Working with Vermont Tent Company was fantastic! Roberta made everything so easy — she went through all the items we thought we needed to rent and suggested additional items we hadn’t considered. We rented the tent, tables, chairs, a bar, and glassware, and everything looked beautiful.
They set up the tent a few days before our welcome party and picked everything up the next day. Coordination with the Smugglers’ Notch staff made the process completely stress-free for us. Everyone at Vermont Tent Company was easy to communicate with, answered all our questions, and was very timely.
We would absolutely recommend them — they made our welcome party setup seamless, beautiful, and worry-free! -

We wanted to take a moment to express our appreciation to Kristi and the entire Vermont Tent Company team for their remarkable contributions to our wedding.
The lounge set, bar sets, and linens provided by Vermont Tent created the perfect ambiance for our “golden hour” cocktail hour, setting the stage for an evening of warmth and celebration. The elegance and comfort of the lounge set were the talk of the hour, inviting our guests to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The bar sets were not only functional but also added a touch of sophistication that complemented the overall theme of our wedding.
As we transitioned to the dinner hour, the napkins and fruitwood farm tables you supplied were the ideal match for our vision. They brought a rustic yet refined feel to the dining experience, and our guests were thoroughly impressed by the attention to detail and the quality. Kristi did a fantastic job providing samples of fabrics, and even included extras that she thought might compliment our colors.

I worked with Emily in getting a quote and then editing it multiple times throughout the process. The tent was delivered and set up prior to arrival at the venue. All of the items we rented were great quality and perfect for what we needed. Emily was great to work with and was great in making suggestions on items we might need without “selling” them to us. I would definitely use them again! -

Vermont Tent has it all and making changes on your order is a simple matter of an email. They are flexible and communicate with you from the moment you hire them. They patiently answer any questions you may have, and if you visit the showroom, they will show you in person their many options. Highly recommend. -

We used VT Tent Rentals to rent our cutlery, plates, glassware, and linens for our wedding on June 19, 2021. We had an ever-fluctuating guest list with the impact of COVID and they were always quick to respond in updating our rentals. The rentals are very affordable and great quality. I highly recommend them. -

VT Tent Co came recommended from our venue (Basin Harbor) and did a great job! They provided our tent, lighting, dance floor, stage for band, 4 farm tables (that we combined with the white round tables provided by our venue), Napa chairs for the farm tables and sweetheart table, and wine barrels which we used multiple times throughout the weekend. They were great at helping us figure out the right size tent, when we weren’t sure how many guests we’d get and also leaving room to accommodate rain (which we luckily didn’t have). We invited 260 and ended up with 200 and our 60x100 foot Centur tent was perfect. They came and set everything up the day before which was great. Briana was very responsive throughout the planning process and great to work with! -

We had a great experience working with Vermont Tent for our wedding rentals. Emily, who we mostly worked with, was super professional and communicative and helpful throughout the whole process. She provided great guidance in the showroom and was able to help us pick tableware and linens that were perfect for the space where we were having our reception – she even had a carpet sample from the venue to help us pick the color for our napkins! They were able to work with our caterer and provide some last minute requests with total flexibilty and ease. Definitely a great, professional team with a wide selection of rentals. -

It was overwhelming, but Emily guided us through everything and made it fun! She was incredibly helpful when it came to designing a seating plan, and was flexible when we requested a revision just weeks away from the wedding. The selections offered at VT Tent are excellent with a variety of chairs, china, linens, flatware, glassware, lighting, etc.! Thank you, Emily! -

We used Vermont Tent for practically everything for our October 2025 wedding in Burlington, and we maintain there couldn't have been a better option to make our dream day come to life!
Our venue was pretty much just a field, so we knew from the start we'd have to bring almost everything in. Early on in the planning process, almost every other vendor we spoke to said they wouldn't trust anyone else except Vermont Tent, so we spent little time looking into other options. From our first conversation with Sue, our assigned event coordinator from Vermont Tent, we knew we'd be in good hands. The process to reserve everything was both easy and flexible, and even though we had a LOT of questions, Sue always got back to us within the hour with thorough answers.
We visited the showroom to pick out the exact items we wanted around 6 months before our date and met Kristi, another event coordinator. Like Sue, she was so knowledgeable and helpful - we definitely recommend going to the showroom if you can as they have everything you could imagine you might want for your event!
We were on site the day our tent got delivered, and we have to give a BIG shoutout to their team that sets up the tent. All of the guys were so friendly, and when we asked if they could move our dance floor a few feet over or when one of the legs broke off of a couch, they didn't hesitate to quickly help!
We also had to make a lot of last-minute additions and changes leading up to our wedding (minds change over the course of a year of planning, after all!) and each time there was never any issue or delay in doing so. Thank you Sue and Kristi for putting up with the hundreds of emails you received from us!
For our wedding day, we rented a clear tent, a dance floor, a bar, an outdoor lounge set, all the tables, chairs, linens, tableware, silverware, and heaters from VTC. We also rented a smaller tent and space heaters for the additional events we had that weekend (welcome night, after party). Everything was in pristine condition and looked absolutely beautiful.
All in all, there isn't a single person at Vermont Tent who wouldn't go out of their way to make your event dreams come true, nor a company that has more rentals to offer in Vermont! If you want a seamless and stress-free experience, definitely book them! -

Professional and Seamless
VT Tent was great to work with for our wedding rentals! We needed ceremony chairs, dinner napkins, and patio heaters. All arrived on time and without any interruption. Brianna was wonderful coordinating timelines and offering solutions to potential pick up times. Every time I needed an updated quote, they provided one easily. They are very professional and provide quality rentals at reasonable costs! -

Though our coordinator facilitated the majority of the communication, we are so pleased with the rentals from Vermont Tent Company. We were able to get everything we wanted or needed as they had many different options and styles to choose from. They were extremely helpful and responsive in executing our vision, and we got many compliments from our family, friends, and guests. Though they are not the cheapest option in Vermont, their extensive selection of rental items and customer service is well worth the price. We would use them again in the future in a heartbeat! -

Kat Sent on 10/01/2010Nancy Meade was fantastic to work with! She often had questions (for me to ask of other vendors) that I never would have known to ask otherwise. The tent was beautiful and while the dance floor was a little rough around the edges (literally - not for stockinged feet) the whole thing was great. Their packages are all inclusive which takes a lot off your mind...everything for each guest from linens to tableware is included. The prices are comparable but not the cheapest you'll find...the service was worth the extra though. Everything went off without a hitch and everyone loved the look and feel of the whole thing. Would recommend these guys. -

Easy and flexible to work with- Brianna was great to work with, and patient with lots of changes. I do wish they had a better selection of plates/glasses, and other table setting stuff….but I am very picky with design, and ultimately I found most of what I needed and was very happy with the end result. -

We worked with Roberta from VT Tent for our Topnotch Resort wedding. They provided a 80'x40' clear top tent along with a white dance floor, bistro lighting, white lounge furniture, high and low cocktail tables, as well as a few specialty linens. Everything came together exactly how I imagined it would. They were easy to work with and laid out the costs in updated event orders every time we made any edits. The end result was perfect! Kirsten, our point of contact, was super helpful to show all options and fast response to emails. Some stress happened with the technical visit regarding dates and layout. We definitely would recommend them, just would make sure to have all written in emails since the beginning. -
