The absolute best in the DMV area!

From the moment I booked, Amy made the entire process so easy. She was incredibly helpful with coordinating everything, answered every question I had from booking to my trial and throughout all the planning leading up to the big day. I always felt supported and knew I was in great hands.

Erica did a fabulous job on everyone's hair! She made each person look absolutely beautiful while making sure they felt comfortable throughout the process. She checked in often, asked questions, and made sure every girl loved the direction their hairstyle was taking. Her attention to detail and genuine care really stood out.

April made me feel so confident and beautiful with my makeup. She is truly the queen of soft glam! Not only is she an incredibly talented makeup artist, but she's also such a kind and wonderful person. Her calming presence on the morning of my wedding immediately put me at ease, and I couldn't have imagined getting ready with anyone else.

I truly could not have asked for a better beauty team for my wedding day. They made the entire experience seamless, stress-free, and so much fun. I can't recommend them enough!

I've Never Felt so Beautiful!!

I can’t say enough amazing things about Vintage Veils and the incredible team I was luck enough to have for my wedding day — Jenna, Erica, and Sveta! They brought such wonderful energy and positivity to the morning of my wedding and helped set the perfect tone for the day.

They made me, my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law all feel absolutely beautiful. Each of them listened so thoughtfully to what we wanted and created looks that felt both natural and special. My hair and makeup held up perfectly all day and night, and I truly felt my best walking down the aisle.

Fantastic Experience

Vintage Veils were so easy to work with and made both myself and our wedding party look beautiful. During my trial, my artists Nicole and Holly, were able to take my inspiration pics and create unique looks that I loved. On the day of the wedding, they were prompt and helped us stick to our timeline. They were able to work with each member of my wedding party to create looks they were comfortable with, and everyone looked amazing. They also left me with the perfect touchup kit so that I looked great throughout the entire day. I can’t recommend them enough!

Highly Recommend!

I was so happy that Vintage Veils was available for my wedding day hair and makeup! Nancy was so sweet and calm despite styling 9 girls' hair by herself. She even finished early, leaving extra time for our touch-ups. Tamekia and Jen split 10 girls' makeup and did an incredible job. My bridesmaids and I were so happy with how our hair and makeup turned out. Everyone's looks lasted throughout the night and looked great on camera. I highly recommend working with Vintage Veils!

Never felt more beautiful!!

This team is a complete power house!!! I was matched with Nicole for makeup and Laken for and let me tell you they knocked it out of the park. Your experience starts with connecting with Amy, the owner who pairs you with a makeup artist and hairstylist. As it gets closer to your date, you come in for a trial at their beautiful studio, where you are immediately greeted with a warm hug by Amy. The Hollywood waves that Laken put in were executed to PERFECTION. Amy checked in with me the next day to see how I felt about the look and I realized that I actually wanted a more tousled look. She took her notes down to communicate with Laken for the wedding day and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect look. My guests were complimenting my hair and makeup all night long. For all the weddings my bridesmaids have been in, they’ve never been super happy with their makeup. Nicole pays attention to your texture, your oils, and will be completely honest with you if she doesn’t think a shade will compliment your skin tone. Absolute professionals!!!

Beautiful Makeup and Hair

My bridal make up came out absolutely stunning and my hair held up most of the night despite the humidity and rain. It was pretty affordable for bridal MUA/hair in this area. My bridesmaids all loved their final looks too.

Amazing experience!

I had an amazing experience with vintage veils from start to finish! Jasika did me and my bridesmaids hair for my wedding day and she was absolutely amazing! Not only did everyone’s hair look beautiful, but she was so fun to be around and chat with. I had a large bridal party and she handled it with ease. When it was my turn I felt like she took extra time to listen to what I wanted (since I changed my style from our trial) and made sure it was perfect:) I felt so beautiful and the style lasted all day and night even through some rain! Great experience

We were very happy with our experience with Vintage Veils. Jasika and Autumn were prompt, professional, friendly, and fit right in with our bridal party. There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing my experience was with Vintage Veils. Jess and April did me and my girls’ hair and makeup and we all absolutely loved it! They are very reasonably priced and the service was above and beyond!! They made me feel so at ease and were very personable. They were very responsive and answered any questions I had along the way. Amazing Team!

I had Annie, Jen, Erica, and Laken as my make-up and hair team. They were beyond amazing! Especially, Annie and Erica who were beyond rockstars the day of. Of note, they were so amazing with my niece who can be a bit shy at first and apparently hates having her hair done. Yet, she sat with Erica who was so gentle and engaged with her and had no issues whatsoever. Her mother was amazed. They were wonderful with all of my bridal party and truly made everyone feel beautiful. I’m so grateful to the entire team for being so relaxed and working with each individual to ensure they were happy. Honestly, words can’t even describe how amazing they were but I hope what I said did their abilities some justice. I would recommend all of these women 1000x over.

