Villa Borghese was a great choice for my wedding. Nicole made the planning process actually enjoyable! She was very professional and efficient. She asked us exactly what she needed to know and executed the wedding perfectly. She created a magical night for us.
Our ceremony was beautiful and tasteful. Nicole was very detail oriented and made sure we all went out in order with perfect timing. After the ceremony, there were hor’ devours (delicious) and our signature drinks in the bridal suite so my HUSBAND!! and I could get some reprieve before heading to the cocktail hour.
The reception went off without a hitch and the food was phenomenal. We had salad, gelato as a palate cleanser, dinner (chateaubriand, salmon, chicken,or veg lasagna), and, of course, wedding cake and cookies. We got rave reviews of the cuisine from some extremely picky people.
Such a fun night all around.

Excellent!

Joe and his team were amazing during our wedding process. We changed our venue to the Villa Borghese just two months before the wedding date and they were helpful every step of the way. The weeks leading up and the day itself could not have gone better and we have gotten a ton of complements about the food. We are truly appreciative for how smoothly everything went.

Perfect venue for a perfect day

The Villa was an amazing venue for our wedding. Everything from the service to the food to the decor was beautiful and perfect. Joe was incredibly patient and helpful making the day come together and answering all of our questions. The garden was the perfect backdrop for the ceremony and the Venetian room and Crystal room were gorgeous for cocktail hour and reception, and just the right size for our small wedding of 60 people. We were able to use the back lawn to take beautiful photos as well. I even had a bridal attendant to help me and that made the day go even more smoothly. We didn't have to worry about a thing, and all our guests complimented the venue extensively. Not to mention, it was so affordable for the value of what we received. Would absolutely recommend.

Amazing venue!

My husband and I started wedding planning during the pandemic. Joe was amazing from the very beginning. He was so nice and made us feel welcomed. He did not pressure us into deciding which made us feel comfortable. He was with us every step of the way. Always updating us on the new CDC guidelines. I truly couldn’t have had a better experience overall from planning the wedding to the actual wedding day. EVERYONE who helped the day of the wedding made sure everything was taken care of. All my guests had nothing but nice things to say after the entire staff. The food was delicious & service was amazing. I’m so happy we picked Villa Borghese!

June 12th, 2021 Wedding

I cannot say enough about the Villa Borghese. I worked with Nicole, and she was so incredibly helpful, and so responsive and attentive to the hundreds of questions I had asked over the year and a half from booking to wedding. The food was absolutely amazing, and my guests were blown away. The day of staff were so attentive to me, especially when I was having panic moments before walking down the aisle offering support and reassurance. We absolutely loved our wedding here and definitely recommend it!

December 2019 Wedding

We had a great experience working with Villa Borghese for our wedding. Very helpful and professional and always friendly. Bridal suites are newly remodeled and modern. Food was great. They have a wide variety of uplighting colors to really transform your reception room to fit any wedding color palette. The entire experience working with them was easy and enjoyable. Winter wedding packages are affordable and a great value.

Everyone needs to get married here !

I have nothing but amazing things to say about the villa Borghese. Nicole was absolutely fantastic to work with and she was incredibly patient with all of my annoying questions. We had our ceremony in the outdoor garden area, cocktail hour on the patio & reception in the garden room.
The food was out of this world and my guests were AMAZED at all the different choices at cocktail hour. They even let us take a couple to go boxes of cocktail hour food home with us since we missed it taking pictures :)
If I had to go back to the beginning of wedding planing I would a million times over still choose the villa Borghese

Villa Borghese Wedding Review

Villa Borghese exceeded our expectations. Joe Porco and his staff were absolutely amazing in making this day memorable. The facility is beautiful and the food was fantastic and plentiful. Our guests raved about the facility and the food. Our daughter also had her ceremony outside at the Villa and they had it setup beautifully. The entire day went without a hitch and Joe and his staff are to be commended for that. We would highly recommend the Villa Borghese to anyone that is planning an event.

Absolutely Amazing

We had an AMAZING reception at the Villa Borghese! Joe and Nicole were extremely helpful.. I changed my mind about so many things during the planing process and Joe was very helpful. I had a budget and they were able to provide all we wanted and still stay within hour budget. The day went so smooth and the venue was gorgeous. Not to mention guest kept commenting on how great the food was! Highly recommended this venue!!

Initial review

Nicole is very professional and really gets to know the couple to give exactly what the couple needs for their wedding day. My wedding is not until 9/26/20. So far I have had many questions and opinions needed and she has been nothing but nice and responsive. I can't wait to see how my special day with my soon to be husband will be. I will be sure to update this review when the wedding is done. Im sure my review won't change! Most certainly worth the money they ask for. It gives the couples a no worry feeling on a very nerve wracking day and that is what we were exactly looking for!

An absolutely perfect reception!

