From start to finish, working with Venezia (and specifically Jen McGuire) was an absolute joy! Our December, 2024 wedding reception was everything we dreamed of and we could not be happier! From our very first meeting, Jen took the stress out of wedding planning and put us at ease right away. With her knowledge, expertise, and professionalism, she reassured us that everything would come together in the way we imagined. We felt so secure during the whole planning process knowing that we were in great hands with Jen and the Venezia team. This was true even though the new upper mezzanine space was still being built when we booked the venue! We never felt worried, and the new space was absolutely beautiful and perfect for us! I sent Jen so many long emails with endless questions and she always got right back to me with helpful information that truly made the process fun and as easy as possible. On the day of, Venezia delivered the night of our lives! We had two attendants who took amazing care of us the whole night making sure we got a chance to eat and had everything we needed to fully enjoy ourselves. The food was incredible, and our guests have continued to tell us how much they loved it! Everyone had a blast with the hot cocoa bar and espresso martini ice luge too! The service was top-notch and made us feel so special. We could not recommend Venezia highly enough! We are so grateful to have such wonderful memories of our wedding day that we will always cherish.

We had the most incredible experience hosting our NYE wedding reception at Venezia. From the very beginning, Nina made the entire process so smooth and stress-free. She was organized, patient, and truly cared about making our vision a reality. Nina is the best!

On the big day, the staff went above and beyond. They were attentive, professional, and made sure everything ran seamlessly. We heard so many compliments from our guests about how amazing the food was—people are still talking about it!

Venezia is a gorgeous venue and we fell in love with it the first time we saw it. We knew our experience would be magical, but what made it even more magical are the amazing staff who worked really hard to make everything perfect for our day.

Nina took great care of us, she was so well organized and had everything clearly outlined to make sure we had a very easy and smooth ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We were running late coming in from the hotel, and we are so grateful that Nina had everything all set to smoothly get us in the venue and ready for the ceremony.

Dario was an incredible bartender, he had met with us prior to our wedding date and helped us pick the best options for his/her drinks. He took great care of us and our guests! Both of us, the bride and groom, were very well taken care of, the staff made sure we had plenty of food, drinks and water, we felt like royalty. All our guests were so impressed with the delicious food and the professionalism of the staff.

Where does one begin! Jennifer was the absolute best wedding coordinator a bride could ever ask for ! She helped answer all of our questions and helped us to keep within or budget. Jennifer was flexible, kind, and so easy to get along with. She kept in contact all throughout the wedding process and was on her A game the day of the wedding. She worked well with all of my vendors and made sure everyone and everything was all set ! The staff at the Venezia was incredible as well. Huge shout out to Rob for keeping up fed and all of our guests happy and Devon for the best espresso martinis ever !!!! The venue was gorgeous and everything a bride could ever dream of. We love you Jennifer and staff and wish we could do it all over again. Thank you for all of your help, kindness, love and support !

My husband and I are more than pleased with our wedding at Venezia. Everything from the very beginning when we chose this venue to the second we walked out of the venue at the end of our wedding was perfect. Nina the event coordinator was so great to work with and did not make me worry about anything. She always had everything under control and was on top of the planning the whole entire process. Our wedding attendants Rob and Aaron were a very pleasant surprise. They literally went above and beyond for my husband, kids, our parents, and myself the whole entire time, I don't know what I would of done without them! The actual venue itself is so amazing and beautiful. Everyone who came to the wedding still talks about what hidden gem this place is and how beautiful it was, how delicious the food was, and how amazing the views from the deck were. We did the brunch wedding and had our ceremony on the grand staircase. It was beautiful and perfect and everything we had hoped for. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a wedding venue.