The BEST Glam Squad!

Amy and the Vintage Veils team are amazing! I had the pleasure of working with Erika & Holly for hair and Tamekia & Jen for makeup and was blown away! The trial at the VV studio makes you feel like you are hanging out with a group of girlfriends for the day and that energy continues into the wedding day! The team was so fun to have while we were getting ready and got all 10 of us (Bride, 5 bridesmaids, MOB, MOG, Grandmother & Sister) all on schedule and feeling so good about our looks! Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!

While I might be biased (because it was my wedding) I think this was one of the best hair/ makeup experiences I have ever had! To start from the beginning, I was suppose to be a 2020 bride who got pushed to 2021. Amy was incredibly flexible as I navigated the new date, respecting the original contract and payment options, and was understanding about changing hair and makeup needs. Then, when I had my trial, I had the best experience trying to discover what worked for my day and me, and truly felt pampered in the process! Everyone (esp. my personal team Julia and Lucja) were so kind and made me feel like such a beautiful bride! I decided, though they did exactly as I asked, that I wanted to try a different look and Amy and her team worked tirelessly to find a day for me to come and get a retrial. They worked overtime to ensure I felt comfortable walking out of the retrial and loved what my wedding day hair and makeup would be. Fast forward to the wedding day and I had 14 girls getting hair done and 6 getting makeup including me. Lucja and Julia nailed everyone's look and stayed on time and professional in a very tight timeline (7 am to 12 pm). Everyone looking amazing, they were very reasonably priced, and they were so sweet! I can't speak highly enough of Vintage Veils and recommend everyone book them for their wedding!

Picture Perfect Make-Up and Hair

Tamekia and Erika did my daughter's wedding party make-up and hair and we could not have been happier! Tamekia worked her magic on each one of us, explaining the steps and products she used to make each of us look amazing! We were of different ages and skin types and she made each of us beautiful! Erika's work on our hair was equally amazing, again with different lengths and hair types to have to work with. Both women were very easy to work with and very professional. I would highly recommend this team!

Vintage Veils was one of the first vendors I booked and I'm SO glad I did! I firmly believe in the "look good feel good" motto which is why hair and makeup was important to me on my wedding day. Amy was very responsive and answered all of my questions from the get go. My trial was fun and thorough and we made sure to discuss anything that needed tweaking. I’ve never felt more beautiful

When I had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID, and our original hair and make up artists weren’t available, we found vintage veils, and I am SO THANKFUL we did because they made me feel so beautiful. Amy was so responsive with all of our questions and concerns. Jen made myself, and all of my bridesmaids look absolutely flawless, and the makeup lasted all night. Nancy’s ability to style hair is astounding. All of my bridesmaids hair (whether short, long, curly, straight, thick or thin) was exactly what they had envisioned, including my own hair! I am so thankful to this company and these ladies for making me feel the most beautiful and confident I have ever felt on my wedding day.

Literally my squad was GLOWING

OK talk about a glow-up, Tameika absolutely slayed my and my bridal party's makeup. She was thoughtful, kind, considerate and most of all - made everyone in my squad (10+ people) look super freaking glam. I am thrilled to report that Tameika made the wedding day even better with her laid back vibes, easy-going conversation and killer beauty skills. She even put my mom, who doesn't wear makeup like ever, at ease and made her look and feel so beautiful! Vintage Veils knows what they are doing in the makeup department - hire them without delay!!! Amy and her team were flexible when I had to change my date, one of my bridesmaids couldn’t come last minute, our location changed, and I hit panic mode because of COVID.

I first encountered Vintage Veils for a friend's wedding in 2018 and loved the experience so much I booked them for my own wedding last year - in fact they were the first vendor I booked. Amy has such a calming presence and makes you feel comfortable instantly - we also have the same taste in music so that was an added bonus during my trial. I also worked with Meeks and Erica - they were amazing! I loved having them be a part of my day. They made me and my girls feel fantastic. Stress Free Wedding

Amy surrounds herself only with the most professional, skilled and kind hair and makeup artists. They will make you feel beautiful by their words and by their work.

Having my hair and makeup done didn't seem so important to me at first, but let me tell you that it made all the difference the day of the event as the mother of the bride. I felt no stress in making breakfast for 25 people and enjoying everyone's company because I didn't have to worry about anything except slipping into my dress at the last minute. My hair was over the top amazing and so was the bride's, and our makeup was perfect until we took it off late that night.

Those pictures of how you look will be around forever - make sure you look your best!!! Amy and her team are amazing!