When my now husband and I chose the Villa Borghese for our 480 person Indian wedding, it wasn't because of the gorgeous venue or the food, although those were certainly contributing factors. It was because of Joe Porco and the entire team at the Villa Borghese. From our very first meeting, Joe proved to be attentive, detail oriented and willing to go the extra mile to make our day perfect. Nothing was too much to ask. When we wanted to make changes to the menu, they were quick to accommodate us. When I came in with a ton of decor, they jumped right in to help us set it up. When my very particular parents popped in unannounced to talk over wedding details, they were more than happy to meet with us. Picking the villa was hand down the best decision we made throughout the entire wedding process. My guests are still raving about how stunning the venue is and just how abundant and amazing the food was. There were so many options and even my guests who regularly attend wedding in New York City, New Jersey, Miami etc were talking about just how delicious the food was. And don't even get me started on Venetian Hour. I was expecting a nice dessert table with decent selection of sweets for everyone. What we got was a full on show featuring FOUR tables, ice sculptures, sparklers, and more desserts than anyone could have imagined. My guests went crazy over it and it was probably the highlight of the night. I could honestly go on and on about how great this venue is. I have the pickiest guests and I have gotten so many compliments on how our wedding was one of the best weddings our guests have been to and I know it was because of our decision to book the Villa Borghese. Thank you guys so much for giving us the wedding of our dreams. I would recommend this venue a 1000 times over!

An absolutely amazing day

We had an amazing time at our wedding. Nicole was great to work with and I would highly recommend using her as your wedding coordinator. She was very knowledgeable and responded quickly to any emails I sent her. The venue is gorgeous and with their holiday decorations up it made the place look magical. You get a lot of food for your money and my guests could not stop raving about how delicious everything was. I also got a lot of complements on how good the cake was. I loved how they have so many rooms so we were able to have our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception in three different areas. My bridesmaids and I got ready in one of their bridal suits. We were provided with champagne and a cheese platter. I could not ask for a better day. Everything turned out perfect.

The Villa Borghese was an absolutely perfect place for my husband and I to have out wedding. The venue is beautiful, the staff is friendly and professional. The food was delicious!! We ended up having our ceremony inside because it wound up being too dark outside and I am so happy I trusted Paul to make that decision. The ceremony was held in the Crystal room and it was perfect! So many great things to say about this venue!

Everything at the Borghese was beautiful. From the first time we went there, you can tell how clean the space is and how friendly every person is. They are extremely accommodating and always responded immediately. Guest complimented how excellent the food was and the elegant appearance of the Villa borghese from the moment they arrived. We primarily worked with Joe, who was always very professional and understanding. He always remembered our names, even when we showed up unexpected. Anytime we emailed him a question he always checked in to see how all the planning was coming along. It truly felt as if we were working with a friend. We had completely forgot about the money we would be credited for not using the hotel rooms, but Joe was always honest with us and it was truly refreshing. I can't exclude the rest of the staff. From the ladies in the office, to the staff memebers the night of our wedding, everyone was exceptional. If I had to do this experience over again I would 100% choose the Villa Borghese again and I would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a venue.

Best way to describe my experience is, absolutely perfect! I have zero complaints for this venue. My wedding was on April 22, and the weather was even great but we had our ceremony indoors. The day of the wedding we had some rowdy groomsmen and we are thankful Joe was extremely considerate with dealing with them. Paul was able to sneak in the late guests before I walked down the aisle. Our cocktail hour was in the downstairs room and although we did not attend, we received a ton of food in the bridal suite. All of our guests said the cocktail hour was amazing. The reception was also perfect. Food was timely and delicious, and the attendants kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Even the affiliated vendors (La Delicioza - Bakery & The Marriott - Hotel) were wonderful! Throughout the entire process Joe was extremely accommodating and responsive. DO NOT think twice about booking this venue - just do it! You will not regret it. My wedding was everything I dreamed of and more. The Villa exceeded my expectations!

We got married on July 21, 2017 at the Villa Borghese and it was absolutely amazing! Our wedding day was perfect and we are so thankful to Nicole, Joe and everyone else for all of their help. Everyone that you meet is so helpful, friendly and accommodating. We had such a large wedding and so many last minute changes from having to move our ceremony indoors and having a close family member (my father/father of the bride) have a serious accident close two days prior to our wedding and the Villa worked with us to pull everything together. Thank you all so much for such a great day filled with loving memories that we will remember for the rest of our lives! We highly recommend Villa Borghese! The food, grounds, venue is all beautiful and top knotch. Thank you all so much once again! Wouldn't change a thing besides do it all again!

I just got married April 21 2017 and I can't truly express how amazing the staff and owners of the Villa Borghese were. They truly cared about making my day perfection. I worked with Nicole who managed to stay on top of everything when I was all over the place. Everything I requested was done. The evening couldn't have gone any better. The food was amazing my guest were so happy with everything from the cocktail hour to dinner to dessert ( all 260 people) They never skipped a beat and made my day a breeze. They are also so trustworthy. I accidentally overpaid the venue and did not even realize and Paul made sure to tell me I would receive the refund the night of my wedding and I did. From the staff prepping the room to the wait staff , bartenders they were amazing. I had ZERO issues. I truly appreciate their hard work into making mine and my husbands day so perfect. I also had to make sure certain items got home the next day and when I went to pick them up everything was packed up and ready to go. Thank you Paul and Nicole for making my day so special!!

