Having to reschedule our initial wedding date from 2020 to 2021, there were lots of moving parts. Luckily, everyone at the Versailles was so helpful and accommodating. Angel and his entire team brought our vision to life and got us everything we needed and more. They were friendly and courteous to all of our guests. They handled the wedding crashers we had quickly and quietly. Not to mention - the food was INCREDIBLE. -

From the first time meeting Debbie and being shown around the venue to walking out the door post wedding reception, everything went so smooth and easy we couldn't have imagined anything better. Debbie and her crew did everything we asked for and made any request we had for our menu possible. Angel, our maitre'd, was so helpful beyond words. He knew everything that had to be done and when. Before the reception started, Angel brought my husband and I out to the reception room to see if there was anything we wanted to change and to just let us see the whole room before everyone came in and took their seats. He did the same thing with the cocktail hour area. There wasn't a single thing we wanted to change. Everything was PERFECT.
The food was out of this world good. Everyone was blown away by the amount and the quality. The servers were fantastic as well.
My husband and I LOVED how big the dance floor was and the yummy menu options. (two of the biggest parts of our wedding; the dancing and the food!)
The hotel itself was also awesome. They did a great job with handing out the guest accommodation goodie bags we had put together.
We cannot thank everyone at The Versailles Ballroom at the Ramada enough. -

The Versailles Ballroom was perfect for our wedding. They didn’t skip a beat in details, food or hospitality. Working with Debbie, Melissa and Angel was easy and straightforward. They answered all my questions thoroughly and promptly – and believe me there was a lot. All of our guests RAVED about the food during cocktail hour (even my grandmother who is super picky :) ). I couldn’t have asked for a better venue. Everything was exactly as I dreamed it would be. -

Out of all the venues my now wife and I visited, this venue has smashed the competition. The Versaille Ballroom in the Ramada Hotel in Tom's River was the best experience hands down I ever had. Debbie and Angel were outstanding, and their staff were exceptional. Debbie and Angel have taken care of us since day 1 we got there and by far felt like I was treated like a celebrity. Having my wedding anywhere else would have been absurd the way we were treated so excellent. Highly recommended coming to this location, and this location only. -

This was a wonderful place for my wedding. I had a Disney theme and everyone was very accommodating to what I wanted. When I emailed, I always got a response quickly, especially because I would want to change my times. Angel was absolutely amazing! I would love to get remarried here! -

My husband and I got married overseas in May but we had our reception at the Versailles in August! Our whole day was perfect! Even with only about 3 months of planning, the Versailles took care of everything and made it as easy as possible to create our day! Special thank you to Debbie and Angel for being on top of everything and always being there for us! Easy to contact, talk with, and plan with! They walked us through every step along the way and they always made me feel on top of everything! Couldn’t be nicer people. All of our guests had a fantastic time! The decor, the food, and the atmosphere couldn’t have been any better! Highly suggest The Versailles Ballroom! -

I had my wedding at the Ramada in Toms River on 11/16. There are not many words I can put into a sentence to describe my experience other then it was absolutely the best day/night of our entire lives. From the venue tour, to booking, planning, and execution it was flawless. Heidi, Angel, Melissa, and
Debbie were ALL undeniably amazing every step of the way. Debbie answered every and all questions I had no matter how many emails I sent day and night when I ran into problems or had questions. Angel was basically another part of our bridal party the night of the wedding with how much he pitched in and helped. He made our wedding an absolute dream come true. Highly highly recommend. -

We had the most amazing experience from day 1 with this staff. We only looked at 2 venues and decided as soon as we saw the Versailles Ballroom that this is where we wanted to have our wedding. The venue is beautiful, much more modern than some other venues, and they really give you a lot for your money! It was very convenient for us to have the wedding at the hotel since we had a lot of family traveling from out of state! They staff really seemed excited for us when we walked in and made us want to work with them which was not the experience we had at the 1st venue we looked at. Throughout the last year, I must have sent hundreds of emails all of which were answered very quickly and the staff never seemed annoyed! They were so accommodating and really went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect throughout the entire process. The week of the wedding, when I dropped off 8 giant Rubbermaid containers of decorations, Debbie didn't complain that there were too many boxes, she just asked how I wanted everything placed and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. The day of the wedding was perfect. We are soo grateful for Angel. He really is an angel. From decorating, to letting everyone know where they needed to be and when, to bustling my dress, to making us goodie bags from the cocktail hour, he really did everything to make sure the day was absolutely perfect and that we were happy. He even kept the drinks coming all night. We would recommend this venue and staff to anyone. Our wedding was everything we hoped it would be and more thanks to the wonderful crew. We can not thank you enough! -