I had my wedding on October 12, 2019 and had Amy & Erica as my makeup/hair stylists. From the beginning, Amy was so responsive with all of the information, helpful with picking times for trials, and clear with pricing models, etc. I actually ended up going back for a 2nd hair trial to try with extensions and they were so helpful with bringing me back in another time around. Amy & Erica traveled 2.5 hours to my venue, were exactly on time, and helped make all of my bridal party look absolutely perfect. They were so patient with everyone's requests, add ons day of, etc. My hair and makeup also came out exactly how I wanted and I never felt more beautiful. Thank you both for making my day so special. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

YES recommend!

I had an excellent experience with my hair and make-up team. Kennedy (hair) and Tamekia (make-up) came to my mom's house at 8am the morning of the wedding for hair for 7 people and make-up for 5 people. They were easygoing and fun to be around, and cool under pressure and the madness of the morning!
Of course they have excellent skill and did an amazing job, but what's more is that they really wanted me to be happy with my look, and were never offended if I didn't like the way something looked.

Amy the owner is also great to work with, I booked them several months out and had no idea how many of the women in my family would want their services, and Amy kept changing the contract for me to suit what I needed.
Everyone was beautiful!!! And most importantly felt beautiful and confident!

Absolutely amazing!

I found Amy and Vintage Veils after through my photographer. They had worked together in the past, and I had seen Vintage Veils’ work in Kate Ann Photography’s portfolio. I knew instantly that I really wanted to work with Amy and her team. I was lucky enough to secure them for my wedding and I honestly couldn’t have been happier. Amy and her team are very professional, and make you feel right at home in their chairs. BONUS: they are also awesome people!

I got to work with Amy and Erica, Amy did the makeup for my wedding and Erica did the hair. I had a few trials with Amy and Erica. I wasn’t sure if I wanted my hair up or down, so I had two trials to figure it out. When I finally decided on down, I had a BOX of hair accessories, and I wasn’t sure which one(s) I wanted to use. Amy and Erica helped me pick my favorites, and then Erica worked her magic and created a custom piece by putting them all together… LOVED IT! They also suggested that I come back in for another trial on the same day I was going to my dress fitting, so that I could see it the whole look together before the big day—that was an amazing suggestion, and I highly recommend to everyone!

On the wedding day, Amy and Erica were wonderful! My Mom was a little nervous about her hair and makeup since she had never had any of that done professionally before—they were so patient and made sure that she was comfortable with her look and made her feel amazing! Every one of my bridesmaids looked and felt amazing, I can’t thank Vintage Veils enough for helping to make the day perfect!

Amazing hair stylist!

Vintage Veils is incredible!! Caleigh did my hair, my 7 bridesmaids, mother and Mother-In-Law's hair! She is SO talented and SUCH a genuinely nice person. She made me feel so comfortable during my trial and on the day of the wedding. She gave me the most perfect up-do and also incorporated a small hairpiece. She truly wanted every detail of each our hair to be perfect and made sure to do any touch-ups! Our wedding was outside in June and my hair lasted all day/night and into the next morning! :) I loved working with Vintage Veils and Caleigh and would recommend them to anyone!

Amy of Vintage Veils has a fantastic team of talented makeup artists (Julia) and hair stylists (Caleigh) that are extremely positive and supportive of each other and their clients. They all made sure I was comfortable and understood that, as a messy bun and chapstick girl, it was important that I still felt like myself. During our makeup trial they were enthusiastic about trying different styles and made great recommendations re: how to personalize things I had found on Pinterest. I highly recommend Vintage Veils and can't thank them enough for making me feel so special!

Talented Stylists!!

Obsessed with VV!

Oh my gosh, could not be happier with the decision to hire Vintage Veils for hair styling on my wedding day! I had already hired a makeup artist beforehand but would have GLADLY hired VV for both services otherwise. Amy, the owner, was so wonderful to work with- sweet, supportive and responsive. My stylist was Kennedy and she is amazing! Did the best long, braided boho hair I could have ever hoped for on my big day. Super sweet and willing to do whatever you ask her. So easy going and fun to work with, she has such a positive attitude. I was also SO pleased with the prices. I scoured hair stylists due to style and cost and was struggling to find the right fit. I was looking for laidback, loose styles and VV nails those! Cannot believe I stumbled across them on here but could not be happier. Highly HIGHLY recommend. Side note: do a trial so you can see the cutest little boho studio ever!!

So pretty and so kind!

Vintage Veils did an EXCELLENT job with our hair and makeup needs. We had a wedding with two brides and several brides maids, all with different skin and hair of varying types. The owner, Amy, was kind and professional for the entire experience. The ladies we used (Autumn and Holly) we complete champs and rolled with the punches the day of our trial and the day of our wedding. This company came highly recommended by two other friends of ours who had gotten married in the last year, and they did not disappoint! Would hire them over and over- and am so thankful for their professionalism and talent! Thanks for making us all so pretty on our wedding day! ❤️🌈

Amy is the absolute sweetest! She was so helpful, not only on making my dream makeup and hair come true for my big day but months leading up would quickly get back to me on any questions I was having. Love them!