There is nothing negative we can say about the Villa Borghese. Everyone was extremely professional and helpful, and a pleasure to work with. We worked directly with Paul and Jennifer throughout the planning, and were helped by Jordan on the wedding day. They made our wedding a truly memorable experience. The food was delicious, and every element of our wedding was perfect. The location was gorgeous and very well-maintained. It was evident they take pride in their venue. If we were ever to get married to each other again, we would absolutely use this location.

This review is very belated since I got married in August, 2015 and for that I have to apologize to the amazing Villa Borghese team . They deserve every accolade possible. However, I am beyond happy that my husband and I chose Villa Borghese for our venue. I booked the venue within hours after meeting with Jennifer,our consultant. Jennifer and the whole team (this is a family business) went above and beyond to make us happy and catered to my every (at times slightly neurotic) wish! We had a mixed White (civil) -and Indian (Hindu) ceremony and the team made sure that, not only the outdoor area where the ceremony took place catered to both cultures and the Hindu religious aspect, but also worked with us to make modifications to the menu to our satisfaction. The place is beautiful and the food was so good that our guests are still talking about it! Villa Borghese team was so tentative and so sharp that they prevented almost everything that seemed to begin to go wrong. And for the few things that did go wrong (nothing that Villa Borghese did), I had Jennifer right there beside me to make sure I relax and don't hyperventilate. I must have gone to the venue at least 10 times before the wedding took place to ask questions and they were always very courteous and patient with me and went out of their way to make my wedding the most amazing day! The venue is tasteful and airy, menu is delicious and plentiful, ambiance is warm, outdoors area dainty, team is energetic and professional and the pricing more than reasonable! Thank you Jennifer, Joe, Stanley & Paul.

Everything about this place is fantastic! The food was delicious, the building and grounds were beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the packages were a great value! Erica was able to provide a ton of suggestions for vendors and the whole staff was very accommodating. They made our wedding day so special. The Villa Borghese is absolutely the place to have your wedding reception! We are beyond thrilled with the outcome of our wedding. Sarah Porco, our consultant, went above and beyond to make us happy! The place is beautiful and the food is so amazing. All our guests are raving about our wedding and the Villa Borghese. The Viennese Hour at the end of the night blew us away! A year ago when we added it to our reception we thought a standard dessert cart would be brought out with an arrangement of pastries. This was true but to a much grander scale. I think about 7 very large tables came out with sparklers, a fire show and an ice sculpture!!! Each table was covered in mounds of desserts, fruits and so much more. There was a tower of cannoli's! We both are Italian so we were so impressed, we love our pastries!!! We were so shocked to see this dessert train, as we were not expecting. Our guests were just as shocked! If you don't add this to your wedding you are missing out!!! Over all they made our wedding everything we hoped it would be and more. Not one thing went wrong. Everything we wanted happened! They are very attentive. My husband and I were looked after the whole night and never had one worry about a single thing! We applaud Villa Borghese and their staff! Sarah and Joe, we thank you for EVERYTHING!!!!!

Amazing !! My wedding day was everything and more that I dreamed it would be!! Not only did the staff have to handle 1 bride but 2 brides who didn't want to see each other before the wedding!❤️ Jennifer was amazing she made us feel so relaxed and comfortable and was so accommodating down to the last detail for both Of our needs, She really had her hands full. The food was outstanding! Our guests were astonished by the Quality and presentation of food, the staff came in and poured champagne like a dance without missing a beat!! Just amazing the whole venue right down to the way everything was set up and our needs were met good job to all staff at the Villa Borgese he in Wappinger's Falls I highly recommend this to anyone who's looking anywhere else to start here first!! The Villa Borghese is such a beautiful, elegant place to have a wedding. My husband and I were fortunate enough to have our wedding here and we couldn't be happier with our experience! We had both the ceremony and reception here. The ceremony outside has been updated this year and we loved it! We chose the cocktail room on the first floor with the gorgeous bar and the crystal room for our reception. From the start, Ashley was there to help us plan and keep everything in order. Any questions we had I would email her and she would get back to me right away. The food was delicious! Our guests are still talking about how great the food was! The staff went above and beyond. My favorite, was Alexandra. She was our head waitress and she was SO helpful, professional and kind. I've told many people that I hope someone I know gets married here just so I can go back! Highly recommend the Villa Borghese as a wedding venue! You won't be disappointed.

I am having my wedding in October 2016 and so far I have nothing but excellent things to say! We were given a 5 star food tasting before we had to commit to the venue which was absolutely phenomenal!! From the food to the service everything was fantastic! Our tasting was during two events and honestly you wouldn't even know! They kept us separate and it was a great to see how we would be treated with so much going on and I must say we were treated great! Ashley is always emailing me to check in and help me with any questions I may have. I am beyond excited for my wedding! Definitely would book here!

