Professional, friendly, accommodating

Jack is professional, friendly and accomodated our schedules perfectly! He met with us during the rehearsal and two hours before the ceremony. Jack and his wife, Marlene, took many pictures from which we could select our favorites. They did a superb job of covering every part of our wedding. I would highly recommend Jack for anyone’s special occasion.

The Video Vignette team (Jack, Jessica & Casey) did a fabulous job with our wedding and we are extremely happy with our videos and photos. Jack's team was flexible and accommodating and they were there for us all day. It was obvious that they cared about the quality, and we could see that they really enjoy what they do. Jessica and Casey have a great eye with the camera and work together really well. They made sure to capture every part of the night, even times that some would feel aren't as important (like continuous dancing). We have some really great moments captured from that.

Jack was there for our rehearsal dinner and put a lot of time and effort into creating a wonderful slideshow of photos from me and my husband growing up. Not only did he show the slideshow during the dinner (playing it to music that we previously requested) but he also took pictures and video throughout that night! That was a nice unexpected surprise.

The 14 minute video vignette of the wedding is incredibly crafted and it is really smooth to watch. Jack did a great job determining what parts of the video to include and which stills to include. It captures the entire night in a wonderful nutshell (which must have been hard to do!).

The services Jack and his team provide are a great value. Within just a couple weeks, the link to our video vignette and our photos were available! So they were very quick to get everything back to us. And he also sent hard copies of everything to us by snail mail right away.

We are extremely happy with the Video Vignette team and would highly recommend! Thank you Jack, Jessica and Casey!

Jack is friendly, professional, creative, agreeable, and gives you a lot of bang for your buck. He gets your results back quickly, both edited and unedited footage versions. He did the video and photography with his assistants for our older daughter's wedding in 2006 and our younger daughter in August 2015. There is not one single negative thing to say and we couldn't be happier.

Jack, Jessica and Casey did an outstanding job for our wedding on August 7th! At the rehearsal dinner, Jack presented a slide show of our lives that captivated the audience and set the tone for the events to follow. It was something we will never forget. Every step of the way Jack and his team were professional, fun and accommodating. They were loaded with great ideas and were pleasantly efficient in all settings. I really cannot think of how anything could have been better! The pictures, vignette and full unedited version came out great. The ability to share an online link to the vignette was a nice touch and many guests have requested it. Their ability to capture the true vibe and emotion of the wedding is something we will forever be grateful for. This was a five star experience and we are elated with our decision to go with Video Vignette & Photography!

John, Jessdica, and Casey were FANTASTIC!
They were so cool and easy to be around.
The pictures were fun to take and very high quality.
John was very understanding. I think john was more nervous the day of the wedding then i was. John and the ladys always had a smile on their faces and many of our guests told us how professional they were.
I am so thankful we chose to work with John, Jessica, and casey they really talented. We very much enjoyed having John and the ladys as our wedding photographers and videogrhers We HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!!!!

We hired Jack to be our wedding videographer and we had a wonderful experience working with him. He was always very responsive and professional, and he and his assistant Casey did a superb job of capturing even the tiniest of details on our big day. Having the short video to share with family and friends after the fact was a nice feature, and being able to pore over all of the footage from the day and relive all the special moments over and over again is truly something special. I really appreciated also that Casey was able to go around the tables at the reception and take photo stills of all of our guests, so we can always remember who all was there with us. Jack and Casey focused on us of course, but didn't forget to capture all of our family and friends having a blast, celebrating the happiest day of our lives. My husband and I will treasure our video forever.

As being the Mother of the Bride I wanted everything to be perfect for my daughter's very special day. It was the most unbelievable day. The only way we were able to capture those very special moments we wanted to keep and see forever was from Jack. He was so genuine and kind, I didn't even think of him as our photographer but as a friend. He made sure that everything was just perfect for him to get the pictures exactly how he wanted them. Not only were our pictures excellent but our video was just suburb. When we first met with Jack he made my daughter feel so comfortable and relaxed that even before we walked away from our appointment our minds were made up that Jack was who we were using and took care of everything right there. Jack was our first photographer we met with and he certainly was the only one we met with. The only problem I had was that once the wedding was over I really was sad that we would be in contact with Jack as much anymore as we were before the actually wedding day. He really was so nice. I know for a fact my next big affair I give, Jack will be the one and only photographer I will use.