I don't have enough good things to say about Vintage Veils!! I don't live in the area and they were very accommodating setting up my trial the only weekend I could be in Maryland (I mean these girls came in during a snow storm). Tamekia and Kennedy were so great to work with and chat with while getting ready. They fit in perfectly with my bridal party and were so fun! Kennedy could replicate any hair style your showed her and make it look absolutely perfect! I don't know what magic Tamekia was working, but my makeup has never been that perfect for so long. Do yourself a favor and reach out to Amy and the rest of the ladies at Vintage Veils. You will not be disappointed!!

Vintage Veils is amazing. All of the stylists listen to what you want and make it happen. Not only is their work completely beautiful, Amy is a pleasure to work with. She is a great business woman and she is an awesome personality to have with you on your big day. She worked with me and my LARGE bridal party and was flexible throughout the process when I needed to make changes to the contract. Most importantly, she helped me relax and enjoy the morning of our wedding day. I also need to give a shout out to Erica who did my hair--she helped me through two hair trials and managed to secure "Cindy," my hair extension piece, to my head flawlessly. Vintage Veils is the best there is!

I seriously do not even know where to begin with Vintage Veils. Amy, the owner, is truly a master of her craft. It is amazing to watch work. She is an absolutely amazing person, and this past year of visits for hair and make-up trials, she has become my friend. She is extremely professional and has created a thriving business that is only continuing to grow! I went for 3 other trials at other places and just felt like they were not understanding what I wanted, or we weren't vibing or something. The second I met Amy and barely explained what I wanted for my make-up, she said 'I know exactly what you want - say no more', and boom - when I saw myself, I almost cried. I have been in a lot of wedding where we got our make-up done, and I have never seen anyone has talented as Amy. PLEASE do not look anywhere else - Vintage Veils is IT. I have never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day, and that is all thanks to Amy and Caleigh (who did my hair). I am so happy we went with Vintage Veils - Amy and her team are absolutely wonderful to work with. She was very helpful, and always honest. I could tell she is not in this just for the money. The owner, Amy Wild, is one of the nicest people I have ever met! The Vintage Veils team made me feel beautiful and my best for my wedding day. Tamekia did our makeup, and Caleigh did our hair. Wow. I'm truly speechless. Tamekia and Caleigh did the most amazing job for my wedding. Not only did my hair and makeup look FLAWLESS, my bridesmaids looked unbelievable. I actually had multiple guests compliments how amazing the bridesmaids looked. So many times, the bridesmaids makeup/hair isn't that great and looks like an after thought. Not the case with Tamekia and Caleigh! They spent so much time making sure everyone loved their hair/makeup.

My hair was everything I dreamed of and more - It was so elegant and complimented my dress perfectly. Caleigh also spent time showing us how to put my veil in to make sure it didn't mess up my hair when removing it.

My makeup was out of this world. I've never looked so good, I was an enhanced version of myself and Tamekia accomplished making it look like I barely had any makeup on :) She is so talented! Every person at the wedding asked who did our hair and makeup - and at 1 am my hair and makeup was still looking PERFECT! I actually got back to my hotel room and was kind of sad to take it off.

Finally - it was so fun getting to spend my wedding day getting ready with Tamekia and Caleigh. They were such a joy to chat with and made it fun! They were also freakishly on time which is no easy feat when you are traveling over the bay bridge.

I can't thank you enough, my wedding would not have been the same without Vintage Veils!!

Ladies, do yourself a favor and stop looking around at other hair/makeup vendors and book Vintage Veils already!! I actually booked Amy and Erica without meeting them in person (planning a Maryland wedding from Ohio often didn't allow that). They were a recommended vendor from our photographer, and their posted work on Instagram sold me. Amy was great to work with over email while we figured out the fine details, and was patient with me and my 500 questions. When I finally met them in March for my trial, I knew I made the right choice. I'm not the most hair/makeup savvy, but Amy and Erica were able to take my pictures and vague ideas and turn them into the most beautiful bridal look ever. And on the day of the wedding, I had nothing to worry about. Amy and Erica were on time, fully prepared, and contributed to the relaxed, fun atmosphere I wanted the bridal suite to be while all the girls were getting ready. Their timeline was perfect: they were even able to add on an additional makeup service, and all the girls were able to get a final touch up- a fixed bobby pin, an extra spritz of setting spray- before it was time to start getting dressed. When I looked in the mirror, I felt like the most beautiful bride ever, and I hadn't even put my dress on yet! And even better: it rained the entire day of our wedding (and not like a little drizzle of rain- I'm talking a torrential downpour), and everyone's hair and makeup stayed perfectly all day long. I seriously cannot recommend Vintage Veils enough. I know there are other on-site beauty services available, but they just can't beat not only the quality, but also the personal touch Vintage Veils provides. Thank you Amy and Erica for everything, you're the best!! :)

I can't stress enough how PERFECT everyone's hair came out. Amy was so sweet and helpful and was able to squeeze me in for a trial even though I waited so long to book one. Our stylist Sarah was incredible. She was able to do 9 updos on her own with time to spare for touch ups and everyone's hair was exactly what they asked for and looked so beautiful. My hair I was obsessed with, she did a more perfect job than I ever could have asked for and was so sweet and fun to work with. If you don't have a hair and makeup vendor yet, book these wonderful, beautiful ladies!