My husband and I were the winners of the ultimate bridal expo at the poughkeepsie civic center in February 2013. We won a $20,000 wedding! Part of that prize was having 100 people free at our reception at the villa borghese. From the beginning of planing our wedding Joe and Paul Porco were great! They were very helpful with everything we needed. Any questions I had they answered them right away. The reception was set up exactly as I wanted it. All the staff were wonderful to us the minute we got there. Taking care of anything we needed or wanted and with a very positive attitude! The only things that went wrong at my reception was the guest book was put away before anyone had a chance to sign it and I worked very hard on that guest book to only have a few people sign it I was not happy about. Also I had an app for my guests that they could take pictures on so I could get all those pictures. There were cards that had all the app information on them which I paid $30 for that were supposed to be put at everyone's plate setting. I very clearly put it in the set up directions and they were un-opened when I received everything back and not put on the tables. Over all the reception was perfect and my guests enjoyed every minute of it! Thank you Paul and joe for giving us the day we have only dreamed of!

My husband and I couldn't have asked for more from our experience. We checked put several venues and we knew right away that we wanted our wedding at Villa Borghese. Not only is the outdoor ceremony area newly updated and gorgeous the inside is equally beautiful. Joe and his staff went above and beyond to give us everything we wanted. It started raining a half hour before our outdoor ceremony was about to start so the staff worked quickly to set up the ballroom to move the ceremony indoors. Just as we were about to start the clouds parted and the sun came out and the staff readjusted, cleaning off chairs for 160 people so that we could be outside. Our family and friends can't stop raving about how good the food was and how beautiful the facility is. I can't recommend Villa Borghese enough.

We just had our wedding there on Valentines day. The venue was very professional. A few days before the wedding we were getting stressed due to weather and other issues. Erica and Joe were amazing. When we finally got to the big day our maitre'd Eric was spot on with everything. The food was excellent and the staff was extremely helpful. Overall they did a great job and we would recommend them to anyone who is getting married. They even allowed me to have a appetizer off the menu which was grilled cheese with tomato bisque. We cannot thank Joe and Paul enough.

The only thing I did not like was that you had to go through the venue to decorate for the ceremony. I ended up not having any decorations for the ceremony due to that and the price. Other than that I was extremely satisfied and received a lot of compliments on how beautiful the venue was!

Our wedding at the Villa Borghese was awesome! This place looks expensive but is surprisingly affordable. The staff especially Sarah were great to work with. The food was delicious. Everything was set up as we requested it and the event was well run. Definitely glad we chose this as our wedding and reception venue!

The Villa Borghese treated us like family! What an incredible experience! Our wedding was surreal. We had the entire venue and 400+ people that were catered to perfectly. The food was incredible. Our guests were extremely happy with their service and the level of professionalism. They were wonderful during the entire process and on the day of our wedding. We could have never asked for better! Every time we speak to anyone who attended our wedding they literally stop us to tell us that it was an experience rather then just a normal wedding and we truly owe that to the Villa Borghese! I would strongly recommend this venue for the wedding of a lifetime! <3

The service is excellent and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Our wedding was managed beautifully and I felt we made the right choice. The food is taste great (go to the food tasting). Villa was amazing. Since we booked with them over a year ago they have been nothing but accommodating to us. The day of the wedding the rooms were decorated beautifully, and the staff was amazing & so attentive. Villa Borghese did an amazing job with our wedding. Erica was my coordinator and is great at communicating and always gave quick responses for any question I had. On the day of, my husband and I were greeted by Paul as soon as we arrived. We were ushered up to our Bridal room where we were served drinks and food from our cocktail hour. I forgot the name of our Maitre D(I feel bad about that but it's been two weeks), but she was wonderful! She made sure we were all taken care of. JoAnn was our head waitress. She was absolutely wonderful! I really suggest you request her! She took care of our sweetheart table the whole time and followed us around with the photographers and held my lip gloss, got me water, helped with anything we needed. She really helped make that day so much less crazy than it could have been. Her mom took care of the ladies room and she was so helpful too, between making sure we had bobby pins to helping fix my crinoline, she was so helpful and so sweet! I know people are leery of banquet halls b/c food is often not the best and some don't like the idea of having multiple weddings going on, but this was NOT the case. Our food was so delicious and the other wedding didn't interfere with us at all. I forgot they were even there. I highly recommend Villa Borghese!

The only complaint I really had was my wedding planner was not there for our rehearsal..and at the end of the wedding evening, they immediately started packing up our items (we had alot bc we made our centerpieces) and basically shoved us out the door with everything. That made me a little upset bc I had several broken vases bc they were not properly re-packaged..
other than that the food and the place was amazing!

5 stars does not do justice to how amazing this venue is. We only wish we could have provided an additional five stars (at least) in every category. We might seem to be overly generous in our ratings but believe us, we visited many, many, many venues and Villa Borghese was the most pleasing, the best value, and the most professional. The hall is beautiful, the staff is friendly, accommodating, and attentive, the value is unbeatable, but most notable to us was the food. The food is amazing. We went to our tasting expecting the usual fare to be found at catering halls. This was not the case, the food at Villa Borghese is of the level one would find in a five star restaurant!! Our only complaint about it was that we became full and could not eat more, that is not a joke...it was that good. All of our guests have gone on about how great the venue was and what a great time they had. We can easily say, if you are getting married, or need a catering hall, make sure you use Villa Borghese in Wappingers Falls. It is hands down the benchmark to be beat.

