met with us twice before our wedding and took detailed notes on how we wanted the evening to go. He charged more than another DJ we considered, but it seemed totally worth it given the service we received. Shawn also really knows his stuff and is very helpful in picking songs if you're having trouble. He played a wonderful mix of fun dance songs, to the point where I was wanting a song I didn't like to come on so I could take a break from dancing! Shawn kept the dance floor packed the entire night. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Shawn was just the best. Music and food were tied for some of the most important components of our reception, and we clicked with Shawn right away because he totally understood the balance we wanted to strike with our own music and familiar music that makes people get up and dance. Shawn and Viren Entertainment DJ’d and played an acoustic set at our wedding at Quonquont Farm. My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with Shawn. In addition to providing the reception music Shawn also set up the processional/recessional songs as well as audio support for our outdoor ceremony. The acoustic set Shawn played during dinner was absolutely wonderful! He is extremely talented and really set the atmosphere for the night. As we were planning our wedding out of state, we were able to set up several times on the phone to discuss music preferences and the schedule for our wedding. He was professional and very organized, paying attention to small details that were of particular importance to us. When we booked Shawn we were aware of the decibel limit that Quonquont has and Shawn was able to work well within that limit, our guest spent dancing the night away! Also importantly for keeping our guests on the dance floor, Shawn was able to work with our eclectic music taste so everyone was happy and enjoying themselves. We also had the mirror photo booth, which was a huge hit!! Our guest loved it and it was so much fun to go back and look at the all the pictures after the wedding. We were recommended via word of mouth to meet with Shawn for our wedding. He was accommodating with time and place of each meeting and even willing to come to us! Extremely reasonable pricing and so easy to communicate with. He gave us great direction with the planning which we loved the help because let's face it my husband and I had no idea what it entailed. Everyone was on the dance floor with his selections the whole night which is what we were looking for. You could tell he knew how to adjust song choices based on what everyone was feeling it was so nice looking back on our videography to see that. The music was clear and not so loud or with all the base where you can't make out the words or you have to yell to speak to one another. Just great quality. Guests actually commmented on that especially the ones that were sitting right by the DJ station. You also want to take into consideration how your DJ will be the official MC of the night and his skills and voice were perfect for our day. We were so lucky to have Shawn/Viren Entertainment at our 11/26/16 wedding and part of our wedding team. He played beautiful acoustic music during our cocktail hour, sang our first dance (which was A-MAZ-ING), was our DJ at the reception, provided our uplighting and did our photobooth.

From the moment we met Shawn, we knew we wanted to hire him. We immediately clicked-he was fun but professional, and he helped and guided us along the way.

Our guests loved his music during cocktail hour, his first dance performance was absolutely perfect (the room was silent...people were in awe of him), the uplighting looked perfect, the photobooth was so fun and he had our dance floor rocking all night. We got so many compliments on Shawn throughout the wedding and after.

Hiring Shawn was one of the best wedding decisions we made. We can't say enough about him, his voice, his work and his spirit. Thank you, Shawn, for helping our day/night be unforgettable!

Shawn came highly recommended by many friends and with good reason! From the very first conversation he makes you feel very comfortable and guides you through the entire process. He was very responsive to emails, gave honest and helpful advice when setting up the timeline and most importantly listened to who we were as a couple. Our entire day from the ceremony to the reception reflected that. Our guests loved his acoustic set during our cocktail hour and at the reception he did an awesome job at reading our crowd and playing songs that everyone would love. Shawn did an amazing job at our wedding. It was the best day and all of our guests had an absolute blast – which we mostly owe to Shawn. We met with him beforehand and gave him a very general idea of what we were looking for in terms of music and gave him only one request: keep people on the dance floor. He did not disappoint! Our dance floor was packed and people danced the entire night. He was so accommodating to every request we had in terms of ceremony music and suggestions for first dances, etc. He performed during cocktail hour and our ceremony as well and did a phenomenal job. We opted for up lighting and the photo booth which our guests loved. I cannot say enough great things about our experience with Shawn and am looking forward to experience the fun all over again at my sister’s upcoming wedding!

Shawn did a fantastic job providing DJ services for our wedding. We had a lot of requests and ideas in regards to what type of music we liked, and Shawn really listened to us and catered to what we wanted. He was very professional and easy to work with.

Shawn also played an acoustic session during our cocktail hour, and did a lovely job. We received many compliments on his performance from the wedding attendees.

