Stellar bridal stylist and fantastic dress selection. Amazing experience!

I could not be happier with my experience at Van Cleve. My bridal stylist, Shelly, was absolutely amazing. She picked out a dress for me that made me feel like a gorgeous bride and fit my body like a glove. She also helped select the tux for my now husband, dress for my mother, and tux for my father! Her eye for style and fit is unmatched. Van Cleve had an amazing selection of wedding gowns, mother of the bride gowns, and tuxes for the men. I also was very pleased with the tailoring. Also, knowing it was a one of a kind dress that was just for me felt beyond special. I would absolutely recommend Van Cleve to anyone getting married!

Erin was the absolute best! She was genuinely excited about my vision and took extra time and care to make sure that it was achieved! I loved working with her and if you go to Van Cleve, please request Erin! I promise you she will not disappoint you. She studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. I felt like I was working with a celebrity stylist. 100% would recommend!

Saved My Dress Shopping Experience!

Shelly at Van Cleve saved my dress shopping experience! She is so knowledgeable and read me and my emotions about the dress like a book. I recommend her and the salon to anyone who is nervous about their dress. After visiting two other stores with bad experiences, I adored the first dress Shelly had me try on because she listened to me so carefully. 10/10 recommend!

Amazing!

Van Cleve was incredible!! I have nothing but good things to say! Shelly was my stylist and she was so patient and compassionate! She made me felt like the day was about me, because it was!! EVERYONE said yes to my dress!

My family and I had an amazing experience at Van Cleve picking out my bridal dress for my November 2025 wedding! Megan was such a pleasure to work with -- from open communication pre-visit to her patience and pleasant attitude on the floor, to the very sweet follow up texts she sent. Megan was incredible at understanding what I was enjoying about the dresses she was pulling, and ultimately found the dress I said yes to! She was also incredibly accommodating and great at roping my family into the process as well, so choosing the dress truly felt like a "team" effort. Everyone on the staff was attentive, kind, and supportive. I could not recommend them enough!

Beautiful experience

I went to Van Cleve yesterday at the recommendation of a co-worker and I cannot be more thankful for her recommending me this place! From the moment I walked in I felt very welcomed and the staff were so wonderful. Caroline was my stylist and she was an absolute joy- she did so well picking dresses that she thought I would like and it felt like she was very intentional in the ones she chose. The third dress I tried on was THE dress and she was so helpful in learning how to style it as well She was very attentive to my wants and wishes and it was overall a really great experience. The dress was also relatively affordable and we did not have an issue finding dresses within a 1800-2500 budget! Every dress I tried on was absolutely beautiful and the materials just felt very high end and sustainable.
If you are a bride trying to find your dream dress, you should absolutely visit Van Cleve!

5/24/25 wedding

I knew dress shopping was going to be my biggest indecisive moment in all of wedding planning. I visited about 4-5 other shops before coming to Van Cleve. They were so great to work with - accommodating with appointments, questions, etc. the dress selections were great as well! I came in knowing a couple designers I wanted to try on. Erin was my consultant and she was amazing! So personable, gave great feedback and was such a big help for an indecisive and anxious gal like myself! I also got my alterations done here and Valentina was such a doll! She did such great work, super accommodating and was very concerned to make sure I was comfortable in the dress. All in all, really happy to have gotten my dress from here!!

Would Recommend!

I had a wonderful experience at Van Cleve and would definitely recommend them to other brides! Shelly, my stylist, was so helpful throughout the entire process. She was always professional and very responsive whenever I had questions. She is very knowledgeable and I really valued her opinion when I was choosing a dress.

It was nice to be able to get alterations done there too and Valentina was great. When I wanted something adjusted, she altered it in real time to make my dress just how I wanted it. I can’t say enough good things about the team there!

VanCleve Experience

I had such a great experience at VanCleve! My consultant, Caroline, was so kind and helpful. She really listened to me and was so helpful with guiding me through trying on different dresses. My dress came in when they said it would and the alterations were impeccable! Vera did all of my alterations. She even made a costume, detachable piece for my dress that was perfect! Overall it was a great experience and very stress-free.

5 stars – A Dream Dress Experience!

I had the most amazing experience at Van Cleve Bridal! I came in with a general idea of what I wanted but no specific dress in mind. Caroline was incredibly patient and attentive throughout the entire appointment. She really took the time to listen to what I liked and disliked about each dress I tried on, and she truly got my vision.

I was looking for something classic and clean, but with a little extra personality—and she nailed it. She brought out the dress of my dreams, and I knew it was the one.

What made the whole experience even better was that Van Cleve is a one-stop shop. I was able to handle both the dress and alterations all in one place, which made everything so convenient and stress-free.

If you're looking for a personal, seamless, and thoughtful bridal experience, I can't recommend Van Cleve enough!

Would absolutely recommend!

Had such an amazing experience finding my wedding dress here with the help of Caroline! All of the staff were incredibly kind throughout my visit and with any questions I had leading up to picking up my dress. They even outreached before my visit to get a sense of what I liked and didn't to ensure our appointment would be productive. No issues with ordering my dress and it came with plenty of time to get alterations and then some! Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking.