We are so happy that we chose to have our wedding at Venezia! Everything about the venue exceeded our expectations. Working with Nina, the event coordinator, was effortless. She worked closely with our vendors, had great communication, was well organized, and ensured that everything went as planned on our big day. The entire staff at Venezia were exceptional. They truly went above and beyond to make our wedding as special as we had imagined. Our personal attendants made sure we and our parents never had to ask for a drink or hors d'oeuvres, they showed the groom how to carry the train of the wedding dress, and they opened the ballroom doors for our grand reception entrance on the exact right note of our song. The food and drinks were superb and the setting at Venezia, with the beautiful ballroom and deck overlooking the ocean, cannot be beat! Our guests (and we) were stunned by the venue and the service. The Venezia made all of my fairytale wedding dreams come true and more. My husband and I got married this New Years Eve (12/31/2019) at the Venezia. We had both our ceremony & reception at the Venezia. Our ceremony was slightly unique in being that it took place on the stairs in the foyer, followed by a cocktail hour in the foyer, and then a reception in the main ballroom ending at 1am. I don’t even know where to start with how amazing EVERYTHING at the Venezia was and I want to make sure I include everything!
Venue: The Venezia is absolutely beautiful, from its location on the harbor overlooking Boston’s skyline, to the stunning white marble foyer with its beautiful grand staircase, to the elegant ballroom that overlooks the harbor with floor to ceiling windows. Everything about this venue is truly breathtaking!
Food: The food is amazing. I have had so many guests that are still calling and telling me how amazing the food was. Our photography (Mark Davidson Photography) did a really great job of capturing some really great shots of the incredible food displays that Venezia put out and I will attach them to this review. Everything was delicious.
Service: I have also had so many guests calling me telling how incredible the service was at the Venezia. So many guests have commented on how attentive the staff was to everything, they never felt like they were looking around to find someone to help them. I had a few guests that are actually in the catering/event field and they were among the ones commenting about how impressed they were with the service they received at the Venezia.
The day of, we had 2 personal attendants, Frances and Rob, that were with the bridal party in the bridal suite prior to the ceremony until the end of the night. They were incredible! Frances was so helpful in the bridal suite helping me and my bridesmaids and making sure we didn’t need anything and running back and forth between the bridal suite upstairs to the room where the groom & groomsmen were. And Rob was seriously amazing from getting the keys to open the gate to the dock so we could take pictures out there, to making sure I had my favorite beer (Angry Orchard) he was just amazing!
Brenda: And finally, there is not one word that can describe Brenda Seekins, the leader of the entire show, because she truly is a super woman. From the very beginning, she is by your side guiding you through the entire wedding planning process. She is not only so nice, but she makes you feel like you are the only bride that she working with! She really spends so much time working with you so that you are getting the wedding of all your dreams.
I made all of my centerpieces and the majority of all of our wedding decor, and the weekend before the wedding, she spent an entire afternoon, going over everything single centerpiece and piece of decor to make sure that it was all set up perfectly.
She really went above and beyond when she re-adjusted her personal schedule, and came in on her day off to run my wedding rehearsal because she wanted to make sure that everything was perfect for my big day. And I had a huge bridal party, 11 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen, with the ceremony taking place on the grand staircase in the foyer. So this was not your traditional ceremony, and required a lot of attention to make sure that everyone understood what they were doing so that everything looked good.
And when I tell you the ceremony was incredible, it was out of this world. I will admit, I was a little worried that it just wasn’t going to look good or something would go wrong, but it was perfect and better than I ever could have imagined! The day of Brenda just does it ALL and somehow makes it look effortless (I will also include pictures from the ceremony). She truly is a badass boss woman! There’s a reason why she has this job, because no one else could do it as incredible as her!

I just want to thank everyone at the Venezia, the entire staff, Brenda, and anyone who helped make our day so incredible! I couldn’t have dreamt of a more perfect day and that because of everyone at the Venezia!

My Husband and I had our wedding at Venezia Boston in August and it was beautiful! This was a busy year for my husband and I, but nevertheless we were able to plan our wedding in 8 months. From the time we had our tour at Venezia to the minute we said I do, we felt as if we had support every step of the way thanks to Brenda. Brenda was great!! She was very responsive via phone and email in answering all of our many questions, suggesting vendors, and was able to meet with us when we needed.

The day of the wedding, we had attendants helping us with anything we needed (Thanks Robert And Frances) and of course Brenda was there coordinating and making sure everything went smoothly! I got ready at a hotel and finishing touches were done in the bridal suite, which is really nice! It’s a cozy and classy bridal suite large enough for our bridal party and us. The furniture there is classy enough for photos and their large mirror is a must have for preparation photos.

We were blessed to have beautiful weather on our wedding day. Although there is no outdoor ceremony space at Venezia, there are different indoor options. If an outdoor ceremony is a must for you, this will not be the place. Our ceremony was lovely! We were married on the grand staircase. We still had plenty of outdoor photo opportunities as this wedding venue overlooks the water and has a beautiful gazebo!