Jack saved the day and did a great job at our Engineers Club wedding in May! A week before my wedding my grandmother had a stroke (and luckily was okay!) and said that she would be unable to come to the wedding. She requested that we find a videographer to record the event. I had no idea what I was going to do but scoured the internet to see who I could find. Jack was highly rated so I decided it may be a long-shot, but I contacted him anyway and couldn't believe he was available!

From time of first contact until after we got the finished product (which was extremely fast- by the way!), Jack was nothing but a pleasure to work with. He was responsive and professional. He worked very well with our other vendors and respected all of our requests for our wedding. He also took some really great pictures that we love!

I could not be happier with Jack, Jessica, and Casey. Before the wedding, they frequently kept in contact with me to make sure everything I wanted would be met. They made me feel so calm and relaxed. I never felt like a customer to them, they gave me full attention. Our wedding day went by so fast. They captured every second of it. I was always able to contact them with any questions or thoughts, which is a very relieving while planning a wedding. I feel like I didn't miss a thing when I look at video footage and pictures that they took. Every time I go through pictures or watch the video, I feel like I'm there again.

One of my favorite nights of all time is when my husband and I sat down to watch the video. We smiled the entire time. Laughed at funny moments. Got teary eyed watching special moments, hugged and kissed. This is my favorite love movie ever :) Even my 8 and 10 yr old boys watched it and loved it (but closed their eyes during the kiss)!

They took time to make sure all of my expectations were met. The video and pictures are very high quality. Very organized and well planned out. The sound in the video is high quality as well.

Originally, I didn't think I needed a videographer but after watching my video, I think this is more important than the cake!!! I would highly recommend them to anyone and would use them again for special events in the future. Our wedding video and pictures are one of my most prized possessions and I can't thank them enough for all the hard work they've done for us.

Jack did a fantastic job of capturing our wedding. As a wedding planner myself, I've know Jack a long time & have worked with him on other weddings. I knew he was good and a true professional and that's why I asked him to do our wedding. He provided the photographers as well. They are easy to work with, very accommodating, and flexible. I already have a snippet of pictures and can't wait to get the entire video and pictures! I whole heartedly recommend him and his crew.

Mr. Jack was a pleasure. I could not have asked for a better videographer. He knew exactly what to do. Plus he knew exactly what to tell us to do...when to smile, where to stand, when to kiss...ect My husband and I would have been lost without him. He also knew where to stand and set up his equipment so the quests were able to see everything. No view was obstructed. His assistant Jessica was a pleasure as well. She was friendly and personable. The overall experience was fantastic!! There is nothing that could have been done better.
The video was a joy to watch. He capture all the memories I will continue to cherish. It takes a lot of talent to do what Mr. Jack did for us. My husband and I will always be thankful. I would consider him the BEST!! You will not be disappointed.

Jack and Jess did our wedding Photos and Video. They were superb. I barely even noticed they were there, but they managed to capture our moments perfectly. They set up our portraits perfectly and just the way we envisioned them, plus they managed to get some awesome candid shots of the guests at the reception. I can not find the words to stress how wonderful they were to work with and the quality of the results.

Jack was the sweetest, nicest guy ever!! I didn't book him until a few weeks before the wedding, and he was incredibly responsive in helping me figure out what I wanted on video, and the day of the wedding he was right on time and I honestly didn't even notice him videoing me and the guests. I would highly recommend him!

Jack and Jessica from Video Vignette were amazing. Jack was extremely professional, organized, and flexible. Prior to our wedding, he contacted us to make sure that he knew the special details we wanted him to capture during our ceremony and reception. During our wedding he made sure to capture all of our images using the video camera and still photography. He was extremely easy going and came up to us during the reception to see if their were any other special people\images we wanted him to capture at our venue. He was so friendly and made sure that we were being taken care of during our reception. Our recap vignette came out beautifully. He captured all the important moments that happened throughout our day and it was so great to be able to email this to our family and friends. Our wedding Video came out amazing!! It is absolutely gorgeous the way he incorporated both still images and the video. I also love how our wedding video starts off with us growing up and then moves into the ceremony, reception, etc. In our video Jack has each part of our day broken up with a Title and a pretty image for the ceremony, reception, father-daughter dance, etc. The sound quality is phenomenal and he added our own special touches to our wedding video. Jack also did a rehearsal dinner video for us that included images of my husband and I as babies, children, adults, and then dating. Our guests loved watching this at our rehearsal dinner. We received a ton of compliments and our guests asking us for copies of the video! We have also received many compliments on our vignette and wedding video. My parents loved how both of them and commented on how well Jack did with incorporating all of our important events throughout the day. Jack is an amazing individual to work with and his work is absolutely beautiful!!! I recommend Jack and Video Vignette!!