My husband and I absolutely LOVED the Versailles allroom! Our wedding ceremony and reception were there. The staff was VERY accommodating! Anything we needed, they were there to assist us in every way! Our guests are still complimenting us on the venue, the food and the overall presentation of EVERYTHING! The Versailles Ballroom did an AMAZING job! Thank you! -

Christine Sent on 02/02/2018We just got married here on 1/19/2018, and our wedding couldn't have been any better! Heidi and Rachel were great to work with throughout the whole process - they were very diligent with responding to emails, and they were always very accommodating whenever I wanted to come check out the venue space to plan out the decor.
Angel was simply incredible. He always made sure my husband and I were taken care of, and made the night flow so smoothly. He laid out all of our decor perfectly, and made sure to triple-check everything to make sure our night was perfect. He even had extra entrees send to the bridal suite for us later that night to make sure we were never hungry!
Our guests were so complimentary of not only the food, but the service as well. The servers and bartenders were all so friendly and accommodating! The food was incredible - so much at cocktail hour that some people couldn't even eat their dinners because they were so full!
Overall, the Versailles Ballroom was an incredible venue and I couldn't be happier with how well our wedding went. Heidi, Rachel and Angel are true professionals, and I would recommend this venue to anyone! -

Patrick Sent on 07/03/2013Before we were married, Amy and I only looked at three venues - the Versailles being the last one. We had been to two weddings here before, and after meeting with Heidi we knew that this is where we were going to have our reception. The value for the price paid was unmatched - all things considered. We took advantage of their Winter Wonderland package, which made it an even better value. But pricing changes all the time, so there's no point in discussing that much here.
What I would like to make a point to discuss is Heidi. I don't have much experience with event halls or booking of them, but what I can say is that Heidi made the entire process painless and so easy. She was ALWAYS friendly, and responded to every single question we had - no matter how stupid or insignificant it was. She went above and beyond with everything, but especially when she helped me and my wife's maid of honor plan a surprise bridal shower at the Versailles too. I know that's part of her job, but I truly believe that Heidi goes above and beyond for her clients, and when you're spending this kind of money that is greatly appreciated. She is the best.
Angel, the maître d’ is also one of the most professional people I've ever worked with. He was there to cater to our every need on the day of our reception. He made us feel at home and didn't allow us to worry about a single thing.
The rest of the staff were also very professional, courteous, and did their part to make our day the best it could possibly be.
We love the Versailles Ballroom and now that we know the staff, we understand why it is always a pleasant experience. Many of our guests commented about the venue and the food - all extremely positive. We would not hesitate for a second to book another event with them, should the need arise. -

They demonstrated constant commitment, professionalism and attention to detail in providing a beautiful experience for our dream wedding. My new husband and I searched many venues throughout New Jersey looking for the perfect place to host our special day and the team at the Versailles Ballroom met every expectation. Not only was the ballroom beautiful but the moment we met Heidi, we knew that she sincerely wanted to make our special day everything we could hope for. She was quick to respond to emails, answer questions and even offer advice on things such as vendors and photography locations. She was always very receptive to our needs and made sure our choice package was carried out to perfection.
Our family and friends can’t stop raving about how beautiful everything was. The Maitre ‘D, Angel was so attentive and went way beyond the call of duty, he even went as far as helping me bustle my dress so that my bridal party could enjoy the cocktail hour. He made sure that my instructions for decorations were followed perfectly, and even added a few touches on his own to enhance my vision. He made sure that I got a moment in the ballroom by myself before guests arrived so that I could take everything in and was there the entire night making sure that everything ran smoothly. I would recommend the Versailles Ballroom to everyone I know as their choice reception hall. Kudos to Heidi and the staff; and keep up the great work.

