I cannot say enough wonderul things about Velvet Bay from our first corresondance to wedding night. They are exceptional in every way. Professional, so easy to work with and they are incredible on wedding day. Their talent is amazing and the energy they bring is a 20 on a scale of 1-10. Our guests never left the dance floor all night, young and old. No one used the furniture we rented! We are looking for a reason to hire them again it was so much fun! I rarely write reviews but felt strongly about praising Velvet Bay. The ABSOLUTE BEST -

The best band out there! We have been to 28 weddings over the past two years and chose to hire Velvet Bay because they were a standout band from one of those weddings. They exceeded our expectations at our own wedding! Our wishlist do and don't plays were honored by the band (which we know can be rare). They even kindly let us get on stage and sing with them not once, but twice to our favorite songs! Every single person raved to us about how good Velvet Bay was, to which we responded - we know!! We truly could not recommend them more.
Ps. They were so good that one of our guests is flying Velvet Bay out to Nantucket for a weekend to play her wedding! They're that good!! -

Velvet Bay was an absolute highlight of our dream wedding! They brought incredible energy, kicked off the party, and kept the dance floor packed all night long. Not a single moment passed without guests dancing and enjoying themselves. Every song they played resonated with our crowd, and our guests still can’t stop raving about them. Velvet Bay is incredibly talented, and we’re so grateful we chose them to be a part of our special day -

We one million percent recommend Velvet Bay Groove Company!! We never had to worry if people were going to be having a good time because it was impossible not to with them on the mic! Even when they weren’t actively singing they had an incredible playlist that kept the party going! We had guests who didn’t even want to leave the dance floor to use the restroom for fear of missing “another great song!” If you are on the fence about a dj or a band, definitely go with THIS band! It was the absolute best decision that we made for our wedding! Our reception was a party to remember thanks to Velvet Bay! -

Velvet Bay exceeded our expectations. My daughter was confident that they would be great, she did not tell me they would be outstanding. They were. Three weeks later every guest I have since encounter brings up Velvet Bay and what a great sound and most tell me the best wedding ever. Wide repertoire of music for all ages and dance styles. Three great vocalist-- and the horns!!!! Professional, Classy and on Point. John Piccione/ FOB -

Wedding Reception
Velvet Bay was, first and foremost, an amazing act from start to finish. Their considerable level of talent across the board allowed them to play a wide range of music without diminishing an ounce in quality. This was especially apparent when seamlessly transitioning between genres - something that can be jarring if not done well. Multiple pulled me aside during and after the wedding reception to complement the band’s performance. Beyond sheer musical ability, the band and their manager were extremely easy to communicate with, accommodating of requests, and, overall, easy to work with. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Do yourself a favor and book them if you have the opportunity! -

WOW!!!! Our wedding guests are still talking about how INCREDIBLE our band was and how it was the best wedding they have even been to! Dan, Bryan, and the team are wonderful with communication and sound like talented professionals. They played a fun variety of tunes, including some special requests of ours that weren't on their set list. I wish I got a raw recording of our first dance because they truly knocked it out of the park. All we can say is THANK YOU and you will not regret having this energetic, fun, professional, and groovy band perform at your event!! -

Velvet Bay was beyond phenomenal. From the email communication to their performance, everything was top of the line high quality. People are still talking about how great the band was and how they couldn’t leave the dance floor. Velvet Bay helped create my perfect wedding night. Everything was beautiful and the music made the party! I can’t recommend them enough, Velvet Bay was outstanding! Bryson made planning the event so streamlined and checked in on the planning process. They even sent a Happy Wedding Week email that was so thoughtful. They really made my night and i’m still obsessing over how amazing they are!