Exceptional Van Cleve

My experience with Van Cleve was nothing short of exceptional. Carline was extremely welcoming and communicative prior to my actual appointment even taking place. My appointment was originally scheduled for Friday, May 9th. I had 2 appointments at other bridal shops on Thursday, May 8th in the area and myself and my 3 bridal shopping guests were on a roll and it was advised to us by one of the Consultants at the second shop to stop in at Van Cleve and see if Caroline could take us as a walk in instead of waiting until the next day for my actual appointment when it would have just been myself with one of my guests. So we walked into Van Cleve and sure enough, Caroline welcomed us and graciously accommodated us. I tried on 5 dresses and found the perfect Sareh Nouri gown and said “Yes!” to the dress at Van Cleve that same day. Caroline and I really connected. She’s warm, welcoming, down to earth and so friendly. Most importantly, Caroline knew what looked good on me and flattering to my height and build and saw my vision. I can’t say enough good things about my experience and would recommend to any bride to visit Van Cleve. You will not be disappointed and their selection of beautiful wedding gowns is endless

Said YES to my First dress I tried on!

Shelly was PHENOMENAL! She asked me for my inspo pics a few days before my appointment and I wasn’t exactly sure what kind of dress I wanted. Then after talking to Shelly at my appointment she pulled 8 dresses for me to try on after walking around one of the showrooms (all dresses were within my budget) and the first one she put on me my sisters said I lit up! That was my dress. She got it on the first try! She was amazing to work with and put me at ease. It was my first place that I went shopping at and got my dress on the first try! Thank you so much!!

Most amazing place!

This was the first place that I had been to in order to find my dress for my wedding and it was an incredible experience. I worked with Shelly and she asked a lot of great questions to help me understand what type of dress that I really liked, and she really listened to my feedback and ultimately helped me find THE dress! Shelly was so personable and calm, and it made the experience of wedding dress hunting super fun! Having the one-on-one experience with a stylist was much needed and it made it all the more special. I went into there not expecting to find anything at all since I am super picky, but Van Cleve has a wide variety of options. I definitely recommend checking out this place!

Wonderful Service

My experience at Van Cleve has been wonderful so far. I had the opportunity to work with Caroline, who is phenomenal! I’ve recently lost 80+lbs and went in thinking I wanted an a-line/ballgown and naturally we ended up with the complete opposite. Caroline pulled 🌟the one🌟 and it was a complete showstopper, and more importantly, in budget. With my weight loss I wasn’t sure about the sizing and Caroline also guided me through that process with providing helpful materials for me to make my decision. I would definitely recommend going to Van Cleve for all your wedding and evening wear needs

Fantastic Experience

They have a LARGE selection of high quality dresses and the shop is so pretty. I worked with Caroline who listened to what I needed, did not pressure me to buy a dress, and really helped me narrow down to what I was looking for. I am very indecisive and wanted to go to a bunch of shops to try on as many dresses as possible, but ended up coming back here for the "one." Definitely recommend!

Found my dream dress!

I found my dream dress at Van Cleve all thanks to Caroline! It was my 3rd store and I was considering canceling because I thought I found the one at my 2nd stop. Caroline pushed me to consider a style I never would have without her and it ended up being exactly what I needed!! 10/10 recommend Van Cleve but more specifically Caroline!

Said Yes to the Dress!

Just walking into the lobby of Van Cleve is magical and breath taking with their floral displays, and then you're greeted by extremely friendly consultants. Shelly was THE BEST! She texted me prior to my appointment to look through pictures of dress ideas that I had, and then through additional conversations and explorations at my appointment she completely saw my vision and found my dress! She pulled out some of my pinterest saved dresses, and she had an amazing system for the order of dresses she had me try on while working through the different stylistic features that I loved. Our analytical brains worked really well together. She totally understood me and helped my vision come true. She even searched for different sparkly fabrics to enhance my dress, which when we found the right one, the tears started, and I said yes to the dress! I can't wait to go back to explore the accessories more, and to look at the other bridal party dresses! Van Cleve and Shelly are incredible! My mom already has an appointment to work with Shelly again for her mother of the bride dress. Five star experience! Highly recommend! They have every dress imaginable, and they work with many price points!

Sweet Caroline!

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Caroline at Van Cleve! She reached out to me the day before wanting to know what all I wanted in a dress. When I arrived the next morning she picked out multiple dresses. The very first dress was something I never imagined I would want but when I put it on and walked out everyone was in awe including myself. I tried on a few more dresses but that first dress had my heart. I then went to 2 more shops and nothing….. so I went back to Van Cleve retried the dress one more time and decided that I was going to say YES TO THE DRESS!! Amazing consultant! Amazing dress!

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience at Van Cleve! Shelly did a wonderful job guiding me to the most perfect dress. She not only listened intently, but also used her years of experience in the industry to ensure I looked my best! We had a private room that created a wonderful atmosphere to find THE dress!! I did try a few other salons, but none matched the professionalism and sophistication of Van Cleve.

I had an appointment last night with Shelly and I cannot recommend her enough. This was my 5th store, I was getting closer to figuring out what I wanted but knew something was missing. She took the photos and information and budget I gave her and knew what dress she wanted me to try on- spoiler alert it was perfect. It checked all of my boxes and I am so thrilled to have finally said yes to the dress! Shelly was amazing, and I appreciated her opinions. I said YES!

