Professional, with stunning flowers!
I highly recommend Verde!! They did our October 2023 NYC wedding. We were freaking out as we lost our original florist a month before our wedding. Recommended by our planner, Vanessa and Michael at Verde stepped in to save the day!
I sent a few inspiration pictures and the final product turned out even better than I could have imagined. Even though we were on an condensed timeline, they were responsive, professional and so easy to work with. They worked within our budget and they truly made our day!! Don’t look any further, you’ve found the perfect florist! -

We are so appreciative and thankful for Verde's professionalism and expertise-- the flowers were beautiful at our recent wedding which varied from large, artistic displays at our ceremony to small corsages and boutonnieres for the wedding party. Verde's team worked with us to perfect the arrangements to our taste and style. 10/10, loved working with them! -

Vanessa was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding!!
From the initial planning session to the actual event, Vanessa ensured that the entire process was seamless, while also providing us with helpful suggestions and tips, so that every little detail was perfect.
The centerpieces were absolutely gorgeous and fit the space perfectly - needless to say, I would 100000% use Verde Custom Flowers again in the future and recommend them to anyone else looking for a florist!! -

We can’t say enough good things about Verde flowers. Michael and Vanessa were super communicative and personal throughout the process. We worked with them for our August 22 wedding and they exceeded expectations. Our flowers were impeccable - the tablescapes were stunning, the Chuppah arrangement was beautiful and the entire process was seamless. And they really listened and executed our vision. Planning a wedding can be incredibly overwhelming but Verde flowers made it fun, exciting and easy. Delivery was on time, installation was a breeze and we couldn’t be happier with the final result. We highly recommend working with Michael and Vanessa for any and all occasions. Thank you both so much! -

Above and Beyond What We Could Have Imagined!
Thank you so much to you and your team much for the stunning flowers and greenery that you did for our wedding at The Foundry on April 24th, 2022. They were so beautiful and both of us wish that we could keep them forever and in fact, some guests did take the arrangements home at the end of the night! As we speak, I have my bouquet sitting in a vase at home trying to get the most out of the amazing peonies and ranunculus.
We really appreciate your hard work with our wedding flowers. They were just amazing and so much more above and beyond what we expected! Everything from the bouquets to boutonnieres were exactly what we wanted and more. You were truly able to bring our vision to life. It was like a dream to step into The Foundry and see the atmosphere they helped create.
We are also grateful for your partnership throughout the process. You took the time to share your insight with us and give us tips on what you thought would best suit our venue, our style and our palette. I cannot get over how on the mark my bouquet was to what we had discussed. The nearly all white was the right way to go and was a perfect compliment to her dress.
Thank you again for helping make our day so incredible. We'd highly recommend your team to anyone.

Vanessa at Verde Flowers was one of the MVPs of my wedding. I was working with a raw, open space (The Bordone LIC) and fearful that without the right flowers, it would feel empty and cold. However, flowers was not an area where I wanted to blow my budget - and I also do not have a good eye for that kind of thing, so I came to her clueless about what I wanted. Unlike other vendors I considered, Vanessa was kind, warm, and understanding, and made it clear that she would help me design something within budget that would be beautiful. I'm so glad I chose her for the job, because she did exactly that. With ongoing Covid concerns, we actually never met in person, but she and her team went out of their way to FaceTime with me to show me flower options and help me make my selections. Everything turned out even more gorgeous than I had imagined, and my guests complimented the flowers. Delivery to the venue and hotel was easy and on time (early, actually). I credit Vanessa and her team for their vision and helping me execute a beautiful experience for me, my husband, and our guests. -

Every bride's review on here is accurate, and more! When you meet Vanessa, you just know, her and Michael are "the one". I had spoken to a few different florists, and once I connected with Verde Flowers, it was a game changer. I had a VERY specific vision for our wedding in October. I sent over a few different photos to Vanessa, and she spent an hour on the phone with me going through every detail. Since the vision I had was a little complex, Vanessa recommended that we meet in person. She went out of her way to have a small mock setup for us, and to say she nailed my vision would be incorrect she knocked it out of the park, it was even better than i could have imagined. Throughout this Covid mess, she has been so helpful. Trying to coordinate every vendor is hard when you are re-scheduling your wedding, but i didn't even have to speak with Vanessa, because i knew whatever my decision was she would stand behind me. There are NO vendors out there where you could do this. When booking a vendor, you want to make sure that trust is there, and I am so lucky that we have Michael and Vanessa. If I could, I would give them 100 stars. They will complete your vision and more. -

Thank you so much for your incredible efforts to make our wedding flowers/decor look impeccable and flawless.
You were incredibly easy and fun to work with and provided us with amazing recommendations on how to make our vision come to life within our budget - everything looked as perfect as it felt. People were going NUTS over the centerpieces and overhead greenery in the barn.
Vanessa, you were super communicative and responsive from beginning to end. It didn't feel like communicating with a vendor; moreso a friend answering our annoying questions and putting us back on the right track.
Y'all are the BOOST & your talents are unmatched! -

A true artist!!
I can honestly say Michael and Vanessa made our wedding truly perfection. Michael was such an artist when it comes to completing our vision and Vanessa was able to articulate exactly what we were looking for with added insight into how we should create the perfect setting. As a team they truly created EXACTLY what we were looking for. They are also so nice and put out such a calm confident energy, I knew I wouldn't have to worry about a thing. Would recommend them to anyone!!!!! -

