We are so thrilled we hired Vanessa! We choose the Sapphire Collection package to cover our engagement and wedding. Her photos are beautiful and we could tell from the moment we met her in her studio that she really cares about what she does.
Professionally and personally, we felt like she is so invested in creating beautiful photos, and moments. We just got our engagement album from her and it was everything we could have asked for and more. It's a beautiful hardcover book, the arrangement is stunning. Even our USB with our digital photos was in a beautiful little wooden case. Her attention to detail is amazing. Every time I look through it, it's like she's telling our story through our photos. I cannot think of higher praise, but she really is magic at what she does.
On top of what a wonderful experience we had her pricing is extremely reasonable, and she includes so much. I had never thought we would be able to afford a wedding photographer and stumbling upon Vanessa was a true gift. Plus she was fun to work with, the turnaround was lightening and everything has been so perfect.

We had our wedding in November 2025, and we couldn't have been happier with Vanessa as our photographer. She was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process - always quick to answer questions, easy to reach, and professional.
The photos turned out beautifully and captured our day perfectly. She caught so many special moments that we'll treasure forever. We also received our gallery much faster than expected, which was a nice surprise. There were so many amazing photos it was difficult to choose our favorites!
We highly recommend Vanessa to anyone looking for a talented, reliable, and personable wedding photographer. -

Words cannot express how grateful we are to have worked with Vanessa for our November 2024 wedding! From the initial consultation, Vanessa engaged in our vision and added creative ideas to enhance the look and feel of our wedding. Her commitment to professionalism and kind, calming demeanor made our day seamless.
Following our wedding day, Vanessa kept in constant communication, even creating a short video to send of our ceremony. Working with Vanessa to choose our photos and create our album was a joy. Her timely response and careful delivery was much appreciated, down to the little extras when we received our album. Vanessa was the dream photographer, capturing all our special moments at our wedding in May 2022! She was super professional but also easy going. She worked to understand my vision while also bringing in some neat ideas and shot locations of her own. Not every photographer will lie on the ground to get a perfect ‘cheers’ shot but Vanessa was just that committed. We absolutely loved working with her. Cara Sent on 09/29/2020Couldn't Have Made A Better Choice!
Let me start off by saying that all we keep saying is we are so glad we chose Vanessa for our pictures! She is so pleasant and patient and flexible! I first contacted her and the prices she gave were different than what was listed (they since have been fixed!!!) which was definitely a bummer that made us question if we would use her but she worked with us to customize a package and gave us a sweet deal because of the misinformation listed so we said yes. Man I'm still so glad we did and after experiencing her firsthand I highly advise choosing her! She hiked through Purgatory Chasm with us for 3.5 hours (carrying all her equipment and getting to places I didn't even know existed for awesome angles) for our engagement shoot! She took 514 pictures!!! It was so hard to narrow them down. Price wise she beats most and she is WELL worth it. She will be our wedding photographer next year (so excited!!!) and I intend to contact her when I want a maternity shoot down the road as well. Don't hesitate on choosing Vanessa. You will not be disappointed (like my sister was about her wedding photographer - who was NOT Vanessa). Her work is phenomenal, reasonably priced, she is wonderful to work with, and OMG so quick with the turn around. I had my pictures the NEXT DAY!
**UPDATE**
Our wedding has happened and omGOODNESS the pictures are AMAZING. We absolutely LOVE them. The only thing I'd say is make sure you're willing to work for them. I did feel as though most of my wedding day was spent photo taking. Both photographers were wonderful though.Vanessa Trettel Photography's reply:

Vanessa was such a gem to work with on our special day! Her packages are super affordable and provided us with so many options. The quality of photos are amazing and editing took about one month total (pretty quick turn around with all the selections and final edits!). I could not have asked for a better photographer to have captured our day. Responsiveness varies especially depending on how busy it is but Vanessa always did her best to respond timely. Also! Vanessa booked our wedding on her birthday. If that doesn’t tell you how dedicated she is, I don’t know what will. You can tell how much Vanessa loves her job and I’m so grateful to have had her for our special day. -