I started my wedding dress search with recommendations from friends and family, and Van Cleve Bridal was one of them! They were able to schedule an appointment for me within the same week, which was a pleasant and appreciated surprise given the high demand and booked calendars of anything wedding these days. They were extremely accommodating, personable, and invested from the start, taking the time to speak with me prior to the appointment to get a better idea of what I was looking for, and my personal stylist, Caroline, was beyond amazing – she helped me say YES to the dress! I really did not expect to walk out with a dress, especially on the first go, but sure enough Caroline was able to take my dream and make it into a reality. Caroline took the time to listen and understand everything I was saying that I did or didn't want. As a matter of fact the dress I ended up with was the very first dress she pulled for me! I tend to be very indecisive but Caroline was patient with me and it felt like I was with one of my girlfriends while shopping!

Best Wedding Dress Team

I worked with Nancy, and she was incredible. First, they got me in for an appointment quickly, which was amazing since I'm planning my wedding in only 10 months. When you arrive, you'll be taken aback at how beautiful and spacious the store is. When we started talking through, my Mom turned to me and said "well if you can't find a dress here, you won't find one anywhere!"

I had communicated with Nancy ahead of time and sent her photos of ideas of what I was looking for. She pulled a few options for me ahead of my arrival, and then she let us walk through and pick more off the rack.

The actual trying-on process was so fun. Nancy asked helpful questions that allowed me to gauge what I was really loving. At the end of the day, i ended up with a beautiful dress that Nancy had pulled for me ahead of time. It was the first dress I put on, and I fell in love.

I could not recommend Van Cleve enough. The entire experience was so fun!

Wedding dress

We met with Shelly to look at wedding dresses, and we couldn’t have been in better hands! Shelly asked for a few inspiration photos in advance and pulled dresses off the floor in my budget for me to try. After trying some of these on, she pulled a few more based on my reaction to the dresses I tried on. I ended up settling on a dress which was very different from what I imagined but which I loved so much! Afterwards, Shelly made time to have me come in to try on the dress whenever I wanted (I got cold feet about my dress and had to put it on again a week after I picked it and loved it again lol). I purchased all of my accessories including a veil, headband, and earrings from van cleves. I also had my dress altered with their seamstress at the shop. The dress fit perfectly! All in all, the whole process went smoothly from start to finish and I was so happy with my dress! Thank you Shelly and Van Cleve for making the experience so wonderful

The Best Bridal Shop Experience I Could Have Ever Asked For

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience at Van Cleve! From first booking, I was contacted by a consultant to say how excited they were to have me in the shop, what my vision was, etc. Fast forward to the day before my consultation, I was contacted by Caroline, who I would be working with the next day. She was just simply AMAZING to work with!! She was thorough in describing the process of trying on dresses, comforted the nerves I had about trying on dresses, and asked in detail about what I was looking for. Caroline was amazing!

From start to finish, Caroline was SO professional yet had a very personal personality that made me feel so comfortable when trying on dresses. SUCH a great experience!

When I went to Van Cleve, it was my last appointment after a full day of dress shopping with my mom and sisters. I had a dress that I tried on earlier in the day in the back of my mind, so really I went to Van Cleve thinking I had already found the dress. Myself and my guests had our own private space to try on dresses which was unexpected but amazing (who wants to parade out in front of other people?). My stylist, Shelly, was the BEST. Immediately, she was the most knowledgeable stylist of my day and she and I hit it off. She pulled the dress I already tried on at another shop and had me compare it to ones she pulled for me. Shelly knocked it out of the park - the first dress she pulled for me was it! She still had me try on things that were in my style and ballpark, but we all knew the first dress was perfect.

I had a specific veil vision in mind that I had been trying to describe all day and no one else understood it, but again, Shelly read my mind and got me exactly what I was looking for. I cannot imagine a better experience with more knowledgeable people.

I'd also like to say that as a plus sized gal, this shop was the best with dresses that actually fit my body (they zipped, woo!) and general comfort about my body. I will recommend this to literally every bride looking for a dress in the Philly area. Incredible experience. Thank you Shelly and Van Cleve!!!

Love Van Cleve!

I had the best experience at Van Cleve! I began my dress hunt about 8 months before my wedding, and Van Cleve was Stop 1 on what I thought would be a lengthy tour of shops in the area. I was happily surprised to discover The Dress that day! I was in extremely capable and professional hands the entire time - Shelly is an absolute pro through and through, she has an eye for dresses & details and a wealth of knowledge about the industry, and Vera, the in-house tailor, is a magician! The shop itself is pretty and clean, and boasts a collection of dresses that are varied in style, price range, and size (we love a size-inclusive bridal salon!). They also carry menswear and other, non-bridal dresses - my mom ended up finding the perfect mother of the bride gown there as well! We were so happy with Van Cleve - highly recommend!

Caroline was wonderful!!

