  I cannot speak highly enough of Vimala's Curryblossom Cafe! From the menu planning to the execution they were absolutely amazing. They created an eclectic menu that stunned us and all of our guests. From the most delicious fish curry I've ever had to what was labeled the best fried chicken ever (a hard award to win among my family who grew up with Granny's traditional fried chicken!) everyone was blown away by the food. As a couple who loves to cook and share our love through food I couldn't have been happier with the way the food turned out! We had a very DIY wedding and it was lovely to be able to not have to worry about the catering in the slightest. They took care of every detail with the same love and attention that we would have given it to ourselves which allowed us to be more fully present in our celebration and with our guests. I wholeheartedly recommend!!!

  Vimala's food is always delicious! For our wedding, we had a bicultural menu of Southern barbecue and Peruvian dishes. Vimala went above and beyond to learn how to cook Peruvian food - everyone said it tasted like it was straight from Lima! She and her staff made us feel like family. They were such a joy to work with!

  Wonderful to work with, incredible food. Vimala can prepare anything you want: We had a variety of Indian dishes and a Greek salad bar, in addition to stuffed shells and barbecue. Rave reviews from guests, extremely professional.

  We LOVED our wedding catering from Vimala. She and her team went above and beyond with the food they provided -- everything was delicious, and our guests kept commenting on the quality of the food. To accompany cocktail our Vimala provided delicious dosas, chutneys, cheeses and crackers, pickles, and a mezze platter. Dinner was a buffet of chicken curry, vegetable curry, dal, breads, poppadoms, fabulous dips, salads, chicken skewers, and basmati rice. Vimala's daughter turned her amazing sticky toffee pudding cake into a wedding cake for us, and it was just fantastic. We couldn't have been happier with the quality or the presentation of the food. We were excited that Vimala packed up the leftovers for us to freeze and enjoy after the wedding (she made so much food!) We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Vimala's catering.

  Delicious Indian and Korean food at our wedding!

  Vimala was very kind and personal through the whole process. She was highly enthusiastic, always eager to try new things, and put both Indian and Korean food on the table during the wedding. The food was fantastic, and our guests loved it. She made Indian Chai for the reception, and many of our guests chose to drink that over alcohol. The Cafe also handled our event rentals and we didn’t have to worry about it. Highly recommended, especially if you want to serve something out of ordinary!

  Vimala's was great! We had a multicultural wedding, with half our guests being Indian, so we needed a wide variety of food. Since we had two ceremonies, starting at 11am, we provided lunch and dinner for our guests which was a lot to plan for. For lunch, we did Indian food and southern barbecue, and for dinner we had more substantial Indian dishes and Caribbean food for my Puerto Rican heritage. Everybody loved the food, and the service was unbelievable! They went above and beyond our expectations, and at the end of the night my mom gave us some additional cash for tips because she wanted to acknowledge the fantastic service.
  
  We had a tough time getting in touch with them at times during the planning, but they are a restaurant who does a lot of other things and not just a wedding catering company. With catering being so much of our budget and me being type-A, I wanted to get the final menu and full pricing settled earlier than we were able to, but it worked out just fine. We were a bit nervous because we had heard horror stories from our friends of other catering companies changing pricing last minute and screwing them over, but Vimala's is not like that at all. They honored everything we discussed and were flexible with a lot of menu and service changes we had as we worked through the planning. They're very trustworthy, and any fears were totally unfounded.
  
  I would absolutely recommend working with Vimala's if you want something different and better than the standard wedding catering, especially if you need Indian food! The chicken tikka was killer. Know that they may not work on the same timeline as actual catering companies, but you can trust that they will come through above and beyond your expectations and make amazing food for your big day!

  During the months of planning for my daughter's wedding, we had some concerns about the lack of responsiveness from Vimala's husband, Rush, who handles the catering business. It was very difficult to pin down a menu and price estimate from him. However, in the end we had no complaints: everything turned out fantastic. The Indian food was delicious and filling. The Kafta "meatballs" were praised by the carnivores as well as the vegetarians. The service team, including Rush, was on their game - both friendly and professional. So, I would give the planning phase only a 3 but the outcome a 5+. I think a lot of small restaurants/catering companies can't keep up with all the emails and phone calls from anxious couples, but then do everything in their power to put on a good show in the end.