The reception ballroom is very elegant. Whatever theme you’re going for, you can achieve. The ballroom is large enough to accommodate a huge wedding, but still fitting for a small wedding like ours. Not much decor is needed at all since it’s so beautiful, so even the smallest accents are enough to achieve the look you want.

There’s plenty of space to dance on the dance floor and you have the added bonus of an outdoor deck for guests to mingle and get some fresh air.

We were very happy with our choice to get married there, so if you’re looking to get married in Boston, you should at least make an appointment and check it out. Hope you love it as much as we did!

I would highly recommend Venezia to anyone planning their wedding. From the first meeting, they responded and took care of my every need. My guest raved about the food and atmosphere. It begins and ends with Brenda Seekins, Venezia’s wedding planner/coordinator. Our daughters’ vision for her dream wedding became a reality on December 31,2018. Brenda worked tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of the wedding was magical. She transformed the venue in to a lounge like atmosphere with a winter wonderland theme. It was simply gorgeous and her efforts exceeded all of our expectations. In addition ,the cuisine was superb, the servers attentive and kind and the desserts simply divine. We had the utmost faith in Brenda’s ability from the start but the finished product was beyond our wildest dreams, perfection ! Thank you Brenda and your entire Venezia catering staff for a job well done. We applaud you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts...

Venezia came highly recommended to us and they did not disappoint. Brenda was amazing to work with. As a very detail-oriented, some what of a control freak (me, not her), Brenda put me at ease from the moment we met. She knows her stuff and then some. The entire staff the day of was tremendous. I did not have a care in the world and 100% relaxed/enjoyed our big day. The food was melt in your mouth delicious. The dessert bar was spectacular and the late night snacks really hit the spot.

My daughter had her wedding reception at Venezia on May 25th 2018 and let me tell you the guest are still talking about what a wonderful time they had and how awesome the food and staff were.
As for Brenda the wedding coordinator I cannot say enough about her she was absolutely fabulous and saw to our ever need.
We had such a wonderful experience we wish we could do it all over again. So we told are other daughter when she is ready we know were her reception will be. Hands down an amazing venue and an even more amazing Event staff. Brenda is best and made our whole wedding process easy, fun and wonderful.

Working with Brenda and the team at Venezia was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Brenda was very responsive and did a great job laying out all of our options and was super responsive via phone and email when we had questions regarding rentals, vendors, food, etc. The vendor fair they have is invaluable and allowed us to try tons of food options and pick some of our vendors. On the day of the wedding, we didn’t have any concerns because we knew that they understood what we wanted and that every detail would be perfectly managed and it was. We had 300 people and the service was quick and there was never a big line at the bar or any overcrowding. Everyone keeps talking about what an amazing wedding it was and how it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. I would highly recommend this venue!

We celebrated our wedding in August, 2017 and held our reception at Venezia. This is truly a hidden gem in Boston and we highly recommend this venue. Venezia offers delicious food, fantastic service, and the views are breathtaking. We took pictures outside in the gazebo and on the boardwalk. The reception area is beautiful, we especially loved the white piano (we recommend having a pianist play during cocktail hour) and the staircase adding such warmth and elegance to the area as well as the chandelier. While our guests enjoyed the cocktail hour, the bridal party freshened up in our very own private bridal suite, which had everything we needed! I'm truly most grateful for Brenda Seekins, she is AMAZING, very personable and guides you through the entire process with such ease. She made our wedding day effortless (one thing I remember Brenda saying is "you just show up looking gorgeous and I will do all of the driving")! On our wedding day, believe me, we never felt so relaxed. We did not have to worry about anything, Brenda did all the driving! Thank you so much, Lacye & David :)

We chose Venezia as our venue for our July 7, 2017 wedding. We already knew that the food would be amazing since we have eaten at the restaurant mulitple times. The venue is absolutely beautiful being located on the water with the Boston skyline in the background. When it came time to book we met with Brenda Seekins who was very accommodating to our needs. She was there for us through the year and a half engagment to help with anything we needed. It was nice to have her there to make everything a little less stressful. The ambience of the venue was absolutely gorgeous . We chose to have our nuptials and reception there. Our ceremony was on the stairs in the main entrance which made it feel more intimate. The food was incredible, which we already knew. It is 3 months now since the wedding and our guest are still talking about how delicious the food was. Also they can not stop talking about how elegant and breath taking our reception was. If you are looking for the perfect place to start as husband and wife, we could not think of a better place. The staff, the food and venue are amazing. It was the best night of our lives.

