  Via Vecchia...there are not enough words! My husband and I had our wedding and reception there on November 18, 2016. From day one, we knew it was the perfect place. The exposed brick walls, original concrete floors, and open ceiling allow this historic space to maintain a modern influence. The space is so inherently stunning that your decoration needs will take on a whole new focus--you only need to highlight this space, not cover it up. I promise, let the venue breathe and act as the primary focus for all of your accented touches. You won't regret it! The barrel room adds and additional and almost secretive charm, acting as the perfect space for a cocktail hour or photo op arena. And for a winter wedding or just for a reception that fades into the twilight hours, the alleyway with dazzling string lights are an unforgettable experience. Whether you're exiting with a sparkler send off or just taking in the night air with your new spouse, there is no better place to soak of the magic of that moment! And on top of all of this--the impossible perfection of this space--you have an incredible staff who will go above and beyond to make you happy, clarify any point of confusion, correct any error (though there are few, if any ever made), and make your day flow effortlessly. Just one example of many, but it may be my favorite: the night of our wedding, my husband and I left the venue clean up to the venue and our closest family members. Of course, our family didn't keep track of everything we brought or where we put it. Unfortunately, we left a few things behind. What happened? Paulo and Michael made sure nothing was ever left unsecured. In fact, after cleaning the venue and setting up for a wedding the next day, Paulo noticed the uncollected items, remembered where my husband and I were staying that night, packed up anything left behind, and brought the items, safe and secure in boxes provided by the venue, to the hotel at 3am. Unbelievable people and space!

  Via Vecchia was an amazing venue choice! My wife and I instantly loved the venue when we took our first tour, but I must say that it was somehow even better all decoreated at night for the wedding. Paolo and Michael are fantastic to work with and really take pride in Via Vecchia. Our families are both from out of town so when they came down at different times to visit we would stop by to show them Via Vecchia, and each time Michael would let us come in and he gave both our families a full tour which was great (our parents were equally as impressed as us)! We received countless compliments from our family and friends about how amazing the venue was for our wedding! We highly recommend Via Vecchia as a venue choice.

  I would not have wanted to work with anyone else or have had my wedding reception anywhere else!!! Via Vecchia is the BEST way to go!!   After calling several vendors and getting really annoyed by how short everyone was with me, I emailed Via Vecchia, got an immediate response, and set up a meeting with them. When I walked in, I KNEW that I wanted to get married there. David, my husband, and I sat down with Michael and we instantly started talking like we were old friends. We booked and that "old friends" feel never went away. Michael and Paolo, the owners, are two of the most genuinely kind people I have had the pleasure to meet and work with. They were there to answer any questions, helped decorate, and were so accommodating the entire year before the wedding, but ESPECIALLY the weeks leading up to the wedding. The day of the wedding was flawless. Absolutely flawless. Amazing. Wonderful. Fantastic. I STILL keep in contact with Michael and Paolo, and will stay in contact with them. I think the best part about working with Michael and Paolo is that their attitude is "Why wouldn't we treat you like family?" I know I speak a lot about the PEOPLE, but go see Via Vecchia and the space speaks for itself. Drink their wine and the wine speaks for itself. Meet Michael and Paolo and you will know that this review is not only accurate, it might not be glowing enough. = )

  Via Vecchia is a beautiful, unique venue and my husband and I knew from the moment we walked in the door that it was where we wanted to get married. We had both our ceremony and reception there and it was absolutely perfect. Michael and Paolo (the owners) are both very nice, warm people and the caterer-Scott-makes absolutely delicious food!! It was the perfect location for our late November wedding :)

  Michael was amazing. He was extremely accommodating with this out of town bride and everything the day of the wedding was amazing. Everyone had great things to say about the venue. It is so unique and beautiful.

  It was pretty much love at first sight with us and this venue. We went to a wine tasting and stayed and talked to Michael for about 2 hours at our initial meeting. I knew after that meeting that this was the venue for us. Throughout the entire process Paulo and Michael were wonderful to work with. They even honored my somewhat high maintenance request to let us take down all of the paper lanterns they have hanging all of the time. We had so many compliments on what a cool place it was and it looked absolutely beautiful for our December wedding. It was also just very nice to be working with people that we genuinely liked.

  Beautiful building, great background for the pictures we've seen thus far. Michael (owner) was pleasant to interact with in the planning process, however Paolo seemed annoyed the one time we met him (to do a second walk through with parents). The guests commented the bar was great.
  
  We were disappointed by a few factors: You are charged a service fee of 20% of the catering bill even though you are only allowed to use two caterers (for other venues we only saw this fee if you were brining in an alternative caterer outside of the venue).
  
  The service fee of 10% for the venue is based on the final bar bill, so you are negatively impacted if you elect for top shelf or additional alcohol purchases. It seems basing this charge on number of people or vendors seems more fair.
  
  The roof leaked in several places on the day of the wedding, including directly on the band's keyboard and on guest tables. The tables had to be moved due to leaks, making some spaces tighter than they already were. I wasn't aware of the issue until I walked into the venue minutes before cocktail hour.
  
  You are only allowed to use one linen provider. She was very difficult to communicate with as she often did not respond to emails, especially if you were outside of the 3-4 month window prior to your wedding.

They were incredibly slow at responding to any form of communication and sometimes didn't respond at all. Despite meeting Michael multiple times, he could never seem to remember who I was. There was also the awkward relationship between Via Vecchia and their former exclusive caterer, Scott. Their relationship obviously ended badly, but I thought it was incredibly unprofessional for them to speak poorly of and bash each other while putting the bride and groom in the middle of their fight.