Amy and her team are AMAZING! I chose Amy for my wedding hair and make up, along with all of my bridesmaids and mothers of bride/groom. Her skill sets her apart from the rest. She really creates what you envision of what you want to look like for your big day and makes sure everything is perfect and nothing is out of place. I hope to have somewhere fancy to go in the future sometime just so I can call her again for her wonderful services. :) I also recommend doing a trail for yourself, just to get a feel for what you like/don't like or might want to change. The owner of Vintage Veils, Amy, was absolutely a delight to work with completely by phone, text, and e-mail. Her approach of questioning me about my daughter's destination wedding and the amount of traveling it would take gave us each an opportunity to interview each other. I liked that very much. Amy could not attend our wedding but she asked her outstanding staff members Tineka ( makeup) and Erica ( hair) if they would travel the 4 hr each way. They graciously agreed and we were blessed with true artists with very wonderful personalities who did all they could to make my daughter's wedding party member's look beautiful.
These two outstanding women, each, handled 7 girls ages 5-67. Tineka looked at each persons face shape, skin type, and used various high quality makeup brands to make us look natural with enough makeup to accentuate our natural coloring. When she was done we all looked like knockouts!
Erica made each hair style suitable to that girl or woman in a style that was exactly what they wanted. She handled different hair lengths, hair textures, styles with ease as if she had been doing each persons hair for years. She jumped in and helped each of us feel calm, have fun and just help with anything we needed. She stayed after doing our hair and helped us to dress. She certainly went the extra mile.
We had numerous compliments about how pretty everyone looked. My daughter,looked absolutely stunning.
We were so very lucky to have this outstanding team. From the trial run to the wedding day my daughter felt comfortable & enjoyed being with the girls so very much.She wanted to tweak a couple of things on her wedding day and this was done with ease. Thank you for sending these 2 wonderful artists to us. Doing hair and make up on site is the way to go. Even in a tiny mountain cabin with little light these two professionals made the best of things and turned out works of art. Thank you Tineka and Erica for all you did. Definitely 5+ stars

I had the best experience with Vintage Veils. My photographer recommended them to me, and I couldn't have gotten luckier with a wonderful team of ladies! I met Amy, the owner, and Caleigh and Tamekia, my stylists, during my bridal trial and they were so welcoming and incredibly nice. After describing what I envisioned for my wedding hair and makeup, both Caleigh and Tamekia exceeded my expectations and made me look beautiful. They were both very open to feedback and were flexible in making adjustments that I requested. Amy took pictures and sent them to me via email after my appointment so I could have them for reference. I highly recommend the bridal trial!

On my wedding day, Caleigh and Tamekia were fantastic and made me and my bridal party feel so relaxed and delivered exactly what we wanted. They also finished hair and makeup ahead of schedule, which was a huge plus. I felt incredibly beautiful and couldn't have asked for a better team to work with. Vintage veils = Amazing experience! I was a ball of nerves on my wedding day and I was instantly relaxed and enjoying myself once they started my hair and makeup. Down to earth, fun, and professional experience. Amy never made me feel rushed during my trial and they really listened to what I wanted and came up with great solutions for me when I had no clue. One of the absolute best decisions I made for my wedding was picking Amy and Val as our hair and makeup artists. The two of them are so talented and so incredibly easy to work with. Their goal is to make sure you walk down the aisle looking like the most beautiful version of your self. They listened to what each of us wanted and everyone was glowing. Sydney from Vintage Veils did wedding makeup for my mom, my bridesmaids, and me at my October 2017 wedding. She was wonderful! My fiancé and I were on a budget, and makeup was something I was going to skip until a bridesmaid pointed out that I usually run late, and having a makeup artist would keep us on time and relaxed. She was right, and I'm so glad we did makeup. I'd never had my makeup done before my trial, and I didn't realize how fun and relaxing it would be. Amy, the owner of Vintage Veils, and Sydney were both so friendly and helpful. I'm glad I did a trial; makeup the day of the wedding went smoothly since we already had a makeup plan from the trial. Sydney kept my makeup soft, which is what I wanted, and all of my bridesmaids loved her. She is fun and easy to talk to. Everyone felt beautiful and relaxed on the wedding day. Thank you, Sydney!!