VB is a wonderful wedding venue in all aspects.GREAT value-the lowest price we found out of many venues close to NYC, AND much nicer than almost all other venues we visited.So much more is included VB’s package than other venues we visited, and without any hidden fees.For example, VB does not charge a service fee, cake cutting fee, etc.A wedding assistant is included in the package.She is extremely well-informed and helped us make all the decisions we needed to make.During the planning phase, we visited several times to decide on food, decoration, etc, and VB was very flexible and accommodated our schedules every time.
It is beautifully decorated and recently renovated with great places for photos. You can have your ceremony at VB for no additional cost.
Everything fell into place perfectly on our wedding day.The VB staff is very organized, attentive, friendly, and helpful. Food was delicious.We really liked the appetizers, and we would recommend the rib-eye steak, salmon, and swordfish for entrées.The included wedding cake was delicious.The Champaign and signature drinks were also very good.They let us use any part of the venue that wasn’t being used to take photos.
The only complaint is that VB requires you to use specific florists for the ceremony and the reception. VB’s packages come with reception centerpieces provided by a great florist, however you if you choose not to use the pkg centerpieces you can use any other florist.This is not the case for the ceremony, for which you could only use 1 specific florist, a different florist, who we found very difficult to work with, had unreasonable prices, would not communicate very basic facts about her pkgs, and refused to show photos of flowers we were paying exorbitant prices for.

After visiting a few other venues we knew the Villa was what we wanted. The atmosphere with all the great photo ops right on site was just what we were looking for not over the top gaudy which is not our style. Just classy. The food, service, attention to detail from begining to end was top notch. They know what their doing, leave it in their hands and you have a lot less to worry about.

The Villa Borghese made my wedding everything I ever dreamed it could be. I first contacted them because I was told they are willing to work with a bride on a budget and they lived up to that. The rooms were recently redone and came out beautiful. The cocktail hour room made my decision complete. Joe and his team were wonderful to work with. Any questions, thoughts, or concerns he would respond asap and was very patient. He was able to give me all the info. I needed and was very flexible with anything I needed or wanted. He gave great input and was beyond helpful during the planning process. The food is absolutely delicious, the decor is beautiful, the people are wonderful...I cannot say enough good things about our experience there. My husband and I had been searching for a Wedding venue for a few months. After attending a friends 50th Birthday party at The Villa Borghese and having a blast we decided to go in for a consultation. We fell in love with the place the second we saw it! Both the outside and inside of this venue are beautiful especially after the renovation they have just done. We met with Erica who is the most sweetest person ever. After sitting down to discuss the packages we knew this would be the place were we would get married. We went ahead and placed a hold on our date which was Friday, August 31, 2012. We went home and disscussed and within a few hours called back to confirm our date. We wanted to have an outdoor wedding and this place had it all. The staff members who were working our wedding as well as the maître d' were all very nice and attentive. Erica was absolutely amazing she was extremely helpful from the minute I met her to the day of my wedding. We are so happy that we picked this venue for our wedding! When my husband and I first started planning our wedding, we checked out many different venues in the area and none of them compare to Villa Borghese! We fell in love with the place the second we saw it! Both the outside and inside of this venue are gorgeous, and being that we had a fall wedding, the outside of the venue was very important. It poured on our wedding day, and we did not have to worry about a thing, Villa switched our ceremony location from outside to inside and we had the ceremony in the room our reception was held. The staff members who were working our wedding as well as the maître d' were all very attentive and made me feel very comfortable. One thing I will say, if you are a bride who wants to be the only one getting married at the venue the day of your wedding, this is not the place for you. They usually have 2 other weddings going on during the same day. Also, because of the fact there were multiple weddings going on, the main entrance area and all the other locations of the venue besides our room were very loud, and we had 2 drunken wedding crashers come into our reception room that I (the bride) had to tell to leave. This was one of the only issues we had that night, but if this would ruin your day, take it into consideration. Overall the place is beautiful and we are so happy that we picked this venue for our wedding!

Aboslutely Amazing !!!! The Villa Borghese did such a wonderful job for my special day Oct 6, 2012. I couldnt have asked for anything better! Joe and Paul Porco make a great team and made my wedding planning a breeze. They gave excellent recomendations and adviced on how to plan, and make my visions into a reality. We had our coctail hour upstairs and it was a beautiful day so we got to use the terrace outside so there was plenty of room. The reception followed into the Grand Ballroom and the new lighting matched my color scheme, it was awesome! Our Maître d' was Miguel and he was always right there, he always made sure we had a drink in our hand and that we were having fun! The food was out of this world, and the guests are still raving about it, the salmon seemed to be the favorite but i l loved the Filet mignon and the twice baked potatoes... i even aked for another one!! They had all the food out in a timely fashion so noone was rushed, and yet we had plenty of time to dance. We had 170 people at our wedding and i have yet to hear one complaint.The Viannese Hour definitly WOWed our guests, the sparklers, ice sculptures, and desserts were to die for.We had a wild group of people and the dance floor was always packed and the staff was always professional, and did a great job handling our guests.I even had a popcorn and pretzel machine delivered and the staff and the villa set it up and handed the goodies out. There was another wedding going on at the same time and that posed no problems for me, i still got to take all my pictures and never saw the other bride at all. I can not express how HAPPY i am with how my wedding turned out and I even left telling them i wanted to do it all over again!!!