Once we saw that we were sold, our guests rocked the dance floor all night. The staff was great and Angel was amazing that day. He helped to make everything go smooth. The food was excellent, plenty of it for cocktail hour and the room looked elegant and beautiful. I would recommend this venue. -

Rebecca Sent on 12/19/2011The Ramada Inn is the perfect place to have a wedding. All of the staff was amazing, so nice and helpful. Heidi the coordinator was great, she always promptly answered emails and phone calls and was there to answer all my questions, Angel the MatraDee was great too he understood everything that I wanted and was always there to help, and Debbie who filled in for Angel that day of my wedding was great to always there for me and helped me with everything I needed and kept the night going! The Bar staff was great too and always kept us with drinks in our hand and learned our drinks! The food was amazing we ate every bite of it and everyone loved the food, from the cocktail hour to the salad and dinner everything was to die for (especially the honey glazed salmon which I dreamed about ever since the tasting :) ) The Ramada Inn was truly the reception site for my dream wedding and I am happy to say that everyone there helped my dream come true. I’m so happy I was able to have my wedding reception there and I wouldn’t have changedanything except i wish it didnt fly by so fast! Thank you to everyone at the Ramada you were all great! -

Melody Sent on 03/17/2011The entire experience with Erin and her team at the Ramada was wonderful! They were so helpful from start to end, and Angel was great the entire day of! We had both the ceremony and reception there, and the transition was seamless. We were pretty much running late all day, but we never felt rushed by any of the staff there. The food was incredible too! I would HIGHLY recommend the Versailles ballroom to anyone looking for a wedding venue. -

2) Angel the Maitre'd is just the best! He made sure that everything was perfect! I had children and most did like the food we had and Angel got them chicken fingers and fries. He also fixed a plate of food for me and my husband to take to our room to make sure he got some! :)
3) The Ballroom and Ceremony room was beautiful! I couldn't ask for anything nicer! I used their center pieces and flowers in the rooms and everyone just loved them!
4) Our suite was great! It was large and roomy with 2 bathrooms, one that had a whirlpool tub that was great after a long day/night of dancing! There was also a chilled bottle of champagne waiting for us when we got back!
Over all it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend any couple to get married here! -

Laura Sent on 02/25/2010My husband and I had our reception at the Versailles Ballroom on January 30, 2010! The entire planning process was made simple and stress free. Tracy was our wedding planner and she was the sweetest! Any questions, problems, or concerns were taken care of right away. We never had to worry if things were going to go wrong. They allowed us to come with our parents for a food/ cake testing several months in advance! The food was amazing! There was so much in the cocktail hour that almost all of our guest told us they could barely touch their dinner. The MD Angel was awesome! He came over to us at least 10 times asking us if we needed anything and if everything was ok. The entire event ran so smoothly without a hitch! The venue was beautiful and very easy to plan decor around. I WOULDNT HAVE CHANGED A THING! It was the best day of our life and we couldnt have picked a better reception site to celebrate in! Thanks to everyone that helped make our day perfect! We will never forget you!

The Best Day of Our Lives thanks to Versailles
I truly cannot say enough good things about the Versailles Ballroom. Debbie is always so quick to respond and answer questions no matter what time of day that it is. Angel was a godsend! He was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond all day long, the day was perfect and a lot of that was due to Angel. He helped run us through rehearsal when my officiant couldn't make it. He decorated the venue as if he knew exactly what I was thinking. He even helped bustle my dress. My day was everything I could have ever hoped for and it had much to do with Angel.
The food was also amazing, every single guest RAVED about cocktail hour! They all loved it. The cake, which was part of the package was delicious as well.
The Versailles is an hour from our home but it was most definitely worth the drive. I would not change a single thing about my day, and the staff at Versailles is much to do with that. -

The Managers Helped Save Our Wedding!!!
I work at a local bar close to the The Ramada in Toms River and in nearly a year and a 1/2 Of planning I heard nothing but good things about the venue. Of the over 40 friends, family, locals and regulars I talked to about the Ramada literally not one person had a single negative thing to say. Most people had been there for more than one occasion.
The staff and especially the managers Debbie and Angel more than lived up to their reputation. Kelly and I were having our ceremony at the Ramada to be followed by the reception. Six minutes before we were to start the ceremony they informed me that our DJ wasn’t showing because he had screwed up the date. Upon my request they tried to shield the news from my soon to be bride as we tried to figure out the situation.
Within less than 5 minutes they had three reliable, local DJs on the phone all willing to get there ASAP. They had Mark from Off the Chart Entertainment there and setup before cocktail hour was finished.
They also were working on in house music to buy us time. What could have been a catastrophe turned out to be a great party.
Kelly and I are very grateful for The Ramada, it’s wait and bar staff and especially the managers Debbie and Angel. So many people raved about how beautiful the room looked, how great the service was, how delicious the food and food choices were and how there was never a line at the bar because of the quick service.
We Thank God we had the venue and staff that could turn a nightmare into a dream wedding.