Ran into Brenda waiting to have dinner last night. Our daughter was married there in 2011 and I still receive compliments about ALL aspects of the wedding. If you are on the fence you will never go wrong choosing this hidden gem. The dessert bar is still the most talked about thing from my experience. Everything was phenomenal.

First, I just want to preface by saying that my wedding is not until May 2017 but I felt compelled to write a review about Brenda Seekins and the planning process.

Brenda is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. She is so lovely and supportive. I am a nervous/anxious/procrastinator bride. I live in another state but whenever I need to meet or talk to her, she always makes herself available amidst her very busy busy schedule. I'm pretty sure she can assess my anxiety regarding the wedding and she always cheers me up by reminding me not to worry and that everything will be OK, that we have time, to breathe, etc... In addition, I can always share with her what's going on in my life, because that's the kind of person she is - she cares. Whenever I meet with her, I feel completely at ease and I don't feel as nervous. She always gives me honest suggestions and tells me as it is, which I appreciate. Not to mention, she's hilarious, she always makes me laughs. Our emails are business but very often so, there's an LOL somewhere in there =)

And the Venezia is beautiful - the banquet room is spacious and overlooks the water. It's always clean and immaculate when I come. The parking lot is also very spacious.

I will most definitely update this review after my wedding but just wanted to share my experience thus far =)

Do it! Everyone here was so accommodating, the food was delicious, the memory of the dessert table still makes my mouth water, and the wedding reception turned out perfectly!

We just had our wedding reception at Venezia on 9/17/16. I don't even know where to begin on the great things I have to say! When people asked where we were having my reception and I told them Venezia, the first thing they'd say is "I went to a wedding there and it was one of the best weddings I've been to!" THEY WERE NOT WRONG! Brenda Seekins was unbelievable to work with! She was so sweet, she was on the ball throughout the whole planning process and on the day of she helped keep us calm and relaxed. The food was amazing! Just about everyone had a clean plate! The room was gorgeous, so spacious and clean and they did a wonderful job setting up everything the way we wanted it. It was a gorgeous night weather wise and being able to use the private patio was awesome. The staff was so attentive and we took great care of us from the second the 1st guest arrived until the last guest left. I HIGHLY recommend Venezia for a wedding reception!!!

We had an amazing wedding experience at Venezia. Brenda Seekins & team did an outstanding job! Our guests raved about the venue, food and service. Also, having access to the outdoor patio was an added bonus for our guests to enjoy the beautiful Boston skyline. We highly recommend this venue & team for your special day.

I think the LEAST stressful part of my wedding planning was anything that had to do with Venezia. Brenda was amazing. She made everything so easy for us!

Our service ended earlier than we expected and even though guests started arriving before the cocktail hour and before everything was totally ready, Brenda never skipped a beat. She got the bridal party set up in the private suite, arranged for us to have portraits taken by the water... she even came to the rescue with pins after my husband stepped on my dress and tore its bustle stitching off. She's a super-star!

The service was spectacular, the food was amazing! The dessert buffet.... I have no words... We had such an amazing night.

I've heard over time from numerous guests that it was one of the best weddings they'd been invited to and I have to give much of that credit for Brenda and her staff. You won't be disappointed with Venezia.

We could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding reception! Our family always goes to Venezia to celebrate special occasions because the food is always amazing. When we were looking for our wedding reception venue, we wanted to pick somewhere close (our church was in West Roxbury) that had great food and some type of view. Venezia fit all of those criteria - the food was amazing as always and the view of Boston from the ballroom was exactly what we were looking for. Brenda was so helpful throughout the planning process and the staff at Venezia was very attentive the entire night. Everything went smoothly and everyone had an amazing time. Venezia made our wedding reception everything we could have asked for.

Venezia Waterfront was a perfect venue for us! The staff and coordinator Brenda Seekins were so great! Brenda was very helpful throughout the wedding process and answered any questions we had..their attention to detail is something we really appreciate and loved. The venue itself is gorgeous!! And the food was absolutely delicious...every one of my guest really enjoyed and raved about the cocktail hour apps and dinner. Would definitely recommend this venue! :)

We could not have asked for a better place to have our wedding. From the initial planning stages, Brenda Seekins was available for any questions or concerns and was extremely helpful. The day of the staff was very professional and the whole reception worked like a well oiled machine. The food was excellent! Our guests are still talking about it, especially the dessert table! The location cannot be beat with an excellent waterfront view of the Boston skyline. We got such great pictures there. I had my wedding here on Valentine's Day 2015, with the blizzard and all the snow, these people accommodated myself and my guest so professionally. The allowed and accommodated busses to assist with my guest to attend my ceremony at another location. My guest could arrive at Venezia's early to park there cars there and utilize the bus for transportation. The food was amazing, all my relatives and in laws were amazed at the service and the food. It was the most elegant and stress free process.

