We cannot thank Valley View enough for the most beautiful and memorable wedding we could have ever imagined. We live in NJ, but Valley View made it very easy to plan the FL destination wedding of our dreams. The venue itself is breathtaking; our pictures have the most stunning backdrop. The staff was incredible to work with.
Alan, the owner, was the first person we met when we drove out to Alachua for an unscheduled, impromptu tour of Valley View. He very graciously and patiently showed us the property and explained everything in detail. Alan is the reason we booked our wedding there. They are the most genuine folks; VV is truly a family-owned and operated venue.
And they make you feel like family.
Being a destination wedding, we booked their inclusive "Destination Bride" package to take most of the planning burden off of us.
They have 2 beautiful lodges on the property which we rented for our family/wedding party to stay for 2 nights. It was a comfortable stay and perfect for all of us.
We had our rehearsal/welcome dinner on the VV veranda the night before the big day, and it was the perfect kick-off to our magical wedding weekend.
Don't sleep on your opportunity to have your dream wedding at Valley View.
They also own another venue about a mile down the road from Valley View (Santa Fe River Ranch) that is equally charming in its own rustic way! We had a difficult time choosing between these 2 venues.

We cannot stop gushing about our experience with Valley View. We are beyond grateful to them for making our special day feel so easy and stress-free. We were very impressed by their entire staff; they are a well-oiled machine --complete with discreet, earpiece
walkie-talkies to communicate like the secret service is running your
big event 😉
The venue also provides a bartender for you and YOU provide your own liquor/beer/wine for the wedding.
This is the biggest cost savings!!
Take a look at the venue pictures online; we chose to do our ceremony down on the the island, under the arbor. We were lucky; we had terrific weather. But you can also choose to get married under the veranda, overlooking the breathtaking valley below.
We have a million memories from our wedding at Valley View that will last a lifetime.
Run -- don't walk -- to book your wedding there! You will NOT be disappointed. -

Couldn’t have been better!
Valley View made for an absolute dream experience with planning our wedding. A stunning venue with such caring and knowledgeable staff made for such low stress when it came to any planning for our special day. Our friends and family were so in awe of the venue and we all had the most amazing time! I could not have asked for a better wedding experience. The venue itself is so naturally beautiful, yet it allows for beautiful customizations to make each event special and unique. As a bride who had an on and off rainy wedding day they had the perfect plans that made for easy adjustments that worked out perfectly! Would 10000% recommend Valley View to everyone! -

A Dream Come True
When I first came to tour Valley View I fell in love. I felt it in my heart that this is where I’m going to get married. Valley View has more to offer than any other wedding venue I have ever come to know. They offer multiple packages that will meet the needs and expectations for all. They treat you like family, and go above and beyond for your wedding. My wedding wouldn’t have been the same without Jen. Jen is one of the most amazing human beings I have ever had the privilege to meet. She can read you like a book. She knows what you are looking for and how to make it happen. She also knows what you don’t need lol. Having Jen as my coordinator was a true blessing. I truly hope she knows how grateful I am to have been married at Valley View and to have her as my coordinator. I will recommend Valley View to everyone and anyone getting married. Valley View will forever hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for making my wedding a dream come true. -

Valley View was everything and more than our wedding dream could contain. We were lucky enough to get a tour led by Alan, the owner, whose love for the land and the business shined through in every conversation. From the second we toured, we knew this was the venue for us. The scenic beauty that showcases old Florida Oaks, swaying Spanish moss, and a small intimate island hidden in a pocket of the land as a ceremony location - we fell in love. Before and during the wedding, Marsha and her team were dedicated to a perfect execution, and no detail got left behind. The staff are genuine and kind people. There is truly something magical about a venue and team that partner in solely the business of making people's favorite day/dream come to fruition, and that magic was there because of the work, consideration, and intention that went into it. We are so very thankful and happy for the memories we now hold tight. -