Finding your florist can be tricky, and I had spoken to a few others before connecting with Vanessa at Verde. As soon as we started chatting, I knew she was "the one". What I had in mind was a unique greenery installation, and we had an in-depth phone call where she took great care in getting all of the details and nuances of my wedding and what I envisioned. She came back quickly with a proposal and mood board that was spot-on. It can be hard to trust that your florist will understand what you're looking for, but I had zero apprehensions...it was clear that Vanessa "got it", and I knew I was in incredibly good hands. The flowers/greenery design they did on our wedding day was even more beautiful and perfect than I imagined!! And her and Michael are just so lovely, warm, and personable. When I went up to their (adorable) storefront a few weeks before the wedding to prepare samples and finalize everything, we ended up sitting and chatting for a while after, just enjoying each others company. Working with Verde was such a pleasure and I highly, highly recommend them!! -

Working with Verde Flowers for our Wedding was one of the best decisions! From the moment I started working with them I felt at ease that they would be able to execute my vision. I wanted something specific but also wanted their opinion and expertise and thats exactly what I got. The whole process working with them was so easy and fun! I loved this part of the planning with them. I was able to go in and show them what I was looking for and have them give me ideas as well. The way everything turned out was EXACTLY what I wanted and even more magical than I could have dreamed. They are also reasonably priced as I never felt that things were overpriced or that I wasn't getting a fair quote especially for all that I was asking of them not just in floral but in candle rental. I would work with them again in a heartbeat! :) -

After talking with a few other florists who didn't really give us warm and fuzzies and/or were wildly out of our price range we had a wonderful experience with Vanessa at Verde. She was the only florist we talked to who I felt really cared about how the flowers fit into the overall vibe of the wedding. She also did an amazing job working within our relatively tight budget and helping us figure out techniques to maximize the budget. For example, she provided an optional candle package that added warmth and decor to our venue without breaking the bank like fresh flowers might have in the same space. I'm not someone who had every detail of the flowers figured out ahead of time but Vanessa somehow took what little I knew I wanted (e.g. color) and created the most beautiful centerpieces and bouquets. I'll be honest, flowers were not a huge priority for me, but I was blown away by how beautiful they turned out when the bouquets were delivered to me the morning of the wedding. While they are not located in Manhattan, Verde is right off the subway in the Bronx and was more convenient to get to than we expected. They were also great about meeting us a little later in the day, past the time when the store normally closes, to accommodate our work schedules. Highly recommend!! -

Verde Flowers created beautiful bouquets, centerpieces and the most stunning hanging greenery installation above my dance floor that guests still comment on today! Vanessa is the most kind and positive person, who listens to what you want, makes thoughtful suggestions and works with you to create a vision within your budget. She took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and explain pricing behind every detail with alternative options if something was out of my budget. And the final product was more than I could’ve ever imagined. Her husband Michael is extremely talented and took my breath away when I walked into my reception. They’re an incredible team and their work is stunning. It was very important to me to work not only with talented people, but kind hearted, patient, and caring, and Michael and Vanessa are exactly that and more. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning their wedding and looking for beautiful work that won’t break your budget. -

I can’t say enough about how incredibly BEAUTIFUL the flowers were at my wedding last week. Vanessa and Michael did a fabulous job- the flowers were so beautiful our guests could not stop complimenting them!! Vanessa captured my and my mom’s vision of different shades of blush, fuschia, and rose. My bouquet and my bridal party’s bouquets, and the groom and groomsmen’s boutonnières were perfection. Finally, the chuppa was something out of a movie it was so beautiful! I am a flower person and the flowers were very important to me - I can not recommend Verde Custom Flowers enough! -

We wanted the flowers and decor to make reference to baseball in an understated way. Vanessa immediately understood the vision and worked to create it. She even figured out how to seamlessly include a few of our baseball bats into the Chuppah. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and highly recommend Verde!

Ashley Sent on 07/18/2018I cannot even begin to express what an amazing experience it was to work with Vanessa and Michael of Verde Flowers. They were recommended on our venue’s vendor list and after researching other options, I could easily see why. The two of them not only understood what my now-husband and I wanted, but were super accommodating and encouraging to have around in the last push of wedding planning. Vanessa was very candid with us, especially if we mentioned something and she thought it would be better to either go in a different direction or scrap it all together. We felt like we were in good hands and it was very liberating to be trust them with what we wanted (and they made everything better!) Initially, we had booked them with a much lower budget but as planning moved on and our budget shifted, we were able to increase our floral budget and have no regrets about it. We were already so happy with the trial run and samples they had prepared, but nothing prepared us for how incredibly lovely everything looked on our wedding day (6/9/18.) Michael managed to find off-season cockscombs, which is my favorite flower and I was utterly thrilled to see them in the arrangements, as well as all the lush greenery and blooms they sourced. And of course, the bouquets and boutonnieres were vibrant and looked perfect with everyone’s attire. The flowers created such a magical atmosphere during the ceremony and reception, so much that people are still telling us how sublime they were! An amazing power couple.... Vanessa is a savvy business woman and Michael is a true floral artist. Thank you so much for everything!