After our venue burnt down 3 months before our wedding date- we found Venezia and fell in love all over again. Brenda eased our anxiety over the time crunch and made everything run smoothly in the planning stage.She was on top of everything and we had answers to any question or concern we had.

The days before our wedding Brenda made sure to be available for last minute questions and to see us when we dropped off our favors.

Our wedding went so smoothly- our room captains, the staff, and Brenda made sure of it! I cant think of any other place that would have been more perfect.

The moment we walked into Venezia we knew it was the venue we wanted for our daughter's wedding. The function hall and views of the Boston skyline are gorgeous. Brenda and her team did an amazing job. Brenda is a true professional. She was so patient and helped us with all of the major decisions, being very honest with what would work, what wouldn't and what was worth it. The food was absolutely delicious. My guest are still talking about the Viennese dessert table. It was amazing!!!

The staff at the Venezia is amazing. There is not a bad thing that I can say! We had an amazing wedding!! Brenda Seekins was nothing short of amazing from the day we booked all the way through the reception! Attendant Christine was amazing! Making sure we had drinks in out hands at all times and anything else we could possibly imagine! The food was amazing, the views were beautiful, and the dessert table was over the top to say the least! We truly had a wedding that was unforgettable - so much credit to give to this place and their staff!

We had our wedding reception at Venezia and everything was absolutely perfect! All the meetings beforehand with Brenda were so helpful, she is an expert and really helped us with making major decisions, from entree choices to timeline ideas. She was so honest with us about what works, what doesn't, and what's worth it. She was so patient with my many follow up emails too. When we arrived from the church on our wedding day she was waiting for us at the door and whisked us up to the bridal suite, where we were handed champagne and shown the food set aside just for us. Everything flowed exactly as we had planned, and the food was to die for. All of the guests were raving about it. We had the salad, a pasta course, a main entree and cake and coffee. And at 11PM we had a Chinese food buffet! That was a huge hit with our guests who had been dancing up a storm all night. The service was impeccable, the whole night was a success. The room there is so beautiful, as is the view. I also love the foyer where people could take a break from the music and dancing. Best night ever at Venezia!

The perfect place to get married! Everything went perfect and Brenda is amazing. From the day I met her to night of wedding, everything went perfect. It was beyond what I hoped for!

I had my wedding at Venezia last month and it was absolutely amazing! The room is beautiful and offers a beautiful view of the city. The food is by far the best food I have ever had at a wedding. All of my guests would agree. I went with the stations package so that there were plenty of options for everyone. We had 2 salad options, 2 pasta dishes, a stir-fry with chicken, pork or duck and a roast station with all the sides. Even better than the dinner was the dessert buffet! This offered a ton of freshly made dessert options – including cannoli’s shaped like swans. My guests are still talking about it! I also had the late night buffet with sliders. This was perfect for everyone who danced up an appetite (or needed to sober up a little) The staff at Venezia was great. They were so kind and attentive to my every need that night. Brenda, the wedding coordinator, is fabulous. She made sure every detail of our wedding was perfect! I would highly recommended Venezia!

If you are reading this and considering Venezia for your wedding venue then look no further. I viewed over 30 wedding venues for my wedding and Venezia was by far the best for value, location, food and staff. The ballroom and foyer are gorgeous. I did not have to worry about a thing leading up to my wedding because I knew the coordinator, Brenda, took care of everything. Even though there are a lot of weddings there, Brenda knows each and every wedding to the very last detail. As someone who works full time and cannot dedicate each minute of her day to her wedding, Brenda took care of so much and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. She is also amazing to work with. In your package is the Vienesse dessert table and a cake and you cannot beat that value. Go to any other venue and get a dessert station and they want to charge $16+ per person. The meal was incredible and everyone is still talking about the food, especially the appetizers. The staff that was on the night of my wedding were exceptional. They catered to my husband, me and my family. I didn't need to ask for a thing and they took care of everything at the end of the night. There is also free valet parking and coat check for all of your guests.