First let me start with how stunning this store is. I had previously shopped for a wedding dress and fell in love with one particular dress at another store. Their sales approach made me feel like I was rushed and I didn’t feel confident saying yes to the dress at the time. I decided to contact Van Cleve since they carry the same dress and was connected with Caroline. I expressed this to her and explained I wanted to try on some more dresses to be confident in my decision. Caroline was absolutely AMAZING. She made me feel so comfortable, she pulled gorgeous dresses for me, she gave honest and helpful input on each dress and how it looked on my body. I ended up choosing the dress I went there with the intent to try on again. She took her time, showed an interest in my relationship, wedding, and wanted me to feel beautiful and confident with my choice on my big day. She made me feel confident in their ability to alter my dress perfectly and was so knowledgeable about the entire process. At one point she walked in with the most gorgeous Veil for my dress that I fell in love instantly. She was a gift from god because I needed her kindness and warmth to say yes to my dress. I couldn’t be happier with my experience and would recommend this store and Caroline to everyone I know! 10/10 experience.

Best experience ever

My consultant Shelly had texted me the day before and asked which styles I liked and if I had gone shopping and which one was my favorite. I was honest and sent a picture of the one I tried on at ivory concept. When we got into van Cleve, I was stunned by the amount of dresses they had. When Shelly pulled is into our private room she immediately made me feel at ease and asked me what I was looking for and she had some concerns with the dress I tried on yesterday. She told me she had no filter and wanted me to be happy. Also she had stalked my Instagram and within two minutes of talking to me she already could tell my personality. when we went to look at the dresses she had specific ones she pulled for me. And when I liked one, I asked her opinion. She was honest and said your boobs would be out in that dress or no I don’t think it’s a good fit for you because of blah blah blah. We started out with 8 dresses and she put me in one she pulled to start. She wanted me to compare it to the one I had tried on yesterday. When I tried on this dress it was perfect. I said well I love this one way more than yesterday. My mom cried and I cried. I tried on the others and she thought one would give it a run for it’s money but it didn’t. I eventually said yes to the dress and it was the most amazing experience ever! It felt like I was talking to a friend and someone who understood me and my personality!!! I highly recommend going there!!

The BEST Wedding dress shopping experience.

I got engaged on 12/4/21 and booked my wedding for 12/2/23.
I knew immediately I wanted to go Dress Shopping in December 2022 with my mom and god mother and make a weekend out of it. I scheduled 4 appointments spread out between 12/2 & 12/3. Van Cleve was NOT one of those appointments. I got the recommendation to try out their shop in august and completely rearranged my weekend and made Van Cleve my first stop.

I was immediately wow-ed when I walked in. The shop itself is beautiful and everyone at the front of the store had a smile on their face. I met with Jennifer who sat me down to get my vision and then she took us over to the gowns. I had a pretty set idea in my head and Jennifer grabbed some gowns that matched those expectations. She then grabbed some that I thought I would hate but I was in for the ride and excited.
Something magical happened when I put on the second dress of the day. It was one of the ones I swore I would hate but when I put it on I was in love. I tried on a few more that day but nothing left me breathless.
Jennifer suggested trying on my favorite once more and going out to the main room and add a veil and hair accessories. Once those were on I burst into tears when I saw my reflection. If that isn’t a sign I’m not sure what is.
Hardest part of that day was forcing myself to go to my remaining 3 appointments. I just wanted to be sure there would be no second thoughts.
Jennifer gave me her contact information and I walked out the door.
In between other appointments I was texting her with all my questions and she never once made me feel I was a bother. I called the next day to make it official and put my deposit down. I am officially a Van Cleve Bride and I HIGHLY recommend cancelling all other appointments and finding your dress there.
Jennifer even reached out a few days later (after I paid, mind you) to congratulate me once more and let me know to contact her for anything and everything.
This places cares and truly wants you to look and feel your best on your big day

Wonderful from Start to Finish!

Wonderful experience with the ladies of Van Cleve! Went looking two times at VC, first time precovid with totally different vision, they showed me a designer I had never seen, who ended up being a designer that I fell in love with. Second time, year or so later I had an idea of the gown I loved and had previously tried on elsewhere, but came to VC for Martina Liana trunk show to see if I could top it. Megan was so kind and helpful in guiding me as I narrowed down, I felt so secure in knowing I was making the right choice! Even though there were so many exquisite dresses I knew it was the one. They say it is a feeling, that you just know, and no denying it, every time I had this dress on, I only thought of my man!
They were so wonderful, I called about a million times asking for updates on when it would come in (kept hearing about all sorts of industries having production issues, and shipping issues, such a scary time, luckily I bought way in advance) and the girls were sooo patient and kind. Amazingly, my gown actually came EARLY! I was so pleased! They were fabulous, such a beautiful store, gorgeous gown collection and such considerate employees. Thank you for all of your help ladies!