Jack did an excellent job filming my daughter's wedding. He was professional,on time and unobtrusive. I cannot say enough good things about Jack and his company. From the moment I called Jack he was very professional and personal. The video came out so much better than I ever expected. Everyone who saw the video complimented how good it was. I was on a tight budget but I can honestly say it was worth every penny. Compared to most videographers he was very reasonable and I don't know the quality of the other videographers but I can say his quality is excellent. He is very personable and easy to work with. I would definitley recommend him to all my family and friends.

we are so glad we had Jack for our wedding. He is very professional and passionate. He is very easy working with and takes so many responsibilities. He catches all the moments and provided us a great video. We really enjoyed working with him.

We hired Video Vignette for videography/shooting raw footage for our wedding on August 11, 2012 and Jack did an amazing job! He was really easy to work with and was very prompt about following up with us closer to the big day to make sure he knew the sequence of events for the ceremony and reception. He made sure to put wireless mics on the pastor and singer during our reception and the sound was very clear on the video! He captured all of our special moments from the beginning at the church ceremony until the end of the reception. He was very prompt about getting all our footage on hard drive and sent it back to us very quickly. Jack was great to work with and I would recommend him to any prospective bride!

Jack O'Laughlin from Video Vignette did an excellent job. He spent alot of time with us at his home showing us DVDs of different weddings he had done so we could say what we liked and didn't like. He is very used to working with princesses because during the winter months in Maryland he works in Walt Disney World in Florida. He worked really well with our photographer, Harry Wertz of Visual Image Photography. They have worked together for years so they can read each other very well. We really forgot they were there once everything got rolling. Then when we were working together, they made us feel very special. We got married at the Cylburn Arboretum in Baltimore. We had a horse and carriage take us from the garden near the Cylburn Mansion (ceremony) to the Vollmer Center (reception). Jack and Harry followed the horse and carriage around taking pictures and shooting video. We had no idea they were doing that. We forgot they were at the reception too sometimes. They were there but they were never intrusive. They totally worked with us from beginning to end. Their prices were very reasonable for what we got. They are true professionals. We loved working with them.

Jack at Video Vignette is great. He offered a couple different packages that were very resonable in pricing. He was very quick with answering questions and very thorough with all of his services. He offered many suggestions that most brides would not think of. It was great to hear some suggstions because he does this for a living and for most of us this is our first time getting married. I felt that he was not just trying to take my money and that he really wanted to make my wedding a special as can be and capture every moment.

Out of all the vendors we had at our wedding, I was most pleased with Video Vignette. Jack Olaughlin was on point with his set up, suggestions and final product. My husband and I were very pleased with the service! This was a great investment for our memory of the wedding. Jack enjoys what he does and it shows in his work! Prior to our wedding we interviewed several videographers, my husband is a very picky person none of the other candidates impressed him as much as Jack. Jack O'laughlin of Video Vignette was the greatest!! He was very proffessional and artistically talented. His suggestions and comforting mannerism helped make our wedding day fantastic. I love the video shots and when he put it all together it was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! The quality of the video cannot be touched by anyone. He was always at the right place at the right time. It was wonderful. Thanks Jack for everything you are the BEST!!!

Jack was a great person to work with. He was very professional, easy to work with and understood what I wanted in my video. When I received my video's they were put together very well he captured every moment in which I re-lived my wedding day all over again and at the end of my video was a video vignetted that summarize the day very nice.