We absolutely loved Villa Borghese! We had our ceremony and reception at Villa Borghese and it was absolutely beautiful. The new renovations that were done are great and the place is a great all in one deal and one thing I really loved about this place, that I did not find other places, is that from the moment of inquiry you know how much you are going to pay including tax and everything. They were great! open bar, but the drinks were a little weak, however, i dont need a bunch of drunk people at my wedding, so it was perfect! The service was amazing, the maitre d for us was completely on top of things! He was so great! I recomend the Villa over anywhere else in the HV.

The Villa Borghese has stunning views and an outdoor ceremony area, which is what drew us to selecting them for our venue. As time passes, the event planning staff was very responsive and helpful to make sure that everything would be perfect for our big day. The Villa Borghese team was very professional. On my wedding day on 10-07-11 I didnt worry about anything. They had everything set up when I got there. The Villa was clean and put together. They were always there to help and answer questions while planning my wedding. You get a lot of choices and there is a lot of stuff included with the packages they offer. Everyone at my wedding kept saying I cant believe how much food is here. I Reccommend the Villa Borghese to any Bride and Groom out there.

The staff at Villa Borghese was wonderful. The venue was beautifully done and the day was perfect. They were unbelievably priced and went above and beyond to service myself and my husband. They answered all questions truthfully and responded to any emailed inquiries promptly.

My daughter's wedding was held at the Villa Borghese on June 12, 2010. Everyone at the Villa was wonderful. They made sure that no stone was left unturned and that the reception was beautiful. From the decorations on the tables to the food, there is nothing that can be complained about. Being Italian the taste of food is very important and I can honestly say that NO ONE complained about the food as it was delicious. The only complaint was with the amount as it seemed that it was never ending. Our maitre d made sure that the bride and groom were well taken care of and that they never had to ask for a thing. My guests were very impressed with the Villa. Several people have said that they would even consider it for any events that they were having. I will definitely book the Villa Borghese for my next event. Thank you Karen, Gino and Paul, you guys were wonderful

The Villa Borghese was a great location. The wedding planner was very helpful and followed out all my request for the reception on my wedding day. The food and service was excellent. I recommend the balcony for the cocktail hour, it's beautiful. The packages they offer are at a great price and they really work with you to make your wedding day one of a kind.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Villa Borghese. For the price (which was SO reasonable!) I would have been happy with food and service that was nothing special. But they were INCREDIBLE. The food was delicious, all of it; my guests are still talking about the selection and quality during our cocktail hour. And even though gratuity is included in the per person price, which you would think means no motivation to go above and beyond, I felt absolutely like royalty. When we were in the room getting our pictures taken before the reception, a member of the staff even put together a sampler plate from the cocktail foods and brought it to us so we would not be hungry. There was always someone asking if we needed something or refilling our drinks, but somehow it was never seemed that they were pestering. 160 guests were served entrees almost simultaneously and my swordfish was delicious. Our ceremony was outside at the gazebo and the pictures are breathtaking. We even fit parents, wedding party & huppah into that gazebo! The ladies room (the most important thing according to my grandmother) is gorgeous, and it's not every day you can say that about a bathroom! The best part of all was how much was included in the price because I live in Florida and wanted as little hassle as possible. In fact, no one who attended the wedding lives within 3 hours of the site. My family is in MA and my husband's is on Long Island. For the price, I said everyone can drive. And it was totally worth it, I would not have changed a thing (even with all the crap I got for having a wedding in a random spot). Karen was very helpful. Everyone was incredibly nice. The site is gorgeous, the food is delicious, everything but the kitchen sink is included and the service is impeccable. I had a picture in my head of what the wedding would be like, and they made it ten times better than I had even dreamed.

Villa Borghese is amazing. It's beautiful, the food is amazing, the service is amazing, the people that work there are EXTREMELY helpful, and I am so glad I chose Villa Borghese as my wedding venue.

Everyone at the Villa was exceptional. They were all so helpful and nothng was out of the question. Their venue is beautiful and one of a kind. I am so thankful to everyone for everything.

They helped me select all other vendors and had a very reasonable price. Everyone complimented how excellent the food was and how beautiful the reception was. They provided the cake and everything was absolutely magnificent.