Valley View is the most beautiful and amazing venue you will find anywhere near gainesville, if not all of florida. As soon as I took my first tour here I knew it was where I could have my elegent princess wedding I always dreamed of. Their decorations or so pretty and exactly what I imagined. We got married on the island and it was 100% worth the upgrade.
But I can't rave about Jenn enough. She answered every email, text, and call and kept the day going so smoothly. She also helped keep me calm when the rain threatened to change our plans day of. She stayed positive and in control the whole time and the day would not have run as smoothly without her.
My guests are still talking about how gorgeous everything was! So glad I had my dream wedding at Valley View! -

Valley View made my dream wedding come to life. It was the most perfect day and could not have gone any better!!
Valley View made our perfect day go so smoothly. They are very organized and have everything in line to ensure your day flows correctly. They were there for any help we needed and did all the work behind the scenes. They also offer many packages that include using their materials which made the planning go much easier. I rate Valley View 1000/10, they were literally perfect for us. The venue is very well kept up and made my dream of a classy wedding come to life. -

Valley View was a fantastic venue. We booked in March 2020 and they were very gracious about our changes in wedding plans 3-4 times due to the pandemic. When our day finally came it went off without a hitch. As the bride, I was able to enjoy the day instead of planning details- something that was super important to me!- because of the day of coordinator. The venue gathered all our things at the end of the night and we were able to pick things up when we were ready. They were more than accommodating throughout the entire process.
Besides the great customer service, the venue itself is beautiful and has a glamorous modern vibe vs being rustic (see their sister venue for something more rustic). The bridal suite is very large compared to other venues and comes included in the price. My girls were able to enjoy a full kitchen and many mirrors and rooms to get ready and relax in throughout the day. We received many compliments throughout the wedding about how beautiful the setting is. It feels like you are miles away in the country, but only 10 mins from Alachua and 25mins from Gainesville. I would recommend Valley View highly for your event! -

This venue should be everyone's first choice when it comes to a wedding venue. I've never seen a group of people work harder and smarter than the Valley View Staff. Jen was a blessing throughout the entire planning process of our wedding. She answered every little question that I had no matter how many emails I had already sent her, and she did it with patience, kindness and excitement! Her husband was a freaking rock star during the rehearsal dinner. It was a torrential downpour the whole day so he setup our tables inside. As soon as I got there I was beyond happy with it but he KNEW I wanted everything on the terrace. Without a second thought he made the decision to move the tables to the terrace knowing the rain wouldn't be an issue. It was super thoughtful and the dinner was perfect! The entire staff blew my mind on the wedding day. Everyone worked like a well oiled machine! They all made it so I didn't have to stress AT ALL the day of the wedding. Aside from the weather, which they couldn't control, I had absolutely zero stress.
The venue itself is gorgeous and extremely well maintained. Not that I'm surprised!! There are so many spots to hold a ceremony as well! The options at Valley View are extremely endless! We chose the island for our ceremony and it was everything I could have wanted and then some. The water is so relaxing and the whole atmosphere just screams romantic. I'm so so soooo glad we chose Valley View. It's the best venue in the Gainesville/Alachua area by far! -

Excellent!
This venue and staff were amazing! Everyone was always very kind, reachable, and helpful. The crew at ValleyView at every talented in decorating and coordinating the events. Our wedding day turned out beautiful and the staff at ValleyView made sure everything ran smoothly. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone! -

Wedding of the Year - Cheers to the Crapples!
I would like to start out by saying a huge thank you to everyone at Valley View for making our special day the best day we could have asked for. From our initial visit to the venue where we were shown around by Jake and explained how the process would go, to many follow up emails/ messages/ calls/ meetings with Jen leading up to our big day made this experience less stressful than a bride and groom can imagine.
Our special day was held at Valley View on November 13th, 2021, with all our family and friends from near and far. We had phenomenal weather and all the details were coordinated and set up by the team at Valley View. The bridal suite was so gorgeous and such a great space for the girls to get ready and hang out. The guys had their own groom’s suite which was a nice space for pre-wedding activities.
Jake, Jen, and Marsha were all so accommodating and helpful with all things related to the big day and truly made you feel like you were a part of the Valley View family. So many of our guests shared with us that they have never seen a more beautiful wedding venue and we couldn’t agree more. The views that this venue offers are spectacular, truly breathtaking.
We are so lucky that when we visited Valley View back in November of 2020, they were able to provide us upfront with their availability and the packages they offer. After visiting over 10 venues prior to Valley View, we immediately fell in love and knew we wanted to celebrate our special day here.
Again, huge thank you to the team at Valley View for making us a part of your own. We’re very grateful for how seamless our big day went. -