I was never the girl who had her wedding day dreamed out prior to getting engaged. I knew the energy I wanted that day to have but the details I never gave much thought to. I had a few dresses saved over the years on IG but not because I wanted that exact dress but more, so I loved something about the moment that was captured. So, in dress shopping I started from scratch, visiting a few boutiques and each place had good customer service. Once I found "The Dress", I wanted to try in on in a better size so that I could see how it would fall. I found that Van Cleve had it. Scheduling my appointment was fast and efficient. My appointment was with Nancy. Let me tell you she was the epitome of creating an exemplary customer experience from the moment that she greeted my mother and I. Her attention to detail, her TRULY listening to what was being communicated and then asking secondary questions to confirm that she understood correctly, her connection to treating YOU as if you are the only person in the store and above all her kind and genuine demeanor created an experience that I have never had before! There are people who are good at their job and then there is Nancy who this career was made for! I am 1000% glad that I said "Yes!" to the dress with the assistance of Nancy at Van Cleve.
There are a vast selection of dresses in multiple sizes, silhouettes, and color options, I honestly feel that every bride should schedule an appointment here. I am sure each bridal consultant is great, but if you have the opportunity, I would recommend you booking with Nancy, you will not regret it!

I had a few dresses saved over the years on IG but not because I wanted that exact dress but more, so I loved something about the moment that was captured. So, in dress shopping I started from scratch, visiting a few boutiques and each place had good customer service. Once I found "The Dress", I wanted to try in on in a better size so that I could see how it would fall. I found that Van Cleve had it. Scheduling my appointment was fast and efficient. My appointment was with Nancy. Let me tell you she was the epitome of creating an exemplary customer experience from the moment that she greeted my mother and I. Her attention to detail, her TRULY listening to what was being communicated and then asking secondary questions to confirm that she understood correctly, her connection to treating YOU as if you are the only person in the store and above all her kind and genuine demeanor created an experience that I have never had before! There are people who are good at their job and then there is Nancy who this career was made for! I am 1000% glad that I said "Yes!" to the dress with the assistance of Nancy at Van Cleve.

There are a vast selection of dresses in multiple sizes, silhouettes, and color options, I honestly feel that every bride should schedule an appointment here. I am sure each bridal consultant is great, but if you have the opportunity, I would recommend you booking with Nancy, you will not regret it! Happy Shopping!

I found my dream dress with the dream team

I went to van cleve on a whim and they scheduled me right away and I found my dress the same day. I worked with Nancy and she was so sweet and accommodating and really listened to what I was looking for within the budget I was comfortable with. I scheduled a second appointment with her to bring my dad and mother in law to see the dress and she was so accommodating again. The staff at Van Cleve we’re so sweet and welcoming. They made my mom and family feel so comfortable and welcomed. I plan on going back for my reception dress as well.

so thankful for a great wedding dress shopping experience!

This was my first time shopping for a wedding dress, and I can say that it was the most wonderful experience. From the first time I reached out to Van Cleve, they were extremely responsive and I was able to easily schedule an appointment. I was connected with Shelly, who hands down made the dress searching experience the best it could possibly be! I sent her ideas ahead of time, and we talked about what my “dress vision” was, even though I didn’t necessarily know exactly what I wanted! Shelly’s knowledge, skill, and natural ability to guide me toward my perfect dress was remarkable! I am so thankful for her help. Also, the shop itself is beautifully stocked with so many dresses - and Shelly helped me focus upon specific dresses so the process of choosing ones to try on was not overwhelming at all. I was also able to bring along my mom, grandma, sisters, and cousin, so I am thankful they could accommodate all of us! And finding my wedding dress there was the absolute best feeling - I recommend Van Cleve to any and all brides!

One of a kind experience!

There are truly not enough words to describe how wonderful Van Cleve Bridal is! Nancy is phenomenal and took the time to get to know me & my wedding dress vision. Unlike other bridal stores I have been to, Van Cleve ensured that I didn't feel rushed and used for a commission. Nancy made sure to listen to what I liked and disliked in my dress choices, as I was very indecisive at first. When I started liking dress styles outside of my original choices, Nancy was so kind and made sure she went back out on the floor and grabbed more dresses that reflected that dress style. Nancy and Van Cleve made the process enjoyable and memorable. Not only do they have an amazing dress selection, the phenomenal experience provided by Nancy and the Van Cleve team is top notch. Beat ALL expectations!!!

I cannot rate Van Cleve high enough! This bridal shop exceeded all my expectations of my experience shopping for my perfect dress! I walked in and immediately felt comfortable and like a bride! I was able to pick my own dresses, got a private room, and had the most wonderful services throughout the appointment! Definitely ask for Jen! My maid of honor got her dress there the week before, and Jen came on her day off just to help me find my perfect dress! She made me feel so confident, and helped me find my DREAM DRESS and a custom veil to match! Van Cleve is so accommodating and lets you know what customization can be made on the dress and veil up front! Book the appointment, and book with Jen :)

Amazing place to find a dress

I was SO nervous to go wedding dress shopping. I did not think I'd be a bride who knew when she found "The One". Van Cleve made the experience unforgettable. I worked with Caroline who was amazing - she made me feel so comfortable every step of the way. Caroline didn't just pull dresses I was interested in and have me work down the line, she strategized the order of try ons based on feedback from myself and my party. She continuously swapped dresses for others in the showroom based on our inputs. In the end, I went with the very first dress that Caroline picked out. And yes - I did have the moment where I knew I found "The One".

The set up of the store was perfect - my guests had a comfortable and private place to gather and wait for me to try on each dress. I felt so special emerging from the try on room into their waiting area. The flow of the process was perfect and gave me the dream dress shopping experience.