The Villa Borghese made the wedding of my dreams happen. We were on a tight budget and did not have many plans made for the wedding yet when we approached the Villa Borghese. They helped us plan our wedding on our budget and time frame with excellent service and helpful suggestions. Some other venues have the tendency to try to persuade the couple to try to upgrade their package or add unnecessary items, not the Villa Borghese. I was so impressed with the service, the decorations, the food, the beautiful outside and the budget. I have recommended the Villa Borghese to all my friends who are looking to get married and if I had to do it all over again, I would choose the Villa Borghese, without hesitiation.

I can’t say enough good things about the Villa Borghese! Throughout my entire wedding planning process I work beside Nicole and she was beyond helpful every step of the way. I had quite the vision in mind and she always found a way to make everything work. There are no hidden fees or tricks everything was true to what they promised and then more! On my day of my wedding everyone involved and my day was beyond kind, helpful, and accommodating! I realized halfway through my reception but I had forgotten my garter at home ... my Maitre’d found a brand new one in a package for me and let me have it! The bridal suite was huge and absolutely Gorgeous. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a magical wedding day.

I held my daughters wedding reception at The Villa Borghese on October 8, 2016. I cannot say enough about how wonderful working with Joe, Paul and Stanley and all the staff has been. They are caring and have so many great suggestions. They listened to every word I said and were always quick to return my phone calls. The actual reception was truly unsurpassed. When we entered the venue, it was magical. The fireplace was lit, the hostess was there providing champagne and "Signature" drinks to guests. They were smiling and courteous. Upon entering the cocktail hour, each candle on the cocktail tables were lit and the staff was ready. The food was not only superb, but they never stopped refilling trays that needed to be replenished. . The hors d'ourves that were passed out, were again delicious and it was a constant flow of food. The bar in the Venetian room where I held the cocktail hour was not only lovely, the bartenders were great. The drinks were cool and not watered down at all. We had approximately 40 items at the cocktail hour and all I heard was praise about each one. My daughter informed me the she and her groom and the bridal party received so much attention at their private cocktail hour. We held the wedding reception in the Venetian room, and I have to say all the décor that we added was placed correctly and taken care of. The room felt like a castle. The food for the meals was amazing. The staff was on target and attentive to the needs of my guests. The liquor cart was such a lovely touch. The Viennese hour was the best I had ever experienced. Upon entering with 4 tables lit with sparklers, and flambae cherries, it was just so exciting and pretty. The amount of desserts was unimaginable. We requested extra desserts to bring in the autumn season, and the Villa Borghese brought in the fall with such class. The coffee, cappuccino, teas and espresso were hot and delicious. I am so appreciative for the most beautiful wedding.

I can't tell you enough how many weddings I have been too since ours and not becuase it was our but because of where it was our wedding was by far the best and some paid twice as much as we did for much less. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable and the overall appearance of the venue made my guest feel like they were royalty for the day. The price is comparable to other venues but by far better in quality and service. I wouldn't look any further for your next event, especially a wedding. The flowers that were provided for center peices was amazing, if we didn't live so far away I would have had Liz do my flowers for everything. You really can't go wrong with this venue, have your next event here and see for yourself.

The Villa was the second venue I had interviewed.The villa is a beautifully decorated. Karen, Sarah and Stanley were great! I was treated like a Queen! The wedding consultants were great and very responsive. The food was great! The day of my wedding, they worked with my wedding coordinator and I to set up the tables and the Candy station the way I dreamed! They hold up to three weddings at one time. Something that I did not think about at the time. There were other weddings, but the service that I got over shadowed my concerns! I would definitely have a function here again! I will see them in October, my niece is getting married here!

I loved my venue! It's gorgeous! and they include so much in their packages (centerpieces, cake, open bar, etc.). They really made it a great experience! I highly recommend this venue! High impact for a low(er) price tag!

My Husband and I were married at the Villa Borghese August 3, 2014 and it was absolutely breath taking. They provided such exceptional service every step of the way and were also very accomodating. I couldn't have asked for more professionalism from their staff. Planning a wedding can be stressful and they took every bit of that stress and weight off my shoulders! They provided an abundant amount of delicious food that all of our guests highly enjoyed. Everyone was impressed with the food and the beautiful decor. We can't thank them enough!

When I met with Erica in the beginning of 2013 I knew this was the perfect place for my special day. I asked her before booking if they could accommodate my gluten allergy and she ensured me they could. A few days later I came back with my fiance and booked the place, but checking again that they could accommodate my gluten allergy and was told once again that it would not be a problem. Erica went on maternity leave and Joe assisted me with any questions or concerns that I had while she was unavailable. Anytime that I had a question or concern I would e mail Erica and her response was very timely and was always above and beyond. Anytime that food was mentioned I always reminded her that I had the gluten allergy and she always responded that they would be able to accommodate me. I kept bringing it up because I get extremely cranky when I don't eat for long periods of time and I knew the whole morning before the ceremony and reception was going to be too crazy to be able to eat a real meal. I went to the food tasting about two months before my wedding which was not as great as I thought since they were not very accommodating to my gluten allergy that night. Also, I told them that I was going to be doing the king package and the food tasting was pasted of a princess package wedding. I reminded Erica that night that I was gluten free and wanted to make sure that the food tasting night was no indentation on how my wedding night was going to be. The wedding night: The chef might of known what gluten free was but the wait staff did not seem too knowledgeable on it. When the appetizers were brought into the bridal suite I asked the person what I could eat and she was not sure and did not seen to fully understand what it was. My salad had crouton in it which I was not able to eat. But after telling them my issue they seemed to have gotten their act together and the matre d made sure there were no more issues from that point on.