We were so happy to find Video Vignette, we had found him online and saw how other Brides, Grooms, and Families had reviewed Video Vignette as a Top Video Company in Maryland! Jack from the minute I called him was so...nice, happy and jolly (as is his wife) for he has done work for Disney World. His Responsiveness was Excellant and Professionalism was Outstanding. We all chose Video Vignette for our daughter's wedding on 10-16-10. At our first meeting, he walks you through what he can do for you, shows you some of his videos and gives you paperwork letting you know what to expect. We chose the top video package which was a super great value for cost of what he gives you; very inexpensive for his time and what you receive.. We gave him pictures of Bride & Groom growing up and he can make a slide-show and he can use them in the video to tell the story of them growing-up, dating, wedding, etc. He arrived when we wanted him to at location and On Time! The sounds of our kids vows, etc., were clear. Jack knows a lot about songs and can help suggest songs that you might want to play at your wedding, or any other event. We received three copies each of all the uncut video on CD's from the whole day and the other three finished cut video CD's that he spends hours on editing and telling the story of the Bride and Groom from start to finish. We received the finished CD's in record time after the wedding and the Quality of the CD was Excellant!!! I can honestly recommend Video Vignette for any of your video needs; I don't believe you can find better quality for the price or a nicer couple; he and his wife. Jack Olaughlin of Video Vignette is an extraordinary and caring professional. Right from the start, Jack took great care in explaining all the options and services he provides. He showed us samples of the ceremony videos, reception and vignettes. He answered all our questions and made us feel at ease in the midst of the stress of our wedding planning. Jack arrived at our ceremony on time and fully prepared and provided great and infectious humor, optimism and care throughout the event. The end product Jack provided was incredible and beyond our expectations. The DVDs were beautifully packaged and the video, graphic animations and sound quality were amazing. We especially enjoyed the inclusion of our honeymoon photos in the video vignette. Jack was also gracious enough to accommodate a last minute request. All our friends and family were equally impressed. Jack is incredibly talented, creative and thoughtful. We are happy beyond words to have entrusted him with this most important moment in our lives. Jack Olaughlin was beyond amazing. He did such a nice job with our video we could not believe it. At first we were not even sure if we wanted a video but after the wedding were so glad that we did it. It captured everyone moment of the wedding and all of the important details you did not want to miss (speeches, dancing, ceremony). Jack is beyond professional and had the ability to capture all of the moments just right. The quality of the end product was beautiful and everyone who watched it has been impressed and loved it. We are so thankful that we did videography and went with Jack. We could not be happier with the end product and the memories it will capture for years to come. We would highly recommend Jack to any couple. It was worth it!

Jack and his staff are wonderful! Adam is a great videographer. There was only one minor setback when he ran out of film..but hey, he's a videographer..film happens. Other than that Adam was great, very non intrusive..very friendly and easy to deal with. Jack is great, although we never met he is amazing with the editing of the film. He gives you the un-edited(which is pretty funny to say the least!) and then the finished product. Jack incorporates pictures of the bride and groom when we were children and then the wedding and then pieces of our honeymoon. Well worth the wait..

I had Jack and Casey at my wedding yesterday and was so impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail. I have not even seen the video yet but loved the fact that they not only create the video but take still photos as well to incorporate in it! Jack was very easy to work with and made working with him a true pleasure. I can't wait to see our video and would recommend him as a videographer to anyone looking for one to have at their wedding!

Jack was absolutely wonderful! He was very professional and made the big day so easy for us. The day just went as planned and he was there to capture it all. Our video is so beautiful and we will cherish it for years to come!!

Jack O'Laughlin was great to work with for our wedding videography. He was always quick to respond and included more for our video than was stated for our package. He captured all the important events on video and provided us with a completed video, an extra DVD with unused footage, and a disc with photos of all our guests.

What I really appreciated about Jack is his flexibility and understanding. Following the event, Jack was patient with my husband and me as we made some requests concerning the final production. Jack worked with us to achieve the best keepsake of our wedding.

I'm so happy we decided to get a videographer at the last minute. When we got our wedding video, we were able to see all the things we missed during our wedding (ceremony entrances, bridal party introductions, guests dancing during the reception, etc). Jack captured it all perfectly, and he even added in a few special touches for us! During our ceremony we lit a candle in memory of my husband's father who had passed away 6 weeks before. Jack took a still shot of a picture of his dad and had it come up in the corner of the screen while we were lighting the candle. He also had my childhood pictures come up on the sides of the screen during the father/daughter dance.

Most couples would agree - the wedding is a blur. Having a video of it helps you remember everything - from the emotions, the events, the guests, etc. Video Vignette (Jack O'Laughlin) is a fair priced option for anyone looking for a videographer. He works hard and truly cares about the quality product he is creating for you - we got our video back in a little over a month! He's also very friendly and responsive - you will definitely not be disappointed with the end result!