The ladies at Vintage Veils are nothing short of amazing. From their talented hair & makeup skills to their personalities, I absolutely loved being around them on my wedding day! They brought so much joy & laughter to the room while us girls were getting ready! I actually joked with Amy that I would love it if she could do my makeup every day of the week. My bridesmaids and mother also had wonderful things to say about Amy and Erica. Everyone loved their hair and makeup, and received compliments all night about how good they looked. I would highly recommend using Vintage Veils for any wedding day needs! I'm telling you these girls are the BEST around!!

I am so happy I chose to use Vintage Veils for my wedding. I had Annie as my makeup artist and Kennedy for hair and they were both amazing! They did not only an awesome job on me but also my wedding party. They also accommodated last minute needs with no hesitation at all and stuck to the timeline. Working with them was super stress free and communicating with the owner, Amy, was a breeze which is so reliving for a super stressed bride!

5 stars all around for Amy and Erica!! Both of these ladies are super talented at their crafts, create such a warm and relaxed get-ready atmosphere, and are super accommodating. I'm very glad I did a hair and make-up trial, since it was my first time getting both professionally done. It gave me a better idea of what I wanted and allowed me to work with Amy & Erica in advance of my big day. On the day-of, I had 3 bridesmaids and 2 moms getting their hair & make-up done (along with myself). Even when one of my bridesmaids decided last minute she wanted to join in on the fun and get her hair styled, Erica was super flexible and not once were we behind schedule. Amy even brought extra false eyelashes in case anyone changed their mind...which they did :) So prepared!! I would highly recommend Vintage Veils to anyone. The level of glam and service you get for the price simply cannot be beat! P.S. I wanted to play up my naturally curly hair, but am super picky when other people style it, but Erica was simply a dream! She totally understood how to use my natural texture in the look I wanted. Thank you both for being so fantastic and carrying out my bridal vision!!

Thank you Vintage Veils!!!! As the pickiest bride, I can honestly say Amy and Erica were relaxed, understanding, and genuinely wanted to make sure I felt beautiful on my big day and I DID. They know how to apply makeup to best suit different face shapes instead of solely going off off of a picture and it stayed on ALL day & night. Several of my friends used Vintage Veils for their weddings and I was so glad that I decided to as well. Amy and her team were so friendly, accommodating and easy to work work! Erica and Tamekia were our hair and makeup stylists for the day and they were a dream to work with. They showed up right on time and were ready to go. We had a small group (4 people) and we never felt rushed or pressured and had plenty of time. I was ready ahead of schedule which made me feel relaxed and calm the rest of the day. Everyone loved their hair and makeup, when I had a concern over hair falling, Erica was great and taking a step back looking at the big picture and making a few tweaks while still give me the look I wanted! I would be happy to recommend Vintage Veils to anyone looking for hair and makeup (I actually already have) and would use them again in a heartbeat!

I cannot say enough great things about Amy and her crew at Vintage Veils. First, I am not the type of girl who typically wears much makeup... I arrived to my trial in my gym clothes, less than knowledgeable about what I wanted honestly - Amy and Tamekia took me right in, worked some magic, and we had a blast. I was thrilled with the outcome to say the least.

On my wedding day, Tamekia was absolutely fantastic and my girlfriends and family who received makeup services were blown away by not only her talent and ability, but also her flexibility - if they wanted something changed or altered slightly, Tamekia was totally willing to do whatever was necessary to make sure my girls were all 1000% happy with the service they received.

I would recommend Vintage Veils for hair and makeup over and over again!

It was so wonderful to work with Vintage Veils for hair and makeup for my daughter's wedding. I would highly recommend vintage veils for wedding make up. When I was assigned to Tamekia, we set up a trial and due to not communicating what I wanted properly and being very indecisive I wanted to meet for a retrial (not because of the art Tamekia did, but because I gave wrong instructions). During the retrial, Tamekia and the owner (Amy) worked together to make sure I was happy with the results. They let me look in the mirror after every move in case I wanted to make a change. On my wedding day, Tamekia arrived early, set-up, and was done the girls perfect timing. When I looked in the mirror the first time on my wedding day, I felt absolutely beautiful. Congrats Tamekia for being at the top of your art. You are an extremely talented person.

I was so excited to work with Amy and her team from Vintage Veils. They were totally willing to travel and accomodate my schedule for the trial and the day of. They did an amazing job on my hair and makeup and all the bridesmaids as well. They were totally accommodating to any style the girls wanted and everyone looked amazing. Vintage Veils is INCREDIBLE. From the Trail Hair and Make-up at their boutique, to the day of Make-up and Hair, Amy and her team were attentive, accommodating, courteous, and just down right fun! My wedding was early (9:30am). In order to fit all 7 ladies who wanted both hair AND make-up, her team arrived to the hotel at 6am! Throughout the morning, every picture was executed to perfection, for both hair and make-up. Each one of us walked away feeling the best version of ourselves - myself as the bride felt AMAZING! We rented a boat later that night that picked us up in the harbor at 7pm, and even after a quick afternoon nap, my hair and make-up still stayed together for the boat. I honestly could not have asked for a better experience with Vintage Veil. I would, and will, recommend them to anyone that asks!!