I just had my wedding ceremony and reception at The Villa Borghese and I am so happy with the staff's (especially Paul the owner) professionalism and friendliness, the quality of food, the beautiful decor and their flexibility. The flowers and cake were beautiful and Miguel an outstanding Maitre D'. And I am in the wedding planning industry so am very particular - they definitely delivered.

They were GREAT! The value for the dollar was amazing all of our guests were impressed with the options and food and atmosphere. We had initally made a request for NO pigs in a blanket and we saw that they were in fact there and when we reminded them that they weren't supposed to be being served they disappeared without so much as a peep. Our cake was all our own and the chef was fantastic to work with.

Villa was wonderful. We also did our pictures there inside, because it was so hot that day, and they came out beautiful. I would highly recommend them for any event, not just a wedding. The service was fantastic and they were very flexible, they met our needs.

We got married at Villa Borghese 5/10/14 and it was beautiful!! We were supposed to have the ceremony outdoors, but it was getting very cloudy and dark just before we were supposed to start, so we changed it to inside, and they happily and quickly moved everything inside. The food was great and everything was beautiful. We had our own centerpieces and the staff set everything up perfectly, and beyond what I could have envisioned. Our pictures came out beautifully at Villa Borghese and we could not be happier with the wonderful job they did at our wedding. Thank you Ville Borghese!!

What a perfect decision. Our guests had an awesome time and were completely blown away by the venue, food and drinks. We really enjoyed the first moment that we walked in the door and saw the place (complete with champagne), the tasting, and the finalizing of details. When we arrived after the ceremony, it was incredible to have our maitre d' there with champagne ready to go for us and the bridal suite prepped and secured for our personal items. What an amazing touch to make us feel like royalty (and I never planned to feel like it had to be that way). They were extremely attentive to our every need and then some. Food and dessert are incredible, and open bar is part of the package! Overall it is amazing. The only thing you may want to consider is opting out of the centerpieces with your package.

Hello Mr. Porco,
From the onset in September 2017 to our June 30th wedding Nicole displayed the utmost professionalism and was very responsive to our inquiries and needs. The venue was set up tastefully and beautifully and our guests were very impressed with both the venue and food offerings. The chef came out multiple times to inquire about the food which we thought was very professional, and my guests made many comments on the professionalism of the servers. In addition, I would like to commend the blonde young lady who was perhaps Nicole's assistant? Job well done.
I'd like to take this opportunity to suggest that the maitre' d would do better with seeking out the bride and groom at the very onset of the evening which caused a misunderstanding , because I was initially speaking to the DJ about the order of things which seemed to antagonize the maitre'd who became quite proprietary about the room. Had he sought us out upon arrival, perhaps things would have gone differently. He said to my husband, "this was his room and that he had been doing that job for 16 years", which I felt was inappropriate.
I also had to speak to one the bartenders about a misunderstanding with one of my guests., in which she refused to serve him while he was clearly not inebriated. With that said, I would still highly recommend your venue to friends and family, and I thank you for all that was done to make our event as success.

Congratulations to Jennifer and Rob on winning the grand prize at Sunday’s 9/23/12 bridal show which includes a wedding package give away compliments of Villa Borghese.

The Borghese staff Paul and Joe give away something that was just unbelievable! Our guests still talk about the food at the cocktail hour to this day!! They loved that we had our cocktail hour upstairs with the view even though it was cold and flurrying out. There was one waiter there that was just amazing; he even got a fan for me because he saw how hot I was from my dress and dancing too much! He took great care of us & even reminded us to eat! The room we where in was just perfect for us and the up lighting is just a fantastic touch!!

My husband and I got married at the Villa this Friday and it was really wonderful. We used the Crystal Room, and with its new renovations & lighting, it looked beautiful. The food was excellent and the servers were really attentive. I can honestly say it went off without a hitch. They helped organize everything when I arrived and really helped it from being any more nervewracking then it already was!! I worked with Erica mostly and she was really responsive and helpful all the way along. Thank you so much to everybody at the Villa Borghese, all my guests commented on how beautiful everything was!

We got so many compliments from our friends and family that our wedding was one of the most beautiful that they have ever attended. Even friends who had previously been there were extremely impressed with the renovations, such as the new tile floor and uplighting in the garden room, as well as the new cocktail room. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely nice and accommodating. Addy and Joanne were especially great and help calm me down and assure me both before the ceremony when we were running a little late (of course haha), and when I couldn't remember how my dress bussled--they even pulled out google to try to look it up! Paul and Joe made sure the ceremony ran smoothly. Sarah was our wedding planner, and although there were sometimes I would have liked a little more detail in questions to her, she always responded. The ceremony and reception really were perfect the day off and I will definitely recommend their services!