I had the BEST experience at this bridal salon! Shelly was SO knowledgeable and fun to work with. She studied my Pinterest board prior to my appointment and read me like a book and pointed me to the most perfect dress immediately and saved me from settling for a dress at another salon. Wish i had gone here first!

I had been to 6 other stores to try on dresses and I was beginning to lose hope that I would ever find a dress I loved. Shelly was BEYOND amazing and sat down and got to know me, my style, and what I envisioned for my wedding gown. Within minutes she had selected dresses for me and to my shock I LOVED them ALL! Van Cleve was really the only store I went to where I felt that I had options for dresses in my size and ones that I LOVED. My only regret was that I did not go here first! Both Van Cleve and Shelly were amazing and I cannot recommend them enough!

Highly Recommend Visiting Van Cleve

I had a wonderful experience at Van Cleve! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with kindness by our amazing consultant, Shelly. We were blown away by the amazing bridal selection that Van Cleve has on display. On top of their selection, the showroom is like a dream. All of the bridal dresses are in pristine shape and the fitting rooms are high end and luxurious.

Shelly started our appointment by asking questions about my dream dress. She was thoughtful, extremely knowledgeable, kind, and professional. With Shelly’s guidance, I found a gorgeous bridal gown and I cannot wait to wear it on my wedding day next year! Bridal shopping

I went in there as a second option and I pretty much had my mind made up on a dress at a completely different Bridal boutique and almost didn’t show up. Well thank God I did. They had a wide variety of dresses for a reasonable budget. My stylist Nancy was amazing. I’m on the curvier side and she helped me find things that fit my shape but also went with my theme perfectly. I would definitely recommended Van Cleve to any bride that’s having a hard time finding their perfect gown.

Exceeded Expectations 🤍

Van Cleve has exceeded my wedding dress shopping expectations!! The salon was stunning, clean, spacious and each bride had a PRIVATE room/dressing room. It was great that my entourage was able to relax and enjoy the experience in a private setting. Everyone from the front desk to my consultant made me feel beautiful and special and not in a fake way. The consultant showed me exactly what I wanted, had incredible recommendations that I ended up loving!! They were conscious of my budget and didn’t show me anything over budget without warning. Their wide selection of styles and designers gave me so many options!!! They also had standard sample sizes and plus sizes so I felt incredibly confident knowing in the dress I chose would look good in my specific size. I went to another bridal salon in the area and it couldn’t compete with the level of elegance, knowledgeable consultants and variety of dresses. Truly amazing experience. Can’t wait to take my Mom and FMIL there for their dresses!!!

The perfect dress and experience!

Everything about my experience here was perfect! Shelly was so amazingly helpful in both picking out dresses that 100% fit my style as well as being a great listener and helping me walk through my different thoughts about what exactly I was looking for out of my dress. All of the gowns were absolutely beautiful. After we finally picked one, Shelly was super helpful in making sure we could get it on a quicker timeframe and kept my nervous self updated every step of the way as we waited for it to arrive. Once my dress was in, the alterations department took over and they were also amazing. Quick, supportive and perfection in their work. Van Cleve helped to make my wedding my perfect day.

Van Cleve Bridal was amazing! They have a huge selection of wedding dresses for all price ranges. My bridal stylist Shelly was the best!! She knew my personality and style before meeting me. She had me try on a variety of dresses to help me figure out exactly what I wanted. Most importantly, Shelly was very honest with me throughout the try on process. This was my first appointment trying on dresses so I didn't want to rush into buying a dress right away, and did not feel any pressure to make a final decision during my appointment. Shelly knew which dress was "the one" before I did! I came back and bought the dress because nothing could compare to it! My mom is planning on going to Van Cleve to find a MOB dress because we had such a great experience getting my dress here!!

Amazing experience

I had the most amazing experience at Van Cleve. It was my first time trying on dresses, and had such a wonderful experience, I ended up saying yes to the dress that same day! We had our own little private room with private dressing area which was convenient. Our consultant, Caroline, was so sweet and helpful, we never felt rushed with her! Before your appointment, they call you ahead of time to get your style, and when you get to the store, Caroline had dresses picked out for me, plus my family and I were able to browse the entire floor (very large selection) and pick out some dresses as well. Overall, it was such a lovely day and I couldn't recommend it enough!

Top notch service

My experience with Van Cleve was amazing. The salon is beautiful and very clean. Shelly is the best in the game! She texted me two days prior to my appointment for pictures and she had so many ideas in mind. She had a feeling that my dress would be the one before I even put it on, and she was right! No nonsense, great customer service

First of all I was having a hard time finding Bridal Shops to work with, as we were planning our wedding in seven months. So I needed the dress to arrive in six month, tough but not impossible. I was not looking to get alterations done as I am a skilled seamstress. All the places I talked to in philadelphia (via email because most wouldn't pick up the phone) said they would have to charge rush fees and I'd be limited (although the lead times for brands on their websites would fit in my time range) these places also asked for pinterest boards and full length photos of myself and my instagram account before even booking an appointment. As a 40 year old bride and a Stylist myself, I thought this was just too much. SOOOOO I ended up reaching out to Van Cleve and did not regret it once! No nonsense, just helping to bride pull and try on dresses! Anna there was amazing at my first appointment and had me in my wedding dress within the 5 dresses we pulled to try! OH and the veil! I did my follow up appointments with Ashley and she oversaw making sure I got the veil in time and ordering extra lace for my dress (I wanted the extra trim). So if you want a classy experience with a professional staff and you don't feel the need to submit questionnaire and form after form before even getting an appointment schedule, just simply call Van Cleve! They'll take care of you!! They understand that brides are under a lot of other stress so they are ready to make your life easier!!! Thanks Anna & Ashley!