I had a great experience with Vintage Veils. Amy couldn't have been sweeter during the planning process and Val was amazingly talented with our hair! We had a somewhat large party (myself, 6 bridesmaids, mother of the bride and mother of the groom) and she finished with a lot of time to spare, even after squeezing in my aunt who was staying on site and hanging out with us while we were getting ready. She made sure everyone was 110% satisfied with their style, even if it meant re-doing something. She could have left right after she finished, but she waited for the florist to arrive (who was a little late, ugh) with a flower comb for my hair and thank goodness she did! The florist didn't put the comb together very well, and Val had to put in some bobby pins around it to make sure the flowers would stay all night. I would definitely recommend Vintage Veils to any brides out there!

Amy and Val did an incredible for job me and my 7 bridesmaids on my wedding morning. Amy arrived early (on our already super early morning) to ensure everything was set to go on schedule for makeup, and Val was great with moving the girls along with curl prep prior to styling. Amy was so accommodating throughout the entire process, extremely professional, and is such a sweetheart in general... Always complimenting and making it all about her client! During the trial, she will admit if a color isn't working for your skin tone, and will test until she (and you) are satisfied. I have to admit, I had stress break-outs on both cheeks the morning of my wedding, but Amy did an amazing job making it almost completely unnoticeable, and the makeup stayed in place all day long until I was finally drenched in sweat on the dance floor at the end of the night, ha! In addition to top-notch makeup artistry, Amy has such an uplifting personality and entrepreneurial spirit, she is hands-down someone you want on your wedding vendor team!!

I had the most amazing experience using Vintage Veils for my wedding! Amy and Val were so awesome to work with leading up to my wedding and especially on the big day. They set the tone for the morning by keeping us on a great schedule for both hair and makeup, allowing the beginning of the day to be very laid back, relaxing and fun! I can honestly say that all of the ladies who got their hair and makeup done were thrilled with the results! Amy and Val listened to everyone's vision for their looks and executed them flawlessly. I couldn't believe how well everything held up after 5 hours of dancing at my reception-- not a hair out of place or smudge of makeup to be found! If you want to look like a gorgeous glamazon on your wedding day, look no further. On my hair and makeup trial day, Amy and Erica took the time to ask me exactly how I wanted to look. I showed them pictures and gave some vague descriptions of what I liked and didn't like (I was going for a modern Hollywood glam look), and by the end of the trial I was completely blown away and SO EXCITED for my wedding day. The day of the wedding, Amy and Erica were on time, so much fun, and calmed my bridezilla nerves. They made prep time completely stress free. By the time my hair and makeup was finished, I felt like a total queen. I cannot recommend them enough! I promise you will not be disappointed and you will thank me later!!

Vintage Veils was recommended to me by my friend and photographer. To say that I was satisfied with the services would be an understatement. My artist did absolutely stunning makeup for each and every of my 8 bridesmaid as well as myself. I have never felt more beautiful in my life and it showed in the photos. The entire company and experience was easy and professional from start to finish. The artist was on time and ran on a stress free and efficient time line (this was one of my biggest fears that I have seen at other weddings). I highly recommend the make up trail as it gave me a great starting point to what I wanted to see on our special day. My husband raved all evening about how flawless and natural the makeup was and guests constantly stopped to compliment the look. The lashes were a fun and amazing plus that I would highly suggest for a flawless glamour look. When trying to decide who I wanted to use for my wedding beauty it was a no brainer. I was actually so excited when I got engaged that I reached to Amy before I even had a date in place! These girls are amazing! They showed up on time and ready to work on my wedding morning! Not only were they positive and fun, but they kept us on track! Trying to corral 6 bridesmaids, 3 moms and a bride to get hair and makeup done in just a few short hours is not an easy task and they tackled it with poise and grace! They were so happy and fun - it was like we were just hanging out with old friends! Calmed my nerves a ton! What a perfect team! Amy and Val were the hair and makeup dream team during my friends wedding, they created such a fun and excited atmosphere and made every single bridesmaid and of course the bride look stunning. It was so easy for me to choose them for my own wedding! and I am so glad that I did. I could sit and stair at pictures of my maids for hours. They looked amazing-they all went for a pin-up vibe and wow, they all looked like models. And my look was perfect! exactly what I asked for but way way better than I could imagine. My mother and the mother of the groom also had hair and makeup done with Amy and Val, both moms hardly ever wear makeup and were slightly concerned about looking overdone. They were both thrilled with the results, a natural look that enhanced their features! Amy and Val listened to everyone and made everyone comfortable. It was a great way to start the wedding day.