The moment we walked into the facility, we knew the Venezia would be our wedding venue! The information we received was so detailed that I immediately gave my 100 percent trust to Brenda and her team! Throughout the whole process, Brenda was very flexible and accommodated any suggestions and ideas I had. My night was fabulous and I can't wait to go back to celebrate our one year anniversary at the Venezia! I would highly reccomendation this venue for your Wedding venue!

My wedding came out better than I imagined!! Everything went perfect!!! Brenda was amazing and extremely helpful!! Everyone told me if was the best wedding that they have even been to!!

Brenda recommended the piano and up lighting. Everyone commented on how beautiful the hall looked and how the piano was perfect for our type of wedding. We were very pleased.

I never give reviews on line but since I feel so strongly about how unbelievable Brenda and her team at Venezia did with our wedding I have to. Besides the fact that the food, hall, view, and staff are all amazing the team at Venezia is great to work with. Easy to talk to, flexible on hours to meet, you name it they did it.

I can not say enough good things. Everyone that attended our wedding can not stop talking about how amazing it was and how they want to go back for Venezia for dinner or a party of their own.

Brenda Seekins and her team did an amazing job on our wedding day and it was an absolute pleasure having Brenda as our wedding coordinator. She was always available to answer any and all questions and made the entire process as stress-free as possible. Our wedding was on June 15th, 2013 and since the weather was absolutely beautiful we were able to take some amazing pictures on the water right outside our ballroom and down by the dock, with the beautiful Boston landscape as a backdrop. The bridal suite we were provided with was also very beautiful, and immaculate! The entire staff at Venezia was amazing to work with and treated us like royalty. I could go on and on about the amazing experience we had there for our wedding, and would definitely recommend Venezia to any couples looking to a having a memorable wedding day.

I just wanted to share my experience with planning and having my wedding this past April at Venezia Waterfront Ballroom and Restaurant in the Port Norfolk neighborhood of Boston. Let me start by giving praise to Brenda who masterfully helped us through the entire wedding process, from originally visiting the property to the night of the big day. I cannot say enough about Brenda's attention to detail, organization, and professionalism, all proven when it counts the most, the night of the wedding, everything went off without a hitch and I sincerely believe it is because of Brenda's hard work and preperation. As far as the Ballroom, it was breathtaking, and the views of the Boston skyline from inside the room and on the large beautifully furnished deck were amazing. Food - out of this world, I have been to alot of weddings over the years, including some at extremely high end venues and It is my opinion that these venues pale in comparison to Venzia. Lastly Brenda's staff the night of the event were extremely professional, helpful, and attentive.....they were there when you needed them with any request. I would highly recomend Venezia if you are looking to get married in the Boston area, you really cannot beat the views, food, service, and value.

When I first entered the Venezia I just knew that this was the place that I was going to have my wedding reception. The place is truly stunning. It is right by the water and the facilty inside is breath taking. Our contact at the Venezia was wonderful. She was extremely helpful, professional and informative. She was flexible and truly helped us keep on our budget. If you are looking for a beautiful location in Boston to hold your wedding I wouldn't look any further than The Venezia.

I am not one to write reviews, etc, but I really felt that I owed to Brenda and the staff at Venezia to acknowledge how pleased we were with our wedding in October. From start to finish, Venezia far exceeded our expectations. After looking at many venues, we decided on Venezia. The lobby, outdoor deck and room itself were so elegant and comfortable it would be hard to find another venue that will equal it. I looked at Venezia and met with Brenda, and felt it was the best choice for me. I wanted somewhere close to downtown, but with parking for our local guests, and access to reasonable hotels for all of our “out of town” guests. Brenda was inquisitive and pleasant to deal with-
She understood that we had a budget and worked with it. Being that we live in New York, email was the way to get info and keep my stress level down. She always answered every question in a timely manner. She was very understanding and flexible, as she was working with my mother and me due to my out of state location.

From the minute we arrived Brenda along with the entire staff were there to greet us. Not one moment did I feel stressed as they handled EVERYTHING! From the private bridal suite with private bathroom to the party itself, everything was top notch. People are STILL talking about how amazing our wedding was. The venue, service and the food were all wonderful. I cannot say enough about Brenda. She was so pleasant and relaxed. I would highly recommend Venezia to anyone planning a wedding. The food, service and venue all exceeded our expectations. As I said, we are still receiving compliments on the wedding, food etc. The Viennese table was a HUGE hit, as well, and I would highly recommending splurging on that feature as it added something special to the whole evening. All and all, a wonderful time had by all!