Love Van Cleve!

Could not recommend Van Cleve enough. I tried dresses at a few places and Van Cleve went above and beyond. The stylists were SO helpful in picking out dresses, and they’re very respectful of budget. I had no idea what to look for or what questions to ask, and our stylist walked us through every step and was just amazing. She clearly just wanted brides to be happy with their choice, regardless of what anyone else wanted. She did a great job pointing out all of the costs associated with each dress (e.g., adding buttons, getting the dress tailored, adding other features) so I felt like we were able to make an informed decision and there were no hidden/unexpected costs. I would recommend Van Cleve to any bride. The whole team is amazing and you’re in great hands at Van Cleve!

So accommodating - a wonderful experience!

Working with Nancy at Van Cleve was a wonderful experience! She was able to accommodate me and squeeze me in when my Mom was in town for wedding dress shopping. She was patient and answered all of our questions. She was also incredibly helpful in explaining the wedding dress shopping process and offering her professional opinion when it made sense. I wasn't quite ready to "say yes" on the day of my first appointment, so we scheduled a second appointment for two weeks later. She worked with our schedule to make sure we could come in. Again, Nancy answered ALL of our questions when it came to making my final decision (My Mom and I really left no stone unturned) and when it came time for me to say yes to the dress, I was 100 percent sure!!

Thank you for such a wonderful experience!! I can't wait to wear my dress and come back for a fitting!!

Dream Come True

I was dreading wedding dress shopping – I was so worried I wouldn’t find “the dress” and wouldn’t feel beautiful in the dresses. After going to 2 other stores where the experience was just fine, I didn’t have very expectations for going to our 3rd store, Van Cleve. I should’ve known it would be a completely different experience the moment our bridal consultant, Shelly, texted me the day before. She didn’t just ask for my Pinterest page – she wanted to know how I wanted to feel, what I was thinking, and even let me send her pictures of the dresses I liked on my body from the other stores. She met us at the door and right away, I knew I wasn’t dealing with someone who wanted to just pull dresses for me, she was truly a magician at her craft and wanted to do everything to make sure this experience was as magical as it could be with current restrictions still in place. She put me in a dress that I never would have pulled for myself but I put it on and it was absolute magic….myself, my mom, and my sister all cried almost immediately. She helped me figure out what tweaks were possible to make the dress even more perfect for my body. Somehow after meeting Shelly, I knew that she would work her magic to find me “the dress” and to overcome my self-confidence issues to feel as beautiful as I always hoped I would. The experience at Van Cleve was truly a dream come true and I’m already counting down the days until I can try my dress on again!!!

A Lifesaver!

Van Cleve was a lifesaver! I had to make a lot of changes to my wedding plans due to COVID-19, and I essentially planned an entirely new wedding in only 3 and a half months. I needed a new wedding dress, and I was very stressed out about how I would find a dress with enough time. I also had a strict budget for my dress because I had already spent so much on my original wedding plans before we made all of our changes for COVID-19. I reached out to seven different wedding dress stores in Pennsylvania and New Jersey to see if any stores had any sample gowns that I could purchase within time and have altered in time. Out of all of the stores that I contacted, Van Cleve was by far the most understanding and willing to work with me. I had a particular dress in mind, and they happened to have a sample of that dress in my size. Because of my situation, they were willing to sell me the sample for almost half off! I could not believe it. I was able to quickly schedule an appointment to try on the dress. My consultant, Nancy, pulled a few other dresses for me to try on, and she was very mindful of my limited amount of time and my budget. In the end, I loved the dress I had inquired about more than the others. I decided to take a couple of days to decide if I wanted to buy that dress, and Nancy was very understanding about this. She said she would let me know if anyone else wanted to purchase that gown, and thankfully it remained available until I made my decision. I live about an hour away from the store, but I was able to conveniently pay for my dress with my credit card over the phone. I had my dress altered at Van Cleve by one of their seamstresses, Vera. She did a fantastic job, and she was able to complete all of the alterations with plenty of time before my wedding. She also gave me recommendations on how to minimize static on my dress and veil. When it came to the big day, my dress fit perfectly, and it looked absolutely gorgeous. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. I have received so many compliments on my wedding dress, and none of it would have been possible if it weren't for the wonderful staff at Van Cleve. I highly recommend trusting Van Cleve for all of your bridal needs!

Extremely helpful and so nice!

I used Vancleve for my bridesmaids dresses! Megan was extremely helpful in helping my vision come to life. She gave appropriate timelines for every need and couldn’t have made the process more smooth! The price point was right on what we were looking for. Each and every time I went looking she never hesitated to make it such a wonderful experience. All the staff members were always very welcoming and friendly. So grateful for Shelly’s help!