Shawn was an amazing DJ at our wedding! All our guests kept telling us how awesome Shawn was and no one wanted to stop dancing at the end of the night. Shawn was amazing! What a talented and friendly guy. I am still getting compliments on the music at our wedding. He did the ceremony music for us, then sang/played acoustic at the cocktail hour (so great), then Dj'ed the night away. I was even so excited at the music he played during dinner!! He made planning easy, with us living in Boston, we were able to facetime for some of our meetings which was a huge help. From the get go we were so excited to be working with Shawn, he was helpful, had great suggestions and helped us put together the night we were envisioning. Shawn provided acoustic guitar and vocals for our 1st dance and throughout dinner at our reception at the Red Barn at Hampshire College on 6/17. He is an incredible performer! All of my guests were commenting on how talented he is and also how he really set the tone of the party all night, as he also provided DJ services for the rest of our reception. My husband and I love live music so it was really special to us to find such a great performer. In terms of working with Shawn leading up to our wedding, we planned our wedding from the Boston area and Shawn was very flexible in finding times to meet and answering a lot of questions via email. He had a lot of great ideas and really helped us finalize our song list. Everyone was dancing all night and Shawn truly helped make our wedding special and memorable! If you have not heard Shawn sing live, you are missing out. The first wedding decision we agreed on was Viren Entertainment, and I have to say it is truly one of my favorite decisions! Shawn was flexible and so low pressure. We had one formal brainstorming meeting and we knew he had it. He sang our ceremony, first dance and an amazing dinner set and then rocked the rest of the night as the DJ. My husband danced his feet off! And our guests are still talking about what an awesome party! As an event planner, I cannot say enough good things about Shawn. :-)

Shawn did such a wonderful job. He was so flexible with adding and substituting our package. We didn't feel like we paid for anything we didn't use and he was so reasonable with coming up with fair pricing for my different ideas and needs. He set himself and his equipment up and coordinated vendors at several different locations, and I knew that he had everything under control. I didn't feel the need to check on anything on the wedding day because Shawn took the time to go over every detail and location and need on my timeline to a tee. I'm so impressed with his coordination and responsiveness, never mind the actual product! He sang acoustic for our ceremony, then broke down the set and moved to the reception venue to DJ where he introduced everyone perfectly, kept music flowing through dinner and rocked the party for hours keeping people dancing, and I never felt the need to leave the dance floor due a a lame song being played. And he's just a cool dude on top of everything. Don't hesitate to book him for your wedding, you will have no regrets.

Shawn is so charismatic and the perfect fun, professional, and talented DJ! He is great at what he does, and he offers some unique add ons to his DJing including his amazing acoustic cocktail hour and first dance. Shawn sang and played acoustic guitar for our guests during cocktail hour, filling the room with an awesome atmosphere and kicking off our wedding reception in a special way. He also sang our first dance for us which was really special and I think impressive for the guests. He is an excellent DJ who knows how to blend music genres together to create continuity so the guests never stop dancing. He was a great MC and was great with holding everyone's attention when he needed to. He did great work for us and we loved having him as our DJ! He was very flexible for meeting times and catering to our wants and needs. He provided us awesome up lighting too. My only complaint is that we had to miss his acoustic cocktail hour To take our formal photos!

Shawn was responsive both in person and by email. My husband felt he was friendly and helpful in all their dealings, and Shawn was accommodating to our tastes while also providing great suggestions. We loved that he got so excited about our "first dance" choices- it really hyped us up for the wedding! He was professional, on time, and provided everything we needed including microphones for our ceremony and maid of honor and best man speeches. He is a great emcee and also cooperated with the venue to understand the acceptable volume level for the surrounding neighborhood. Shawn was warm and a pleasure to work with. Before our wedding we had heard only great things about Shawn and he did not disappoint. We met Shawn through a referral from one of our vendors. We checked out his videos, reviews and website and headed to interview him. We instantly realized that he is the guy we want to MC and DJ for us as he is a very down to earth and likable guy. We cancelled the other interviews and plopped down the down payment.

We made the right choice: from his ability to find a copy of Kenji Kawai's "Innocence" to accompany our cupcake cutting with Katana (yeah, we went loco) to awesome photobooth (highly reommend!!!), and finally to rolling with groom's bouqet toss acompanied by Kelis' "Milkshake".

His equipment is top notch. He showed up early to set everything up and seemed to be in three places at the same time! He set-up equipment for the ceremony, for cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. All went flawlessly. His MC skills are unparalleled. The roof was on fire.

Shawn was great! With our wedding being outside of the city we live in, his flexibility was key. Between the video chat we did to 'meet' him, and our prep the month before in person when we were in town, he was always available to us for any questions we had. Shawn provided acoustic guitar and DJ services for both our ceremony and wedding reception in August and we continue to receive compliments on the music months later. He was extremely knowledgeable and flexible and the music was enjoyed by everyone, old and young. Shawn went above and beyond throughout the process and gave us helpful tips and advice on much more than just the music. We met with him in person twice to talk about the event and exchanged numerous emails; he was very attentive and continually offered great feedback.