The staff is wonderful and professional. The view is breath taking and of course all of the food is exquisite with immense portions.

Brenda and the entire staff of Venezia are amazing!! They work to please you! They were not only able to make my day as the bride incredible, but my family and guest had a great experience. Throughout the entire night there are staff at your service for anything that you would need or want. Not only were the staff amazing the food is UNBELIEVABLE..
I have a very Italian family and for them all to lick their plates is a huge compliement! Even as the bride i stoped to make sure i ate because it was too good!

We LOVE Venezia!! The food was spectacular, they treated us like royalty and the whole evening was beautiful and perfect. Brenda Seekins is the BEST. She was amazing to work with and kept us calm throughout the whole planning process. She knows her stuff and gave us the best advice while we were trying to make crucial choices. We can't say enough about how wonderful it was. It was our dream wedding and we are so happy. We're still getting compliments from guests about what a perfect wedding it was. Thank you Venezia!

My wedding was absolutely amazing. Everything was great. Brenda is amazing to work with, you feel like you are planning your event with a good friend. Venezia's dessert table is unbelievable. I had so many compliments on everything. Great place for a wedding!

Venezia was an excellent venue for my wedding reception. Brenda is the wedding coordinator and she was fabulous to work with, she was alway quick to respond to my questions/emails. In addition, she was flexible in meeting with us and made the whole process smooth from start to finish. The night of the reception, everything was perfect. The food was unbelievable and the dessert bar was incredible. My guests are still talking about the food!!! The attendants who worked the function were very helpful and always made sure I (bride) had everything I needed throughout the whole night. In addition, the deck is a great feature, especially for spring/summer/fall weddings. Many of the guests stepped outside for a few minutes and took advantage of the view of Boston. Overall, it was a great place for a wedding and I am still getting phone calls from guests raving about the venue.

I fell in love with this venue the second I walked in. The foyer is gorgeous with white marble and a white baby grand piano. I ended up picking Venezia not only because of the beautiful waterfront view, the delicious food but also because of the even coordinator, Brenda Seekins. She is amazing. She has years of experience and answered every question before I got to ask. She has extremely responsive and helpful with every annoying email I sent her. She helped ease a lot of stress and really made my reception everything I wanted it to be and more. Brenda and the staff were perfect. She has no time for non sense and really take pride in every single wedding that she hosts. Not the mention the food was absolutely delicious and the Venetian Dessert Table was an incredible site. Considering the quality of food/wine and the location on the water, I think the pricing was reasonable. If you have never been to the restaurant check it out and if you get a chance to walk through the foyer and into the ballroom take the opportunity-it was the perfect location for our special day. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!! Venezia should definitely go on your list of potential venue!!!

When I first walked into the banquet facility, I knew I wanted to have our wedding here. Unfortunately the date we had planned on wasn't available so we kept looking at other venues. After almost signing a contract with another venue, we decided it didn't feel right so we went back to Brenda at Venezia to see what dates were available. We moved up our wedding date just so I can get the venue that I fell in love with. Brenda was amazing, very understanding and a pro at what she does. On our wedding day, the banquet hall looked amazing and everything was sent up just as we had expected. Our limo was running late and didnt pick us up from the hotel to go to the venue so we had the best man drive us to the venue and Brenda was standing outside waiting for us to arrive. She directed us up a private staircase to the bridal suite, where we were immediately taken care of by the wait staff. Everything looked amazing and tasted even better. We had gone all out for our wedding and chosen the platinum package with upgrades. It was worth every penny. All of our family members and guests loved the reception and are still talking about it weeks after.

Im very pleased with the service porvided in Vennezia Restaurant, starting with an amazin cordinator (Brenda Seekins) who organize our wedding in only 1 week. You will think with such of short notice she wouldnt have time to do something nice and the truth is our was the most beatiful wedding I ever have seen and for a very good price. The food is fantastic and what to say about the view. Thank you so much Vennezia and thank you Brenda.

Our wedding was AMAZING and most of that was thanks to the staff at Venezia. Brenda is truly great, and always made time for us to stop by especially with our crazy schedule...there was just one very small thing, while taking some of our formal pictures during cocktail hour my husband was looking for a drink and the waiter was more focused on getting drinks for the rest of the bridal party and did not even come over to us, when we should have been asked first, i mean it was OUR day...But i would 100% recommend Venezia to any bride that would ask me, or for any other event. Thank you, you truly made my wedding great.