I can’t say enough good things about my experience shopping at Van Cleve. I came into my first appointment feeling dejected and depressed about wedding dress shopping with COVID weight gain. Shelly was so helpful, she listened to everything I said and helped me find enough different styles to really help me narrow down what I was looking for. She also helped me pinpoint exactly what I liked and didn’t like about each one. I left that first appointment with a top choice and feeling so much better. I was able to come back in a much more positive headspace and I loved the dress even more the second time I tried it on. I feel so excited and relieved to have found a dress I love. Pandemic wedding planning is tough and it’s great to feel those excited butterflies again. I’m so so grateful for Shelly’s help and guidance!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Van Cleve. Our exceptional wedding coordinator Shelly made everyone feel comfortable, and put me at ease the first time she reached out to me prior to our meeting. We tried on all the dresses I had spoken to her about, in addition to ones that she knew would fit my vision. We only had to go to Van Cleve once before we got my dress, it was painless and perfect! Very enjoyable and pleasant

My consultant reached out a few days in advance for what I was looking for and pictures. Knowing what she was going to pull ahead of time made such a huge difference. And knowing I was trying to top a dresss I had already tried on was so helpful for my experience. I would recommend any bride to go there!

Found My Dream Dress!

I had the absolute BEST experience at Van Cleve. My stylist, Nancy, was incredible. She pulled dresses I sent as inspiration, but the ones she pulled on her own ended up being my favorite. Once Nancy learned my style, she pulled a dress that was absolutely perfect, and I said YES! Nancy really listened to me, what I liked and what I disliked. She also gave me some tips to ensure I feel my absolute best on my wedding day.

I have been dreaming about my dress ever since I left the store and that is all thanks to Nancy!

Fantastic Experience with Shelly!

Don’t waste your time at other bridal salons- call Van Cleve and make an appointment with Shelly. I knew after just a few minutes of speaking with Shelly on the phone prior to my appointment that she was the fairy godmother of wedding dresses that would help me find my dress. I had tried on at least 40 dresses and still was not sure how I really wanted to look on my wedding day. Shelly helped me narrow my vision and eventually find my dress in one appointment. THANK YOU, Shelly, for making the experience so much fun and helping me find my dream dress! You are truly the best!

Wedding Dress Shop That Actually Cares About You

I had an unbelievable experience at Van Cleve. The store is beautiful, the staff is welcoming, and the experience is wonderful.

I recently had an appointment there, in search for a wedding dress with my best friend, mom and aunt. I truly cannot speak more highly of our experience with Nancy. During my first appointment I did not find the “one,” but I learned so much from Nancy about wedding dresses, the searching process, and wedding planning in general through her shared knowledge, compassion, and expertise. From fabrics and styles, to using those pins so well and getting creative about dresses… she knew it all.

This was my first wedding dress shopping experience. From start to finish, and even in this strange COVID world, she made me feel comfortable, informed, and beautiful. I’ve always been fearful of pushy bridal stylists and she was quite seriously the opposite. In fact, I wanted to buy a dress simply to support what a great help she was. Weeks later, she followed up with me to let me know there would be a trunk show coming that she thought I might like. She shared photos and videos of dresses that fit the style I had been eyeing. Ultimately, I went back and "said yes" to one of these dresses.

Weddings can be stressful and COVID seems to make all aspects of planning even strange and more stressful. Nancy made this experience feel special and generally… so much more fun. She's incredible and you will love shopping and trying on dresses at Van Cleve!

Amazing Fun Time with my mom and Shelley

Van Cleve is a beautiful store. Right away my mom and I loved the ambiance. Shelley was the icing on the cake. She was friendly, patient, funny and so down to earth. She knows her stuff. She found me the most perfect dress. I wanted a few changes to my dress within in days she sent me sketches from the designer with the changes I requested. Most Amazing People and Bridal Shop!

As an indecisive bride I could not have picked a better place and team to help me find my wedding dress. Shelly helped put me at ease and was hands down the best person for the job! Her creativity, patience, and passion for working with brides was evident throughout our appointment. As I told her "you are all 9 of my bridesmaids helping me pick my dress" and boy did she not disappoint. Van Cleve Experience

I had an amazing experience at Van Cleve. Nancy was extremely helpful, supportive, encouraging, and fun to work with, and she helped me find my dress! I expected to only try on a few dresses at my 90 minute appointment, but I actually tried on 12 gowns! Nancy was very respectful of my budget as well, which was very much appreciated. I can't to go back and start alterations soon!

Five Stars

My experience purchasing my wedding dress from Van Cleve was fantastic from start to finish. I worked with Nancy to find my dream dress - one that was the exact opposite of what I told her I was looking for, but perfect for me in every way. Nancy was fun, professional, and felt like a friend every step of the way - work with her if you can!

My wedding was originally scheduled for November, but we decided in July to move the date up to September to accommodate an outdoor celebration. Nancy and the Van Cleve team were so helpful in accommodating my new date and assured me my dress would arrive on time even though we were on a tight schedule. Valentina completed my alterations with a small window of turnaround time and my dress my absolutely perfect on my wedding day. I'm only sad that my wedding dress shopping experience is over!