The absolute best!
Getting married at Valley View was everything I ever hoped for and more! From the moment driving down the winding road, I knew this would be where I got married 🤍 Jen, Jake, and Marsha really went above and beyond to make sure the day of was seamless. We used the ballroom for our ceremony and reception, and used the outdoor veranda for cocktail hour. The day was so very cold, and they had heaters outside for our guests, but they were able to flip the ballroom in like 20 minutes (when they said it would most likely take the whole hour) so our guests could go in! 100% would recommend this venue and these lovely people for your wedding!! -

There’s so much I could say about Valley View. From the very beginning we felt something special about VV. From the hospitality, to the endless amount of amenities on site, VV offers absolutely everything. The southern charm is a serious bonus, you honestly feel and know the staff cares for you like family. We got the decor package which was the best decision I could’ve ever made, it was completely stress free and absolutely perfect. The day of, everything is handled so professionally. I tell everyone this but I genuinely had zero stress the day of. Anything I had the smallest doubt about, Susan and the staff took care of it. A smaller detail that I found so amazing was they packed our car up with all our gifts so we could have a seamless exit. There’s a whole house for your bridal suit, secluded from the main venue branch, which if you’re an anxious bride like me, THIS IS PERFECT! I’d pay anything to have this kind of service 100 times over. I recommend Valley View so SO much! -

Everyone had a truly fantastic evening at the graduation party at Valley View which included a delicious catered meal, fun dancing with an awesome DJ and the most gorgeous views around!! From the beginning planning stage, Jennifer was so helpful, attentive and organized. Her expertise was invaluable!! She and Jake both were incredible to work with and could not have been more helpful and pleasant. It was definitely a perfect evening thanks to this perfect venue and thanks to the professionalism of Jen and Jake Hitchcock!!! -

The BEST venue and staff in North Florida!
The entire team at Valley View is incredible. Everyone told me how stressful wedding planning would be, but thanks to Valley View I was simply able to LOVE the process! They took the headache out of everything and truly made the experience incredibly fun. On my wedding day, everyone kept asking if I was stressed, but all I felt was excitement because I knew I had the best team coordinating my entire day, and that they would address any hiccup that arose. We have had countless guests tell us it was the best wedding they'd ever been too, and we know it was all because of you helping us bring our vision to life in the easiest fashion! Valley View is one of my new favorite venues in Florida! It is a stunning building and property, with so much thought that went into the details of every square foot. They truly thought of everything when building this luxury wedding venue, with the beautiful white walls, flooring, chandeliers, chiavari chairs, stunning terrace that overlooks a lake, and of course the natural beauty of the big mossy oak trees. As pretty as it is, their staff is just as amazing! Their venue staff is so personable, professional, responsive, and caring for both the client and the rest of the vendors working the event. They provide top notch service from start to finish, and I can’t recommend them enough! If you are looking for a beautiful modern venue for your wedding or event, you won’t regret considering Valley View! -

I chaired a brand new gala at this venue. Not only was it a new gala but the venue was brand new as well. Jake and his team were amazing to work with. They helped us all along the way. And when day of a storm came through they helped us adjust everything for plan b. The event was amazing thanks in no small part to the venue. We immediately signed up to do next years event there again. -

Valley View was the perfect venue for our black tie wedding. It's the perfect setting for an elegant, classy event. The building is stunning both inside and outside and the bridal suite is amazing. The views are just breathtaking all around. All our guests loved the venue as well. Jake, the owner, and all his staff were amazing to work with. They were very professional and helpful throughout the process. We highly recommend Valley View!!!