A beautiful location, you can see right over the harbor into boston, All Italian marble inside. White glove service. Great food. Baeutiful pictures can be taken there.

We can't say enough about how amazing our wedding at Venezia was. Brenda walked us through the process answering all of our crazy questions and requests. I had a bit of a hard time with some of the pricing (but it is a wedding!) and some add-ons were a bit expensive for what the were, but everything we chose was made it 110% worth it on the day of our wedding. We went with the silver package, added on a quite a bit of extra food and did the pay per drink open bar as many of our guests we didn't expect would drink much. Food was amazing and the service was impeccable, all the staff wore white gloves and we had two dedicated waiters there ready for our every need, from food to drinks, we never had to worry. Brenda went above and beyond from walking the wedding parties out of the cars, setting my rowdy family straight, orchestrating the ceremony, and even bustling my wife's dress! We did our ceremony in the wedding hall, dividing walls were put up and you'd never have known it was where the reception would be and the beautiful view of Boston in the background. Our guests went into the beautiful hall for the cocktail hour while we went to the bridal suite upstairs where was matching buffet and horderves. Everything was just so seamless. After the wedding we all took ubers to go out to some bars in Dorchester. We went to Venezia the next day and picked up decorations and everything was rolled out to us in a cart. We were just so happy, I could go on and on, you can't go wrong getting married here!

We just had our June 24th wedding at the Venezia and it was everything we could have wished for and more! The staff take care of the bride, groom, and wedding party as if you are the only ones in the room. We couldn't have asked for a better view. The food was Incredible as always (my husband and I love having dinner at the restaurant portion of the property, so we knew it would be amazing)! They were also very accommodating with allergies. Brenda was phenomenal! On the day of the wedding she was so patient with the chaos of family photos and was able to figure out how to bustle my dress when no one else could! The entire atmosphere was absolutely perfect. We had our ceremony there as well in the ballroom, and it was absolutely perfect for us. Intimate with a stunning view out onto the water. Thank you so much Venezia!!

I absolutely loved working with the Venezia. Brenda Seekins, the event manager, is a very easy going, great person to work with, she was very attentive to what we were looking for and helped us to really make sure we stayed in our budget. The facility itself is gorgeous and was beautifully decorated for our guests. The food was amazing, I got so many compliments from our guests about the food. Also, the room captain (Dave) was excellent the night of our reception. I highly recommend working with the Venezia - you get a beautiful view of Boston, a beautiful venue, and amazing service within a reasonable budget.

Food was fabulous, location was perfect! Place looked beautiful! Everything went very smoothly. Couldn't have planned better. Wish I could repeat the day!!

Rehearsal was rushed. Not sure if photographer was made aware of the Gazebo. Would like to have had the opportunity to take pictures at this location. Overall, I was completely satisfied with Venezia and their staff!

Overall, I had a great experience with this venue. The food was great and the planning process was very easy. The ballroom is very beatiful - nicely furnished and up to date. I have two complaints about the wedding day. First, the outdoor area is lacking. If you're looking to take photos onsite, this is not the place for you - there is very limited space. My advice to other couples looking to booth this venue is to check with the event manager (Brenda) to make sure she will be onsite for the duration of your wedding. I was very disappointed that on the day of my wedding Brenda left almost immediately after it started. It wasn't until about and hour in, after I wasted time looking for her, that someone from the banquet staff told me she had left for the evening. She was the only "familiar face" I knew from the facility and I really wish she had told me in advance she wouldn't be there.

It was hard to give a definitive yes or no. It definitely depends on preference. If you want as little customization as possible then this is the place for you. But I would have to say no if you want to add a lot of your own feel to your wedding. They are restrictive in their no outside furniture or fabrics policy and to rent in house is way too expensive. They also do not want to work directly with any of your vendors so you find yourself having to be the middle man. Also the initial prices I was told it would cost to rent out fabrics went up when I had additional meetings with them. They have a bridal suite but you can only access it 30 minutes prior to the ceremony which for me was kind of like "what's the point?" However, it is a really nice facility, excellent staff, good food, free parking, beautiful view and all right in the city. Simple and elegant. Overall I am happy with my experience but I do wish I had shopped around a bit more.