I currently live in Jacksonville, Florida and was having a destination wedding at the Naval Academy in Annapolis. Therefore, I never had time to have a makeup trial prior to the wedding. (Something that is terrifying and I'm sure all brides can relate!) I looked at Vintage Veils online and thought their prices were competitive, and the makeup looked great in pictures. I ended up booking with Amy who was over the top accommodating. She set up a makeup trial for me the day before my wedding, and I could not have asked for anything better. On the day of my wedding, she showed up on time, and actually finished the entire bridal party early. (We had a total of 8 people get their makeup done.) The makeup looked PHENOMENAL and I honestly could not have asked for anything better. Amy made us look and feel like models. You would be crazy not to book Vintage Veils for your bridal makeup, they are the best!!

Amy at Vintage Veils is amazing! She managed my trials and all the details leading up to the wedding so perfectly and always with a hug and a smile. She brings a personal touch to her business that many wedding vendors don't, and it's genuine; she wants you to have an amazing experience. Amy paired me and my ladies with Erica for hair and Tamekia for makeup, and both were a perfect match!! Erica is so easy going, and Tamekia's good mood is contagious. Together they made my pre-wedding hours relaxing, light, fun, and some of the most memorable of the day. Tamekia made me, my bridesmaids, and my mother all look amazing! Amy from Vintage Veils was great. I hired her to provide makeup services since I had already booked a hairstylist. She was professional and a total sweetheart. During the trial run I was able to find what I really wanted, how it would look and feel and how long it would last. The morning of the wedding she arrived slightly early which put my mind at ease. My experience with Vintage Veils was awesome! I booked them really last minute, about two weeks before my wedding due to my original hair/makeup person not working out. From the beginning, Amy was so friendly and very flexible working with me and squeezing my trial run in before the wedding. Amy assured me I had nothing to worry about and kept me at ease the whole time! I was lucky to have Tamekia and Erica to do my hair and makeup. My trial run was great! The girls were super accommodating to what I wanted and open for feedback (although I barely had any, it all looked great). The girls were also really friendly, warm, and welcoming to my Mom and I on my trial day which meant a lot to us. On my wedding day, I had a very tight schedule, but Amy worked to make the hair/makeup timeline fit best and assured me her girls would be there on time...Tamekia and Erica ended up showing up early, which for me was great! All of my girls' hair and makeup were done on time and we were ahead of schedule! One of my bridesmaids decided she wanted her makeup done last minute and Tamekia was able to get it done- really happy about that! All of my girls loved their makeup and hair!! I am so happy with Vintage Veils! They made me and my bridesmaids feel beautiful -- Amy and Val are so talented! They both are very vocal and help you figure out exactly what you're looking for during the trial run. On the wedding day, both airbrush and standard makeup looked great on everyone and lasted all night. A night of wild dancing was no match for Val's updo work. I simply LOVE Vintage Veils and cannot say enough good things about the company and it's staff. Their willingness to go above and beyond the expected and their overall drive to achieve the look you desire is unmatched! I have used and recommend them to all my friends and family! I have had the pleasure of having both my hair and makeup done by Vintage Veils for 5 different weddings, 4 of which I was a bridesmaid. In addition, I have recommended and had 2 other friends use them for their weddings who were extremely happy.
Naturally, when it was my turn to get married I turned to Vintage Veils, and their expertise in all things hair and makeup, to bring the vision I had in my head to fruition. From my trial to minutes prior to walking down the aisle, they made sure I felt beautiful. All the ladies have always been punctual and come with the biggest smiles on their faces and totes full of makeup and hair supplies! Did I mention they are so easy to get along with?! I think the one thing I love the most is their genuine passion for their profession and the fact that they exude this the entire time they're with you. I will continue to recommend them to any and all of my friends and family looking for anything hair or makeup related. Vintage Veils simply cannot be beat!

I was so excited to hear that Vintage Veils was going to be doing our hair and makeup for my friends wedding! I was a bridesmaid and always worry about doing my hair and makeup, it was nice to not have to stress! I had heard amazing stories and had seen the photos and the work Vintage Veils had done and they did not disappoint! They were on time and very professional, they really took the time to get to know us and get a feel for what the bride wanted as well as what the bridesmaids wanted as well. Amy, the owner did my makeup and it looked amazing, she took her time on all of the bridesmaid making us each look perfect in our own way, she did the bride last and she looked stunning! Val did our hair, all of us were able to choose our own unique style and she was able to make them look different but with the same theme! I will definitely be using Vintage Veils again and I also highly recommend them!!
